Clinton sees influx of campaign cash

Clinton has seen an influx in campaign cash since winning the Pennsylvania primary.

Clinton has seen an influx in campaign cash since winning the Pennsylvania primary.

NEW YORK (CNN) - Sen. Hillary Clinton's Pennsylvania victory seems to be helping her regain ground financially against rival Barack Obama, who has outraised her by tens of millions of dollars.

The day that followed Clinton's Pennsylvania win was the biggest day in the history of her campaign, according to Terry McAuliffe, her campaign chairman.

The New York senator raised $10 million through the Internet and had 80,000 new donors, he said.

Compare that to two months ago, when Clinton could not afford to pay staffers and even lent her campaign $5 million from her own pocket.

  1. I call it racist

More people in America have voted for Hillary than they have Obama. Let's look at that math too! If we are a democracy then that is how our president is elected. I don't know what kind of rules our party leaders have made but this is simple. Hillary is ahead in people , American people's votes.

Avoid these Hillary haters. They have no respect fo our country . They only know how to cry "racist" when 92 percent of the African Americans in Penn. voted for Obama. Who are the racist? Americans are not stupid.not all of them anyway.

This is too funny! Hillary is BROKE!

    This race is over!

It's time for the news-media to do what they do and tell the world this race is over and have been since Feb/08 when Obama won 10-states to Hillary's zero!

Not only is Hillary broke but she must pay back every dime so – it's a good thing her and Bill made $109-million dollars.

I am glad to see this race over with and if I never see Hill and Bill will it be too soon! What a hell-of-a-way to let a rookie beat them! Here's what's really funny ---- Obama used the same games that Bill Clinton did when he ran for president!

people are learning democracy is not free, and running for office is not cheap.Too many just want to complain,or be negative, about America, the people running, the news media, you can read more than one paper or listen to more than one station, that way you get all opinions and decide for yourself. I'm glad Clinton is getting Donations,

Now Hillary finally realizes that it is the little donors that will make a difference in her struggling campaign. That's what happens when all of the large special interest donors have given their limit.
Wow, Hillary's campaign leadership is utterly amazing! Nothing like pleading for people to visit your website and contribute during your PA "victory" speech. How tacky!
May as well be one of those less-than-truthful "infomercials" – she's well suited to bending the truth to fit her brazen desires. 🙂

POOR OBAMA , with his 200 million dollar spending and supposedly millions of supporters (who apparently have nothing better to do other than post nasty comments about Hillary). Mr Obama is UNABLE to close the deal. WHY. WHY CANT he just defeat Hillary for good when he outspends her 3 to 1.

ACCEPT IT obama supporters. There is something seriously missing in your canditate and no amount of money you contribute can buy him that. Also, the "young, educated" obama supporters should probably get a constructive day time activity (like a job maybe!!) instead of spewing hatred against Hillary all day long.

WHO NEEDS a quitter like Obama with his glorious speeches of hope and nothing to show for them. I would not even a hire an office clerk without experience, let alone the most powerful job in the world. So he expects training from day one??!!! We need a leader from day one. A fighter from day one. Not a Rock Star pushed into white house by infatuated young poeple, with no experience like their candidate.

I love watching whiny Obama drones panic. Indiana and North Carolina are going to be fun because he's not even going to be more than a blip in West Virginia and Kentucky following. Puerto Rico should be enjoyable to anyone not following their messianic figure.

  12. For all the women...

    TO Charlotte:

Your words touched me. I believe when it comes down to it, everything is about sexism. The very thing that Hillary fights for the most, Human Rights, including Womens Rights, is what is holding her down. All you women that are afraid or jealous of seeing a woman in the White House should go back to when times were really hard and see how much women have progressed throughout the years. Then maybe you would understand. Obama is NOT the right candidate. Maybe he can be in 8 years. Hillary is the right candidate, this is her time and her moment.

Discovery in Paul vs. Clinton civil fraud suit to begin in Spring

As Hillary Clinton’s belief in the inevitability of her 2008 ascension to the Oval Office is being shattered by the voters, the landmark civil fraud suit against Bill Clinton, with Hillary as a material witness, is proceeding to discovery and trial in California this Spring.

Citizens are emboldened by the popular rejection of Hillary’s bid to be the first woman president to support the five year civil fraud suit against her and Bill. The mountain of evidence that has been presented in the pretrial pleadings for defrauding the dot com millionaire Bill convinced to become Hillary’s largest (and secret) donor to Hillary’s Senate campaign.

The collusion of the media, the Department of Justice and the Federal Election Commission in protecting Hillary and Bill Clinton from any accountability whatsoever for felony violations of the Federal Election Law (illegally soliciting and coordinating more than $1.2 million to Hillary’s 2000 Senate campaign) and of the Obstruction of Justice laws, including Title 18 Sec 1001, making false statements to government agencies, provides a public record of a cover up by the media and the government that is greater than Watergate in its scope.

Some of the comments from the radical Obama supporters are beneath contempt. Where were you people born–under a rock? Last I heard, this was a free country and we all get to vote for our best idea of a candidate. You kids must not have parents or grandparents-the way you talk–or they disowned you long ago. And to think great Americans have fought and died so you could have free speech!

  15. rigged for Obama

At caucus Obama sometimes won by a percentage of one delegate- i.e 1/2 delegate = 1.

    Fuzzy caucus math.

$5M dollar LOAN, that's laughable. The audacity she has to loan her campaign money "as an investment". As if $109M wasn't enough.

  18. rigged for Obama

The caucus format was so flawed and undemocratic that Obama gained more delegates for a 109 margin than Clinton did with a 100,000 margin of votes

I have contributed to Hillary Clinton and now am finding others to contribute. Contrary to the opinions of the Obama supporters on this blog, I am not a bigot or a hillbilly or an idiot or an uneducated unchangeable idiot. I am supporting the most qualified candidate. I have studied their plans and listened to many speeches. I have concluded that Hillary Clinton is the best choice.

What I find interesting as I read the comments above is how little the Obama supporters say in support of their candidate. They do not support Obama or they would point to some particular position that he has taken which makes him the best choice.

Hillary Clinton has the best plan to achieve universal health care. She has specific plans to provide for investment into alternate energy which not only leads us in the direction of energy independence but also will provide thousands of new jobs which cannot be exported. She specifically has outlined her plans to invest in medical research and provide additional funding for the National Institue of Health. She also will seriously revamp our early education program and eliminate No Child Left Behind.

I know all of these things because I have read her website and have listened to her speak before large rallys and small forums. She has a better grasp of the issues which are most critical to this country. She speaks with specifics and with conviction. Her ideas are original and well reasoned.

I appreciate Sen. Obama and if he is the nominee, I will vote for him in spite of his supporters disdain for me and my candidate. What I do not understand is how do you expect to win in November if you alienate everyone in May? I know my candidate and I respect her and hope she will continue to fight for every vote. The Clinton supporters tell her daily to continue her campaign. Do you really think that you hatefilled Obamanites can convince her to drop out?

Obama supporters what are you afraid of the process continuing is it because as this process prolong everyone will get off the Obama kool aid and see that he is too new to be President.

His messeage is right on point and we do need a new direction but if that is the case then why did all of you leave Edwards hanging in 2004 and 2008. Edwards messeage also had a movement yet you Obama suporters picked Kerry and look what happen.

Look real good at Obama and you will see that his time is not now its Hillary time and with that being said I am contributing another $5 dollars to Hillary.

    They are lying!

Hillary will still be in the red! Don't forget – she owes Mark Penn – 4.5 million in back pay! Sir Elton – raised $2.5 million ----

It's doesn't mater how you slice and dice this lie – she is BROKE and she is out of this race!

Take Jame Carville with you Hillary! Did anyone see him on Larry King with Bill Richardson yesterday! How nasty and mean on national TV! Go Obama –

Her "accounting system" certainly must be different than the standard!! She is already deep in debt!! I suppose she'll use this money in some usual deceptive, negative, ugly advertising, and continue to "neglect" to pay her vendors, her staff, and others who she owes!! IF SHE CANNOT PAY HER OWN DEBTS, WHY ON EARTH WOULD WE TRUST HER IN THE WHITEHOUSE WITH THE TAXPAYER'S MONEY???
