Clinton: I feel like the Goldilocks of this campaign

Clinton campaigned in Indiana Tuesday.

Clinton campaigned in Indiana Tuesday.

BROWNSBURG, Indiana (CNN) - As Hillary Clinton and John McCain’s separate proposals for a summertime elimination of the gas tax continue to be a focus for all three candidates, Clinton said Thursday insisted her plan isn’t a cure-all, but a temporary break for those feeling the pinch of high gas prices.

“Invariably someone will say something along the lines of, "Well, you know, we shouldn’t be doing these short-term fixes, we shouldn’t try to relieve people’s pain at the pump. We should only have long-term plans.’” Clinton told a small gathering outside Indianapolis. “We need both! It is not either/or.”

“Sen. Obama says we shouldn’t do it and it’s a gimmick, and Sen. McCain says we should do it but we shouldn’t pay for it.” She added. “I sometimes feel like the Goldilocks of this campaign. You know, not too much, not too little. Just right.”

“This isn't a real solution. This is a gimmick,” Obama countered. “This is what Washington does whenever there's a big problem. They pretend that they're solving it to try to get though political season but they don't really solve it.

Meanwhile, Clinton strategist Geoff Garin said their polling has shown "working people appreciate the fact that Senator Clinton understands the incredible economic strain they are facing."

I'd rather there NOT be this gas holiday...

So I can feel secure driving across a bridge knowing it's not going to collapse...

Thanks for the extra change but no thanks!

Safety for Americans driving on the road should be 1st priority, plus there is no guarantee that the price of gas will not continue going up...

I don't think either McCain nor Hillary have the people's interests and safety in mind....

Barack Obama, is right we do not want a quick fix, and to resolve the situation. Because even a regular person, do the math, and to save approximately $9.00, and we still must buy food, gas, health care, house payment, child care. GIVE ME A BREAK AND GET REAL WITH REAL SOLUTIONS!

Another sales pitch for the war.
When is this mission going to be accomplished ?

And Romney wants to destroy social security.

In our midst is a rare individual who knows how to get things done. Hillary Clinton is exactly what this country needs. Hillary is beautifully brilliant on economic policy and actually listens to the voters. She will redirect NAFTA, lower gas prices and increase jobs. Hillary has made perfect sense since day one of the campaign with precise answers that leave little doubt. Unlike Bush, Hillary will emerge one of the best presidents for the United States of America.

Paul vs. Clinton. How will Hillary run the country from a jail cell? (Which,by the way, is exactly where she belongs.)

Now that Hillary Clinton's Pastor has been arrested for Sexual Molestation What will the Media say about this and how long will they pounce on her if at all. Well here it is: When the Rev. William Procanick put his hand on the Bible
during his sex-abuse trial in Oneida County Court earlier this year,
he swore to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. But as the
former Clinton pastor was sentenced Friday to three years in prison for
inappropriately touching a 7-year-old girl at his home last March, Judge
Michael L. Dwyer said Procanick sacrificed his honesty the day he testified.

Okay, so now that Clinton 's pastor has been convicted
of child molestation, will we see the same furor directed at Hillary
that Obama has had to endure these last few weeks?

Then you need to email this article to everyone you know.
Here the CLINTON 'S Pastor is convicted of child
molestation. So, if Obama bears the guilt for his pastor's comments,
then Hillary has to be equally tainted by this guy's crimes.
    More to come.
    What Say You-All?

    Here is my prediction:

    Obama wins

Hillary runs for New York Governor, and gets run out of the state by Stephen Colberts bears.

Garin works for Clinton not Obama.

Is this really the most substancial news story CNN can run about Hillary...what about the bot calls in an effort to supress the vote? How about the negative tv ads....Why aren't people paying attention to the fact that the mainstream media is spoonfeeding us baloney straight from the Clinton campaign? Please folks wake up...Our country's future hangs in the balance.

Temporary relief from high gas prices by taking away the gas tax, even for 6 month espically during the summer is better than nothing. That is what Oabam wants to do. Same old dog and pony show, make changes in Washington. Well, those changes he talks about could take years, many, many years. With Obama , your back to the hope and inspriation bologna!

HILLARY CLINTON DIRECTED THE BIGGEST CAMPAIGN FUNDRAISER FRAUD IN HISTORY. She illegally solicited, coordinated and then covered-up more than $1.2 million expended for her Senate campaign by the Hollywood impressario PETER PAUL who wanted to become a post White House business partner with Bill and her family. LOOK IT UP ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO WANT TO CRITICIZE OBAMA. THIS CASE IS ACTUALLY REAL!!!!

I'm sorry. I'm a lifelong democrat and I think this woman is pure evil. I WILL vote for McCain if she steals the nomination away with her lies, acts and unctuousness. And you can take that to the bank. She can drive across the country strong-arming superdelegates all she wants but she won't steal MINE.

The gas tax break will not help anyone in the long run. If you are that stupid to believe that a tax cut for 3 months is going to save you a few dollars, then you are no idea why the tax is there for the first place. The tax is for rebuilding the highways and you take that a way, no work, for there is no funding. More then a year ago Hillary was calling for highway and bridge rebuilding. Where does this money come from Hillary? Please don't answer that phone at 3 am, it will take you to long to put on your make up and jewery. Vote for anyone but her.
