Obama picks up Oregon superdelegate

Rep. Wu is supporting Obama.
Rep. Wu is supporting Obama.

(CNN) - Oregon Rep. David Wu said Thursday he will cast his superdelegate vote for Barack Obama.

"I think we are blessed to have two strong candidates for president," Wu said in a statement released by Obama's campaign. "I am endorsing Barack Obama for president today because I believe that he is best suited to turn the page on this sorry episode in American history. He and I both had the judgment to oppose the Iraq War from the very beginning.

Wu, a five term congressman, is one of the party's nearly 800 superdelegates who will ultimately decide who gets the Democratic presidential nomination. He is the second Oregon superdelegate to endorse Obama ahead of the state's May 20 primary - Rep. Earl Blumenauer endorsed the Illinois senator earlier in the year.

Clinton also has two Oregon superdelegates in her camp - Gov. Ted Kulongoski and Rep. Darlene Hooley.

    Welcome aboard Rep. Wu!

Obama has now picked up more superdelegates since Hillary's "big win" in PA.... what does that tell you about what party leaders are thinking?

Watch the Hillary supporters show up and be like "THIS IS NEWS??" CNN is so biased!! they only cover Obama and not Clinton.

I think Obama was right when he said people were bitter. He was probably referring to Clinton supporters who are bitter because their candidate is losing.

I guess "folks" in small towns and states are "smarter and more educated" than folks in the BIG states!! Hillary is from NY–

NY, PA, FL, CA etc. (except TX), continue to amaze us! Just look at the "wisdom" of the smaller states– Indianna, NC, Iowa etc.– . Left to them, this madness would have been over with before now!!

WELCOME TO THE WINNING SIDE SIR!!!!

PS: I wish people will sto saying Obama should have put this away!!

HE DID WHEN HE WON 11 STRAIGHT CONTESTS!! AND PICKED UP SO MUCH DELEGATES THAT IT IS MATHEMATICALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR HER TO WIN (imagine if the roles were swtiched, there will be LOTS of pressure for Obama to drop out)

    OBAMA 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How strange these people going for Obama the day after he loses another big key state that will determine the election outcome in November.

    Is Obama buying these people?

What does the United States call other countries who change their rules in the middle of an election to favor a particular canidate. Corrupt. That is exactly what Hillary Clinton and her team want to do. Change the rules in the middle of an election. According to the official rules this election is finished and Obama is the winner. Therefore, no more need for another debate so they can team up on Obama 3 to 1 again.

I know Hillary won't quit until she is knocked out all the way, so Obama please knock her out. Give her a good solid knock out punch that lands her sprawling on the ground. Then give her a couple of good kicks to make sure she doesn't get back up. We're getting sick of her and her buddies nasty mouths.
