Clinton, Obama dead even for fifth straight day

Obama and Clinton are locked in a dead heat.
Obama and Clinton are locked in a dead heat.

(CNN) - For the fifth straight day, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are statistically tied in Gallup's national tracking poll, the latest indication the Democratic stalemate shows no signs of ending four months after the primary season began.

Clinton holds a one point lead over Obama in Tuesday's tracking poll - a statistical tie, given the poll's 3 point margin of error. In the last five days, the two candidates have either been exactly tied or separated by only one point.

That trend marks a clear departure from the weeks before the Pennsylvania primary, during which Obama almost consistently held a wide lead over Clinton. Meanwhile, the five-day tie is one of the few times all year in which the two candidates have been deadlocked for more than two days.

Polls, polls, polls! They really do not matter anymore. It is not about if but about when Obama will be officially the nominee. Sorry Clinton! Game is over!

Maybe now that Senator Obama has so definatively toss the Reverend Wright to the curb we can get back to the business of getting Obama elected (and find Senator Clinton her own seat on the curb)!!!

Yeah, he will probably be the nominee, but he'll loose the general. That's the sad truth.

Thanks to the news media you have put Rev. Wright on the map. You have given Rev. Wright more publicity and more notoriety than ever before. We wouldn't have known that a Rev. Wright even existed. You have increased his popularity by running your videos of the man. We the voters are so sick of seeing Rev. Wright in the news that we could vomit Rev. Wright.

WRIGHT, TONY RESKO WHO IS NOW TIED IN WITH KARL ROVE, NOT TO MENTION THAT OBAMA IS AGAINST ROLLING BACK FEDERAL TAXES ON GAS TO HELP THE PEOPLE. LIKE HE SAID HE WAS AGAINST THE WAR, AND THEN SAID IF HE HAD BEEN IN THE SENATE AND READ ALL OF THE LIES TO GO TO WAR HE DON'T KNOW HOW HE WOULD OF VOTED. HE IS NOT PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL. GO AWAY OBAMA FAR AWAY.

Did Obama look out at America and see "Stupid" stamped across all of our foreheads?
Obama thinks that we don't know why he is denouncing his pastor. He threw his grandmother under the bus to make an interesting speech. He chose that church to get into an African American church. Now he is cutting ties with his longtime friend and mentor, Jeremiah Wright.
The things Wright has said in the last few days are the same types of things he said on the videotapes we have seen. Of course, Obama has heard these things. He was a member of Wright's church when Louis Farrakhan was given a lifetime achievement award. Did Obama step forward and oppose that?
Do anything you can if you think it will help you win, Barrack. That's what this is all about. And we are NOT too stupid to see through you!

Watch out Michelle. If you say anything else that hurts his campaign, you may be next.

The saddest part of this poll is that this is all the democrats can choose from. There are so many better candidates that would more interested in the common person than either of these candidates.

I see qualities that I like in both candidates, Hillary & Obama. I have contributed money to both Hillary & Obama's campaign. In November I will vote for whoever is the democratic nominee. I usually vote for the candidate I like the most.

She indeed is Clown Hillary, head of the Clinton freak show, waiting and fighting to bring the best 'reality' show on earth back to the White House. Think of all the rooms Bill has yet to have an adventure in. Can't wait.....NOT

People have forgotten about her experiences like Bosnia sniper fire, tax returns, WH Diary, Clinton Library's donors list etc. Even with the Rev Wrigth issue, she can't pull away from Obama. Why? Too much baggage (60%). I think she needs to drop out now.

great! keep it up Hillary. We need you very much to remove the deadlocks in politics. At any cost we can't even imagine to have a unknown president like Obama to rule world's most powerful country. How can people vote for him? He is not only unexperienced, but also confused in his talks, have bad link with former paster, having no knowledge of foreign pilicy, no active participation in social works... countless things.........
If he is nomited for President, then only God can save US.

People are starting to see straight through Senator Obama because Rev. Wright. You can't love Rev. Wright love him for saying one thing and then be "outraged" over another.

    1. Didn't Obama write his book Audacity of hope based on one of Wright's sermons?

    2. If Wright is so called from the "old division" of race...why has it taken 20 years for Obama to see Wright's true colors? You cannot tell me that for 20 years, Obama has never seen this behavior.

    3. Obama said he's never heard or seen Wright act or say these things in all the time that he has known him. Ok, we believe you Obama. So are you saying a senior, retired pastor, that has had years and years of seasoning his beliefs and values about America and Christianity is all of a sudden turning into a hateful, outrageous man? Oh wait, I guess he did once your campaign started picking up speed. *end sarcasm*

    4. Isn't Wright Obama's spiritual and religious mentor? When most people have a mentor, they love and admire them for their ENTIRE being, not just a part of them. Obama can no longer give us the same excuses no more.

    Hillary 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please let no one repeat this worn down line about why BO was in his church for 20 years:

How can he sit in church for 20 years and listen to this man. WE all do this every week. Catholics listening to priests that are rumored and later confirmed as pedophiles. Christians listening to controversial pastors. We all take the best and feed spiritually and sometimes leave behind a few of the social stuff.

By the way, Wright was not saying the stuff of the past 3 days (and not all was bad) for 20 x 52 weeks x 60 minutes. The worst of his previous statements ere condensed in 2 minutes.

Anyway its over. Wright is not BO!

Dead even .. but all the liberal effete still clamor for Hillary to drop out. I can gaurantee they will bring up math.... but neither candidate has enough delegates to win outright. so....... they say, do it for the good of the party... I am not interested in the pity party, I am interested in the good of America. Hillary is not the best candidate we have had, but she is the best we have now (between her , mccain, and obama).

  23. 2 More Super Delegates for Obama on 4/29

Kentucky Rep. Chandler and Iowa DNC member Machaceck announce support for the Land of Lincolner.

Chandler provides key support in Kentucky, where Obama is relatively weak. Its primary is May 20.

Machaceck is the fifth of Iowa’s 12 superdelegates to endorse Obama; Clinton has three.

Hunter I agree! The only thing I disagree with you on is that the Clintons had any dignity or respect in the first place! Bill tarnished the presidency getting sexual favors in the oval office and then they took the white house furniture and countless gifts when they left – not to mention pardoned several of the underground weatherman. C'mon people how can anyone respect these two losers!! GO GO GO OBAMA!!!!!

  25. Hooray for Hillary!!!

How many more of your relatives can you throw under that bus, Obama? First typical White grandma, now your crazy uncle – who's next? Getting a little crowded under there

But at least I FINALLY figured out what Obama means by "change": it means changing his mind whenever he thinks it benefits him politically.

First Obama didn't hear Wright, then he did, then Wright was his beloved uncle, now he's throwing him under the bus, just like typical White grandma. God, he'll run out of relatives before this thing is over
