(CNN) – North Carolina Gov. Mike Easley will endorse Hillary Clinton's White House bid, two sources close to the campaign tell CNN.
The endorsement could give the New York senator a boost in the state with one week to go until its crucial May 6 primary. Recent polling suggests Barack Obama currently holds a double-digit lead over Clinton there, though no polls have been released since Clinton’s win in Pennsylvania last week.
Easley is also a superdelegate - one of the party's nearly 800 insiders who will determine which candidate wins the Democratic nomination. Earlier Monday, the Obama campaign announced it had picked up its own superdelegate endorsement, New Mexico Sen. Jeff Bingaman.

This should help Hillary in NC just like Rendell did in PA. It's good some people are starting to see the light. With Rev. Not So Wright stealing the headlines from Obama all week and the endorsement by Easley, there is not telling what can happen. If she pulls it close in NC then it's over for NObama.
Well the Governer might be supporting Hillary, but the Mayor of Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and Pittsboro are all supporting Obama!!!!
There is a growing concern on Sen. Clinton's alleged affair with her aid Ms. Huma Abedin. It was on tabloids over the weekend and in the internet all over. I would like to know whether it is true or not. This is fundamental to her values and what she stands for. There is nothing wrong with it. But I think the American people should to know the truth.
It would be nice to know the story behind this.$$$$$$$$$ no doubt.We will see if the Ed Randell effect works .

This man knows who the best candidate is for the run to the White House. I was reading a newspaper this weekend, and a columnist said that all black people should vote for Obama because he was black. The writer also said that he liked Hillary Clinton and felt she has good plans for the presidency. So, if we put race totally aside, then Hillary is the best candidate. Super delegates should put race aside and step forward. Vote Hillary!

Way to go Governor, America respects your decision even though the polls show Hillary behind in your state. This is a true man and not a Politician like another Governor(Richardson) we know all to well.

Thank you for your courage and foresight Governor Easley. With Hillary we have a chance in November of taking back the White House. With Obama we have none. Now if Elizabeth and John Edwards follows suit, maybe we take both Indiana and NC for Hillary. Hopefully the rest of the superdelegates will follow your lead and we will finally have a nominee we can support in the General Election.

As the NC primary approaches, the endorsement of Hillary by Governor Easley is, definitely, a PLUS for the Hillary campaign! This is an additional evidence that Hillary has the political momentum.
I also hope that Easley's endorsement will synergize with John Edwards' endorsement of Hillary!

ANY SUPERDELEGATE THAT THROW THEIR SUPPORT BEHIND HILLARY AT THIS POINT IS CALLING IN OLD FAVORS BECAUSE THEY CAN'T POSSIBLY HAVE THE PARTIES BEST INTREST AT HEART.
