Sources: North Carolina governor to back Clinton

(CNN) – North Carolina Gov. Mike Easley will endorse Hillary Clinton's White House bid, two sources close to the campaign tell CNN.

The endorsement could give the New York senator a boost in the state with one week to go until its crucial May 6 primary. Recent polling suggests Barack Obama currently holds a double-digit lead over Clinton there, though no polls have been released since Clinton’s win in Pennsylvania last week.

Easley is also a superdelegate - one of the party's nearly 800 insiders who will determine which candidate wins the Democratic nomination. Earlier Monday, the Obama campaign announced it had picked up its own superdelegate endorsement, New Mexico Sen. Jeff Bingaman.

    What a dumb decision!

Hillary is DISHONEST AND UNTRUSTWORTHY! Hillary is the least favorable candidate! To support Clinton in this POINTLESS race is to help Republicans to win in November!

Soon Easley will regrete this decision!

For your information – I haven't seen any ads that Easley is running for Governor again. Do the research yourselves. I do, because the pundits only say what will boost their ratings. I'll research for myself only, not the "talking heads".

The Governor has just been intimidated by the Republican Party’s decision to run the Rev. Wright add connecting his challengers to Obama. He just mistakenly got scared to his political downfall because it shows he’s a puppet. The overwhelming reasonable citizens of North Carolina who know better than be scared off the best hope that has come along after such a long time will surprise the Governor.

A.Pinto: People have been trying for years to pin some sordid sort of affair on Hillary and always come up empty handed. Right now, many want to know about the relationship between Obama and Larry Sinclair. That's one tasty tidbit that has not been explored in depth yet. But, if Obama becomes the nominee, the Reps will uncover that relationship in a New York minute.

I saw on the front page of the National Inquirer yesterday that Michelle Obama walked out on O because of cheating. Do you see ME with no ammunition here except some sleazy rag article? Grow up!.
