I am so tired of this in-fighting. I use to support Hillary. But I changed my mind real quick as she continued to fight dirty and did everything she could to demean Senator Obama's character. She wants the presidency at all cost and I don't like her methods. Clinton and Obama have similar ideas, similar plans if they become President. But, if Obama wins, the Clinton supporters won't vote for him??? How dumb is that? I am a middle aged white woman who strongly supports Obama- but if he loses to Clinton, I will definitely vote democrat either way. Is America so stupid that they would rather have McCain in office? Even if it means more soldiers dying in Iraq? What about our problems here at home? They are both democrats!! Clinton supporters get over yourselves. If Obama wins the votes, he deserves the chance AND your support. If you don't support him, I would question the real underlying reason why you don't want him as our President. The word "racist" comes to mind....

This is what Hilary Clinton supporters sound like:

If the democratic party gives the election to the person who has won the most states, votes, and delagates I will vote for the candidate who represents the exact opposite of my values then the fellow democrat that does. If Obama gets the nomination, the issues will not matter to me, who cares about war, taxes and the economy, or abortion rights only the fact the my candidate was beaten fairly by some "uppity newcomer" who was able to somehow "bamboozle" the majority of democratic primary voters.

I am a proud Independent and I will never side with any party simply because there is not a party I completely agree with. Sometimes I see things from the republican perspective and sometimes I see things from the Democratic perspective.

Looking at the big picture, we all want the same thing, cheaper means of living, steady pay, and a safe neighborhood in which to grow. Many of these things were taken away when the Bush administration took hold of OUR government. Now we have a chance to win it back if we can only stop bickering amongst ourselves over petty things.

The majority of the people on this blog are more than likely the ones who are suffering from the affects of the current administration, but yet due to their candidate not "winnning" they will try their best to ruin it for everyone. Whether it be a Clinton supporter voting for McCain if she loses the nomination or be it an Obama supporter voting for McCain if he does not win the election or not voting at all.

Quite honestly, a politician is a politician whether they are white, black, asian, hispanic, male or female. They all have promises that they MUST keep to people other than ourselves. So, I urge everyone to seriously consider why and who they are voting for in this election. Is it to smite the other candidate or is it really to better America.

God bless us ALL

As an African American 50 plus years old who has consistantly voted democratic in every presidential election since age 20 while a college student, there's one thing that i love most about this country. We've been told from early childhool that any one can grow up to be president of the United States of America. We're the only country in the world where that is possible and that's what makes this country so great. So I understand that some democrats might not like Obama, but it perplexes me that they say that if he wins the nomination fair and square they will vote for McCain. He and Clinton have basically the same platform so why would someone vote for a Republican just because an African American is the Democratic Nominee? I think it's common politcal wisdom that the Republicans would be the first party to nominate a woman or african american candidate, and if they did I don't think you'd hear them talking about deserting the party because of it.. Things that make you go HMMMM>

1. I would like to meet one person that dosen't have a friend or family member that said something incredibly stupid and embarrasing. How small minded to judge someone by someone else's actions. Especially a sound bite. The media is incredibly good at making an issue out of nothing. They have done it to McCain and Clinton too. Disregard and get onto the issues.
2. Hillary has also been speaking with the DNC, did you not read the whole article? She just has not come to an agreement with them.
3. McCain has a short temper. He has shown it again and again. His fist clenching, name calling and degrading responses to those who disagree with think of other leaders in Europe. Please read up on this man before you vote for him.
4. I will vote for who ever the democratic nominee is because their platforms are so similar. Both of them are intelligent, strong, and want to see better things in America. McCain will be four more years of the same.

Great job, Senator Obama! I don't know what else you have to do to show the American people that you have their best interest at heart. Just keep up the good work, and know that you have legions of people who are rooting for you every day. God bless you, and God bless AMERICA!!

Anyone that will destroy America is Hillary Clinton..The voting results and the superdelegates votes clearly indicates Obama is the strongest. What Hillary should do, is step back and stop trying to destroy Obama's reputation. All she is doing causing seperation within the democratic party.

I prefer Obama, but dang it all, if Hillary gets the nomination, I'll back her all the way. I get concerned when "we democrate" start hating each other so much that we call each other racist pigs, etc. The Republicans are eating this up. Stop the name calling, push for Barack or Hillary, and accept whoever ends up on top.

To all of you who claim any person that just does not like Obama or has something that they don't trust in Obama is a racist better take a look in the mirror. Maybe the reason you dislike Hillary so much or don't want her for president is because you don't like women. Maybe you are a Sexist! What does that say about you?? Maybe you don't like Hillary because she is white? Maybe that is reverse discrimination? Maybe you all should take a closer look at yourselves and really think about it. Everyone is entitled to like or dislike anyone for whatever reason they have. Everyone has hatred for things, people whomever and to think they don't is ridiculous. To act on it is the problem. No one is acting on anything but just merely expressing their views and as a citizen of this free nation, we are entitled. That is what freedom of speech is all about. Get over yourselves and get back to politics.. oh that's right, everyone forgets that Obama portrays himself as one of you, regular American citizen living the American dream... you all forget... HE'S A POLITICIAN!!!!! WAKE UP!!!

WAKE UP!!!

I find it hard to believe how many people on these posts say "I support this democratic candidate, so if the other one wins I'm gonig to vote for McCain". This does not make sense. Both democratic candidates have, by their own admission, remarkably similar policy proposals and ideals. John McCain is the polar opposite of the democratic candidate on almost every issue. If you are believe in the ideals and policies of either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, you believe in the ideals of the other democratic candidate. I am a vocal supporter of one of the two candidates, but I will gladly vote for the other if he/she is the nominee.
Please, I know its easy to get attached to a candidate in such a personal process, but you have to be able to look past that and look at the issues. If you genuinely believe in the proposals of either Democratic candidate, you owe it to yourself and the country to vote for the other if they are the nominee.

Obama has been very involved and effective raising campaign funds for other democratic candidates in prior years. If history is any indication, he would help the DNC with fundraising for a Democratic presidential victory in 2008 whether he was the nominee or not.

Now, do your politician thing, and let rev. wright tell the truth. for all we know, the absolutely majority of the voters don't understand the truth ot can't handle the truth. you'll never make it to the white house if you tell the truth. just read this pathetic CNN "news" and its readers's comments. take it from me: the average american is even worse than this blogsphere.

that is why the biggest trick taught in the harvard kennedy school of government is how to "lead the public" with no wide-eyed illusion of "changing their hearts and minds" in any mianingful way,

that is how to manipulate the too-dumb-to-understand-real-choices public into believing that they have democracy and real choices, government of / by / for the people vs. the others. they don't deserve it, and they don't recognize it anyway.

Bo has nothing to show. Only talk and promiseis. Like BUSH "Read my lips." He can not be trusted and he can stand the heat. It will be easy for Mc to to win agaist BO. In my opinion this is very typical of DNC. The old ancicstors like Kennedy, Kery and the opoortunist from NM and Carry from PA are all jerk and looking forward to position in BO. But let me remind them that it will not happen. Mc will winn. If Hillary is smart she should walk away and give the nomination to BO and when BO looses to Mc this time, than in 2012 she can come and beat Mc and take the white house for 8 years.

After all the negative campaigning, psychotic antics with behavior, and arrogance of entitlement to the nomination, I wonder how all the Clinton supporters can actually feel proud of standing behind her.

I not only feel sorry for the Clintons but for all supporters who are brainwashed and truly just don't undertand politics. Lanny Davis is a good example of a pathetic, political analyst loser who continues to sound like a broken record with his, "battleground states" speech. Give us a break!

For all the women, established supporters for Clinton, I feel even more sorry for you because you are desperately wanting to put a "female" president in there but yet, the choice is the worst possible politician ever. Good luck Clinton supporters, you'll need it.

She had every advantage, party hack on her side including a 20 pt. lead and Obama still almost beat her! Isn't it time to give it up Hillraiser? Ask what you can do for your country....

Way to go Obama, speak it into existence and look past all of the Clinton drama! You will be the Democratic Nominee and the Democratic Party will support you.
FACT CHECK: The American people can not with stand another 4 years under Republican leadership. Gas prices are soaring, we're in the midst of a recession, and far too many of our men/women have died fighting a war that should never have been authorized. The choice is clear in 2008, the same or change. Sen Clinton represents the same, sorry Washington Politics of the past people.

Try uniting the party after today's comments by another great Black leader in Congress. I believe his name is Clyburn. Sounds to me like we have two candidates in the Democratic party. One for the White people and African Americans that value the Clintons for their years of service to all Americans., regardless of color and the other one the Candidate of the Black Iberation Front and White Socialists.

It won't happen the American Public is better educated today than they were 40 years ago. Even the old people can go on the internet and learn what BLT means besides Bacon lettuce and Toast. They also keep abreast of foreign affairs.

To all of the readers that try to use the race as the cause of win, I have just one thing to say... GET A LIFE...

why Obama:

-He has seen the rough side of life and knows what poverty and lack of education can lead do.
-He has earned his way up
-He has a vision of unity and prosperity for the nation
-He respects people for whoever they are
-He builds bridges between people and takes our differences as a contribution to the country, not as a means to divide us

It makes sense. Theres no way we want to give the repulicans any motivation to turn out and vote or donate money. Hillary is not worth getting republicans excited. Obama will suppress the republican vote in the general election .

we all must agree with that.

politics is just like sport. any sport. imagine the playing field. football, basketball, etc. now establish the rules of the game. rules created to achieve fairness for all players.

question: after the game has begun, maybe the second quarter can one team change the rules. i don't think so. that would not be fair.

we all admire those who play the game to the best of their ability. no one admires the team that strives to win by cheating.

sport like politics is not about race, it is about ability and dedication. did i mention commitment to excellence? truth and honor achieved on earth echo in eternity.

mmmmmm I read from the world news all the time, that the world have been wantting a way to bring unity and love.
If this has been the true mission of the World leaders.
then Obama is the answer, for he is 50% black and 50% white,
which is the 100% key to Unity
Thank
John K

by far the best line from Hilllary and her multi multi millions gained by hook or by crook, deals with foreign Governments, is that Obama is the one who is elitist - is hilarious and those Clinton supporters just lap it up - good lord!
We still don't know about Clinton's library - when is that being looked at again by the media????

Democrats are really good at one thing- losing elections...even those that are seemingly in the bag.

We have now spent more money than ever just to beat a really weak republican nominee, with everyone already disgusted with Bush. We should have taken this election without any campaigning and without spending ANY money.

But once again, we are desperately trying to install the nominee with appeal to the radical, ultra-liberal and fringe elements of the party. Such a candidate can not even pull all of the democrats behind him- much less the rest of America.

Now we will Pander to the newbies and the black vote- out of fear of alienating them... and then we are willing to lose the election. Again.

We never learn. This party deserves to DIE.

The comments posted here show just how dumb some American voters are.

1. Obama has wrapped up the nomination. Clinton would have to win every state by a 65/35 split to catch Obama. This is not going to happen.

2. The arguement that Obama is all talk is weak. Do a little research you will see a Harvard Law graduate and a man whose policies are regarded as more viable that Clinton's false rhetoric.

3. Revrend Wright is not Obama, but Clinton has accepted a worse endorsement Scaife.

4. Obama IS more electable than Clinton. The republicans will easily brand her a liar.

5. If you are a Hillary supported and you say will support McCain over Obama, then you are too ill informed to be voting.

Listen to these Hillary supporters.... Obama is GIVING money to the DNC. If Hillary wins, it's hers. All this whining is only because you dont want to admit that your candidate is sinking. I guess this is what happens when losers lose.

If Hillary is not the nominee, I am likely voting for McCain if he picks a moderate running mate - otherwise I will sit this out. Obama is NOT EXPERIENCED ENOUGH TO LEAD THIS COUNTRY!
