Congressman arrested for DWI

Fossella was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Fossella was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

(CNN) - New York Rep. Vito Fossella was arrested overnight for driving while intoxicated, the Washington Post first reported.

In a newly released statement, Fossella said he made an "error in judgment."

“As a parent, I know that taking even one drink of alcohol before getting behind the wheel of a car is wrong," Fossella said. "I apologize to my family and the constituents of the 13th Congressional District for embarrassing them, as well as myself.”

Fossella, a Republican, was stopped while driving in Alexandria, Virginia - a suburb of Washington, D.C.

The Post says court records show Fossella is scheduled to appear in Alexandria General District Court on May 12 for an advisement hearing.

Fosella has served in Congress since 1997.

You are wrong. Charges against Hillary in the Paul v Clinton case were NOT dismissed. The judge in the case is allowing her to postpone her sworn deposition until AFTER the November election. The judge is a Clinton appointee........go figure!!

    Hey you fools:

Hillary has been dismissed from the Peter Paul case. Get your facts straight! Why don't you actually READ one of the articles about the case. The man is a fraud who has tried to tie Bill and Hillary to his fradulant ways, but the judge saw absolutely no link and deemed Hillary's behavior as perfectly legal.

Stop making things up. Can't your candidate win without his croonies reporting false information?

When he goes before the judge, he should wag his finger and say, "I have never had a problem with an alcohol affair in my life," and if that fails to impress he should make it perfectly clear to all by saying, "it all depends on what the meaning of "is" is!" His acquittal will follow soon after.

How can anyone not believe the lies and nasty deeds relating to the Clintons. Hill and Bill are like the slippery sliding duo, who somehow keep fooling the American people. Let's get on with electing a real leader with no dirty baggage. Please vote for Senator Obama., PLEASE.

    Where is the objectivity?
CNN is becoming a Clinton surrogate and lost its credibility especially the Wolf Blitzer and Lou Dobbs... I wish the network goes back to its original plan, i.e., report the news fairly and objectively.
For now, I watch the other REAL news network and that is not FOX.

So why are we discussing Barry or Hillary in this blog?

Is the representative ready to switch parties, become a super delegate, and endorse Barry?

Actually she was dismissed only as a defendant, but she is still going to be called as a witness in the case. And why do you think she was dismissed as a defendant? Maybe because one of the judge has a personal friend that works for the same law firm the defense attorneys do. Before you call someone a fool, make sure you're not left looking stupid. No matter what, this makes her look shady!

The smoking gun five minute phone call from Hillary Clinton to Peter Paul in his office at Stan Lee Media, witnessed by Stan Lee and Rod Stewart's ex-wife Alana, proves Hillary appointed a White House staff person (not a campaign official) to illegally coordinate Peter Paul's expenditures of more than $1.2 million under the direction of Hillary Clinton. This tape was withheld by the government until April, 2007... after all investigations by the DOJ and FEC and Senate Ethics Committee and the criminal trial of David Rosen "exonerated" Hillary for lack of evidence of her personal involvement with Paul.

The best way to understand the case against Hillary Clinton- the frauds she directed to win her Senate seat and the obstructions of justice she orchestrated in plain view to keep it- is to read the explanation of the case of Paul v Clinton presented to California’s Court of Appeals late last year.

Peter Paul appealed Hillary Clinton’s purported right to first amendment protection from liability for frauds she directed when she was engaged in illegal campaign fundraising. The allegations of huge tort and election law frauds directed by a President and Senate candidate were corroborated with evidence that speaks for itself in the court pleadings- read the outline and click on the links:

The only judicial panel to ever review Hillary Clinton’s conduct as part of a judicial proceeding (the California Appellate Court) did not deny that Hillary’s conduct in obtaining more than $1.2 million from Paul may have been illegal!

“Even if some aspect of Senator Clinton’s campaign fundraising
unrelated to Paul’s claims… were illegal and that illegality could be imputed to Senator Clinton and Clinton for Senate, these defendants are not barred from obtaining the benefit of section 425.16’s right to an early evaluation of Paul’s claims arising from their constitutionally protected activity. ”
