Obama: Nobody's complained more than the Clintons

Obama held a press conference with reporters Wednesday.
Obama held a press conference with reporters Wednesday.

NEW ALBANY, Indiana (CNN) – Facing reporters for the first time since his loss in the Pennsylvania primary, Democrat Barack Obama said he "doesn't really understand" Hillary Clinton's attack line that he "can't stand the heat."

"This is sort of the kitchen sink strategy, and the argument about not being able to stand the heat - that I don't really understand," Obama said, responding to a question on recent attacks aimed at him.

He went on to turn the argument on them.

"Nobody has complained more about the press, about questions at debates, about being mistreated than Sen. Clinton has, or President Clinton," he said.

"We have been pretty tame in terms of taking our shots and just rolling with them."

Obama has already won over 55% of the pledged delegates. It is mathematically impossible for Hillary to catch up.

That's so true! Hillary has complained about the press treatment e.g SNL skit...... and now she complains that it's Obama who can take the heat. She has gone from teary eyed to eye bulging shame on you Obama to God knows what? Am sure she can't recognize herself anymore in the multifaced person she has become

The Clintons have been taking shots for a long time from the media and their critics. S. Obama is only beginning to feel the heat! The voters need to know more about his negative side to be able to make sound decision on whom to choose!

You should get out of the race before the superdelegates put you out.

YOU ARE UNELECTABLE. STOP NOW AND LEAVE GRACEFULLY.

We know she can handle the heat because the press keeps it cranked up all the time. Even after the PA win, this morning Pat Buchanon and Chris Matthews threw some punches. The media are constantly on her, even independent studies have been conducted that reveal the she receives extraordinary negative press compared to Obama and McCain. However, it hasn't really deterred her voters. Think what she could do if the media were with us.

Dems, let's kiss and make up! Clinton/Obama 2008/2012

The best strategy for Obama from now on is to completely ignore Clinton. She cannot mathematically win the nomination. He should just say "If senator Clinton wants to focus on me – fine. I will focus on the issues and the differences with McCain". He should completely ignore her, and only have his surrogates issues factual statements whenever necessary to respond to the next mud.

Thats because Sen Obama cares about the party! He had PLENTYYYYYYYY!!! of opportunity to take shot after shots after shots after shots and he DIDN'T!
Sen. Obama is a respectable man and runs a decent campaign NOT like the other candidate with the kitchen sink strategy!
It does not pay to be nasty! In the end people will see how nasty and negative Hillary is!

Really. This direct negative DIG at Clinton isnt negative by Obama? Its a total joke. Of course it all comes down to how the MEDIA SPINS IT.

All along, they could have pointed out all the NEGATIVE biting things like this Obama or his surrogates have gotten away with. But NO. The media INSISTS that its just Clinton playing the negative game.

Spin Spin Spin, you cry baby. You lost because you got caught lying to the people. You can't take a punch; you just spin and run from the truth. You act like a big man sometimes, and then you go into crybaby mode.
    Step up, answer the questions!
    1. How did you stay in a barely Christian, hate spewing church for 20 years and not know what was going on?
    2. Why are you friends with and discuss issues with a man like Ayers?
    3. Do you believe in Black Liberation Theology?

I think that if each of us give $25.00 you should atleast get about a total of $25,000 from each of the people that I've called, these will be individual contributions. It's On Now. "RELAY FOR OBAMA!

COME ON PEOPLE, LETS SUPPORT SENATOR OBAMA AND GET THE MILLIONS TO WIN IN ALL THE REST OF THE STATES COMING UP!

I don't think Hillary is the one that can stand the heat.... otherwise she would have ran a clean campaign. Instead, she turns to fear tactics, lies and attacks to get votes. She's P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C.... America deserves better!! America deserves Obama who is a more than better candidate.

The news media have gone nuts. Now they are finding news in who stands behind Senator Obama at his rallys. The news bias towards Hillary has reached 'National Enquirer' levels. No reporting on the Columbian Trade Deal Hillary had know her husband and campaign manager were lobbying for; no front page news of her saying 'screw em' in reference to Southern voters (Obama's word bitter was front page news for 5 days); no mention of her saying she would use nuclear war against Iran; no mention of the Federal case "Clinton vs Paul'. Who is behind this nasty news blitz against Senator Obama?

Obama does nothing but complain! Why does he not give us results how he will fix the problems instead of just whinning about Clinton. He has also played dirty, how quickly he and his campaign forget!

No, he is no Kennedy!!! Will never have the carisma either.

I never have liked him or trust him or his wife. I felt like this when the Bush's ran too.

Clinton is a very smart lady and hope she gets the nomination!!!
