The Rev. Jeremiah Wright couldn't have done more damage to Barack Obama's campaign if he had tried. And you have to wonder if that's just what one friend of Wright wanted.

Shortly before he rose to deliver his rambling, angry, sarcastic remarks at the National Press Club Monday, Wright sat next to, and chatted with, Barbara Reynolds.

A former editorial board member at USA Today, she runs something called Reynolds News Services and teaches ministry at the Howard University School of Divinity. (She is an ordained minister).

It also turns out that Reynolds – introduced Monday as a member of the National Press Club "who organized" the event – is an enthusiastic Hillary Clinton supporter

The Rocky Balboa analogy didn't work in Philly, where it could have made sense. It could't make sense in North Carolina. I like the analogy myself, because this is Hillary's first fight for the Presidency; in Rocky's first fight for the title, though he is persistent, he still loses.

If we are true Americans who is not racial, have some sense of fairness and dignity then we will look beyond racial line and vote for a presidential candidate who will restore this country’s lost pride and moral standing in the world that has be so damaged for the last 15 years.

I said 15 years because Mr. Clinton did significant damage to thing country also with Nafta and his deplorable acts in the Oval office. How can we stomach putting a former president that was impeached back in the white house as an advisor to the president?

Nafta and other similar trade deals not only took jobs out of the country.. It took with it the manufacturing skills and made us a dependant nation… wake up America…

Great endorsement.! You know why its true, the Obama supporters are ranting, raving and howling. I have some more good news for them, new Survey USA Indiana poll out today and it has Hillary at 52% and Obama at 43%, with 2% unsure and 3% for others. That is a 9 point lead and she is going to whip him there just like she did in Pennsylvania. The more we learn about Obama the worst it gets. The Washington Post reported over the weekend how, as a state senator, he tried to help a supporter and former employer get a tourism contract. Well, so much for hope and change, this along with all the other things that are swirling around his head,such as Wrightgate, bittergate, Ayersgate and handgungate, maybe its time for him to call it quits.

If Hillary does not win the Democratic nomination, many will vote for McCain (I certainly will). It is not a question of party loyalty, but a question of national loyalty. The left wing media just does not get it, Obama can be the nominee, and he will lose by a wide margin. Do you really think that the GOP cross over voters are going to vote for him in November? They just voted for him to get of Hillary. The GOP wants Obama because they will trounce him over his ties with lobbyists, his pastor, his speeches with no specific plans, and his inability to win the big states. It took me less than 30 seconds to Google the name of the pastor and find out that he has been called "a former Clinton pastor" because he was a pastor in the town of Clinton, NY (named for George Clinton, first governor of the state of NY). There is no connection whatsoever between the man you wrote about and either Senator Clinton or President Clinton. You are unbelievably stupid.

It doesn't matter. I'm starting to believe the superdelegates are loving this game. They want to be in control and feel they have all the power. The lies that people are waiting to see what happens June 3rd is ridiculous. When Obama won 11 straight victories, the people spoke then who they believed to be the better candidate, but the superdelegates sat on their behinds and allowed the media to take over the campaigns. I sat last night and all the news stations showed 6 straight hours of Rev. Wright. I was shocked Anderson Cooper said "Obama is having a rally now and we're going to monitor it to see if he says anything about Rev. Wright".....I like Anderson, but why didn't Roland or anyone else step up and say, wait a minute why aren't we waiting to hear him talk about the issue. This is what this campaign has turned into "a media frenzy"....If you dont like Obama than don't vote for him, but dont make your decision based on the media's perspective or rev. wright or a flagpin, but that you believe he's not the better candidate....I had my turn to vote and it was exciting and I feel for those who haven't voted yet, but at the same time, this has become a circus....NC and Indiana please go to the polls and shut this thing down, so Obama can do what he does best, Unite the People and the states and concentrate on the real election and beat McCain.

No shocker here, I would say "Popular Governor" is a great overstatement though, last I checked his approval ratings were in the low 40's!
