From

JEFFERSONVILLE, Indiana (CNN) – After several days of back and forth between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama over whether a summer-long elimination of the gas tax would help or hurt, Clinton took a hard line, asking her colleagues in Congress to take sides.

“I believe it would be important to get every member of Congress on record,” Clinton told supporters at a rally in southern Indiana. “Do they stand with the hard-pressed Americans who are trying to pay their gas bills at the gas station or do they once again stand with the oil companies?

“I want to know where people stand and I want them to tell us, are they with us or against us when it comes to taking on the oil companies?” she added.

The “with us or against us” line wasn’t the only George W. Bush reference Thursday evening. Telling a story about Republicans crossing party lines and whispering their support to her, Clinton said, “It’s kind of like a little bit of a confessional when somebody comes and says, ‘You know I voted for George Bush, and I’m really sorry.’”

Obama used to tell a similar story that drew laughs about people whispering to him that they’re Republicans but are in his camp. Also whispering, he would respond, “Thank you, but why are we whispering?”

Commending Clinton in Jeffersonville for her ability to reach across the aisle to Republicans, renowned environmentalist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. introduced Clinton who holds what used to be his father’s New York seat in the Senate.

“This is a leader who is going to be one of the most extraordinary presidents in our history,” Kennedy told the crowd after mentioning that this election has split his politically famous family.

“You may know that there’s some members of my family who’ve decided to do the wrong thing and support Barack Obama,” said Kennedy. “Our family is divided, and our party is divided and the reason we’re divided is because we have two extraordinary candidates both running for president both who will make unbelievable presidents.”

This dragging down and dragging on POINTLESS race by Clinton got to end soon! Hillary tears up the Dems and makes Republicans SMILE EAR-TO-EAR!

Both Clintons are NEGATIVE and UNFAVORABLE! The Clintons's LIES are huge liabilities that make Hillary UNELECTABLE!

Won't happen, the Clinton's have the media in their pocket, either because they were always in their pocket or because they got suckered in about the whining and picking on lil ol me.

better way to fight against this oil price crisis is to raise the average MPG by at least 50% within the next few years. Yes, the next few years. Honda Civic is not a hybrid and has 40MPG on highway in their 2006 model. If the automotive industry cannot figure out how to achieve that kind of fuel efficiency for their new sedans, they shall not be allow to sell their vehicles.

Shame on ALL politicians, for ALLOWING the US automotive industry to not investing on fuel efficiencies.

OPEC is thanking us for our bigger and more oil-consuming vehicles

Garry   May 1st, 2008 11:34 pm ET

$30 in my pocket is better than in the government's pocket. Why is this so hard to understand?

short term fixes does not preclude long term fixes. It's not one or the other its both. That's what clinton is asking for . Obama is asking for only long term. Do you people actually like paying more? This is lubricious.

Anon – obamanacs is right. You are maniacs. You are a pack of lemmings that follow they hype without being critical. You are not electing the next American idol kids. :)

Don't forget Obamas past! His home with Riso, all his lobbyist money,
Nuke plant vote and his best freind Wright. He worked on his book with him. 20 year freind!! Read his book and you find out what a liar he is!!! If not Hillary than Mccain!!!!

Susan-VA   May 1st, 2008 11:33 pm ET

Hillary is nothing but a big fraud! Saying and doing anything just to get elected and then all the voters will be kicked to the curb! Of course she will be behind closed doors supporting trade deals taking all of YOUR jobs away! Do you really think she will give up all those millions Bill gets for promoting it?? WAKE UP!! How can anyone believe a word that comes out of her mouth! Need you all be reminded of all the scandals that is in the Clinton DNA?? One that SHOULD

Jay   May 1st, 2008 11:31 pm ET

…that's fine Hillary, but Barrack isn't a supporter of big oil.
Once again, she'll say and do anything to get elected.

Bill Clinton was such a major supporter of globalization and outsourcing, and he did nothing to stop big oil. It's because of him that many blue collar workers lost their jobs. I love how Hillary tries to protray herself as the opposite, when they obviously have similar politics and will be consulting eachother. Some may say that isn't fair to Hillary, but it's the truth… and it's more relevant to the issues than the dirty personal attacks and lies that she's been aiming at Obama.

Walt, Belton,TX   May 1st, 2008 11:31 pm ET

I would ask a different question. Are you freedom loving Americans willing to put your boots on with both hands, get your hands dirty if necessary and do a little bit of hard work? Well, if you are, then I would join hands with John McCain for a return to American values and tell Hillary and her socialistic friends to back off and find some place like Mexico to reside in. We're still the land of the free and the home of the brave.

At least she' fighting for some kind of relief from the high gas prices. Someone said it will only put a few dollars your pocket, well for some people a few dollars can put much needed food on the table for their family. That is Obama's problem, he has lost touch with the working people. I guess his supporters feel a few dollars can only buy one cup of espresso, so why bother.

Lizz   May 1st, 2008 11:30 pm ET

If Barack Obama were white, Hilliary Clinton would not be in this race. The fact that she is still in says that she is like many others who will not support a black man for the presidency. She is motivated now as she always has been by the desire for power. She and her husband are willing to do or say anything that will show to all their true feelings about black people and the desire for her to win. Since she so quickly quoted Ronald Reagan, she would like to imitate him in showing that one can win the presidency and write off the black vote. I will not vote for Hilliary or John.

Elizabeth, NC   May 1st, 2008 11:29 pm ET

Watch out Hillary. I wouldn't be too trusting and fickle minded. Robert Kennedy Jr will probably be endorsing Obama next, right after introducing you your not so trusting supporters. Isn't that what Joe Andrew did. Oouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This incredibly short sighted gas tax holiday idea is "feel good" politics at its worst. It will only save about $28 per family over the entire summer, and put road construction/repair workers out of jobs. 7,000 jobs could be lost in North Carolina alone. This does not solve the problem. It puts a tiny band aid on the issue and simply creates more problems. Both Clinton and McCain support it. It is election year pandering and they should be ashamed of themselves. Americans need real solutions. This is very poor policy and extremely poor judgment.

mariam gul   May 1st, 2008 11:28 pm ET

71Lucas   May 1st, 2008 11:28 pm ET

You know? McCain and Hillary are so generous in their thinkiing! Wow, 18 to 24 cents off the price of a gallon of gas. At the most that would equate to approximately $40 if you buy gas once a week at $75 a tank for three months. Now "ain't that special?" That won't even buy a tank of a gas in a V6 SUV. I know because I have one. I hope the voters don't fall for this bull because it is "just politics as usual". Senator Obama is showing more and more that he is not the wimp Hillary and McCain try to make the voters think he is. He is taking a hard stance that may be unpopular because America's drivers are tired of this rape by the gas companies. But giving a reprieve for three months is nothing more thatn a band aid on a festering sore. The people on the hill (White House and lobbiest gift receivers) know the gas companies are gouging our pockets, but so what? They can buy their gas with the money they get from the gas companies. If you want a chance to turn this around, you'd better start by puting Senator Obama in the White House.

KMKY   May 1st, 2008 11:27 pm ET

Diction, in this instance, is not analogous, Mr. Marquardt.

And, please, anon., and "OBAMA SUPPORTERS," recognize that Paul vs. Clinton is nonsense (1. it's Paul vs. Bill Clinton, not Hillary; 2. Paul is persona non grata in Cuba, Brazil, and Canada; 3. Paul is awaiting sentencing from the US federal government; 4. it's tiresome to repeat these facts–please just use simple search features to find out about the case–even, as much as I don't want to admit it, in this case, Wikipedia is an acceptable source.)

To the high party officials of the Democratic party I would like to say that I beg you to nominate Senator Obama as the party candidate. As a conservative, I just can't see myself voting for Sen. Clinton…mainly because of the baggage she brings and the fact that I WOULD LIKE A FRESH FACE to vote for. OBAMA is a trendsetter and a new voice for people like me—the independent mind. I want the chance to vote for Senator Obama!

Patricia   May 1st, 2008 11:26 pm ET

Won't happen this summer. Just a political ploy.

I just read the article on Blumenthal and how he is the person who has been feeding information to newspapers, cable tv and the web against Obama. He gives them information against him that is based most of the time of flimsy or false information. He is the one who tries to keep the Wright and Ayers names alive in the news.

This is pathetic. This will get out there and hurt the Cllinton campaign. You can't intentionally diss someone over and over and not have it come back to slap you in the face.

Robb, New York   May 1st, 2008 11:26 pm ET

Another president attacking Congress rather than working with it. This strategy hasn't worked for 16 years, and it won't work for the next 16 years. All Bush and Clinton offer is war, war, war, lies, lies, lies, attack, attack, attack, bully, bully, bully and bad ideas, worse ideas and more than worse ideas. Democrats, can't you see this? I thought the object was to win the White House and change America, rather than just win the White House. Nothing will change if Hillary gets to the White House. Everything will be the same, if not get worse because she'll alienate everybody the way Bush has alienated everybody. And all the damage inflicted by Bush that will be unresolved will just fester and get bad enough that it'll cripple us. There needs to be a change, a big change, that will truly alter our course as a nation. We're on the road to ruin in a runaway car, and Hillary would just be a different driver, not one who can get this vehicle back on the right path. Wake up, Democrats. We want to move forward, don't we?

Trenton Sims, Los Angeles   May 1st, 2008 11:25 pm ET

This is SO Over…

Hillary can Win every Primary left.. All 8 or 9 of them and still not have enough delegates..
But.. she Cannot win them by 40% anywhere.. So?

Another fact to dump the clintons. They are viciously corrupted and they are the worst thing for America. They are selfish, power hungry, cheap, new money and very very harmful. I wish people wake up and see that all Hillary does is to get dressed up everyday with a new expensive ( Ok I know they are tacki – she has no taste ) but expensive and then she says she knows how people feel>>> CRAP CRAP CRAP. She has no clue!!!

She is insulting America's intelligence.

Janel, St. Paul, MN   May 1st, 2008 11:24 pm ET

Hilllary and John's attempt to help Americans is a big joke!

What we will save over three months is about one-half of a tankfull of gas. Is this not pandering?

Come on, people, think about it!

David, Kentucky   May 1st, 2008 11:23 pm ET

I am going to be interested in seeing how Hillary's fellow congressmen react to her putting them out there on front street with her challenge, quote "“I believe it would be important to get every member of Congress on record,” Clinton told supporters at a rally in southern Indiana. “Do they stand with the hard-pressed Americans who are trying to pay their gas bills at the gas station or do they once again stand with the oil companies?

“I want to know where people stand and I want them to tell us, are they with us or against us when it comes to taking on the oil companies?” she added.

She is trying to draw them in on her and McCain's lame brain political gimmick that all the economic experts have said is impractical and goes against the simplist rule of economics. Somehow I don't think the other members of Congress will appreciate her for it. Watch the superdelegates start shifting now to get her out before she starts costing them votes in their own reelection campaigns.

Isaac   May 1st, 2008 11:21 pm ET

Airborne, is it? Is that really all you could come up with? This is why I really am starting to dislike Obama's supporters. And we Hillary supporters are supposed to be the uneducated ones!

Elizabeth, NC   May 1st, 2008 11:20 pm ET

Good. Its about time you realize who is not with you. — Majority of congress, and all able bodied, level headed Democrates. Not those goons you have at your net work. Ouch. It must hurt to see your loyal supporters abandon you. And pls stop demanding their proof of residencies only after they decide you are not worth following.

EKC   May 1st, 2008 11:20 pm ET

Is there no end to her pandering?

She found her voice in New Hampshire…but that is obviously not true. She cannot figure out where she is from..Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, etc… or whether she wants to sound like Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan or George W. Bush.

She will morph into anything she thinks might win.

I do not want a chameleon in the White House.

Hillary McCain   May 1st, 2008 11:19 pm ET

I bet everybody in Congress is so sick of her antics.

What a fake!

They'll all hoping that she loses next Tuesday.

Katherine   May 1st, 2008 11:19 pm ET

Can someone explain to me how not cutting the gas tax benefits the oil companies? Doesn't the gas tax go to the government? Aren't economists saying that cutting the gas tax only allows gas companies the opportunity to charge more and thus increase their revenues? Are people really falling for this transparent attempt to win votes. I hope that the American people are smart enough to see through this!

Please.   May 1st, 2008 11:19 pm ET

Oh yes, Hillary, PLEASE save me $25 across the next three months! PLEASE O' PLEASE take a hard-line with the evil Congress!

Pandering politian and her idiot flock. If she were to somehow win my new goal would be go leave this pathetic, ignorant, unintelligent country.

So, Hillary, what does this stupid gimmick of a bill have to do with the oil companies? The only people you're hurting is the poor road workers paid via government contracts for those endless road improvements you see everywhere. Yea, really standing up to those big bad oil companies that you and the Bushes love so much!

She is beyond typical. PLEASE don't buy this women's venom. She plays everyone for idiots.

I am saddened by the continuing racial bias in this country, especially among the "non-biased" press. LOL. :-(

Jayson   May 1st, 2008 11:17 pm ET

Too bad that McCain beat Hillary to suggest this idea. Pretty obvious considering the fact that a Democrat hardly ever suggest any break from any tax since that means less money to throw into some black hole government program.

GG   May 1st, 2008 11:16 pm ET

I am wondering, where she stand on gas issues NOW??? with John McCain or Barack Obama or both, because she can't come up with her own ideas. I think the American people don't want see that kind of president, and that's exactly what happened when she voted for the war by pursue George Bush Ideas.

Hillary needs to quit sniffing the fumes. Does she even know how to drive? She sure can't work a simple coffee machine. Now who's the elitist?

Elizabeth, Mississippi   May 1st, 2008 11:15 pm ET

I would like for all the Clintons supporters to ask themslves this question, Hillary was supposed to be the Dem. party nominee by super Tuesday in Feb. but she couldn't beat Obama why? Because people are starting to see her for what she really is a liar. The media asked why can't Obama closed the deal, well he has closed the gap that the Clintons never thought he could, by being in the lead. As for Florida and Michigan all of the canidates signed a form stating that they knew the votes in those two states would never be counted because of the date changing,so Hillary knew this and signed and stated that those delegates and votes were not needed, because at the time she was ahead in states won, delegates, and super delegates, but now that she is losing she wants those people voices heard why? To help her out. The voters in those two states are mad at Obama stating he's the reason their votes don't count not true, they should be made at their state Dems and governors who agreed to the punishment rules of the DNC not Obama, he only follwed the ruls set forth by hte DNC, something Hillary should be doing since she agreed to them as well.

Save 18cents a gallon for three months = maybe $100 if you are a heavy commuter meanwhile:

1) Increase our use of oil and thus dependence on the middle east
2) Increase our use of oil and thus pollute our already globally warmed world
3) Increase our budget debt – already climbing at a record clip
4) Increase big business profits since they will obviously save much more on gas than individual commuters.
5) And ignore the real problems we must solve by pacifying voters with a feel good bandaid.

This one is only slightyl more rediculous than her proposal to free interest rate for 5 years. No wonder she failed the bar exam – she can not even understand basic economic policy. Will she ever give up or is another romp by her and Bill in the white hosue more important than good policy, good people and good america?

Yes, she is full of it-full of strength, conviction, and an indominable spirit which is just what this country needs. Obama's a good guy, but he does't stand up to the right people. Not even Wright himself. He made a speech, but did he talk to the man directly? Hillary challenges the powers that be to action, in the public eye. She took on Bill O'Reilly and handled him with ease. She is the answer. I'm sorry you don't see that yet.

Fact is that your candidate has too many issues that will effect the people of this country should it be made known and he gets elected as president anyway. bill and hillarys CIVIL (not criminal) case is just another case among many that will have no impact on the people of this country and whther they are able to survive day to day. you will have to pick your arguments better next time around. now we are learning about who obama really is by way of the man (wright) that he says he can not disown. what we havent heard about yet, but we know we will, is the realtionship he has with ayers. then we will hear about rezco then we will hear about the million man march and farrakan, then we will hear more about his muslim/terrorist ties. see where im going with this? there is way too much out there that is certainly going to sink your candidate and all you have on hillary is a sniper fire lie and a civil case. show me where her faults rise to the level of obamas.

Hillary, that is my nominee. She is the one who will bring real changes and provide excellent leadership to the USA and the American people.

Hillary is a winner and most qualified to lead this country on day one.

Vote Hillary!!!

Ok. But look. The funny thing is that the Obama supporters are acting like Obama is God. Whatever Obama says or does, they will say it smells good. But just by looking at who some of his supporters are, you will see who he is representing: Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farakhan, Michael Moore, Bill Ayers… All these kinds of people just want to see the America collapsed.
Hope and Change ? Give me a break.
And good judgment ? Haha, anyone sitting in that church hearing Wright preaching those things does have that kind of "good" judgment.
Do you really think that Wright thought that the Iraq war was a good idea?
Although I also oppposed the Iraq war from the beginning, my story and his story have different settings.

Hillary is a shameless panderer   May 1st, 2008 10:58 pm ET

anybuthillary   May 1st, 2008 10:58 pm ET

I am a 50+ white woman from Ohio who used to be a Hillary Clinton supporter until I finally woke up and began to see her for who she truly is. She will stop at absolutely nothing to get what she wants, and doesn't give a hoot about the American people…it's all about her. I will give her this….she is a masterful liar, but once you finally see through her smokescreen, it's very difficult to not really, really hate her (such a strong word, I know, but a word I reserve for truly evil people like her). If her appearance on Fox's Bill O'Reilly show doesn't tell you something (that she's desperate to win at all costs), people will be in for a rude awakening when they learn that it was all smoke and mirrors. If she wins, I will completely give up on the Democratic party and vote for John McCain, which is only 1 step above voting for Hillary Clinton!

Robert IL   May 1st, 2008 10:57 pm ET

With all the skeletons the Clinton's have in the closet, why is the media so quick to jump on ANYTHING someone says against Obama? However, now I know why Obama/Clinton will never be a ticket…she has WAY, and I mean WAY more things you don't want to know about vs. Obama. She is already playing games with the primaries by using her doner's money to go more into debt while she makes 109 Million dollars and tells people she understands their pain. She would be soley responsible for taking away the Dems' chance to take the white house back before the election even begins.

Isn't it funny that republican radio is telling their own party members to switch for the primaries and vote Clinton? Isn't it funny that the GOP is only attacking Obama right now? This isn't a joke…it's strategy…against the Dems and against hard working people to make it look like Obama is unelectable. If Clinton is anywhere near the ticket, kiss the white house goodbye.

Venus   May 1st, 2008 10:57 pm ET

Go Obama!

Bob   May 1st, 2008 10:57 pm ET

Smart to force the hand of the superdelegates NOW to either stand on your side that EVERY economic expert has said is just stupid pandering or to stand with Obama against that type of stupid politics.

Hmm…will superdelegates want to be seen as shameless panderers pedaling an amazingly discredited do nothing fix or not?

I want to start a different Obama movement. I cannot vote for McCain, obviously, but I can't and won't vote for her either. No matter what, a write in if I have to, I am voting for Obama in November. Join me and let the superdelegates know that Obama already has our votes.

James   May 1st, 2008 10:56 pm ET

yeah she is and her supporters are just miserable =/

Frank F   May 1st, 2008 10:56 pm ET

In a barrel of apples you always get a few rotten ones and so it is in politics with the likes of Richardson and Joe Andrew.

Throughout history, there have always been people like those idiots. Hillary will survive and go on to bring on new ideas and solutions that may or may not work but at least she has intelligence, experience and drive to try to come up with solutions. When you compare her to the other song and dance man, you know, the "YES WE CAN" man, there is absolutely no comparison.

Obama just loves to listen to himself talk in all those famous platitudes and he has many convinced just like the Pyed Piper with all of those folks blindly following behind.

Where is the substance to what he has been preaching? I have heard so many of his speeches and they all sound the same.

God, please help us all, because I sense through years of experience, in knowing men like Obama, that if he succeeds, America is in for a great defining challenge in the next 4 years. This nation is at a very vulnerable juncture and America needs leaders who have ideas and solutions, not platitudes.

Another accident like George W just waiting to happen and it will all happen because it seems that people just do not ever learn through history.

Mendemoi   May 1st, 2008 10:56 pm ET

WHY WOULD OBAMA OPPOSE TO ANYBODY SAVING EVEN 1 CENT?

In this day of rising of gas prices who wouldn't want to save even 1 cent per gallon? Isn't $10.00 worth no dollars? Does Obama know what it means if I can save 18 cents per gallon in one fill-up?

THIS MAN IS PURE ELITIST AND SOESN'T EVEN SEEM TO KNOW HOW MUCH THE ORDINARY PERSON IS SUFFERING

OBAMA SHOULDN'T BE PRESIDENT. HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND AVERAGE AMERICA

Being an educated voting Democrat ever since I graduated from Frostburg State University (back in 97) I have to say……are we killing each other in the party because we really think our two candidates are that different?? I think not.

Democrats have been (although I'm ashamed to admit it) wrong on many issues in the past but I feel we are totally right on most of the issues today. Why can't we get behind the best chance to change the system for the better (i.e the reason we all are Democrats in the first place, right?) over political in-fighting that does nothing to help average Americans which is what the whole purpose of the Democratic party is for???

E-mail me your thoughts on this…..(or post political bashes—either way I'll get a feel for where we are as a party)

Obama is arrogant, condescending, elitist, anger against whites etc…………………………
Why do young people and 99.999999999999% of blak americans vote for him?
young people were just babies when Clinton was president and they don't know how good the econmy was in those years. Older people do remember, so that's why older peopl vote for her.
Young people vote for him because it represents going against the system and they are also full of ideologies, among other things.

Black people vote for him simply because he'a black and black americans hate white people….

Maureen, NC   May 1st, 2008 10:53 pm ET

It is time for a new voice in Washington… the voice of President Barack Obama! Enough of the school yard gossip and distractions and let Obama speak on the issues. The Democratic Party leadership has bottomed out. They know full well who is better able to win against John McCain, yet, you've put your faith in the golden Senator from Illinois. Senator Clinton will beat John McCain and you know it. Because of your dislike for her, you chosen to abandon her after all she has done for you. If you think Hillary Clinton supporters are going to rally around Mr. Obama, you're mistaken.

We will not support him in November, but will support John McCain 100 percent. As a life-long democrat, i'll put aside my party loyalty, cross over and vote republican.

DNC leadership. What a waste. HRC supporters, remember future elections. Make the right choice. It's time for a change. We have the power to do it.

Suspending the gas tax HELPS the oil companies and HURTS Americans in the long run! If gas is cheaper we will buy more. Oil companies do not see any gas tax revenue, otherwise it wouldn't be a tax. It will, however, deprive the government of revenue which will cause us to borrow even MORE money from foreign governments. Are we THAT shortsighted??? This is such obvious pandering…

BP   May 1st, 2008 10:47 pm ET

Davison   May 1st, 2008 10:46 pm ET

Paul vs Clinton fraud case — not even mentioned by the mainstream media because the media wants Hillary to stay in this race until the convention. They want to disillusion voters and keep this political soap opera going. That's why they refuse to focus on Clinton's unending lists of negatives. Contrary to what some say, she has not been fully vetted. At this point I know Barack Obama 10 times more than I know Hillary. The MSM is pathetic.

Can't wait til Jan. '09 when Pres. Obama settles into the White House. It'll be a brand new day.

I read that article online. Showing Hillary and Bill begging the judge to change the trial date from March 2008 to September 2008. It is very funny why this information hasnt been on the news at all. They know they tricked him out of his money and think he is suppose to go away. I am glad others beside myself have found this out. I have put this information on several responses of articles. They have been swindling people all their lives and it is time for the truth to come out. How do you call out all the media stations to bring this information to the spotlight>

Delta Dave   May 1st, 2008 10:45 pm ET

So, what's new with the Clinton's? Go right back through their political history and you'll find matters that bear intense scrutiny. These things find their way into the general information stream via blogs like these and via the internet search engines.
I think the true test is that 60% of people think she's dishonest!

I'd say you should blog about something a little bit more worthwhile. For starters, why don't you tell us why Obama is the best person to be president?

Dusacre   May 1st, 2008 10:44 pm ET

Is Clinton doing us a favor? Let see:
Yes you may save $25.00 or $30.00 on gas, but as a result and at the same time the entire country will be short $12 Billions dollars, this is the money needed to repair highways, roads, and bridges. This cause an additional 351,000 lost jobs at least. These new lost jobs will affect the people whose works depend directly or indirectly on fixing our roads, highways, and bridges.. Now the government will take money from somewhere (loan from China maybe) to pay for jobless compensations to the new 351,000 families; the federal deficit will increase. Yes most of these Americans are Hillary’s voters because they believe they Hillary offers “solutions” and care for them. No big deal?
God forbid your car breaks on the road because of bad roads or bad highways or a collapsed bridge. How much will you pay to fix your car? I bet more than $25.00 or $30.00. At the end how much have you as individual saved? How much have the 351,000 people who will lose their jobs saved? How much will society as a whole save when we eventually pay back the loan to china or to whomever the government ends up borrowing money from?
Money will come from the tax of the oil companies? No, the oil companies will raise the gas price and we will end up paying the oil companies the money they need to pay tax. So at the end we are the very people who will pay for that so call $25.00 or $30.00 we thought we save at the pump thanks to gas tax holiday.

For most consumers, the other effect of the so called gas tax holiday advocated by Hillary will give the false impression at the beginning of the gas tax holiday that gas is relatively cheaper during the holiday, so the natural reaction is that a lot of people will buy more gas, as they buy more the demand increases, but the supply of gas will stay the same because the OPEC countries and other producers of oil will not increase oil production. As a result the oil price and the gas price will increase. We will pay more for gas.
At the end we are worse off than we started; not only you don’t save, but we have bad roads, bad high ways, bad bridges, 351,000 jobs lost, and some will have additional cost to repair their cars, we buy more gas at a higher price.
This is the reason I don’t like the Clintons: they are smart, slick and highly educated, but they use their intelligence to trick people and appear good to the very people they are taking advantage of. This how most people end up smoking Clinton cigar with him.

You want a short term solution? Drive less, lower your speed as much as the possible, car pool and if you can drive the car with better efficiency.

David, Silver Spring MD   May 1st, 2008 10:44 pm ET

Robert Kennedy says we have "two extraordinary candidates both running for president both who will make unbelievable presidents.”

If that's the case, let's nominate the one who has the most pledged delegates, the most popular votes, who's won the most states, etc., etc.

Send Hillary home, vote Obama.

RB   May 1st, 2008 10:44 pm ET

I guess Jr's going to testify on her behalf as a character witness when she goes to court. She's making a fool of him too. If he hasn't seen the Peter Paul evidence or read the charges, he needs to get his head out of his rear end and do it quickly before he goes down with her. WE need to put some distance between the democratic party and Hillary Clinton. She can cross over to the Republicans if she wants to. She's really bad news.

no2clinton, cambridge, MA   May 1st, 2008 10:44 pm ET

Gas tax is collected by the government. Oil companies' profit doesn't change whether or not the gas tax is repealed if people keep buying gas. Not repealing gas tax doesn't make oil companies earn more profit. In fact, lowering gas price artificially by repealing the gas tax will encourage people to buy more gas, therefore giving oil companies more profit. So who's Hillary calling siding with the oil companies? And how is it right for a "environmentalist" RFK Jr to want to encourage Americans use more gas by lowering the price? Changing driving habits or driving fuel-efficient cars would save a lot more gas money for drivers AND lowering oil companies' profit.

And Republicans are crossing over to vote for Hillary because they know she'd be OBLITERATED by John McCain, "the war hero", in November, especially if African Americans feel robbed and don't vote for her, although we now know Hillary and McCain are both GW Bush believers and will continue his policies.

"Either with us or against us"? Who's the "us" that Hillary was talking about?

Peter F. Paul has launched a new website to expose the upcoming landmark civil trial of Paul vs. Clinton which in now pending in a California court against former President Bill Clinton, with Senator Hillary Clinton as a material witness.A status conference hearing is scheduled for April 25, 2008, and a trial date is expected to be soon announced.Discovery in the case is expected to begin in May, 2008 as it proceeds to trial. The discovery will expose an ongoing cover-up of the campaign finance crimes and the obstructions of justice directed by Hillary Clinton with the help of Bill Clinton and former DNC Chair Ed Rendell. The cover-up rivals Watergate in its corruption of each branch of government and the media.Since the media still refuses to cover Senator Clinton's involvement in the largest campaign finance fraud case in U.S. history, Paul will report on much of the news himself in this historic landmark case. For news and information on this case, you can visit PaulvClinton.com

Gas tax holiday is not it America. We need long term fiix for this problem. We do not only go to work just holiday and summer. A quote from the HuffingtonPost

"Aides to Clinton could not, when asked, point to a single non-political expert who supported such a proposal, saying simply that it is a president's prerogative when to take expert advise.

"We believe the presidency requires leadership," said Wolfson. "There are times that a president will take a position that a broad support of quote-unquote experts agree with. And there are times they will take a position that quote-unquote experts do not agree with."

Aren't we trying to shake off the last 8 years of an Administration that ignored expert advise – Iraq, Global Warming, etc? Isn't it elitist to think you have better judgement than people who live and breath these disciplines?

This is Animal Farm-ish – Hillary is slowly but surely beginning to look like Dubya and his Administration. To hell with everybody else, I know what's right.

Am I the only one tired of this divisive rhetoric? Hillary, stick to what you do best: making back room political deals, unapologetically helping to send over 4,000 troops to their deaths, and of course pretending to be from any state that is politically expedient for you.
How do you sleep at night? Alone – if I had to guess.

Since the media is refusing to reveal/report the Paul vs Clinton fraud case in court right now, we need to create our own movement and flood every blog on CNN and every blogging website on the World Wide Web with information from the case regardless of what the topic is. For those that don't know – Google Paul vs Clinton and hold on to your shirt with what you read!!
For those of you who think this case has been thrown out or is irrelevant:

"In the landmark civil fraud case against Bill Clinton in Los Angeles, where the former President is charged with defrauding a Hollywood dot com millionaire to help Hillary Clinton obtain more than $1.2 million from him for her 2000 Senate campaign, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aurelio Munoz ruled on Friday, April 25, 2008 that Hillary Clinton would not be required to testify in a sworn deposition as a material witness in the case until AFTER the November election!." For those of you who think Obama is not involved up to his eyeballs, you better think again. Reszko used corrupted money to help Obama purchase his home. so while you're blogging, blog THAT.

casey   May 1st, 2008 10:33 pm ET

Well, if that story is true that and I quote Senator Clinton "It’s kind of like a little bit of a confessional when somebody comes and says, ‘You know I voted for George Bush, and I’m really sorry.’”

At least that voter is more honorable that Senator Clinton who will not applogise for voting for the war least she admit she was wrong. After all she is never wrong even what caught red handed lying about sniper fire saying she misspoke… Ironic!!!!

Kevin   May 1st, 2008 10:32 pm ET

This sounds ominously like George Bush's "you're either with us or you're with terrorists" statement.

I can't wait until she gets buried next week.

Grant   May 1st, 2008 10:32 pm ET

She is obviously trying to spin it so she is the one the the Supers stole the nomination from AGAINST the will of the people as the Champion of the little guy….Now I am the anti establishment, defender of the common man….From the looks of things, I would be anti-establishment as well, considering her and Bill appear to be no longer the Establishment in the DNC

Obviously her camp has told her that she does not have the Supers, which is no surprise..I think tomorrow could be a BIG day for Barack, then again, never count out the Clintons……

hillary you are so full of it.

Chipster   May 1st, 2008 10:31 pm ET

anon, Obama supporters continue to try to drag out this dead horse named Peter Paul. Unfortunately for you, this is old news that has been refuted. Any fool can bring a lawsuit but the so-called evidence is nonsense. Paul is a convicted felon and his claims and bogus video are on factcheck.org for all to see. A co-producer of Paul's silly video challenged factcheck and factcheck reviewed their facts and found no reason to change their findings. This is just grasping at straws, trying to sling some mud to see if it will stick. It won't and you just sound desperate.

Your post has nothing to do with the gas tax. Plus, Robert F. Kennedy Jr's remarks make it clear that there are Kennedy's supporting Hillary Clinton.

PCASHMAN   May 1st, 2008 10:31 pm ET

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED. I HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT THIS ON THE NEWS SHOWS WHILE OBAMA GETS TRASHED FOR A TRUE BITTER STATEMENT. SAME OLD CLINTONS

California Voter   May 1st, 2008 10:31 pm ET

At least Clinton is trying to do something instead of just talking about hope and change.

HILLARY 08

Lynnette Albertson   May 1st, 2008 10:31 pm ET

I was wondering why no one is bringing up Bill Clinton's affairs and wrongdoings. The news media is dead set on bringing up Rev. Wright all the time and degrading Obama. Why don't they bring up the Clinton's wrong doings and focus on that for a while. I think the are being a little one sided

John   May 1st, 2008 10:30 pm ET

Cheap dirty language for one who thinks flying is a gimmick,I don't think so! have heard of the pilot who admitted he could fly perfetcly. The pilot was so good and self coceited! Ok. go solo the chief pilot said.He took off well, and ater 30 minutes the pilot was ordered to return to the runway! No No i cannot do that! I only know how to take off but not landing!!! the results is left to ones imagination.

Thank You Democrats   May 1st, 2008 10:30 pm ET

This is pure politics. The Clinton's dirties and worst politicians around. They will say anything including lying to get your vote. A vote for Hillary is a vote for McCain. If you think Obama is unelectable, then you have forgotten the dirty politic years of Billary in the White House.

Anyone But Clinton

READ AND RESPOND   May 1st, 2008 10:30 pm ET

You play like you are for us and you play us like puppets i just read this story and i was shocked by you. I thought you were really sincere and cared more about the american people than you did.

You have gone to far with me now i stuck by you when your told the lie about the sniper fire.
I stuck by you when you set your campaingn people and staff to go after obama with the wright story that was kinda clever of you but they found out and i still stayed with you.

I stayed with you when you said you would oblitherate Iran – that would have caused another big messy war and today I read that they Iran did not take to your statement to kindly.

but Hillary I was your number one fan then I read THIS and all hell broke lose. So I need to tell you Goodbye

Why is this not being reported folks we need to get on the bolgs in IN and NC and flood the blogs with this.

I dont believe they are not reporting this and they kept us flooded with the rev wright stuff for two months are they in their pockets or What?

Do the clintons buy everybody with their promises until they get what they want from you seems like thats what they did to Paul huuummm.

I use to support these people, really I use to support them, man and this is what is trying to get in the White House Bill Is really trying hard for her he is ready for more intermns while she roams around the house playing like she did'nt know. After reading this article I don't trust NOTHING they say or said. She was in on the nasty stuff with Bill thats why she stayed. they told monica they would give her somwe money if she played along in their sick game and then thet screwed her again thats why she told it.
READ THIS: "In the landmark civil fraud case against Bill Clinton in Los Angeles, where the former President is charged with defrauding a Hollywood dot com millionaire to help Hillary Clinton obtain more than $1.2 million from him for her 2000 Senate campaign, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aurelio Munoz ruled on Friday, April 25, 2008 that Hillary Clinton would not be required to testify in a sworn deposition as a material witness in the case until AFTER the November election!." (paulvclinton.com)

Here is the kicker – the judge is a Bill Clinton appointee!

aware   May 1st, 2008 10:30 pm ET

Hillary 2008 and 2012! :)

Obama cannot win the general election. It took him 20 years to figure out what his pastor was saying or so he wants us to believe? Either way, he has a huge credibility/judgment problem.

And, who wants to jump from far right to the far left anyway? That is not where this country is!

Hillary   May 1st, 2008 10:30 pm ET

Well, only Americans would vote for someone like Bush and Hillary. She said and do anything to get elected. Just look at why she is still married to Bill… Can't stand that women

LB   May 1st, 2008 10:30 pm ET

This makes me so disgusted with Hillary who I've already lost all respect for…. this is just a game for her to dupe the average person to feel like she cares about them… this gas tax vacation may actually increase gas prices it may end up saving nothing… it is an election game to win votes and I wish all of her colleagues would 'just say no'. I need a break but I need a 'real' break and this just won't cut it.

Obama '08

melissa   May 1st, 2008 10:30 pm ET

wow, she is crazy!!! who is "us" because i live in NY and i know she wasn't worried about "us" and how we were going to pay for gas before!! why doesnt she dip into "our" pocket and help pay for some gas!
she needs a award for this act right here!!!
she is acting as though this is our saving moment and she is leading the way to our salvation its like 30 bucks lady!

Paul, Chicago   May 1st, 2008 10:29 pm ET

She's so fake. She knows her proposal is bad and now tries to put anyone that opposes the idea in "against people" category. This woman will say anything to be elected. But the sadest part is that some people believe her and I have to admit she has talent in manipulating people and clouding their judgement.

Not sure who is more like Bush, Hillary or McCain…Last week she goes on a tirade about "obliterating" Iran and this week says "you are either with us or against us", another dispacable Bush legacy.

Can even SHE figure out what she stands for these days (other than becoming the first female president at any cost)?

Lisa Salt Lake City, Utah   May 1st, 2008 10:28 pm ET

Robert Jr's comment doesn't make sense if he believes that two candidates are extraordinary, why would half of his family supporting Obama be the wrong thing?

SC   May 1st, 2008 10:28 pm ET

Hillary you need to go set down. Why keep asking for something congress think is stupid. Don't lower my gas tax now and then raise them later. You will get a good kick in the butt. You and Bill are nothing but a bunch of con artist living off of the poor people. Go away Hillary you have lost my vote and respect for you. I am for Obama.

Obama 08

Joe   May 1st, 2008 10:28 pm ET

OH, Hillary… Do you really think invoking Bush's "with us or against us" line is a good idea?

I was on her side back when all this started, then I switched to Obama because he has a better chance of beating McCain… Now, I'm actually starting to dislike her.

A lot.

Dave   May 1st, 2008 10:27 pm ET

HILLARY 08 OR McCain 08 BUT never never never never never never Obama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tony, Miami   May 1st, 2008 10:26 pm ET

“I believe it would be important to get every member of Congress on record,” Clinton told supporters at a rally in southern Indiana. “Do they stand with the hard-pressed Americans who are trying to pay their gas bills at the gas station or do they once again stand with the oil companies?

“I want to know where people stand and I want them to tell us, are they with us or against us when it comes to taking on the oil companies?” she added.

THIS IS WAS BLACKMAILING IS ABOUT

John   May 1st, 2008 10:26 pm ET

I don't see where the Clinton gas tax elimination would be taking on big oil, the tax goes to our government not big oil. It would only hurt our government and increase our debt. I could see alot of ways big oil might benfit and make more $.

Just Clinton once again say anything do anything to win.

Lisa Salt Lake City, Utah   May 1st, 2008 10:25 pm ET

Emit R Detsaw   May 1st, 2008 10:24 pm ET

Your either for 300,000 highway construction workers losing their jobs or keeping them.

Hillary and McCain in bed together on this one to lay off workers and make Americans think that is a good thing for them. Amazing!

James in Oregon   May 1st, 2008 10:23 pm ET

Hillary really does have some untreated mental problems , it must be "shell shock" from all that imaginary sniper fire.

Nancy   May 1st, 2008 10:23 pm ET

Tony, Miami   May 1st, 2008 10:23 pm ET

Anon

You have a tough opponent

What the voters should be concerned about is that Hillary has a formidable machine working for her. Call it THE PRESS OR THE MEDIA WHATEVER just like a banana republic. Never saw such a fanaticism. I am writing a book and kept lot of newspapers and record lot of videos with all the dates. It is just INCREDIBLE. I am going to try to get informations in some other countries like France, Great Britain … to see if they ever had such a phenomenon.

Mauri   May 1st, 2008 10:23 pm ET

Hillary Clinton's interview by Bill O'Reilly of Fox News was absolutely great. If the voters of this country lose this unique opportunity to elect her as president, then I shudder about what is going to happen to it and us. A group of citizens were asked tonight to name Obama's accomplishments and John McCain's accomplishments. NOT ONE PERSON OUT OF A DOZEN COULD NAME ONE THING for Barack Obama. Folks that's sad. Forget the Reverend Wright, and all those so-called super-delegates. Barack Obama is not the person to be president of the United States. If he couldn't confront his preacher over a 20 year period, how in God's name will he be able to stand up to Iran's prime minister, or members of Hamas terrorists. I hope voters will think about what we're getting ourselves into and act before it's too late. Let's elect a Democrat — but not Barack Obama. Hillary is the candidate that we need now.

Jay   May 1st, 2008 10:22 pm ET

Hillary Clinton proves that she doesn't understand economics, and neither does McCain. If this "plan" was implemented, it wouldn't do anything to reduce our oil consumption over the next few years. The problem would still be there, disguised as something to benefit taxpayers. She is trying to sell this plan to take advantage of people who are hurting, while removing a critical source of money that actually keeps roads well-maintained and functioning. We deserve much better than candidates like Clinton or McCain who would run the country into the ground.

richard   May 1st, 2008 10:22 pm ET

Oh and the first post above has already been debunked. The guy has already been proven to be a liar. It is probably Paul who posted it. That is why the MSM is not reporting it. They would be no better than the National Enquirer if they did.

Wait, by choosing to help the government dig itself out of this deficit that results in us borrowing money from China and then shipping it to Saudi Arabia, we want to use the tax to develop alternative fuels, but we're siding with Big Oil?

Brian   May 1st, 2008 10:21 pm ET

Three arduous months later and she's finally succeeded in doing the only thing she was capable of doing after Super Tuesday… turning this primary race into a quagmire, effectively grinding the Democratic party's momentum to a halt. She should be ashamed of herself.

Hillary Clinton is a pathetic loser.

Brett   May 1st, 2008 10:21 pm ET

Haha. This is really good for "the politics of hope", guys. Talk about hypocrisy. Let's keep talking about Reverend Wright!

How can anyone support a man who supposedly spent twenty years attending a church whose pastor spewed radical rants every Sunday and not realized until this week that he is offensive and anti-American? How can anyone support a man who on the campaign trail in Pennsylvania was asked what he thought about President Carter meeting with Hamas and instead of answering replied, “Can’t I just eat my waffle?” No. No you can’t just eat your waffle. You want to be the President of the United States. A waffle shouldn’t keep you from stating your opinion. Are you that ill-prepared that you are thrown by a breakfast dish? I can’t support a man who remains clueless for twenty years and can’t answer simple questions do to waffles.

Nancy   May 1st, 2008 10:19 pm ET

Its a shocker that Mrs. Clinton perceives Americans as so naive. The gas tax per gallon, if suspended for her "holiday" can be recovered by the oil companies in a week, based on the rapid growth increases in the price of fuel at the pump over the last year. And when that comes, and that tax holiday is done, we will be back paying big time at the pump, AND see our Highway Trust Fund go bankrupt-at a time when highway construction jobs could provide a fair paying alternative for folks needing a job. Google "Highway Trust Fund" and look at some of the stats on how the Trust Fund has gone during this administration, and Mrs. Clinton will stick the nail in that coffin, so she can build a few poll points…….Obama is right-and clearly has the brains, the demeanor, and the ability to see logic-and he respects Americans enough to dangle "carrots" in exchange for votes….

Linda, Boston   May 1st, 2008 10:19 pm ET

I feel like im living in a third world country and a dictator is lying to the people and his state run television is covering for him. Hmm sounds like the MSM and Obama. Bow down peasant the ruler has arrived. One thing after another is ignored and the far left of the Democratic party launches a positive spin on it and tells people its ok everyone is ok with Wright, Resko, Alice Palmer Auchi, Ayers,Nation of Islam, Faraquan, etc. etc. I hope his internet police dont read this or I will probably be wisked away. Vote smart people. You are being manipulated.

60 million tax payer dollars was used to investigate the Clintons with only a family matter being found. I know if 60 million was spent investigating my family plenty of personal stuff would pop up. Most of the stuff that is said about the Clintons is made up. Go to snopes and look it up. What is most funny is the right wing made this stuff up and now they have an inexperienced Obama who may be the Democratic nominee and they know that all of this fabrication on the Clintons is coming back to bite them.

Favoritism for Clinton   May 1st, 2008 10:18 pm ET

Who is exactly the "us" she is referring to? Most of "us" couldn't loan ourselves $5 million. Besides she has been in the
Senate for 7 years and please someone explain what she has done for "us". Maybe the "us" is Hillary and Bill because there is no "me" in "us". She has done nothing for "me" so I am sure she hasn't done much for "us".

Obama needs no judgement. The media has tried judgement all the way! Time has come when they cannot handle it any more. The Obama supps. think they can handle by uniting and doing it! the posibility is zero, zilch Nada.Even when the Rev. comes back to salvage him from the pain of defeat, and the anger of being ignored.Obama is done and finito. No nomination and consequently no White House.Welcome back to the Old Washington,a den of old politics. He is young and will never use the same rhetorics again campaigning for a VP,at age 61!!!

How long did Bill and Hillary sit up under this Pastor?
IF A PASTOR IS KNOWN BY THE COMPANY THEY KEEP!
When the Rev. William Procanick put his hand on the Bible during his
sex-abuse trial in Oneida County Court earlier this year, he swore to
tell the whole truth And nothing but the truth. But as the former
Clinton Pastor was sentenced Friday to three years in prison for
Inappropriatel y touching a 7-year-old girl at his Home last March, Judge
Michael L. Dwyer said Procanick S acrificed his honesty the day he
testified.
Okay, so now that Bill and Hillary Clinton's pastor Has been convicted
of child molestation, will we see the Same furor directed at Hillary
that Obama has had to Endure these last few weeks?
IF A CANDIDATE IS KNOWN BY THE PASTOR THEY KEEP ……
Then you need to email this article to everyone you Know. Here the
CLINTON'S Pastor is convicted of child Molestation. So, if Obama bears
the guilt for his pastor's comment; then Hillary has to be equally
tainted by this man's crimes.

Fair Ellection for ALL   May 1st, 2008 10:15 pm ET

Hillary repeatedly proved that she has away too much "Experience" of nasty, deceptive politics of Washington that mocks us. The politicians count on the naiveness of the general public who fall for their cheap tricks and let them get their way. Politics, politics, politics. Hillary is trying to prove you have to be nasty and cunning like her to get elected. No thanks!
We have had more than enough of politicians like you. Stop faking. It;s all about you winning and you'd say anything and do anything, Mrs. Millionaire!

Go Obama – Truth seller!!

Lena   May 1st, 2008 10:15 pm ET

I wonder why this is being kept silent. How can we keep letting the government snowing the American people. We are led to believe that we have a voice in government. That is so untrue. So let our voices be heard about this lawsuit. We need to make noise like they did about everything else Clinton has pulled out of her kitchen sink.

Media: Please do not let this happen. Be honest about both candidates. Let us really hear all the Clinton baggage. Barack is so refreshing. We will never be able to change totally how politics has been but we can start to make a CHANGE> Yes We Can.

How would opposing a suspension of the gas tax be "standing with big oil"?

If anything it will drive demand and put even more money in the pockets of these corporations. Suspending the gas tax will do jack squat to help average Americans.

Hillary Clinton is preying on those too ignorant to know the basics of economics by fooling them into thinking they will be saving big bucks.

Why not tell people to carpool, use public transportation, or just take a walk? Those are real long-term solutions: reduction in demand.

Mike J   May 1st, 2008 10:13 pm ET

Everyone with any degree of economic sense is saying that this is a bad idea but she's still peddling it just to get votes, it's just sad.

No she's doing all this grandstanding, you're either with us or against or she'll obliterate Iran, she's just getting desperate.

Fran Martin   May 1st, 2008 10:13 pm ET

Clinton's glittery, fraudulent populist proposal will will explode in her face. Removing the tax will only open the way for the oil companies to raise the price of gas. Presumably, she intends to restore the tax after the summer, but with big oil roll back its increase? They are already behind this proposal, and laughing all the way to the bank. It is Clinton who favors oil company profit above true relief for cash strapped Americans.

Beverly   May 1st, 2008 10:12 pm ET

We are with Obama and so are the superdelegates; he raised the most money since he has the most supporters. He is the front runner who may be in a slump now; but there will be no more arugula, Rev Wright, big states controversy, Bill Ayer, Muslims, false holiday tax et al.

If you google the Hillary Project (lastest updatets) and you tube com / watch? V=e-MzByUHIzw & feature =email; then even the dumbest person on the globe should be with Obama.

Like Hillary said screw them; just words.

Dgordon   May 1st, 2008 10:11 pm ET

So, Clinton and McCain are offering me about $25.00 over three months as a "tax holiday"? How about you use it to buy me what ever it is you've been smoking. I am now spending $25.00 more in gas in 4 days so your 18 cents a gallon is not going to help me out much. Can you stop talking and start thinking please?

Karena   May 1st, 2008 10:11 pm ET

With all due respect , refrain from spreading untruthful rhetoric aimed at Hillary Clinton. You must be hard pressed to come up with this drivel.
Obama supporters are mean spirited and say and do anything to insult Hillary Clinton.
Let the candidates focus on issues and may the better one win,

The Clintons can't be trusted. Hillary is dishonest. What a disaster for our country if Obama doesn't win the Democratic nomination. I believe the Clintons will pull every trick in the book to get the nomination. If so, we will definitely have another 4 years of the Bush Administration. The Republicans definitely want her as their opponent because they know she cannot beat John McCain, who I think is dumber than Bush if that's possible.

Better than that we need to make it known that Clinton is not vetted and we are tired of holding our words! What about the volunteer in her campaign that was stolen from by the campaign??? They charged her credit card over the maximum allowed for a donor to give!

We raised over $20,000 in less than 24 hours to support the Super Delegate who got flack from siding with Obama, just think what all of us can do if the nomination is stolen. United we are a force. We are black, white, brown and yellow. We are young, old and middle-aged. We are woman and men who are supporting the candidate who is changing how we feel and showing us hope is not lost if we work together!

Super Delegates must act now. Hillary's destructive vindetta against Obama and the party must end. Obama has done more for the party with this campaign than anyone in history. Will you, SD, just toss out all the new members who are giving so generously to the campaign? Will you just cast aside the people who have recognized this could be our time to change the pitiful state the US is in? Would you cast aside the black voters who have stood beside you through the years?

Do the math and tell me who the majority want.

I think she will get her answer very fast tomorrow and she is going not to like it…is she setting up to run as an Independent?

Nancy Pelosi made it very clear today, they are AGAINST!

Sen Clinton has turned into a renegade, she is now calling out her own party, this is not going to sit well….She knows that winning is near impossible. The DNC is going to put an end to this in a hurry, it is pure scorched earth now for the Clintons..This is pandering at a level we have not seen..the policy makes no sense, just a gimmick everybody knows that, the gas tax goes directly to infrastructure, there is no savings, steal from Peter to pay Paul, and we all know that you have to pay a fine when you steal from Peter, higher taxes! Now she is the Anti establishment candidate? PPPPPPlease

I bet she goes as an Independent, she is hell bent on power

Kudos CNN, FINALLY we are getting to issues, bravo

Sen. Clinton, we're all looking forward to getting rid of George Bush. We're not really interested in putting a Bush wannabe back in the WH. You lie like Bush, are going to give orders to the military without their input (remember that PA debate), going to obliterate Iran, and now you're either with us or against us. That garbage did work out so well for Bush-he pretty much destroyed the country. Do you really think we're stupid enough to do a Bush 2 with the likes of you?

Major LA newspaper headline, Obama involved with money laundering? Obamas camp has hired lawyers for lawsuit involving drugs and sex in Sinclair scandal. Rezko trial may be only the tip of the iceberg re; unlawful corrupt chicago politicians, the list keeps growing.

Bronx Latina   May 1st, 2008 10:08 pm ET

People are starting to see who Obama really is…and they don't like the opportunistic person he is.

Even his pastor/friend/mentor knows that he is lying.

Obama, needed a church and a power base to do his job in Chicago…he got his power in Chicago, but now he doesn't need his spiritual guide…he has political advisors.

Just like he threw his grandmother under the bus calling her a racist (she's just white…they are bred that way) and now he is disavowing 'those statements'
Which ones?

Political expediency. You portrayed yourself as a new brand of politician…but you aren't. The only thing that you were was 'new' not bluestate/redstate and all that jazz, but, in reality, you are dark blue state. Solid politician, chicago-style, with all of the Rezko Wright Kenya bias and corruption.

Without the 'fresh face' you are just a politician, and as a politician, you are the most liberal senator in DC, you have no experience and your wife hates America.

next…why Obama needs to drop out so that Hillary can heal the DNC…

More pandering by someone who is addicted to power and wants back into the White House in the worst way. A sound-bite, talk-radio nonsolution that sounds reasonable on the surface but falls flat on its face when examined.

You want to save money on gas, and send less money to, for example, the home of most of the 9/11 hijackers (Saudi Arabia)? Drive slower. Set your cruise control at 60. You'll still get there.

Tom   May 1st, 2008 10:01 pm ET

This is why:
The coverage of this whole election by all media has been a total disgrace to this country. We should all stop at look at this. Let’s help the media analyze how to bring someone down, then after they try to set the record straight, let’s analyze how he did not do enough. Most of you don't know that large corporations own the media yes the ones that are shipping jobs overseas, and yes the ones that Clinton and McCain has ties with even deeper than Obama could ever have with his pastor . Just watch after every Rev Wright loop what you watch you get a Drug commercial. The person that does not owe them anything is Obama. So they are paying for this kind of news coverage. Reallyy take a look at this because it is as plain as day. Because now you’re talking money, do you think for one minute the corporations as well as our government which is a branch of corporate American (since they no longer work for us), wants somebody to change anything in Washington. What makes you think that the talking points don't come to these media talking heads on a little sheet of paper from guess who. Wake up people your barking up the wrong tree. Most of you should know this by now. I bet most off you don't even know what the issues facing this country are anymore. You’re too tied up in the media spin. And to prove my point when was the last time you listen to Sean Hannity or watch Fox news, they do not discuss real issues CNN is a little better but the are really close to becoming a second FOX network . Why, to keep you from knowing what is really happing so you vote on an emotion rather than what is good for this country. Let me put another way. Over the last thirty years what good really has come out of Washington for the average worker, NAFTA, Bankruptcy, Energy Policy, healthcare, deficit, you would have to dig really deep to find something. Point being, all those media types and analyst up there peddling their books and offering clear debate on issues rarely talk about what this country needs. Where did most of them come from you guessed it Washington. The mother of the corporate world.

former democrat   May 1st, 2008 10:01 pm ET

I think that someone needs to address the idiocy of many of the Clinton supportors on some of the other stories who say that they can't support Obama because he can't win in November, so then turn around and say that is why they are going to vote for McCain. The complete lack of logic seems achingly similar to Hillary Clinton's lack of logic that puts her ahead in the pop vote and explains how she came up with this ridiculous pandering to the people gas tax suspension plan. The unfortunate thing is that her supports are also strangers to logic and common sense, if they really go along with this, if not. I'd like to know where their prejudice really comes from.

Cathy   May 1st, 2008 10:01 pm ET

why does Hillary Clinton get by with this!!!??? Paul v Clinton. I am so sick of Clinton's getting by with their DISHONESTY, LIES, CORRUPTNESS, & it goes Unnoticed & unmentioned by the press. The way they go after Obama on Rev Wright & EVERYTHING, EVERY WORD just hoping & praying for him to make a mistake or even just use some defferent phraseology he has to explain over & over again & again, while this (Paul v Clinton) goes virtually unmentioned. Makes you wonder what exactly is going on in our country. I wish someone in the press would have to cover this & make it known public.

David   May 1st, 2008 9:57 pm ET

It's interesting to hear Robert F. Kennedy Jr. say he believes both Obama and Clinton would make "unbelievable presidents."

Meanwhile, the candidate whom he supports and her campaign team are doing all they can to discredit Obama and jeopardize his chances in November. I'm really ashamed of the choices she and her team have made throughout the campaign.

If this is an example of her leadership and her ability to bridge gaps and differences, then I'm not so sure "unbelievable" is the adjective I'd choose to describe her potential. She has proven, though her tactics, to be more divisive than anything else.

By the way, didn't Hillary already have her shot at fixing healthcare? I believe her antagonistic style at that time doomed the effort. Sorry, but I don't see Hillary as "unbelievable"… not one bit.

Hillary Clinton, you are a messenger from hell !!!! You have no respect for life. Hillary, Israel does not need you to "OBLITERATE" Iran in its behalf. Do you know the meaning of the word "OBLITERATE"? It is to erase a nation without a trace. You can not be my president. I will pray and plead before God to prevent you from winning…and let the same word "OBLITERATE" judge you for you have no mercy for the life of little children. You are among those like Bush, McCain who are destroying the reputation of America around the world. I am not an African American and I am not a supporter of Barack Obama. Yes, it is because of people like Hillary that America is now curse. Our dollar is lower than the Canadian dollar and she is everywhere collecting votes by giving false promises to voters. A bad campaign, a bunch of bad ideas, bad all around, why is she still around? Like the Democratic Ralph Nader or Norman Thomas.

T. Churchill, Indiana   May 1st, 2008 9:53 pm ET

. . . Bill Clinton was impeached by the house of representatives as a sitting President. There should be a rule that bans impeached Presidents or their immediate family members from ever occupying the White House again.

SNP   May 1st, 2008 9:52 pm ET

Eliminating a gas tax will wont hurt the oil companies profits one bit, it's a tax, money that goes to the government not the oil companies. By supporting this, people are actually taking on contributing to the already crumbling infrastructure.

You cant have unending tax cuts, and then complain about lack of government services, bad roads, no health care, etc etc

HillarySkank on myspace   May 1st, 2008 9:52 pm ET

Let's see,
First Robert Kennedy JR (hanging on papa's coat tails) says
"You may know that there’s some members of my family who’ve decided to do the wrong thing and support Barack Obama"

then he explains why the party is divided by saying it is
"because we have two extraordinary candidates both running for president both who will make unbelievable presidents"

If there are, in your small divided mind, 2 extraordinary candidates who would BOTH make unbelievable presidents, then why are those in your familiy that are supporting Barack doing the wrong thing?

Does it remind everyone of something ? The same phrase used by Bush when he attacked Iraq, a war that was unnecessary and costed us in both lives and money. Hillary uses the same tactics on congress. She voted for the war just like Bush wanted, and agreed with Bush on everything. She has poor judgement. I am a republican but i will be voting President Obama in November, we need a president that will tell the American people the truth. Hillary & McCain are just playing political games with this gas tax holiday. Everyone knows this, and this is not to help the people get over by the Summer, it's to help them win the election. Only Obama had the courage to tell the truth to the AMerican people, which is why i have switched parties, and will be voting for him in November. Lynn D   May 1st, 2008 9:41 pm ET

I believe that Senator Clinton is the best nominee for the Democratic Party. She is tough and we need tough to help us solve all of the problems that we have in this country. Senator Clinton has been able to work well with Democrats and Republicans.

Juanita   May 1st, 2008 9:41 pm ET

No wonder the Clintons cost the Democrats control of the Senate, Representatives, and Governors when BIll was president.

The Clintons are trying to destroy everyone.

Every Democratic super delegate take notice. Hillary is trying to destroy the party.

Female, 43 White & latte sipping   May 1st, 2008 9:40 pm ET

Why is no one talking about the case in LA Superior Court of Paul vs Clinton??? If this were Obama or McCain the pundits would be gasping, " a presidential candidate in the middle of a lawsuit that went all the way to the CA Supreme Court and ruled against a potential President of the USA" !!!!

A date for trial to begin is Fall 2008!! If anyone thinks Hillary can be elected when the public finds out about another case against the Clintons is "suspending disbelief"….and I voted for Bill Twice!!

some guy   May 1st, 2008 9:40 pm ET

she is such a dunce. eliminating a federal tax is going to hurt the oil companies?

whetever.

You lost me at "shame on you."

Yes We Can.

I AM   May 1st, 2008 9:39 pm ET

If tabling the gas tax til August or November gives us a zero payback then okay. That is not what you are saying. Delayed taxes compounded daily doubles and triples even quadrples upon due dates. Just ask the folks with credit card indebtedness.
Again, you are not giving the American simple-minded small town folks the REAL DEAL. Shame on you! Why are you gouging our eyes out? We did not scorn you – You did that to yourself!
OBAMA is right on this issue! You and McCain are not standing in Truth for all Americans. Y'all are making the rantings of Reverend J. Wright come forth as prophetic utterances.
Shape up! Bow out! Take McCain, Billary, and Chelsea with you!

Susie   May 1st, 2008 9:38 pm ET

Well, if you're giving me an ultimatum, Hillary … then I'M AGAINST YOU.

Obama 2008
Yes We Can! Whoo hoo!

He's gonna get the nomination! And sorry to say to everyone who doubted it, the world is going to be a better place because of it!

You can do it Obama – we love you!

First, it's hawkish support for Bush's Blunder in Iraq and being equally unrepentant for that vote.

After that, voting for Kyl-Lieberman.

Then, it's "obliterate" Iran.

Now, it's "you're either with us or against us".

What exactly is this crazy woman trying to do….out McCain, McCain?

Say hello to the real Bush protege: Hillary Clinton

Obama 08/12

Sounds like Bush!   May 1st, 2008 9:38 pm ET

So if you don't agree with me you are against me! Is that what she is saying? Economists do not agree with her that this is a solution(short term or long term) but then what do these experts know. HRCs' expert opinion about all issues and her solutions are the only way that anything should be done. Haven't we had enough of that same attitude in the White House. She lies like Bush and is closed minded like Bush, and she chuckles like Bush, She is disgusting…this is the future of America and it is not funny!

"Commending Clinton in Jeffersonville for her ability to reach across the aisle to Republicans, renowned environmentalist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. introduced Clinton who holds what used to be his father’s New York seat in the Senate."

No offense but even a 5 year old will cross aisle after what has happen in the last 7+ years. All I wanna say if Hillary wants to call out Congress, then she should also show up for the ceremony because quite frankly, she also has been around. So, to say that your either against us or with us is really a question of proportions and variables. No offense but if we have to blame Congress, then is also fair to blame Hillary and Senator McCain…….all I'm saying is if they made the right decisions, then they shouldn't worry about the past because everyone knows that in order to make an ending, you also need a beginning……I mean, that's how life is, right? Is always easy to look into the future even though our past is what makes it…..

LaLa in KCMO   May 1st, 2008 9:35 pm ET

It's amazing when you read the comments on some of these articles. Some Americans are really stupid. Yes, I said it. Some Americans are really stupid.

Read some of the stupid remarks from people in the previous article. Obama is reading the Top 10 List on Letterman. LETTERMAN – it's suppose to be funny and people are taking his top ten reading as indication of his presidency.

Americans, wake up. IT'S A JOKE.

Not only that – Americans need to wake up that Hillary Clinton is the single most dangerous person in modern political history. She will destroy this country, she has no regard for the Constitution and if she had it her way, the US would be a total and complete social democracy.

American need to learn about the history of their country. That's a tall order, most don't remember 9/11.

(C'mon, hit me with your best shot, all those who are shocked and outraged by my comments. Just don't be "bitter" because that would be, well, unpatriotic.)

Obama 2008 and 2012
Yes We Can. Just watch us. :)

Hillary supports (those that are Democrats),
You must be really proud of your candidate!

Read the article on huffingtonpost: Hillary Aid uses former right-wing foes to attack Obama.

As a past, fierce supporter of Pres Clinton, it saddens me to see how low Hillary is willing to stoop for her own personal gain (and our country's loss).

Our country needs a leader right now and that leader is Barack!

Obama '08

FK Hitlery   May 1st, 2008 9:34 pm ET

Hitlerly is going to win. It is now inevitable. She is the chosen one by GOD himself. If is GOD's word and will that she will fulfill her destiny as the next President of the USA. Her entitlement is bestowed to her by GOD himself. Obama will lose and nobody including him and McCain can do anything about it.

DAN   May 1st, 2008 9:34 pm ET

With all the profits the oil companies are making I think Hillary's right. It took 100 years to get to 25 dollars a barrel and it took 2 terms under Bush to go up to 120 dollars a barrel, they've made plenty and to think that they receive subsidies is mind bogling. Let them pay a tax on their humongus profits and lower the price of gas at the pump.

RP   May 1st, 2008 9:33 pm ET

Hillary is completely losing it. Does she not understand that the primaries are over and the only option for her is to get the superdelegates to override the pledged delegate count? Grandstanding and posturing to members of Congress is hurting her chances with superdelegates. This is political suicide over an issue that she should just let go, since neither the experts nor the people think this gas tax holiday is a smart idea (Bloomberg calls it the dumbest thing he's heard in a long time).

Shaz   May 1st, 2008 9:33 pm ET

Wow, she has gone to a new low – using W's "you're with us or against us" crap. If that isn't divisive, I don't know what is. She's such a pandering hypocrite. She will never get my vote.

Jack in ND   May 1st, 2008 9:33 pm ET

I love it.

Congress…give her your answer to her stupid proposal, superdelegate style!

Rich   May 1st, 2008 9:33 pm ET

Guess the story that most of the superdel's in congress aren't going her way is true. Otherwise why would she go after them like that.

I guess it only shows that she leads by being a bully, no wonder she thinks republicans like her so much. She fits in with them perfectly. Guess it is her old upbringing as a Republican coming back to her.

Kevin in DC   May 1st, 2008 9:32 pm ET

A vote for Hillary is a vote for division!

Come on, get real. Just because people don't agree with your stupid tax plan doesn't mean people are "against hard working Americans." What a ridiculous statement.

People are against your tax plan because it doesn't make any economic sense!

greenfun   May 1st, 2008 9:32 pm ET

She will be an extraordinary President who will be effective in Washington.
Someone with the experience, work ethic and intellect to get things accomplished.

mario   May 1st, 2008 9:32 pm ET

she must tell superdelegates the same , becausse they are calculating and this is not good , now everyone see that Hillary is onlly candidate which can beat mccain, go hillary , croatia is with you

Lonnie just telling the truth   May 1st, 2008 9:32 pm ET

Never mind, she's not worth it.

sacto joe   May 1st, 2008 9:32 pm ET

Clinton is pandering to the public. The truth is, there are no simple answers to this problem. 18 cents on the gallon (the total fed tax) is peanuts!

I'm tired of watching people drive Hummers at 70 mph!

We need a national gas card that prices gas on the basis of your income and rations it on the basis of your need!

shawn   May 1st, 2008 9:31 pm ET

With all do respect Hillary, I don't think that the GOP is turning into Democrats. I think in your effort to say or do anything to get elected your starting to sound and act like the GOP. Good, if thats what you want then do us all a favor and make the switch and take slick willy with you. Maybe, you and your new friends like Rush, Bill and the whole right wing nut jobs and sit down and talk about the good ole days.

Nick - Arlington, VA   May 1st, 2008 9:31 pm ET

YAWN……pander pander pander pander…………YAWN

Jane, NC   May 1st, 2008 9:31 pm ET

Sen. Clinton's proposal to give Americans a temporary break from the federal gas tax is a good idea, as is her proposal for paying for it with a tax on oil company profits. She, of course, proposes long-term sollutions as well, such as promoting alternative energy. Meanwhile, Sen. Obama prefers to sit idly by do nothing, referring to her solution as identical to McCain's and as "pandering." Sen. McCain's proposal for temporary relief differs from Sen. Clinton's in that he suggests no means of paying for it. (Not to mention the fact that he smiles condescendingly as he asks, "Why not give 'em a chance to eat a good meal out with their kids, take a little vacation."

grant   May 1st, 2008 9:31 pm ET

"Your either with us or against us"? Isn't that the tact that helped Bush achieve so many bipartisan solutions? If the superdelegates were wondering who was most constructive within the party, there is no longer any doubt. this is so over….

Kevin in DC   May 1st, 2008 9:30 pm ET

With us or against us?

Hillary! I thought this wasn't an Either/Or situation! Did you say that? Yes you did!

Sounding more and more like Bush every day; deepening the divide amongst Democrats more and more, every day.

Brian   May 1st, 2008 9:29 pm ET

hahahahahahah

So the gas tax helps the Oil companies???? Thats funny… Did all of her economists quit?

tigerakabj   May 1st, 2008 9:29 pm ET

She's reaching across the aisle alright. For another straw, or better yet, another nail to put in her coffin. So she says, "you're either with us or against us." She is sounding like Bush everyday. At least Bush waited until he was president to say these things.

This woman is scary.

For Clinton supporters, I urge you to turn your attention to Los Angeles for the Peter Paul v. Clinton case going on right now. Her, Bill, and Rendell failed to show up on April 25, which is a contempt-of-court problem. And that doesn't even begin to tip the iceberg. Hillary won't even be able to get a word in if she is the nominee when the neocons through this at her. This case is the biggest U.S. election fraud in U.S. history. You better believe the super D's know this.

Jake   May 1st, 2008 9:28 pm ET

This campaign has morphed from the most exciting campaign in recent memory to the most frustrating. There are a couple of things wrong with this situation. First off, Clinton is oversimplifying the gas price situation. According to her comments here, her thinking must be, "Gas prices are high, that hurts the American people, and the only way to fix it is to lower prices right now." It is easy to think that, but as Sen. Obama has tried to explain, some situations need a longer-term solution, one that won't necessarily be popular now but will ultimately make for a better situation for the country. It's these kinds of statements we need from a leader, where the President is willing to take political risks for the benefit of the nation. Second, the line about Republicans crossing party lines is clearly ripping off Obama. That's probably one of the most well-known lines of his stump speech, and Clinton is blatantly lifting it from his speech.

I am incredibly frustrated by this campaign. We're watching one of the most exciting candidates in the past 40 years, Barack Obama, in a time when it is apparently not okay to be excited about politics.

leave now hillary your desperate   May 1st, 2008 9:27 pm ET

How obvious does it have to be to that Hillary is saying anything, promising everything, and doing nothing – so she can try to win over anyone who would listen to her inflated ambiguous lying.

this women has no shame . Her poltical philosophy is no worse than Saddam when he was in defeat and used a "scorched earth" policy.

She is burning the democratic party by staying in the race- when we as a nation should be unifying under Barack Obama.

You're either with us or against us? On a gasoline rebate? Is she serious? I love how by speaking out against a scotch-tape solution to a complex fuel crisis translates into being against hardworking American people. Maybe she'll go on Bill O'Riley again and bash some more democrats?

gary   May 1st, 2008 9:26 pm ET

THAT AWAY ROBERT. YOUR RIGHT ON THE ISSUES. YOU KNOW HRC IS OUR BEST CANIDATE AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY ARE DOING THE WRONG THING SUPPORTING OBAMA. I SEE YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WITH REALITY . O.B. R2   May 1st, 2008 9:24 pm ET

Yup, the congress' top priority right now is to debate whether to save average Americans $28 throughout the summer or not. Well done, Hillary! We can see how you will shine as the President, if you ever get that far.

MaTerry   May 1st, 2008 9:24 pm ET

She kills me always trying to accuse others of taking money or being for the special interest. Hillary, Bill is probably somewhere making a back room deal with the Oil companies as we speak. Stop it!

Michael   May 1st, 2008 9:23 pm ET

With you or against you Hillary?

Against you, and everything you stand for.

Gas tax holiday aside, her plan and McCain's plan for Gas relief is majorly flawed. Her plan will have us all paying more at the pump in no less than three months.

Greg   May 1st, 2008 9:23 pm ET

Wow. Talk about a way to show how little power you have over your party? Pelosi and Hoyer are already out saying they're against it before she even said anything.

Toot   May 1st, 2008 9:23 pm ET

Thank you Hillary for asking the right questions. Thank you Robert F. Kennedy for supporting the right candidate.
Hillary we know you will make the right decisions for America!!
Hillary for President!!

BGIV in NC   May 1st, 2008 9:23 pm ET

Yeah – lets push through some meaningless legislation and crow about what a good deed she did for the American people. A gas tax holiday is like putting a band aid on an open artery. Helps for a second, then you realize you needed a real fix, not a cover up.

MCD   May 1st, 2008 9:22 pm ET

She has lost her mind. This sounds like some "The South will rise again" type nonsense.

carlo   May 1st, 2008 9:22 pm ET

More political posturing. Who is she now, Ghandi? She thinks the people in Congress, who actually LISTEN to the experts, would go along with her farce so she can gain more blind favor from the electorate?

This, combined with the revelation that Blumenthal, her senior advisor, had been feeding information from the right wing of all people, helps me to change my mind. I was going to vote for her if Obama lost the nomination, but I just can't. I just can't.

Brian, RI   May 1st, 2008 9:22 pm ET

“Our family is divided, and our party is divided and the reason we’re divided is because we have two extraordinary candidates both running for president both who will make unbelievable presidents.”

That is one of the most sensible things regarding this race I've heard in a long time.

anon   May 1st, 2008 9:21 pm ET

TO ALL THE OBAMA SUPPORTERS:
Since the media is refusing to reveal/report the Paul vs Clinton fraud case in court right now, we need to create our own movement and flood every blog on CNN and every blogging website on the World Wide Web with information from the case regardless of what the topic is. For those that don't know – Google Paul vs Clinton and hold on to your shirt with what you read!!
For those of you who think this case has been thrown out or is irrelevant:

"In the landmark civil fraud case against Bill Clinton in Los Angeles, where the former President is charged with defrauding a Hollywood dot com millionaire to help Hillary Clinton obtain more than $1.2 million from him for her 2000 Senate campaign, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aurelio Munoz ruled on Friday, April 25, 2008 that Hillary Clinton would not be required to testify in a sworn deposition as a material witness in the case until AFTER the November election!." (paulvclinton.com)

Here is the kicker – the judge is a Bill Clinton appointee!

OBAMANACS UNITE!!! LET'S DO THIS!!

Vanessa   May 1st, 2008 9:21 pm ET

Shame on you Robert Kennedy Jr. How can you support someone who is dividing this country by race to win–undoing the work of your father and uncle? To be different? Shame on you. No more of my African American money will go to the NRDC.
