I love the wisdom of the "Uncle Sam" posts.

This one was too complex for the smart and educated Obama supporters to grasp... so I am reposting it to give them another crack at informed reasoning.

Uncle Sam April 29th, 2008 1:45 pm ET

True believers in an Obama presidency are prepared to support their candidate regardless of the growing number of questions being raised about him. They would have us believe that everything we need to know about Barack Obama can be found on his website or in his autobiography. Only what Obama tells us about himself is to be believed. Anything else is a manufactured political distraction. So what are you going to believe - the Obama script or your lying eyes?

Change you can believe in…….change I can believe in…….

Clinton supporters,

Don't you ever ask yourselves why the GOP is running ads against Obama? They want Hillary to win the nomination. Then all the skeletons Obama has kindly left undisturbed in her closet will come toppling out. Between her confrontational personality and her legacy of lies and scandals, she is simply not electable. If you want to end Bush policies, it's time to let go of your racial fears and embrace Obama as the Democratic candidate.

Wow, it'd be interesting to see what the difference would be if the media did it's job for the better part of the past year and actually released the true information along time ago about the messiah-wannabe, BHO.

Bonn............ the Clintons didnt seek out Rev. Wright for anything, they had a prayer breakfast at the White House, which they do every year, and hundreds of religious people from all over the country get invited.
That's how Reb Wright ended up in those photos. The Clintons did not even know him, or I'm sure he would not have been invited.

Isn't strange how Obama is "angry" today and not yesterday about Rev. Wright's comments? It was only last night the panel on CNN strongly suggested that Obama has to show anger in an attempt to make this debacle go away. I hope Americans are not so naive.

Bon writes:........."The Clintons sought out Rev. Wright's counseling during the Monica Lewinsky ordeal. Surely the Rev. can't be that bad……can he????"

Where did you get that idea, Bon?? The Clintons sought out Billy Graham for counseling. I think one instance was found where Clinton had his pic taken with Wright at some sort of meeting, just as Clinton has had his pic taken with thousands and thousands of people. Doesn't mean he even knew who Wright was, and certainly not that they were even acquaintances, let alone friends.

There's no accounting for the general lack of intelligence of the American people...as an ad writer, I'm constantly reminded to "dumb down" my messages to a 7th grade mentality.

Not because that's ALL that American's are...but because that's where the AVERAGE lies. A national 7th grade mentality.

Hillary Clinton's base, her constituency is far more representative of the American's bringing down the bell curve. THIS is not a criticism--every person deserves to be heard---however, don't we think it's about time we tried to elevate the game of our leadership? Don't we think it's time we demanded more serious insight from every American?

I want someone smarter than most of us. I want someone who doesn't feel the need to resort to the same old, same old to get things done. I want a leader who represents what we could be one day. I don't want to have a beer with the President--I want him or her to represent our better Angels--to be a beacon of hope instead of fear, fear-mongering or blatant pandering to our more animal instincts.

Because things AREN'T getting done, folks...and no matter how smart or dumb you are--America KNOWS something is deeply broken here.

Electing the same kind of people for the same failed reasons and somehow expecting things to CHANGE...well? That is the height of ignorance.

Hillary Clinton and John McCain are, sadly, more of the same. More of what got us here in the first place. Wake up, people. Before it's too late. Hope is possibility, you know.

Nothing like picking and choosing which poll to use to make sensational headline. Why not use the Rasmussen Reports Poll that shows that Barack Obama is ahead 49 to 41 and has maintained that consistantly for a few weeks? Why not include the following information from Rasmussen Reports?-----

"Obama’s ratings are now 52% favorable and 45% unfavorable. His numbers are improving among Democrats.

For Clinton, the reviews are 45% favorable, 54% unfavorable"

We all know independents vote Republican! There is nothing independent about that.

Its funny how the Obama supporters say the election is over but neither can Obam reach 2025 delegates so let the last nine states vote and beginning of June one of the two will have to drop and let the superdelegates do their job.

Am I sensing panic from the Obama people??

Obama just made a fatal mistake with his handling of Rev. Wright. His actions over the past few months on the issue of Rev. Wright have run from Denying there was a problem, through Denouncing his words, to now just plain Upset over the words his Mentor has said about him.

Pick something and stick with it, Obama! Is he your Mentor, your Religious Campaign leader or just your version of Bill Clinton? Your actions in this matter show that you just don't have a handle on your campaign.

Simply saying,
Wynter

Given enough time his own words will continue to show people what he really stands for and bring his number even lower. Either Clinton will come out ahead or McCain will win the Presidency over him. Either way, Obama has no chance of being the next President's as more people see him for who he is truly is.

Gallup is the ONLY poll where Hillary is close.

Rasmussen has Obama up 8 and all of the others have him up at least 3. The RCP average is Obama +5.

The only math that matters right now does NOT look good for Hillary!

There is no legitimate path to the nomination, but because the Clinton's are such gangsters...she can slways steal it!

I can't believe that some people still want a Bush/Clinton family dynasty led by such crooked people. We may as well be in Cuba!

Obama 08!

Hillary is the best candidate.Period.

As for the press conferance with about Wright. Obama still shows he lacks judgement. He stayed in that church for over 20 years, he still attends that church. Wright is still involved with that church. This man did not become a nut over night and if Obama didnt know about his comments, its shows poor judgement on his part. Plus, he lied about it and is now trying to distract us. Michelle Obama seems to be the one influenced most by Wright, look at some of her comments and her college thesis and you can see it. Michelle will be Baracks ear in the white house and I feel they have both been influenced by Wright to a degree. Obama is playing polltics with this and its now back firing.

Do some research and don't lose focus that Obama knew very well what Wright was all about, but still kept him close. No press conferance and back peddeling will change that. Period.

This is called a democracy and it is good for our country. We have two good candidates running for the nomination. I am a Hillary supporter and proud to be one, too. Why do some of you have to be so disrespectful to the Clintons. They have done more for our country than all of you put together. Stop the hyperboles and including everyone in your opinion, since it is not a fact. Hillary is someone who will fight for the American people. She has done it in the past for children and will continue to do it for everyone. Obama is my second choice, but as you notice I do not have to write rude remarks. It is called being mature.

I hope nobody really puts too much stock in this poll. It will absolutely change right after next Tuesday when Obama wins North Carolina by a decisive margin and the Indiana contest goes either way razor thin.

The PA victory has allowed Hillary a little boost in this matchup but it won't stay that way.

As a Canadian, I hope the American people wake up and do what is right. For 8 long years your allies have had to put up with being talked down to or bullied by Bush. It is time that you elect someone who can heal the damage that Bush has caused to once great frienships. You can see by their words, actions and the way they carry themselves that McCain and Clinton are going to be exactly the same as Bush. Obama's quiet strength, and diplomatic qualities is what your nation and allies need to get us through the troubling events that face our world.
When Obama talks, he always says "we". When McCain and Clinton talk they always say "I". "I" is not going to change things, but maybe "we" can.

To Obama supporters!
It's sad to explain people abt what's main difference between Obama & Clinton. He is not at all comparable with Hillary. She worked for 80 nations, countless social works, foreign pilicies, more than decades of political knowledge. And Obama……..shame…just making people fool just by giving a pseudo imaginary hope deam…..Does he alone change the US? No, can't.because he is a part of US politics.where he has to work with his super delegates, and domecratic members……so how does he make a difference….? Can he leave his super delegates? No, he can't………and most of super delegates will use him to get many undue previleges……..so how can he make a difference……..
Just imagine, whole world is dependent on US policies, economy…..If US is under some unexp guy, then how can he run world's toughest job at whitehouse?
It's know to us that he is comfortable to reply to questions, even felt irritated to argue with journalists? If that's his patienece level, then how can we expect Obama to lead that toughest job……..am in doubt……..
Obama is leading just becoz of balck voters and most of young………So what's his social image among supporters? He brought racisim in this race…….so just forget him………….
Just think of Hillary………a great women with huge potential and sensitivity……

Chris, you have to bring people together in order to get anything done. Hillary's campaign so far has been "divide and conquer". We are not electing a queen. Give Obama more credit. He continually fights the odds and admits mistakes. Hillary knows policies and she is promising everything. Does she forget this is not a Kingdom but a democracy? Come on now! We are just getting over King George and now you want Queen Hillary. You are blinded by your lust.

Most everyone I know is going Hillary, Obama said " Wright is Like an Uncle to Him" and lets face it, we don't need a Farakon Deciple in the

This is pure political expediency...Obama is a Rap Artist, with a more

If a nominee doesn't emerge soon, we will be doomed to live with a Republican president for another 4 years.
Every democrat that I know says that if Clinton gets the nom, they're voting republican.
4 more years in Iraq? Sure our tax base can support it.
Get out and vote!

Hillary, from doing everything from subverting the democratic process (in the Democratic party!) to agreeing to appear on O'Reilly, is demonstrating an absence of ethics that threatens to destroy the party and hurt the country. Act, superdelegates, act!

Keep it up Hillary!!

You know i'm fed up with all you Obama supporters taking this whole campaign so bloody personal.

it almost seems like you're getting paid by this Divisive man to badly insult not only Clinton, but everyone else supporting her.

Not even Clinton supporters act as badly towards Obama.

You all sound like little evil children, who can't get their way in the playground, so they bicker and hurt people.

If that's the kind of change Obama is talking about - i.e. division amongst Americans, then i want nothing to do with it - that's the last thing this country needs

Not like i ever wanted anything to do with Obama, but all this just confirms that Hillary is our best option.
Not for personal reason (like you Obamafans tend to take things) but for the sake of my nation and its prosperity.

Go Hillary!!

More Delegates + More States Won + More Votes = NOMINEE

Those are the rules Hillary agreed to last year.

LET'S BE HONEST HERE: Hillary didn't care about the people of FL and MI last year when SHE AGREED to not counting them. She now only wants them because she needs the votes and Barack wasn't on the ballot in MI. (And she still didn't get 50% of the vote...lame). She doesn't care about the people in the 35 states she lost, the states with caucuses, the black vote. the young vote, or the majority of the newly registered democrats. As she said, "The way I count, I'm ahead."

(And by the way, Bill didn't get elected by winning the white vote...he lost them...he won with the black vote...look it up!)

I remain loyal and supportive of Barack Obama. From the first time I heard the man speak in ILL., I felt he was destine for " GREATNESS " and I still do. Our country is in serious shape and change needs to happen.

I have to wonder about Obama, what is going on with him. His spiritual advisor and friend for twenty long years really does not seem to support Obama at all. Is he really trying to warn americans about Obama. It seems to me that he will do anything to make sure Obama is not president. Why would he do that. Does he know something that we don't about Obama. I must say Rev. Wright is who he is...like him or not. He seems to be true to himself , unlike Obama who is Rev Wright's friend one moment then comes out and speaks about him negatively. I don't trust Obama. He is a scared little puppy now and will say anything to get elected now. Obama....drop out now. You can not be trusted!

Thank goodness, some of the cool aid drinkers and 18 to 25 year old "teenyboppers" are starting to figure out that Obama has a LOT of problems that we haven't seen a tenth of yet. Hopefully they will keep surfacing and people will realize Hillary is our only hope. GO, HILLARY!!

Obama's just following Karl Rove's advice. Seriously, read Rove's column. He says to do exactly this. They think that he's wounded and want to go against him now. Crafty Right Wing.

Obama is a good man, a good leader. Hillary? I do not know. Too many lies by her and her friends in the last few months have made me very confused.

Tie? I have 20 yrs education. I do not get it. Lies destroy friendship. Lies destroy a family. Lies destroy a country. Stop lies. Tell the nation the truth.

Sen. Obama, win or lose in this election, you are a winner. You are a decent human being, a winner forever. Skin color does not matter to me. What matter is your character, your heart, your brain.

Why do you only report the polls that best support Hillary? Yesterday and today you report Gallup's polls while the equally relevant Rasmussen polls show Obama with and 8 point lead. This is an obvious bias CNN. Shame on you.

To Obama supporters!
It's sad to explain people abt what's main difference between Obama & Clinton. He is not at all comparable with Hillary. She worked for 80 nations, countless social works, foreign pilicies, more than decades of political knowledge. And Obama........shame...just making people fool just by giving a pseudo imaginary hope deam.....Does he alone change the US? No, can't.because he is a part of US politics.where he has to work with his super delegates, and domecratic members......so how does he make a difference....? Can he leave his super delegates? No, he can't.........and most of super delegates will use him to get many undue previleges........so how can he make a difference........
Just imagine, whole world is dependent on US policies, economy.....If US is under some unexp guy, then how can he run world's toughest job at whitehouse?
It's know to us that he is comfortable to reply to questions, even felt irritated to argue with journalists? If that's his patienece level, then how can we expect Obama to lead that toughest job........am in doubt........
Obama is leading just becoz of balck voters and most of young.........So what's his social image among supporters? He brought racisim in this race.......so just forget him.............
Just think of Hillary.........a great women with huge potential and sensitivity......

The scary thing is that only today is he outraged by Wright, not months ago when Wright said all the quotes we've heard played on the news over and over. The real reason Obama is doing this now is that he is realizing that this drowning his campaign. This is quintessential politics doing whatever is necessary to maintain power. It will be very interesting to see what Wright says in response to Obama's denouncements today.

I'm so sick of Obama supporters saying Hillary Clinton can't win. News Flash: Obama cannot win either. Does that register? Neither Clinton nor Obama have the delegate votes to win.

Clinton will lead in the popular vote if Michigan and Florida are counted. Obama wants to hold onto legalities to block those votes. Clinton has ballots from real voters. The superdelagates will decide the nominee - and they will need to weigh the voice of the people, even those that the Obama campaign wants to muzzle.
