Clinton: I feel like the Goldilocks of this campaign

Clinton campaigned in Indiana Tuesday.
Clinton campaigned in Indiana Tuesday.

BROWNSBURG, Indiana (CNN) - As Hillary Clinton and John McCain’s separate proposals for a summertime elimination of the gas tax continue to be a focus for all three candidates, Clinton said Thursday insisted her plan isn’t a cure-all, but a temporary break for those feeling the pinch of high gas prices.

“Invariably someone will say something along the lines of, "Well, you know, we shouldn’t be doing these short-term fixes, we shouldn’t try to relieve people’s pain at the pump. We should only have long-term plans.’” Clinton told a small gathering outside Indianapolis. “We need both! It is not either/or.”

“Sen. Obama says we shouldn’t do it and it’s a gimmick, and Sen. McCain says we should do it but we shouldn’t pay for it.” She added. “I sometimes feel like the Goldilocks of this campaign. You know, not too much, not too little. Just right.”

“This isn't a real solution. This is a gimmick,” Obama countered. “This is what Washington does whenever there's a big problem. They pretend that they're solving it to try to get though political season but they don't really solve it.

Meanwhile, Clinton strategist Geoff Garin said their polling has shown "working people appreciate the fact that Senator Clinton understands the incredible economic strain they are facing."

If Barack gets the nomination, John McCain will be the next president. Let there be no doubt. As things stand, Hillary Clinton is our BEST bet to get this nation back on the right track. I support Clinton 100%! So should you.

Spare me the Goldilocks, and the hometown local hunting girl. Does anyone see through these lies and negativity. She claimed to take offense at some of the things that Rev Wright stated however, did she take offense to NAFTA, Whitewater, Dafur and all the other lies from the "golden 90's of the Clinton reign." Please no more Clintons.

Sen. Obama voted for the 2005 Energy Bill, written in secret by Vice President Cheney and the energy lobby. Thomas Friedman referred to the bill as "the sum of all lobbies." U.S. PIRG noted that the bill's "heavy tilt toward big oil companies reflects the influence of Exxon Mobil and other oil companies on policy-makers in Washington, DC."
    1. The Washington Post editorialized that the bill was a "piñata of perks for energy industries." Indeed, the bill contained $6 billion in subsidies to the oil and gas industry and $12 billion to the nuclear power industry.

Try a goldiliar. You are so pathetic and you make me sick. You are a liar who knows you stole and wrote illegal grants from the government to make money on your real estate investments. Everyone knows you are a liar and cheat and took money for your husbands campaign making promises to repay with position once he reached office. You make me sick. You will do anything to win no matter what it takes. Even threaten a country we badly need to help us end the misery in Iraq that you voted for. If you all want to vote for someone like this than vote for HIllary Clinton and enjoy the next 4 years of lies and corruption that were major parts of her husband's presidency.

If you research this issue Obama did vote for it in IL and most of the savings actually went to the oil companies and the public. So the public roads loss funding and the oil companies got richer. When he realized that this was not successful he choose not to support it. Every economist and expert that has researched this agrees that it is not a good idea. Of course it sounds good to potential voters unless they do a little research on their own and then it is clear that none of use want to add to the profits of the oil company. Hillary was told this but choose to try to use it for political gain–hopefully the public realizes the truth. This is one reason she lost the superdelegate this morning.

Obama did vote for the Gas tax relief when Gas was like below 1.60 but with gas here in Texas 3.50 or more it will not be much of a savings. Maybe Hillary supporters will love 30 bucks but that wont do much for me this summer.

Federal Crime: Peter Paul Vs Hillary Clinton event was the largest event ever produced for a US President in Hollywood, it was the largest private concert produced closed to the public and it was the largest fundraising event ever produced for a Senator. It also became a federal crime when Hillary Clinton's campaign hid the source and amount of Peter Paul's $1.2 million plus expenditures for Hillary Clinton's campaign.

    Explain Hillary.

Her tax holiday is sound. Who opposes it of course the oil companies and Obama that voted to give oil companies more tax breaks... Hillary would tax the profits, get it? so if companies try to keep the tax savings for themselves they will be caught in the profits. real smart Hillary even if some can not understand economics....
