(CNN) - President Bush was quick to endorse John McCain when the Arizona senator wrapped up his bid for the Republican presidential nomination.
But another Bush might not be so sure.
Speaking with CNN's Larry King Wednesday night, Jenna Bush said she hasn't decided yet who she will vote for in November.
"I don't know," Jenna Bush, daughter of President and Mrs. Bush, said when asked if she will back McCain.
"Of course [I am open]. I mean, who isn't open to learning about the candidates and I'm sure that everybody's like that," she added.
Though the younger Bush conceded she has "been too busy with books to really pay that much attention."
Meanwhile, mother Laura Bush was quick to affirm that she will be voting for the Republican candidate in the fall.
The two appeared on the show to discuss Jenna Bush's upcoming wedding next month.
"[It will be] outdoors, very small wedding, you 'know, very small, all relatives, our families, really, kind of big," Jenna Bush said. “So it's half-family and then half very close friends."
Well dah. None of the Republicans like him. They are looking for a third party candidate as we speak.
Add Jenna to the long list of first daughters who will be voting for Obama.
The apple didn't fall far from the tree. What an empty head.
Good girl Jenna. Vote Democrat :)!!
Gotta love Mrs. Bush though. She made sure to spin that conversation back into a positive light for her party.
May Ms. Jenna have a beautiful wedding and bright, happy future.
Please tell my anyone would care about who Jenna Bush is voting for in the general election?
Have you ever heard this ding-bat speak? Typical of todays misdirected youth – no wonder they lean Democratic, and more so for an empty suit, socialist such as Obama.
Amazing . . . a Bush with a brain.
Who, young man or woman, in their right mind, interested in the future of this country would want to back these 2 old candidates (MacCain and Clinton) for president? None and I dont blame her.
How funny. Maybe she will vote democratic this year. That would be something.
I also noticed today that CNN political page has a donation spot for Hillary Clinton. Whats with that? Is CNN backing Hillary for President now days?
Damm ... I guess John shud just withdraw now?
Who cares what Jenna thinks. Her dad has successfully destroyed our economy, crippled our military and turned the US from being an inspiration to the world, to being a despised militaristic expansionist.. Like it was predicted eight years ago, he will do for the US what he did in Texas as Governor, wreck everything. None of the GHWBush siblings have ever had to accept responsability for any of their actions. Why should Jenna be any different.
I GUESS THEY DON'T THINK A WOMAN SHOULD BE A PRESIDENT IN THIS GREAT COUNTRY OF OURS.
HOW SHAMEFUL TO BE A WOMAN IN THIS COUNTRY TODAY.
A very small, but really big wedding.
This family is a disgrace.
Well, that was certainly something the world was wondering about.
Hats off to the quality investigative journalists at CNN for getting to the bottom of this vital case. Perhaps now you can move on to even more vital questions such as who Brittney Spears or Paris Hilton might not vote for.
Thank you Jenna. We all need to select the best candidate. With being so close to politics and yet having an open mind on who will do best for this country, I am impressed.
She wants Obama!
Finally a Bush with half a brain
She is smarter than her parents.... Great Jena !!
According to your article, Jenna Bush DID NOT say that she was "not voting Republican" in the fall. She merely stated that she had not selected her choice. Just because she has not yet DECIDED on McCain, does not eliminate all other options besides Hillary and Obama - and we don't even know which of those will be running! You are limiting America's choice to two options, while Jenna is leading the way by pointing out to the public that we have many more available choices in our free country, that often get ignored.
She is smarter than her parents…. Great Jenna !!
Jenna sounds just like her Grammy! "[It will be] outdoors, very small wedding, you 'know, very small, all relatives, our families, really, kind of big," Jenna Bush said. “So it's half-family and then half very close friends."
What I'm hearing which is sort of scary is that they all want to stay in Texas. Everybody is so overwhelmed by the hospitality. And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway so this (chuckle) – this is working very well for them." –Former First Lady Barbara Bush, on the hurricane evacuees at the Astrodome in Houston, Sept. 5, 2005.
Don't worry daddy's little puppet will turn it around. I am sure she will learn from Hillary and say that whatever a man does you have to OBEY their every command, despite what, or how and whoever the person does wrong. Women I applaud you now back to the kitchen and get me something to drink while I have my mistress come over
Well said, Jenna. The University of Texas has served you well.
What a wortheless article! Who cares as to whom she will vote for?
Since when did an elected officials children have a say in politics (ie. Clintons daughter).
This election is becoming a sad situation.
I heard their second cousin twice removed has an opinion too, will CNN pick that up????
