Oklahoma governor backs Obama

 Henry is backing Obama.

(CNN) – Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry endorsed Barack Obama's White House bid Wednesday.

"Senator Obama is uniquely positioned to unite our nation and move beyond the divisiveness and partisan skirmishes that too often characterize politics as usual in Washington,” Henry told The Oklahoman.

Henry, currently serving his second term, had said he did not plan to endorse until the party's convention in late August.

Hillary Clinton won Oklahoma on February 5 with 55 percent of the vote.

Henry is one of the party's 720 superdelegates who will ultimately decide the party's nominee. About 300 remain undecided. (Related: Clinton picks up superdelegate)

Aren't the supers supposed to vote with the will of the people? I guess he is just the Governor of OK but does not represent the will of the people of OK? The same way Kerry and Kennedy do not represent the people of their states?

I see how this works... OK should be ashamed for electing this MAN to office.

Wonderful! Thank you, governor! Now if Edwards, Gore and others would have some backbone and do the same........ this brutal-attack-so-called-campaign would END.

    Are you listening?

This is sad when Mr.Henry is going AGAINST his own people and support the candidate that didn't win his state!

Such is the way with super delegates but the people in this state should be infuriated.

    Hey math wizards:

    Hilary won by 9.4%.

9.4% does not round up to 10%. She did not win with a double-digit win like everyone claimed she needed to go on.

    Ignore it if you want.

Could you imagine the uproar amongst the Obamistas if a governor of a state that was won by Obama, decided to give his superdelegate vote to Hillary?

A NO VOTE FOR MRS. HILLARY CLINTON IS NOT A YES VOTE FOR MR. JOHN McCAIN AND AMERICA WILL VOTE.

Who can America trust after Mrs. Hillary Clinton campaign tales are over?

unbelieveable – WOMEN in Oklahoma should be outrached! Another typical white guy suppressing the woman vote.

She won a 10 pts spread in Oklahoma - he has no justification! Where's the will of his people?
