Clinton sees influx of campaign cash

Clinton has seen an influx in campaign cash since winning the Pennsylvania primary.
Clinton has seen an influx in campaign cash since winning the Pennsylvania primary.

NEW YORK (CNN) - Sen. Hillary Clinton's Pennsylvania victory seems to be helping her regain ground financially against rival Barack Obama, who has outraised her by tens of millions of dollars.

The day that followed Clinton's Pennsylvania win was the biggest day in the history of her campaign, according to Terry McAuliffe, her campaign chairman.

The New York senator raised $10 million through the Internet and had 80,000 new donors, he said.

Compare that to two months ago, when Clinton could not afford to pay staffers and even lent her campaign $5 million from her own pocket.

Before you Obamabots go off the deep end and say she's a liar and a cheat and all the other garbage you spew, just remember that nobody's perfect including Barack Obama, that everybody makes mistakes, that Barack Obama doesn't like being criticized on the issues. Every time his policies are justly criticized he ridicules his opponent by claiming it's unfair, racism, silly season, or that someone is lying. He can't handle Hillary much less the Republicans. This dog won't hunt. He'll make a good VP.

As for Hillary's record, honesty, trustworthiness. What part of $70 million don't you understand?

The blue collar workers of PA must be better off than we thought. Or is this another con? I hope it doesn't mean the Clinton's will owe more favors if they regain the White House.

Obama and his thugs should have played fair.

    No one likes fixed elections.

Democrats don't like it when you disenfranchise fellow democratic voters.

Democrats do not expect the DNC and the democratic party elites to swiftboat one of their own. Their best candidate ever.

    Democrats want equality and justice.

    Power to Hillary.

  7. Clinton is a liar...

I don't believe anything coming from Clinton, she's a certified pathological liar....however, her debtors owed about $9 Million dollar should line up to collect their money already....

In the meantime, I checked Obama's fund-raising...1,441,960 individual donors..WOW..that guy blows me away and I am so impressed..I would send another donation...maybe a recurring donation..

Meanwhile another superdelegate endorsed Obama...this guys is the future of America but some unprogressive Americans cannot see this...

Yes, she has an influx of cash – now she needs to pay those small business owners she owes. It is ashame for a presidential candidate to take advantage of the small business owner like she has. Shame on Hillary!

Donations are skyrocketing for Hillary because she has a Plan with Solutions for our country. Hillary has the experience for our country and change that we desperately need. Hillary is not going backwards with the Old Guard as Obama. Hillary is going forward and beyond. That what you call CHANGE!

Hillary, the fighter, the best person for the most difficult job in the United States.

    Obama avoids debates...

    He can deliver good speeches...

The advantage is that he can bring leaders from Iran, Syria and other countries and give them a lecture...

LOTS OF TIME WILL BE SAVED....

THIS IS THE CHANGE OBAMA IS TALKING ABOUT...

  13. voting block

African Americans (12% of the population) are voting as a block for Obama based on race, not the issues.

What if women (52% of the population) united and voted for Hillary as a block based on gender, not the issues.

    Wouldn't that be grand?

    OMG!!!

What is this article doing here. Hurry do an "article post recall" or something.

I did not know you post positive news about Hillary!

Oh I know... you are posting news that she is getting a lot of money but you followed it up with but Obama has outraised her by tens of millions of dollars.

    I get it!

You people are unbelievable... Not fair CNN!

I would like to make a suggestion... Please post the authors of your articles and provide us with information if the author is pro Obama or Pro Clinton. This way, we have a choice with reading it or not.

Don't believe it for a minute. Either she's lying straight up or she's getting 'contributions' filtered illegally. Based on past history, probably the second choice.

  21. we wanh hillary, not mccain...screw him.

Since Hillary is $10 million in debt, she "miraculously" found $10 million "since Pennsylvania". Ten million minus ten million equals zero. If she's responsible, she'd pay off her debt. If she's irresponsible, she'd continue to ignore her creditors. Either way, she doesn't have what it takes to handle her business. She should step down.
