Wow. Just wow.
This is hypocrisy at its purest...or should I say grimiest.
Hillary did more than any candidate to bash Obama's head into the ground about this whole Reverend Wright controversy. She has constantly and relentlessly berated Obama for knowing someone who made inflammatory comments all of seven years ago. And now that Wright has come out defending himself, and actually sounding somewhat sane, Hillary wants to play the blame-it-on-the-Republicans,-the-root-of-all-political-evil game. Please, Hillary, you literally make me sick. Wasn't it Martin Luther King, Jr. that said a man should "be judged by the content of his character"? He should not be judged by the character of his friends or the comments that they make; that's something he can't control. Shame, shame, shame. I hope a snake like Hillary never slithers her way into the White House...

Is the reason why people keep saying Obama plays the race card because he is black? He was the one to acknowlegde and campaign on hope for a better future, he's the product of a biracial marriage! Hillary and Bill started playing that card when they realized Obama might acutally have a chance to win. I have no beef with Hillary but it seems strange that she flip-flops when it suits her needs. Especially when it comes to showing Super delegates how she could possibly win ie. popular vote, big states won, blue collar voters . . . it seems like shes grasping for the life jacket that no one is throwing her.

These ads SHOULD be ran. This is the real Obama about to be exposed for what he is and who his friends are. Why shouldn't the voters decide?

Hillary or McCain '08-NEVER OBAMA!!!

This is obviously another tactic. When she steals the nomination from Barack"

stealing the nomination?
And who said that the nomination is granted to someone? It has to be voted for!
Stealing? How ridiculous!

the comments made by Rev. wright today at the Natl press club in DC have more than thrown enough fuel on the flames
---------------
Sure they will. Once you take them out of context. Just like you guys did the 30 seconds out of a 45 minute sermon. The Republicans are masters at this and are getting mad because the Democrats seem to be playing the same game by their rules.

Jon in CA April 28th, 2008 8:15 pm ET
Let's see how much Obama and Hillary do to stop the DNC ads specifically against McCain - distorting his 100 year statement!!!
----------------
That ad is no more of a distortion than the continual looping of 30 seconds of Wright's speech taken out of context. I guess that the Republicans don't realize that the Democrats can play the game as well as they can when they put their minds to it.

So where was Hillary when this ad was first brought to light. We heard McCain "supposedly" criticize the ad, but not Hillary. Now she is trying to make some political hay out of it. How calculating.

just comment to Wright:

I watched partially Wright's speech. He behaves crazy, his way of talking is crazy. I do not know what to think about this person. On one side he made sense, but then in a second he started to shake, jump and changed his way of talking completely. Like he would be pinched by needle.....
He is strange, messed up to my opinion. Cannot stay one way, has to jump there and there in words, and in movements. His body language is crazy. He is crazy. Not quite normal. Weird. Out of sync. Out of balance.
Like a rooster....I do not want to make fun of him, but he does not seem to be balanced.

McCain's just covering his bases - He just looks like he's in on it. IF these ads are run in NC, it will clearly make McCain look like a card-carrying racist after the Wright speeches this week. Not only does Wright have the NAACP behind him, he's got most organized churches behind him as well - black and white. McCain better think twice before he basically allows the ads to be run.

and now she is bashing McCain for attempting to stop negative ads toward Obama?

I've got a feeling that it's going to be McCain/Clinton this fall running against Obama. They both are so desperate to get into that White House it's obvious they'll do anything. Look at McBush; just pay a minute amount of attention how his positions have done a 180 since 2000. If you can't see that your blind. And Billary; when in our political history has a candidate, (Republican OR Democrat), thrown their Party challenger under the opposing Parties bus? Hasn't ever happened until the "take no prisoners" attitude of Billary. This is not what we're about.

To GoHillary

"Let's just hope Michelle doesn't get into the Whitehouse.

Security will have to frisk her every time she leaves to make sure she's not walking out with the SILVER."

What kind of comment is this!! Is that how some of us still think in this country?? Disgusting!

The rest of the world is laughing at us right now..... It laughed at us when we voted for Dubya and it will laugh at us again and pity us when we make such comments and cast our votes based on Paleolithic attitudes like these!

The head of the North Carolina RNC has stated that as of yesterday, they have not recieved so much as a phone call from John McCain concerning this ad. Does this shock anyone? McCains "Straight Talk Express" left the rails a long time ago when it traveled to Jerry Falwells university to get a honorary degree. And it's been chuggin' along willy-nilly since.

Wow - she's gotten pretty good at pretending to be emphathetic. I'm sure she's as disappointed that the ads are running as she is indignant that Florida and Michigan voters are being "disenfranchised".

The ONLY reason she cares all of a sudden is because she needs the votes - so much so that she's already counting the votes in her favor without a legal resolution!

Hillary, Hillary... once a Clinton, always a Clinton.

Yeah, McCain. That's her forte. Knock it off. "I regret the effort (wink, wink).... blah, blah."
And by the way just so one day doesn't get by. What has she or Obama accomplished in Congress? Think hard. You're an ordinary person. How has either had a positive effect on your life?
Chirp, chirp. Ah the sound of crickets.

Well, Stevo, Adams is an Adams, Roosevelt is a Roosevelt, Kennedy is a Kennedy is a Kennedy, Rockefeller is a Rockefeller, Bush is a Bush -- so what! There have been too many "families" in politics for you to begin yelling about a political machine now.

Clinton is the best candidate for the job. You don't vote for a person because of the skin color or the name. You vote for the person that has the best campaign platform. Hillary does.

Sense Obama is a beer drinker while campaigning and that is okay with you, you must have a problem with a beer and whiskey chaser! Or, do you just hate to see a female drinking a whiskey shot? You can't point a finger a one candidate for taking a taste if you don't point out the other as well! Fair is fair!

Clinton is a hypocrite... she gets on my nerves!! She was the one that could not stop talking about Wright. Maybe she forgot. She's just trying to appeal to voters by seeming "nice". How about she stops the Obama-attack-ads of her own!! She is corrupt. Previously I said I would vote for who ever the Dem nominee was... but now.. I don't know, I'm starting to doubt what I'm going to do. I seriously don't like Hillary anymore... I hate her. This is the first time I post this up, but I'm not sure if I'll vote for Hillary should Obama lose. She doesn't deserve the Presidency for playing a power-hungry psychotic lying freak during the entire process!! She doesn't talk politics, she only attacks personally. That's not my kind of President.

All of a sudden she is talking about stopping the ads. "Give Me A Break"! Old Republican Hill-A-Billy needs to stop trying to act concerned. She is not for anyone but herself. She has reverted to her Republican self throughout this campaign. She talks acts and looks like a Republican that is why she said that McCain would be a better President than Senator Obama. She needs to step down/out, off ASAP! I am tired of her and her husband. old Hill-A-Billy needs to go off into the sunset and chew on some straw.

A note to Belle:

We as African Americans are not just supporting Senator Obama because he is black, we support him because we feel he is the better candidate. You comment about him being half black and half white - he's the perfect candidate because he represents the melting pot we call America. Check out Hilliary the Movie on You Tube and see if that answers you questions why some people don't support Senator Clinton.

Unlike many of you Clinton sheep, I pay attention and get my information from multiple sources and for her to come out and say this after she and ALL of her surrogates have OVER and OVER again stated that this was a big story and he should have to answer some questions on it, is absurd to say the least.

Now she is back in "kitchen sink" 101 mode, when in doubt even if you are on tape, blame the Republicans.

Ready to mislead from day one (after a nappy, because she is tired).

Nobody tells Mississippi what to do.

You didn't help us after Katrina, Hillary and that's why we didn't vote for you. Obama shacked up with Rev. Wright for 20 years, and now he must reap what he sowed. And to be honest, McCain can complain or not complain. It will have no effect on the fact that Rev. Wright has brought Obama to his knees.

And to Bill in Albany, NY:
You don't know what the hell you are talking about when it comes to Mississippi.

Hillary shouldn't say anything if defense of Obama. His supporters are so ignorant and biased they will just attack her for it. There is nothing she can say or do that would get fair treatment from fanatics....they are high on kool-aid, and haven't figured out that Hillary is now winning.

When this campaign first began, it did not matter -between clinton and Obama, who would become the nominee. However, as the campaign continued to move along, I began to see a side of hilliary that left a bad taste in my mouth. Consequently, I became an Obama fan. He carries himself in a much more sophisticated manner, is interested in sticking to the issues, and does not engage in juvenile backbiting. I think that he would make a much better President!

I was a Clinton supporter until I started to watch the debates and realized that Hillary is..as she says..."In it to win it" I took it that she is going to win at all costs even if it divides the democratic party. This is sad.....Because what America has to realize is if McCain wins there is no way that we are going to bounce back. His policies are the same merry go round we have been riding for the past 8 years. Enough is enough. It doesn't surprise me that Hillary would now defend Obama to try to act as if she has a human side. Every thing she does and says it is only done for her advantage. And if she "thinks" it would get her one more SD she is going to do it. This is an all time low for her, I actually thought that the "tears" in New Hampshire took the cake. This...wasn't a complete surprise.....She will run our country the same way. She is as trustworthy as a snake.........Hillary YOU should be ASHAMED of yourself!!!!

Pure Clintonian gamesmanship !

The brunt of Hillary's comment is to say, "I'm better than both of you", she gets to once again criticize senator Obama for staying in his church all those years and she makes herself holier than thou with McCain.

So why don't we just forget that Hillary used the Rev. Wright sermon snippets during the debate like a bully pushing Obama to both denounce and reject the comments.

As much as I was in their corner when Bill was being hunted by the "vast right wing conspiracy" ( Hillary's new buddies ), I detest the way she and Bill have handled themselves throughout the primary season.

CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, they'res all keeping this controversy going. They all seem to be on a anti-obama agenda these days. If you are to believe everything that they say, you are either voting for clinton or Mccain.

Hillery's campaign is behind the Rev. Wright controvesy. Some of her supporters had gotten hold of a copy of his cermons and gave it to her for political ammunition, and from there the Republicans now have a copy of it to use to also attack Obama. Clinton is not being honest when she asks that they stop using the clip, because when they use the clip it help her campaign, and it helps Mccains campaign.

Once again, a self-serving, patronizing statement by Senator Clinton, but this time directed against the Republican opponent.

How can she say this with a straight face when her campaign have been wringing every ounce possible from the Wright issue!

Oh. . .I forgot what an actress she is. Unbelievable!!
