Watch Obama's comments at a press conference Friday.

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (CNN) – Democrat Barack Obama responded to the suggestion that some view him as an elitist by pointing to his closet.

At a press conference Friday, the Illinois senator was asked about the perception some voters may have that he comes across as an elitist who "looks too much like a GQ cover" to be able to relate to working class voters.

He first gestured to his clothing choice. "I think this is a fairly standard suit here, you know?" he said. "I haven't changed my approach to dressing too much.

"I basically buy five of the same suit, and then I patch them up and wear them repeatedly. I have four pairs of shoes. Recently I've taken to getting a haircut more frequently than I used to because my mother in law makes fun of me. So I don't think people are too worried about what I'm wearing."

He added he didn't feel the need to go out of his way to prove his "street cred as a down-to-earth guy" because, according to him, people who've known him long enough know that to be the case.

Well, if he doesn't have enough shoes, maybe the 100 million dollar club members (Hillary and McSame) can give him a loan. This is silly CNN.

Who's posting these articles, a 12 year old?

Portland, you are an uniformed idiot. If you would bother to research the man you would know that Obama had student loans and scholarships. It has NEVER been said he was a drug dealer or any of the other things you state. You are obviously one of the uneducated Clinton supporters.

If Obama is an elitist.

How many presidential candidates post Harry Truman were:
a) Raised part of the time by a single mom of a different race who at one time needed federal aid.
b) Raised part of the time by his grandparents who were from a different race.
c) B in KANSAS.
d) Travelled to other parts of the world not for pleasure but due to his mother working for a living.
e) Received federal aid to go to college.
f) Decided for a career as a community organizer vs. a clerk of the Supreme court.

There are no elitists in the southside of Chicago, drive through there after 10:00pm on any day of the week and tell me how many you see on the corner or at the community centers!

You may want to stay in your car!

God bless Obama, he must be a Christian, for seeing the best in people and Hope in America.

I see the negative, bigoted, racist opinions of people as nothing more than "crabs in a barrell". Some people can't stand to see people improve themselves and their lot.

Misery loves company!

JB in Nashville   April 25th, 2008 5:32 pm ET

Elitist is making college harder to obtain. Elitist is tax cuts for the rich. Elitist is wars of choice being fought by underpaid soldiers. Elitist is thinking that there's nothing wrong with $4 gas. Elitist is thinking that the markets can figure out the mortgage crisis and help American citizens on their own without regulation. So ask yourselves, who is the real elitist here?

The distraction is intentional. The issues are real. But look over here at this shiny watch. It's so pretty as it swings from right to left and from leffft to riiiiiiiiiiiiight.

I'm sorry, I forgot that thinking is elitist also.

Danel   April 25th, 2008 5:30 pm ET

He knows how to dress well without looking cheap. That's why he looks like GQ model. If you don't have 'it" no matter how expensive your clothes doesn't matter just like putting lipstick on a pig.

Did Obamas tax returns show where he deducted the interest from all those college loans? where are returns from 1997-1999 . Also Obama went to a high end school in Indonesia, a very expensive private school in Hawaii, then on to harvard, ect . Obama knows nothing about making ends meet,

Elitism is a belief and an arrogant attitude, that one is superior to others. They have deep insecurities which they defend against by holding themselves a cut above. Obama has often shown arrogance and entitlement to be the President. He is the product of the Illinois/Chicago political arena. Don't ask, secretive policies ,identical to the Bush/Chaney years in the White House.

Notice the Republicans, Hannity, Rove. Limbaugh are not hardly
talking against Hillary, yet. They have to get Obama out of the way
first. God Help, American if Hillary or McCain continue their selling
off America to Columbia and China and Now Dubai. Wait, just
wait til the Republicans "debate" Hillary on their somewhat "bonnie

own dirty games on her and it will be repulsive.

He never ever says what he is going to do for the high cost of fuel. He is not a regular guy and never will be! He is just looking to play his angle if he gets the opportunity just like Clinton and Mccain and any other politican!! It is and it will always be about them! And their own agenda!!!!!!! Lets get some guts America and try something different and vote independent. If we keep going with same old players it will be the same old thing!!!!!!!

Obama camp continues to cry race and if he looses the race possibly his group will cause a race war in America.

Since CNN want post this message, I will write to all the Government official about this news. I am sure, this is a cover up for Obama. McCain is looking better each day, he is American and so is Hillary Clinton, they have the people heart and are standing up for America not Kenya.

LOSING   April 25th, 2008 5:10 pm ET

Democrats are really good at one thing- losing elections...even those that are seemingly in the bag.

We have now spent more money than ever just to beat a really weak republican nominee, with everyone already disgusted with Bush. We should have taken this election without any campaigning and without spending ANY money.

But once again, we are desperately trying to install the nominee with appeal to the radical, ultra-liberal and fringe elements of the party. Such a candidate can not even pull all of the democrats behind him- much less the rest of America.

Now we will Pander to the newbies and the black vote- out of fear of alienating them... and then we are willing to lose the election. Again.

We never learn. This party deserves to DIE.

ConsiderThis, FL   April 25th, 2008 5:08 pm ET

The longer this campaign goes, the more of AMERICA is revealed. While people are putting Obama under a microscope, it is AMERICA who's being SEEN for who we are. This man is our best chance of living life in America with some dignity; especially after the rape and pilage of the Bush administration. But, because too many of AMERICANS are RACIST, we'll get just what we deserve – MORE OF THE SAME IN WASHINGTON. So, when you vote for Hillary or McSame and it costs $200 for a tank of gas, no universal healthcare, no social security, wars, wars and more wars, and we all start living like those in undeveloped countries, we'll be getting just what we deserve. And by the way, it's funny how the people tht perpetuate the trash of the campaign are all rich and won't be affected by the decisions made in Washington; except for getting richer and richer and richer. It's NOT ABOUT BLACK AND WHITE PEOPLE! It's about the ECONOMIC PIMPS and their unmerciful determination to make sure that the rest of us are their ..........

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT!   April 25th, 2008 5:07 pm ET

Those that say he is elitist are using that as a basis for saying he is a Black Man trying to come up. They do not see elitist, but a Black Man.

End the racism and sterotyping.

Obama should punish Hillary for doing John McCain's dirty work for him by offering her the VP slot - publicly and often. She and Bill clearly feel entitled to the White House, and refuse to gracefully concede and make peace within the party - long after it became painfully obvious that she cannot possibly catch Senator Obama in the contest for delegates. So she should be forced to spend the next 8 years attending ribbon cutting ceremonies and foreign funerals.

Most of Hillary's supporters will vote for such a ticket, and if they win, all is forgiven. If not, she can run again in 4 years. And if she refuses the nod, she becomes even more of a pariah in the party than she already is. A win-win all around.

How can you call a Black, raise by a single mom, lived on welfare, could only afford to go to school on scholarship, how can you call that person elitists?
Please don't this as the race cord but most people included black people are not use to a Powerful black man who is not a artist, an athlete or a minister. so most people don't know how to view Obama, at lease every President is always married so see a Woman in the spotlight very comon. the Bible so when a person get married the two gecome one, so technically many Women as been there before. and many woman have control the oval office.
This is the first time a man like Obama have such chance, and this is the first time many American see a powerful black man.... it seems weird and ackorwd to lots of people, some react out of fear and rejection, some respond with excitment and embrace.

Oh! The Irony   April 25th, 2008 4:04 pm ET

Let's face it. The "elitist" tag was a strategic "name-calling" technique used to influence the PA Primary. The Clintons and McCain are not fools. They know the demographics of the state. They basically were using a code word to rally undereducated whites, blue-collar whites, and white males in general. They were saying, "Look, this black man thinks he's better than you".

How blind do you have to be to not see that? The Clinton's have played the race card before every so-called major primary and I don't expect Indiana to be any different. On one hand you have a unifier and on the other you have a bitter woman seeking to regain control "by any means necessary". Sickening.

Alberta   April 25th, 2008 4:03 pm ET

Did you forget Obama was not born with a siver spoon in his mouth. He was raised by a single mother who at some point had to depend on food stamps. It was my understanding that you lift yourself up by your booth straps, thats the american dream. Now that he and his wife have obtain the american dream they are now being told you went to far. The american dream for african americans is a high school education and a blue coller job. I don't hear any one objecting to Hillary attending princeton and bill attending oxford in england.

Can't we all get along and support !

Clyburn is pathetic. Look at the votes of blacks in all primaries , 90% + blacks vote Obama if that is not race you tell me. I don't think all black people believe what this idiot says about the Clintons. People wake up, it seems to me some of the black people think they own the democratic party, they forget there are some other minorities that matter most than them. Obama has used race all the way now some of his supporters blame the Clintons for the comments made by his former pastor. Obama is so weak in all aspects except talking about race. Clyburn you have turned Obama into a race candidate sorry for that matter he will lose in November if he is the nominee.

JB   April 25th, 2008 3:56 pm ET

Obama, the regular guy, tries to divert attention from the "elitist" issue by talking about his shoes. What about his own statement as to why he's running for president now as opposed to later - "In eight years from now, 10 years from now, we may still be nice people, but we may be in this orbit where we just don’t remember, we don’t hear people’s voices anymore." That quote from Shoeless Barrack speaks more to his elitist character than does his wardrobe.

shaun   April 25th, 2008 3:56 pm ET

The DNC and the superdelegates are already on board ship obama, it's just a matter of time before they give hillary the boot. The clinton's need to realize that all there underhanded tactics to steal the nomination will not work, and even if they do manage to win in indiana, they will lose
NC, and that will be the final nail in the coffin. Think about it. The clintons brought race into the election to tear down obama, but they did it too late. Maybe if they launched their plan to destroy the party earlier, they could have stopped obama from getting the pop lead, the delegate lead, most states won, but they didn't do it vigorously enough. Now there trying to pull out all the stops, and though it might have worked in penn, and even though there will be a new spell of pastor wright, and tony rezco the damage is already done. Obama will be the nominee, so hillary will just have to work hard to sabotage his general election campaign so she can run in 2012..

go obama

And look who is feeding us the crap! John MacCain and his wife, with 100s of $Million Dollars. They even find it difficult to report their income/tax returns.

But since all Afro-Americans are already voting for Obama and are already fired up with racial tensions, what does Obama gain, re-playing the race card?

There are no more Black votes out there to get.

And we all know The Clintons aren't racist.

If African Americans continue to try to label the Clintons racist, it will backfire. White America will not vote for Obama if he continues these lies and attacks on the Clintons. We do not need a race war. Some uniter Obama is.

Elitist, not elitist... as if ANYBODY who's running for president isn't elitist! Anyone who compares themselves to everyone else in the country and decides, "I need to be in charge of all these other people" is the very definition of an elitist.

So people need to get off this silly "elitist" meme. If you don't want to vote for an elitist, then you better pack it in, 'cuz you'll never get to vote for ANYbody.

mike,Iowa   April 25th, 2008 3:50 pm ET

Is there anything we wont accuse Obama of doing? Every candidate dresses nice. What is he supposed to do show up wearing tore up jeans a flannel shirt and a budweiser hat? May   April 25th, 2008 3:48 pm ET

Obama is a regular guy. He is in this election because he strongly feels an urgency to fix the broken government that has been hijacked by lobbysts. The Clintons are in this because they want to use the presidency to make millions of dollars.
One wonders why Bill did not get involved in some human rights cause like Carter and Gore. Instead he chose to make millions of dollar as a lobbyst for China, Canada, Qatar, Colombia to promote trade deals that ship american jobs abroad. I doubt he will stop if Hillary is elected.

It is amazing what some people will make an issue out of. Senator Obama had to defend the clothes in his closet? Seriously?

First, it is an issue that he doesn't wear a flag pin (neither do Senators Clinton and McCain–but neither get asked about it). Now, it is an issue that he dresses in a respectable manner. Senator McCain wears suits. Senator Clinton wears pant suits. Why is it an issue when Senator Obama wears the same? Talk about a double standard.

Just because he is a good looking man and dresses nice doesn't mean he is an elitist! What about all those old white Republicans who wear stuffy suits all the time, are they being criticized for what they wear? Is it simply because Obama is an African American that we are pointing out his nice attire? Would we be doing it if he was white?? I'm so sick of this kind of media coverage and politicking. All Obama wants to do is talk about the real issues the American people are concerned about, but everyone else wants to criticize the man for his choice of clothing. Come on!

I thought only ADULTS were able to vote in a president, all of this rev. wright and other nonsense are thoughts for teenagers to stay focused on what about the issues at hand? so why does he think he is just a regular guy because he has 4 pair
of shoes?

WHO CARES................

DF   April 25th, 2008 3:35 pm ET

Great the Obama, you should have enough shoes so you can walk the beat so to speak and check out the job market. You will need the 4 pair after these elections are over.

Sue, Preston MD   April 25th, 2008 3:33 pm ET

You know what I found really telling? I saw a picture of him a few weeks ago in which he had one leg resting across the other. You could see the bottom of his shoe. It had a hole in it. A pretty big one at that.

Independent-woman-voter-for-Obama   April 25th, 2008 3:33 pm ET

Is this news? When will be get back to the ISSUES? We are In a CRISIS, we are in DEBT, we are losing JOBS! We are in a mess...... please CNN get back to what you do best. Shoes? Who cares?

b-liberal   April 25th, 2008 3:32 pm ET

What a scam! It is not about the suit. And shame on the media for calling this news. Forget about the serious questions about me – look at my suit!

"didn't feel the need to go out of his way to prove ...." I guess he likes bowling and drinking beer and eating waffles in public with a camera crew. Do you really think we are that gullible? He is doing nothing BUT going out of his way to pretend he is anyhting but what he is.

Obama is an elitist in attitude toward Americans, and a slick, rich, connected, ivy-league lawyer, who tells his followers what they want to hear in vague terms, that can never be pinned down. And he engineered blocking FL and MI and is backed by big oil and other not-so-cute lobbies. And lies about it. And smiles all the while.

That is called politics as usual.

Robin Wagner from ct   April 25th, 2008 3:30 pm ET

To whom this may concern,
Barack Obama is a reg GUY . Conceding what Bill and Hill has for income . 109.million and she never released her 2007 tax return .
But she said it was 20million dollars.
And lets not forget the rich rich rich McCain and his wife with her beer cop.
To Barack and his wife combined income salary . Of 260.00 and gave 0.5% to Charity . 246.000 . They are living off his book money .
Of 3 million .
So yes they are reg peoples.
Also . He was still paying for his and his wife's . Collage loan ., OK yes they are reg people .

Obama needs to focus on his message of change and not get deterred no matter what they throw at him

Joint Ticket   April 25th, 2008 3:27 pm ET

Mr. Obama I thank God for you daily. Keep trying your best to pull us above the small things that separate us. I want you to know that you have inspired me to be a better person. I look differently at race and even the world. I know it gets hard sometimes but keep up the good work.

Typical White Person   April 25th, 2008 3:27 pm ET

The fact that Obama beilevs that we are so uneducated that we thing that there is a correlation between the numer of pairs of shoes one has and their power PROVES he is an elitist talking down to us!!!!! HAHAHAHA !!! LEMMINGS!!!! Don't evn see that you're being dissed by Obama!!!!! HAHAHAHHAHA!!!

Carol McFarlane   April 25th, 2008 3:25 pm ET

Of course he's a regular guy, that's the beauty of it – he can relate because he's always related! FOLKS! READ HIS BOOKS, TWICE IF YOU HAVE TO, and you will find out this is the same person, so much so it's uncanny.

What's the matter with us – are we going to count the hairs on his head – there is only one person who can do that, and that is God – he actually KNOWS the number of the hairs on our heads!

This hounding of Obama is ridiculous and very wrong. I hope it won't take an act of God to show us how wrong we've been in this campaign.

Typical White Person   April 25th, 2008 3:25 pm ET

The definition of elitist is:a group of persons who by virtue of position or education exercise much power or influence....it has nothing to do with your clothing or how many pairs of shoes you have...

Debbie, NJ   April 25th, 2008 3:24 pm ET

Cnn I'm sure he said something a little more worthwhile about being called an elitist. Like his wife said, they may have degrees from I.V. league schools but the lens in which they see the world is from the ones they grew up with.

Alex   April 25th, 2008 3:24 pm ET

Obama is an ordinary guy who made himself who he is. He made himself the person he is through hard work. I do not know how Hillary calls him elitist. What is she gone be if he takes that title away from her like the nomination for the presidency. Now she is the real bitter. Ha-ha. Leave the guy alone and discuss issues. If you do not have any point to make get out of the way than damaging the party.

Frustrated voter!   April 25th, 2008 3:24 pm ET

Oh so now their attacking his clothes??? What does the man have to do – switch clothes with a homeless guy to be elected? Make about $10k a year to be even lower that Hillary's $109 mil? Is this the only way he can "relate" to blue collar voters – forget the issues that's really concerning you voters, Obama LOOKS too much like a president don't vote for him!!! Give me a break!!! This is by far the ooooddest campaign ever.

to late to be a "regular guy", after you berated all the people in PA by calling them all a bunch of bitter, gun toting, bible thumping bigots.

Derek   April 25th, 2008 3:23 pm ET

Save money on suits, More money for the Campaign.

Maybe Sen. Clinton should have used that tactic. By the way, Ma'am...My family would like their campaign contributions back, we'd like to redirect those to the nominee.

People just hating because the brother is fine...

Rob Winnipeg Canada   April 25th, 2008 3:22 pm ET

what Senator Obama says may be true, but unfortunately the only spin in the media you hear about him are the characterizations by his opponents. If he were to explain his history a little more often then the elite tag would be seen for what it is more political trash talk by the Clintons and repugs.

joyce, NC   April 25th, 2008 3:21 pm ET

Barack, it's not about your closet, your choice of clothes, shoes, etc...you of all people should know the meaning of elitist and arrogance.

Choose your words my dear. It gets you into trouble. Perhaps simply because you mean them and can't hide that elitism within.

Momma for Obama MN   April 25th, 2008 3:21 pm ET

yeahhh that is how we know him,Go Obama,

the elitists are clinton and her entourage........ask her how many homes she has
ask her how often she hangs in Martha's vineyard, or Nantucket,
ask her how many outfits she has and how many sets of jewely
ask her where does chelsea go to school?
or even to be a bit more personal and direct, to the point,
ask her where does she gets her wine, beer, and cheese...
(all made in foreign countries) so much for supporting things being made in this country and supporting the blue collar workers..

what a joke they are, to use people like that, and say they want to help us..
she might have with teh help of CNN and Fox wrapped the senior citizens of PA and the few workers, but that wont last much..
most people know who the elitists are, who feels entitled to the presidency while the people say NO the show she is way behind could not catch up

but hey an elitist and money hungry person like her .............would say and do whatever it takes, they the clintons remind me so much of the Latin american dictators...............

Jay   April 25th, 2008 3:21 pm ET

does four pairs of shes include one pair of sandals? Cause if thats the case I got 3 pairs.

Nanc, MN   April 25th, 2008 3:21 pm ET

Eeeewwwwww....Jeez CNN, I hate when you print this type of story, I always start gagging a little bit. Next thing we know he'll be claiming he's got a pair of Red Wing boots, like lots of farmers, tucked away somewhere. Maybe there's some hiking boots, and not one pair of athletic shoes? How about a manly toolbelt?

CNN: Please stop trying to make my head explode. Because I know there's some crazy out there that will have counted (or made up) the number of pantsuits Hillary has and it's going to be Hillary's fault somehow, someway.

Try as hard as he might, he's not just a regular guy, and more importantly he's never wanted to be just a regular guy.

Marshall in Nebraska   April 25th, 2008 3:21 pm ET

Farrell, Houston, Tx   April 25th, 2008 3:21 pm ET

Obama is a man a very strong man and should be respected. But no, there are those who won't be satisfied until he's nailed to the cross. Is this how black our hearts have become? We need to stick to the issues.

Real newsworthy CNN. If it gets people to drop the "elitist" stance, though, I'm all for it.

Bubba   April 25th, 2008 3:19 pm ET

When he shows up wearing an alarm clock around his neck on a gold chain and his pants down so far you can see his underwear, THEN I'll take a crack at the way he dresses. After all, I go around wearing lederhosen and a Van Halen concert shirt all week and nobody says I'm ineligible to run for president.

Since folks have felt free to comment on Hillary's pant suits no reason they shouldn't take on Obama's closet...this is so frustrating to be the level of banality this race has come to....focus on the issues, focus on the leadership, we have a race to win in November!

This guy just paid his student loan few years back. He is the american dream. single mother didn't have anything and He worked hard and get to where he is. This is 99% of poor and middle income American dream. That is the reason I love this guy. He is very good example of everyday american life. I will work hard for Obama If he wanted me to work, if I have to go door to door i will do it.
Obama 08/12

Tom Baker   April 25th, 2008 3:16 pm ET

Jesus wept. What next? Do they want him to wear a Buffalo plaid shirt or, maybe, a dashiki? Wouldn't that go over swell? Bet there is a lot of voters out there that think he should be wearing a pair of bib overalls. Did anyone ever see HRC wear the same outfit. And those suits of hers aren't cheap folks.

jj   April 25th, 2008 3:15 pm ET

that's the problem. Most of the country DOESN'T know him. He's a good speaker so the young are easily led with phrases like, "It's your turn to run the country" etc. It looks like the majority of blacks hear the nice speeches and see only the color of his skin, he's one of us, so he understands us. What about the rest of the country. You don't have to be black to understand all races, young, old, blue collar, well educated, high school drop outs.

Alberta   April 25th, 2008 3:15 pm ET

Not only are you a regular guy, but you are presidential material. I want a president that can be respect by the citzens of this country.

He is a regular guy with character. Just because Hillary looks awful in her pant suits, don't trash Obama for looking good in a suit. What's next, are people going to go through his trash and moan that he uses real butter or olive oil?

The Obama supporters are so big on rules...
please read up on the rules governing the superdelegates and the intended role of those superdelegates.

If Obama wins by cheating that is no win at all.

Rebecca   April 25th, 2008 3:15 pm ET

Obama is a good man and the best candidate we have left. He is only a millionaire now because his book sales skyrocketed once he ran for president. Prior to that his wife and him were making much less than what most Harvard graduates make. Good for him, he wrote 2 excellent books and they have paid off for him. He is far from an elitist.

Cynthia   April 25th, 2008 3:15 pm ET

It seems that people mistake confidence in who you are as being elitist. Of course, Senators Clinton and John McCain continue to perpetuate such silliness.

Autumn, CA   April 25th, 2008 3:14 pm ET

He may only have four pairs of shoes, but he's got millions of votes, and the American people's resolve to change Washington, D.C.. More votes, I might add than Hillary or McCain.

We're with you Barack, don't give up. Remember you are the front runner.

No liars or warmongers in MY White House.

tiffany jackson   April 25th, 2008 3:12 pm ET

Don't worry Barack- we know you are a regular guy.No one is asking Hillary where she got that fancy pant suit and those diamond earrings from.

isn't it ironic?   April 25th, 2008 3:11 pm ET

This is the ultimate irony for the Obama supporters (the smart and educated people) to ponder:

IF Obama is our nominee, it is because the Washington Insiders that he speaks against (Superdelegates) GIVE the nomination to him.

It will NOT be because he convinced the electorate with his inspiring words of hope and change.

Hillary STILL got 50% of the vote even being sabotaged and throttled and handicapped.

cheater   April 25th, 2008 3:11 pm ET

regular cheating, lying politician who will steal this nomination.

Charlotte   April 25th, 2008 3:11 pm ET

We must be getting close to the south again. Lets face it, men don't need much more then a clean shirt and a different tie. Poor me, I'm just like the rest of you. All politicians will say or do anything to win.

Al Ware   April 25th, 2008 3:08 pm ET

Are we saying that the McCains and Clintons aren't elitist and Obama is? McCain's wife is worth more than 100 million and the Clintons make so much money they won't even release their 2007 tax returns. Please, lets be realistic about this. Obama is about as elitist as Jack Cafferty!

Woohoo!   April 25th, 2008 3:08 pm ET

idiot.

Karen - Branson MO   April 25th, 2008 3:07 pm ET

Obama is so far removed from an elitist it's been absurd to hear the Clintons and McCain call him elitist for political gain.

If people haven't bothered to research all the candidates by now, we know they won't be making informed voting decisions any time this century.

As far as I'm concerned, the arguments that are dead and now look old and tired are elitist, religion, black vote, etc. So what? Bring on Iraq, Afghanistan, mortgages, healthcare, education, re-training programs, revamping the trade policies, create and bring back jobs, environment issues, bringing Congress together to get something done for a change, involving voters to stay in touch with government issues, watching c-span more...you get the idea?

Walt, Belton,TX   April 25th, 2008 3:07 pm ET

shirley   April 25th, 2008 3:06 pm ET

Heres a quote from Hillary in the North Carolina Republican on
Jan. 10, 2008.

"I will not withdraw the troops from Iraq".

Now this is news, how is it possible that a person not connected to the news can find this quote but reporter's can't. The news media would rather look in church or print what someone Obama knew years ago 'said' than any real negative stories about Hillary. Who is paying whom here?

Susan   April 25th, 2008 3:04 pm ET

No matter what he's wearing, he's looking down his nose at people. He doesn't want the NAACP to support him b/c he would seem too black (why black people vote for him anyway, I'm not sure). He's lying and saying he disagreed with the pastor whose church he sat in for 20 years. How much of this stuff are people going to believe? Does he really think voters are that dumb?

There is NOTHING special about Barack Obama.

Vote Hillary!
