I believe he resigned from his post in the Bush Administration and as it seems, America is done with the divisive politics that he popularized. Can we agree to just let him crawl away and be done. I for one am not listening to him anymore, let him run a corporation or something. I'd add him to the list of people we wish would just throw in the towel on their "careers" along with Paris Hilton, Rev. Fred Phelps. I know I do but you have to respect his ability to win elections. The man knows how to get it done. McCain comes across as out of step with today's youth, too old, and not relevant. It looks like he would change any position just to get elected. Look at illegal immigration reform or the Bush tax cuts. He was for the former than against, and he was against the latter now he is for. He needs to humanize his campaign to get elected.
