Obama adds a third new superdelegate in 24 hours

The Iowa representative announced his support for Obama Wednesday.
The Iowa representative announced his support for Obama Wednesday.

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Iowa Rep. Bruce Braley will endorse Illinois Sen. Barack Obama for president Wednesday, the fifth Democratic superdelegate to choose sides in less than 24 hours, an Obama aide confirms to CNN.

Braley, a first-term congressman who represents an eastern district that hugs the Illinois border, had originally backed John Edwards in the race for the Democratic nomination. He joins fellow Iowan and Democratic National Committee member Richard Machacek in publicly declaring his support for Obama this week. Machacek and Kentucky Rep. Ben Chandler both said Tuesday they were backing Obama, while North Carolina Gov. Mike Easley and Missouri Rep. Ike Skelton endorsed New York Sen. Hillary Clinton the same day.

Braley’s decision to support Obama was first reported Wednesday morning by the Des Moines bureau of the Associated Press.

Drop by drop, the superdelegates keep making the right choice. That shows that Clinton can not buy superdelegates by throwing cocktail parties every week. Go democracy!

This must make the queen furious!!!!!! Even after all of this Wright stuff, the super D's can still see through the bull. Obama will be the Nom in June, the math is against the queen. I am really hoping that next week will be the nail in her campaign. She will only futher divide us if this thing countines. But history has shown us how low the queen can go, so I hope Obama is ready for anything from her camp. Please IN, vote for Obama. You alone have this power to finially stop the queen's attack on the poor and uneducated who do not know better about how she really is.

I observe CNN everyday, Now I think, Its just Hillary coverage. No more Obama. Obama will be on TV only if it is on Wright or Some thing to pull him down. Common you guys, Behave atleast like an educated people.
Only way is to solve the issue, just let Hillary go home. Otherwise, The country will be divided like in old days.

I'm not surprised, another first-term guy. as in inexperienced. Obama gets alot of the new elite congressman and women. He must be part of Obamas friends? the far left, radical arrogant intellectuals. who joins with Pelosi to try and put MR.AND MRS WE HATE AMERICA in the white house.

OR maybe Braley needed the 19,000 to pay off his credit cards?
    Obama buys the SD

I hope when he does that Hillary and Lou Dobbs join together and start a new party. because for all the dirt Hillary takes we KNOW she is NOT ANTI-AMERICA!!!~

Twice, Barack Obama has faced the people of the United States dealing with crisis.
Twice, Barack Obama has shown the people of the United States that he can handle crisis eliquently and diplomatically in a timely fashion.
It astounds me that Hillary Clinton and her supporters have given her the title, "fighter". When faced with questions about her character or integrity she does one of two things:
    1. cackles directly at the camera or
    2. has her husband lecture the media about "politics of pile on"

Leaders lead by example. Superdelegates know this. Hillary has had ample opportunity to answer questions about Mark Penn, Columbia, NAFTA and Peter Paul. She chooses not too...
John Kerry did the same thing.
And we ALL know what happened to John Kerry.

This guy understands that America needs a uniter, not a fighter. A fighter in the White House will cause the world to fight back and to fight American interests. A tough Hillary fighting policy will isolate the US again.

Now with the Rev. Wright situation effectively behind him, the superdelegates will be flooding out for Barack whether he loses in Indiana or not. He is on his way and there is nothing that's going to stop him!

Obama is getting closer to the nomination now. He just needs a few more to win this thing.

COUNT DOWN: TOTAL of 287 delegates remaining to get the nomination!!!

How many will Obama get for Indiana & NC?

It took America and the typically slow media, 5 days at the most to discern Rev Wright's character, to know his political positions and to understand his agenda.

What does it say about Barack Obama's judgement, that he was unable to make the discernment in 20 years time?

And Obama brags about his judgement.

Why suddenly Obama, refutes what Rev. Wright preaches? Why did Obama & his family stay in Rev. Wrights' church for twenty years?

Obama seems to have double standards, for special occasions, when he needs to promote himself.

Obama as the Democratic nominee, will surely lose many Democrats, to Mc Cain.

Voters are not naive! Obama's speech about Rev. Wright, is to fool voters again. He's trying to promote himself , to the WHITE HOUSE.
