Jeremiah 20:7-13
For the uninformed. One thing I know for sure, I will not be taken for granted by the Democtratic Party. The Clinton sect, has turned me off. If Obama is not the Democratic standard bearer, I will vote for local Democrats but not for her as President. If the Super Delegates vote for Clinton, then I will encourage my friends to serious look at a third party for relief. If the Demo's don't want my kind of politics, they don't want me.

How about discussing the poll from last week Thursday or Friday from an Indiana group that indicated Obama would beat McCain by 8 points. Hillary was in a statistical tie with McCain. There are two polls within a span of two days that have two different outcomes. Try to be fair cnn. Obama can use that poll to show he is electable. Lets have accurate and fair reporting.

I will NEVER vote for a Clinton again in my life. They are liars and cheats. I did that twice and all it did was make them rich and the American people worse. I love my party but I will stay home before I would vote for Clinton or McCain.

Who here is surprised that the media focuses on one poll or another to keep the drama and ratings going for this close primary? The same thing happended with PA polls last week. If I were a media exec, I might be tempted to play that game. I'm not mad, they need to make a living too. I just think we have a responsibility as consumers of media to think critically about the stories and polls we see. Fortunately, many people realize that polls can vary based on a lot of factors. These people take time to cross-reference with other sources to get the complete picture. Unfortunately, there are too many people that believe the media, and rhetoric from political candidates for that matter, without further thought or investigation. That's what scares me about the upcoming general election.

Yes, that's if the election were held TODAY. After much negative campaigning by Billary, many people are naturally going to be moving toward McCain. Wait until Obama is the Dem nominee and then see the double-digit advantage he will have over McCain. McCain's age and radical GOP policies are showing. Obama is the ONLY one who represents true CHANGE. Nobody can argue against this fact. When Billary are finally out of the picture, all Democrats will have more hope. I know it's audacious, but there actually is a better, more optimistic, option than Hillary Rodham Clinton. And it's not McCain.

I think whomever you are polling are in error. I believe the Republicans are putting this out there because they KNOW they cannot beat Obama, but that, with all the baggage the Clintons have, and the horrible things that they have been accused of, the finance, whitewater, etc., that they feel that, when they bring all this dirt out again on the Clintons that McCain will have a better chance of beating her. The problem is that the Clintons don't see this and truly as they continue to divide the party, the Democrats will not be able to do much with the Republicans. No matter what they say, this party will never be united, and will lose this chance to take the White House back. The Clintons do not care. Obama does not need to debate her again, folk are tired. Obama has had to hold himself because she is a woman, and can't really say a lot of things out of respect, so if he debates her again, expecially without a moderator, she will never let him finish a sentence, therefore, cutting across him and making it seem as though he is incompetent.

Mike - Texas April 28th, 2008 2:12 pm ET

That's not news, we've known that for a long time.

Hillary actually has some substance behind her proposals and all OBama has is a lot of hot air about "hope" and "change" but no substance on how that is going to happen.

Change for change's sake is NEVER good.

I'm with you Mike, saw him on FOX last night and he had ZERO solutions just wants to listen to the voters; nobody in Washington listens.

Tell me something I didn't know......Clinton would by far be the best person to lead this country to a new start. She's right....change is something that just doesn't happen (like Obama thinks)....it takes hard work and years of dedication. Obama is naive.

This is completely irresponsible. Everyone but everyone is following Real Clear Politics this year, which averages out the polls and in which Obama has been faring better than Clinton against McCain for months. Today this one new poll (which looks like an outlier) has thrown that off slightly and for the first time. I am astounded that CNN is reporting it the way it is. Obama remains the front-runner and will more than likely both win the nomination and beat McCain. Why in the world did CNN run this story?

did you poll anyone under 25? How about African Americans? This is more disillusioning then when Bush won in 2004. One of these days I really am going to have to leave behind this stupid, stupid population of morons.

The only way Sen Clinton or Sen Obama will be able to win against Sen McCain if people will stop seperating the Democratic party.

What can the Democrats do? Stop saying if Clinton win, they will vote for McCain, and the same if Obama wins.

This will be the only way we will Democrats will win the White House.

Hillary's baggage yet

the moment she get's the nomination

travelgate

emails about her having Vince Foster killed will start up

impeachment

almost being indicted in travelgate

intimidating Bill Clinton's woman ' Bimbo Erruptions' etc

her Cattle trading

I am an Obama supporter and do not believe any polls that can believe Hillary can beat John McCain. Unbelievable that people are even considering another Republican to office after the eight years of the current administration, paying $14 for 20 lbs of rice and $3.81 per gallon of unleaded gas. People wake up...vote Obama.

The polls show the upswing of her PA victory. It is only April. After May 6, you will see a decline.

Lets be real for a moment. I hear solutions of America. I hear I will fight for you. I hear I am not a quiter. Why don't we have universal health care? The fighter with solutions did not get it done.

She is doing well by dividing the Democratic party. Blue Collar vs African Americans. Poor vs Elite. You need them all to win. She has set herself up for failure because her enemies are waiting. They want another shot at Clinton.

As a life-long liberal democrat, who has voted for the democrat nominee in every election for several decades, if Billary gets the nod by the party, I WILL NOT VOTE this time around and McBush will win the election. I guarantee it. If Obama gets the nod, I will not only vote, I will donate time and money to his campaign and he will win. I guarantee that, too.

I wonder who asked for/paid for these polls. This is the first poll, in months, that has shown her above Obama against McCain, and she's above by 9 points? I would seriously want to see the methodology that the AP and Ipsos used, as well as whether AP reporters have given to the Clinton campaign recently. Special Interests in the Press? Naaah, that would never happen.

The sad part is, she has succeeded in dirtying up Obama to make herself look better little does she know that she just handed McCain the presidency in the process. Hillary is so blinded by her self centeredness that she can’t see the damage done to Obama, the DEM party or USA for that matter. It’s sad that she controls the media by telling them what to think and say and to top it off smack in your face America this elitist self is telling Americans you are not smart enough to figure it out let me define Obama for you “he’s not what you think he is”. Do any of you ever expect her to say anything good about Obama. Wakeup America!!

that depends on what poll you look at. cnn has a habit of picking and choosing the polls that will give it the best headline. rasmussen tracking poll today has obama beating hillary by 8 points (u won't see that on cnn...not sensational enough). rasmussen also has obama tied with mc cain and mc cain beating hillary by 3 points. i'm dissapointed in cnn and their manipulation of facts into sensationalism that isn't necessarily accurate.

Whatever... the powers that be finally realized Hillary isn't going to win and are now focusing their media agents against the candidate the people want.

The only losers here are us b/c we chose against Hillary months ago (popular vote in legit states) and now we're going to get McCain no matter who the Dem is because the Clintons have soiled both themselves and Obama beyond salvage.

Just know this if Hillary Clinton steals this from Obama you might as well not count the Black vote.We represent over 50% of the voters in the Dem Party and you better start worrying about that instead of those so call blue collar workers.

This is a good one, on the par with her sniperfire stories.
But with our great MSM, you know the ones; they gave us WMDs in Iraq. They gave us Iraq's Al-Qaeda connections. They will give us the shirt off our backs -- when it has been worn out with our sweat making the bastards richer. But they won't give us aqnything like a real issue or the truth about anything.
Goebbels is so envious! He never dreamed any nation could be so manipulated by lies.

Any democrat has a better or "best" shot at defeating John McCain. But Hillary has defeated her "best" shot at defeating John McCain. Obama undoubtedly has the best of all.

I guess she would win considering that there are those who don't have the common sense to know that Obama is running for president and not Rev. Wright. People should have the common sense to separate a politician from a minister. If they put Hillary up you can count on many african americans staying home only because she can't just win by the white votes alone. She'll need the African American votes to help her win.

Lets be honest, regardless of who is the Dem nominee, he/she will win the GE over McCain - which is 5 1/2 months away - good reason not to read to much into the polls.

Ask any Republican, and they will remind you that nothing will broing th eRep. party together like Hillary Clinton for president! They will kil themselves trying to get to the polls to vote against her. They dont have to try to bring up dirt on her, they have a full closet...waiting if she gets the nomination. A SURE defeat in November. I wont vote for her...
