Audra Ostergard, Associate Chair of the Nebraska Democratic Party and member of the Democratic National Committee, announced Tuesday she is backing Barack Obama.
Ostergard is a Democratic superdelegate - one of the more than 700 party officials who will determine the Democratic nominee.

Mr Cafferty and others are missing an important point and pushing to win the battle that will guarantee that they lose the war. This is what you need to understand – it's not necessarily that people will vote FOR McCain as they will vote AGAINST Obama. With his closet as full as it is and people such as yourself defending him at every turn (patronizing white person's disease which would irritate the heck out of me were I African American) while abusing Hillary Clinton and her supporters will simply and surely guarantee that they vote for McCain in the fall. The other side to this is that if Obama were running against virtually anyone, the other person would be the better and more experienced candidate.

People need to remember that even MCCain does not want to use "dirty tatics." I think I have heard him make several statements regarding this issue, given what he experienced in the hands of George Bush.
But all that Hillary wants us to believe is that there is a need to "fight" rather than negotiate; that there is a need to tel lies, rather than be honest; that there is a need to throw mud, rather than compromise. Well, this is Washington, as we know it- fight, blame the other party, and do not carry out any solution for this nation. Keep fighting, but when you go out there, be prepared to pay $4 at the pump; expect your job to close down, and expect to pay more for food and insurance. Just keep fighting, see if these fights resolve any issue for this nation!!!!
I certainly hope this is just the beginning of the delegates that will get a move on and take a stand. Both sides are tired of the bickering. We need to get behind someone and get the Republicans out of office before they destroy this country!

Each state has a different amount of electrol college votes. The popular vote doesn't count. remember 2000?

Clinton and her camp need to think before injecting more negative attacks on Obama. If somehow the nomination is given to Clinton by super delegates, the United States will soon be experiencing the worst race riot in history. Obama nuts don't seem to understand that if they don't want the votes to count in FL and MI all Obama had to do was to accept a revote or redo, but he got scared of loosing. So why punish democrats who voted because a republican governor changed their primary dates, I mean how stupid is that. Personally, I do not have any problem with Hillary. As I understand "personality disorders," she strongly believes that "there is nothing wrong with her." I work with these kinds of folks everyday— they abuse their spouses and blame their spouses for all the problems in the relationship.
My problem is with those who "fail" to see or recognize the psychopathology (a mental health issue) in this family! They continue to support the Clintons, totally blind to their "history" in this nation. Or probably blinded by wealth or the "image of a "fighter" and not a "peace-maker." God bless us all!!

I can tell that the lower educated support Ms. Clinton, because, like her math in paying for all her promises, they cannot do math either. The count is in folks, she ahd to win PA by over 20%, she did not, he cut her lead from 33% to UNDER 10% a NET increase of 22% while her numbers fells 8% (for you mathmatically challanged there were undecided before the selection that is why the numbers don't add up). The simple FACT is he leads in delegates (total) but more importantly he leads in POPULAR VOTES and ELECTED Delegates. The win margin for ALL remaining states for Ms. Clinton has gone from a required 20% win margin BEFORE PA to almost a required 30% win margin after PA to TIE him in delegates. The fact is she can only wim by overturning the popular and pledged votes at this point, she DID NOT make the required gains in PA. Now we KNOW she will not quit, she is a fighter (reminds me of the current resident he is a fighter even after all the facts show he should stop) after all. I just wonder after she loses in PR and NC (I guess they are not going to be important) and when Indiana comes in as too close to call (I suspect, having known a bunch of Hoosiers over the years, she will win there by a slim margin (<3%)) if she will be able to do the math then and quit gracefully or if she plans on destroying you Democrats and holding out for the convention. My guess I will see her lying butt here in Beautiful Denver... too bad I was looking forward to a nice summer.
