Watch Michael Moore's interview with Larry King.

(CNN)—Outspoken documentary film-maker Michael Moore said Wednesday night Hillary Clinton is trying to scare voters away from casting a ballot for Barack Obama.

In a wide ranging interview, Moore told CNN’s Larry King he found the Clinton campaign’s recent approach “disgusting.”

“For her to try and make white—white working class, as they say — people vote for her and not for him, to frighten them with words like ‘Hamas’ and ‘Farrakhan’” was unnecessary, he said. “I think at some point she’s going to be disappointed in herself for having done that.”

The 54-year-old Oscar-winning filmmaker, who endorsed Obama’s presidential bid on his Web site one day before Pennsylvania’s critical April 22, said Wednesday he can’t support anyone who voted for an “immoral war [that] should have never happened,” and repeated his calls for Clinton to apologize for her Iraq war vote, as Sen. John Kerry and former Sen. John Edwards have done.

But Moore said the campaign should center on the idea that John McCain is four more years of George W. bush,” and “not [on] what an elderly black man is saying because […] we’re not voting for Reverend Wright.”

Ithink Michael Moore is a fantastic documentaries maker !!! I know that the truth about our government is hard to accept but he m. tatics don't work and he is going to be the nominee. GO OBAMA 2008-2012 !!!

Senator Clinton has a plan for universal health care for all Americans, Moore should take a chance and have one to help him lose weight. We need healthy people to surstain our economy

O Man   May 1st, 2008 2:44 pm ET

Clinton wants to go negative against Obama and anything positive he has to offer. This only negates her campaign altogether. The republiccans are always going on the negative against their political rivals. Case in point with the Rev. Wright issue. Does this man have power in goverment policies? Did Wright tell us to invaded Iraq? Did he cause the gas prices rising to the sky? Did he have anything to do with home foreclosures? No! The Bush administration is responsible. In 2000, Bush was allowed to steal that electiion. Then voted in the office in 2004 by some of the people who are suffering from those very questions asked. Now you to blame Rev. Wright, a man of God. Heathens all of you!

JACQUES AGBOR   May 1st, 2008 2:39 pm ET

Hillary,s contention that she has more experience than Obama is SANS substance. Her "acclaimed" experience would have enabled her to judge that the Iraq war was going to be bad for America. How much presidential experience did her husband have before becoming President of the U.S.A ?Obama,s judgement to vote against the war in Iraq will enable him to answer that call at 3 am and provide a solution to whatever impending problem. After 4 years of Bush,s experience in the White House, taking any half baked presidential experience to that House is a BIG DISADVANTAGE to America.

errrr   May 1st, 2008 2:35 pm ET

It is the typical logic Obama and his supporters have: If you don’t vote for Obama, you are cowards, racists, anti-American.

What a “positive” campaign they are running!

Not me, but we should all fear the ULTRA-LEFT take-over of this country. Drugs, gangs, dealers, cho-mos, like yourself are welcome in America, but you ain't taking it over, sorry, get your own country if you want that kind of sick society. Grow up Moore! You don't think Farrakhan is scarey? Try being Jewish and see how it feels. Do you agree with him that the holocaust never happened and that Israel was responsible for 911? There's a thing people don;t realize about extremists like Farrakhan — he is just like HItler and the Klan. He may hate the Jews the most, but he will get around to hating others. And what about Hamas? Once they wipe out Israel, they'll come after all non-Muslim Americans — perhaps all Americans. Do you think they'd consider your politics and spare you? I used to be a fan of yours, but you don't have a clue here!

AMEN!! Finally someone who makes sense. What Hillary has stooped to in her campaign is fear tactics and she should be ashamed. Thank you Michael Moore

Let's re-cap shall we? The Clinton's invite Rev. Wright to pray for Bill at a breakfast after he almost threw away his life's work for an indescretion. Hillary lies about snipper fire. Living in "Killadelphia" you know gunfire when you hear it and you don't feel the need to lie about it. Hillary manufactures a trip to the gas station to pretend she is a regular Jo-Ann. Hillary thinks the American people can't do the math and we will mortgage the next four years on a $30 savings. Most importantly, she admits she didn't read the memo that would have given her the intelligence needed to say NO to an unjust war at the very beginning. I don't know about you but I don't like liars and I don't appreicate being taken for granted.

Bobby   May 1st, 2008 2:27 pm ET

Michael Moore is an absolute slob. He makes it sound like all Republicans are evil and then he has the nerve to say things and make movies that only see his point of view. If Hillary gets the nomination, he'll be one of her loudest supporters I'm not a McCain or Clinton supporter, but Michael Moore needs to get over himself.

I feel for John McCain. He has been mistreated badly, worst than most of us can imagine. Not to say anything about his POW experience. Many of us don't seem to know what to make of him. He's a conservative! No, he's a liberal! Wait, he's a moderate! The truth is that John is just trying to be himself within a political system that insists he remain in a political box. John is everyman. He's doing the best he can, under difficult circumstances, to remain true to himself and the country he loves. Call me idealistic, but I believe he's the American president Americans have been waiting for. They just don't know it yet.

You go Michael Moore! Speak the truth, I love it! How can anyone support someone who uses scare tactics to get votes? Hillary should be ashamed of herself. I wonder sometimes about the people who support her. What kind of people they must be…scary.

Tim   May 1st, 2008 2:12 pm ET

I really don't understand Clinton supporters:
You rant about how Obama is untrustworthy but your candidate has flip flopped on several key issues: NAFTA, Iraq war, "sniper fire"
You claim that Clinton will be the stronger candidate against McCain:
Then why is the GOP attacking Obama to give Hillary the nomination?
You even attack Obama supporters saying that they have no wisdom or knowledge of the world and are simply swayed by a few empty words:
They could say the same about you claiming that Hillary only wins the votes of the senile and uneducated whites who are afraid of black president.

As a British citizen who has watched this election from the outset, I must say that I have been disgusted with the negative campaign that Hillary has run. She's the one who's on the ropes and is more concerned about winning than the American people. If by some fluke she gets the superdelegates on her side, I really hope the American people see through her lies and do not elect her to executive office and further tarnish America's image overseas through her brain-dead foreign policy:

"I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran. In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them."

Her words, not mine. Do the right thing America and don't vote for this woman…

It wasn't Hillary that told him to get Tony Rezko involved in a shady real estate deal.Hillary didn't tell him to make up a story about JFK paying his dad's ticket to the USA or saying his parents met four years after he was born. these are the things that Obama is made of and there is a lot more that as not even been touched yet so don't blame Sen.Clinton or anybody but Sen Obama for his character. Are you supporters that stupid that you will vote for someone just because he talks a good game so did Bush

You would rather have another 4 years of no jobs, people losing their homes, fighting in Iraq, an econimic recession, super high food and gas prices, rather than have an African-American as President!!

If the majority of white Americans feel that way, then we all better brace ourselves because America is headed for disaster, all because some people can't get over skin color. Then maybe America will deserve whatever happens!!

I didn’t do my research on this but I’ll take your statement as the fact. The question, however, would be: do you equate “regret” to “apologize?” Obviously you do. But I personally can’t and therefore won’t. I have no slightest doubt that Hillary deeply regrets now that she voted for the war. It’s the “why” or “what for” behind her “regret” bothers me, and that’s how she lost my vote.

It's a shame that Mr. Moore didn't agree with the HRC politics of fear and smear. Since she was losing on the issues, she chose to emulate the Karl Rove and destroy the Democratic party in the process. If you watch the whole interview, even the die-hard Clinton supporters would have to agree with Moore's observations.

For those of you who are obsessed with the Wright controversy and the fear of his philosphy on Obama, check back in time (around 10 years ago) during the Clinton's impeachment throes. You'll discover that it was one Rev. Jeremiah Wright giving spiritual advice to William Jefferson Clinton. And you fault Obama for Wright's rantings 20 years ago? What hypocritical idiots!

For those who threaten to change parties if HRC isn't the Dem candidate — good riddance! You were phony Democrats anyway, just like Hillary.

A few things:

Any one who would make it thier goal to crush peoples hopes and dreams, while offering nothing in return except fear and hatred, then that person is unacceptable as a Presidential Candidate.

America is a great and honorable nation, founded on Godly principles. This very fact gives me hope that we can, and will move past the Wright issue.

I believe Barack Obama's footsteps are ordered by God. That he was born for such a time as this. I know this controversy will make him a better candidate. This experience can best be described as iron sharpening iron. He can only become better – sharper.

It is a compliment to Barack Obama's good standing as a human being that both Senators Clinton and McCain have banded together to attack him.

With God for him – Who can stand against him?

Why isn't anyone just looking at the math of the race? Give Clinton KY, WV, and, yes, even IN with 60% majorities, and all Obama has to do is split each of the remaining undecided states with her and pick up 32% of the uncommitted superdelegates to win this thing. Clinton is done, they should take her out of the oven, already, and get on with the main event.

Michael Moore is certainly a man who has not been fearful of speaking his mind… and I have been bold to say that I have not agreed with him often. His discussion with Larry King was reasonable and measured. He is absolutely correct when he inferred that pastors make controversial statements. But the media continues to miss that point … and will continue to miss the point until one of them sees a new story line… Thanks to Michael Moore's honesty, sincerity, and rare reasonableness, that seed has been planted. By the way, he made some good points about Hillary, too

The American people don't want the truth. We like to have the media constantly divert our atttention to silly things, like Rev. Wright and what church Obama goes to. We don't have to the attention span to stay focused on the real issues, like jobs, gas prices, evironmental waste and this war in Iraq.
Let's stay focused on the issues, because no matter what color you are, America is in serious trouble and we will sink or rise together.

Maybe the reason lot of us support Hillary is that she's dedicated her life to fight for children's and women's rights before these issues were popular. With regard to Michaeil Moore's statement that he can't support anyone who voted for the Iraq war, Senator Obama was not in the Senate at the time so he was under no pressure to make a decision. He has, however, had the opportunity to vote against funding the war, but has not. Decisions are not as easy to make when you're actually in the Senate.

Moore is such a recalcitrant loser it's beyond me that anyone would ever take him seriously.

Just because his controversial films netted millions–doesn't automatically give this ignorant, crotch scratching, nose-picking moron creibility!!!

God gave all humans brains–please use them.

sacto joe! "Obama is something special. Maybe it's because of his genetics. Maybe it's because of his upbringing. Whatever the reason, he appears to be a natural peacemaker, a true conciliator."

We don't have 20 years for Obama to learn what's right for America and all Americans. It took him 20 years to figure out Rev. Wright and denounce him.
Actually he is accoutable for what another person says, if you listen for 20 years and say nothing. You are agreeing with what your leader says if you never challenge the ideas and especially the ideology.

Now Rev. Wright has body guards for his speaking tours, from the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan's Black version of the KKK!
Oh, and has a book coming out, that should be interesting for the Obama campaign.

jj   May 1st, 2008 1:29 pm ET

Why does everyone bring up personal issues. With Obama we're talking about racism. Using it to your advantage when you can but disowning your MENTOR when he says it out load AGAIN, and that you are only disowning him for political reasons, like you both said last year. Didn't disown him until he told it like it is, then you get upset and start crying. Obama has divided this country so badly that it will take years to recover, if we ever do. Not the party, the country. The party's been a mess since they put in caucus' and spreadout the primaries so that later states have no say & now they are trying to take their chance to FINALLY have a say away from them,

Independent   May 1st, 2008 1:29 pm ET

To those democratic voters who have vowed to vote for a republican if ur candidate is not nominated…YOU ARE ALLLL LOSERS!!!!!!!! You are hateful & your arguments have NO LOGIC for voting for McSame or not voting at all….WAKE UP….republicans can remain in the office for another 4 yrs….ALLL u democrats out there have to VOTE for whoever the democratic nominee will be….I believe Sen. Clinton will be a better president than Bill Clinton…I don't believe Sen. Obama is a secret muslim or a whatever BS that's surrounding him now…they will both be better than Sen.McSame!!! WAKE UP!!!!!

Experience over Experiment!: Iraq was NOT behind 9/11, no matter what they want you to believe. Bush redirected your anger into a war that shouldn't have been, and Hillary should have known better. She had the reports. She just didn't read them.

Sharon Minnesota   May 1st, 2008 1:28 pm ET

He's not doing Obama any favors by criticizing Hillary. She is entitled to her opinion. This is America and everyone may speak their minds, not just blacks.

The Clintons have supported the black communities civil rights and don't deserve to be treated so unfairly by SOME blacks. It's possible that she speaks for blacks who are not of the super-radical persuasion like Michael Moore is.

Erik S.   May 1st, 2008 1:27 pm ET

Moore's interview was really well put, he once was a Clinton supporter but realized she isn't really who she portrays, as much of America is finding out now.

Rickb7747   May 1st, 2008 1:26 pm ET

POST this????

THEY are big PERPETRATORS!!!! (Clinton) THE BOTH OF THEM…..

Yes, that is Rev. Wright, the former pastor of Barack Obama, on the left, shaking Bill Clinton's hand .

And get this:

A 'Washington Insider' attends and creates a lot of events in D.C., and knows the kind of people who would come across documents such as these as a part of doing political business.

Note:
'President Clinton and Rev. Jeremiah Wright… at White House breakfast during the 'Monica Mess.' I have no problem with Rev. Wright. I do have a problem with Clintonian hypocrisy.'

Not just anyone gets invited to a White House breakfast where they can shake the hand of the President. These events are carefully engineered to curry favor with people politicos think can help them.

Hillary may not have chosen Wright to be her pastor, yet her husband chose to cultivate a relationship with Rev. Wright during his presidency. This fact seems to have vanished fro m Hillary's memory as she delivered her recent round of sound bites, criticizing Obama for his past relationship to Wright.

Sounds very similar to her 'I was shot at in Bosnia' way of thinking

Farrell, Houston, Tx   May 1st, 2008 1:25 pm ET

Michael Moore gave a great interview on Larry King's show. He supports the democrat party strongly verses McCain's representation of four more years of George W. Bush. Even those you may have profited under GWB stand to lose economically with four more years of Bush's policies. Why would any republican want to support McCain just because he's republican and stand to lose their profits, it doesn't make sense.

THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE WITH MICHAEL MOORE IS THAT HE WAITED TOO LONG TO SPEAK UP. OR, WAS HE AFRAID FOR HIS
LIFE????????

Bridgette   May 1st, 2008 1:24 pm ET

I think we are just seeing the generational gap with this election. The reality of it is there are some older black people and their are some older white people that will never like each other. They will never try to get to know each other. Have no desire too. But don't let that be our battle. They went through some bad things together there is no doubting that. But I am in my thirties and I don't hate white people. That is apart of my history because it is a part of ancestors but I don't have to feel that way. I don't like Hilary not because she is a white woman. That has nothing to do with it. Just as I am sure that there are some white people out there who don't like Obama and it has absolutely nothing to do with him being black. They just don't like him. I wish we could all just get over that.

Yes Wright is an angry man who has not gotten over what he has gone through and he expects that everyone is like that but we are not. And that is why he is retiring because the church is not there. Bringing a younger person to relate to a younger generation that has totally different issues. It is time to put our country back together again and we can't do that if we are fighting each other.

Stephina   May 1st, 2008 1:24 pm ET

People should be scared. Birds of a feather flock together.

Obama does not have a chance of winning the election. Race is a issue, whether people will admit it or not. Coupled that he is black, you now have all the anti-American statements surfacing from his mentor from whose church he attended for 20 years. You have his own ties to Farrakan, Ayers, his Syrian friend.

Those are just facts and have nothing to do with Clinton or McCain.

Time to vote for McCain. Too many whacks have taken over the democrat party. The democrat party has learn well from the republicans how to be dirty and divisive and to just throw logic out the window. Those tactics was how we ended up with Bush for 8 years. I guess america and deomcrats will never learn.

Moore isn't the best person out there, but I'm glad he can see past the 3am ads.

Hillary – if you want to win, keep your eye on the ball (Republicans) and attack the problems with solutions… not short term gas tax slogans that will save people $30 and not address the "real" problem. Real leaders address the problem head on (not laugh things off as misspeaking)

What is scary is her " OBLITERATE IRAN" comment! She is not even the nominee , let alone President, and she already has Iran protesting. She is as bad as McCain. They both voted for the Iraq war and they both want to Bomb-Bomb-Bomb Bomb-Bomb, Iran. Where's a week long story about this CNN? Too, buzy beating the dead horse of Rev. Wright while our national security is at stake.

Karen   May 1st, 2008 1:19 pm ET

Craig – with that said, you've got a great point that people shouldn't be voting for Hillary just because she's a woman. Also, in retrospect, I see you are not trying to get votes for Hillary – just votes for the Democratic party. Sorry, I got thrown off with the reproductive rights thing.

kathleen retired Professional w/woman for obama   May 1st, 2008 1:19 pm ET

The Clinton's are used to scaring people. Like their own friends.
These people are robbing American Jobs as they are running an
election. Supposedly, $800,000 from Columbia and possible when
the deal gets secured, more $$$$$$ to come. They can always deny
because they use other people to do their dirty work for them.( Penn?)
The people that know them best, are walking away fast. Oh, and let's
not forget the supposed 5 Million Dollars paid Bill by Dubai. Pretty
soon we will have Port Dubai, Port Columbia, Port Mexico and Port China. These people are like the Bonnie and Clyde's of American
Politics. If the voters fall for them, they can only blame themselves,

I watched Michael Moore on Larry King last evening and thought his insights were insightful and on point. He is very even-handed in his criticism of all the candiates. (Note he is not in agreement with any of their health plans.) He does believe that Sen. Obama is the right choice for the strong and balanced leadership our country so desperately needs. Furthermore, he does not paint Sen Clinton as a lying schemer, or McCain as a warmonger as some others have tried to do. Rather, he gave rational reasons for his choice of Sen Obama over Senators McCain and Clinton. At the end of the day, regardless of any Dems first choice, he rightfully believes that we have to unite around the Democratic candidate for office unless we want to have more of what we've had for the past 7.5 years!

It seems impossible for them to praise their candidate without being so disrespectful to anyone who supports someone else. Are these the supporters that Obama attracts? Craig, I really don't see how voting for McCain is going to be signing away a woman's reproductive rights. We have had Republican presidents the overwhelming majority of the last 30 years, and that right to choose is still solidly in place. We have had times where the Supreme Court was liberal and times when it was conservative, and that right is still in place. Same with the Congress – both sides have been up to bat. In my opinion, you are fear-mongering to try to get votes for Hillary by telling women they're going to loose something you think is precious to them, but I have to tell you – I've never known a woman named Craig, know what I mean????? Be a doll and stick to issues that pertain to you.

May be she is trying to scare voter but why?

Where is Obama during 20years or 1000Sundays, is he sleeping during sermon?

And right Rev. Wright about Obama had only distanced himself from the minister for political reasons.

Mrs. Obama is right that Obama may win the nomination but I don't think the presidency of this country. This story of Rev. Wright will hunt Obama and will result his defeat in presidency against McCain.
Democratic party should think twice.

1000Sundays of sermon from Rev. Wright could average about 10Sundays of teaching about race hatred. Are we fooling our selves that may be Obama does not like the teaching of Rev. Wright, imagine 20years?

This may not be Hilary or Obama but the defeat of Republican rule on this country. SO vote for Hillary….

I respect the work Mr Moore has done in his documentaries. However, after watching the first half of the interview with Larry King I could not believe some of the things this man said (including my husband -who supports Obama). Blaming the Clinton campaign for prolonging this Wright issue is absurd. Maybe he thinks the Clinton campaign paid Mr. Wright to come forth and speak to the press. Maybe they also had him rehearse what he would say and maybe, just maybe……..Mr Moore will do a future documentary about this…how about calling it the Cagey Clinton Conspiracies.
And what was that absurd statement about Uncle Tom? Sounds like you may have more in common with Mr, Wright after all!!

We are not voting for Wright, BUT Obama and his family have listened to this man's rantings for 20 years and all of a sudden, they don't agree with him. The sermons that came out before we the same as what he's preaching now, why now, if not for purely political reasons, does Obama disown him. Because he spoke the truth, Obama believes just what he's been preaching.

Why is Sean Penn still in her campaign.. were it Obama she's have led a lynch mob for him to fire,,, disown,,, reject… renounce….DE-nouce..blah blah blah…why is there missing tax years? Why is her hubby profiting from Nafta even still while she CLAIMS to be opposed.. she spends the money doesnt she?.Why isnt anyone commenting on the fact that she continues to claim that Wright would not be her pastor.. but only enough to call him when they need him to the White House to gain favor with Black Folks during the Monica ordeal?I could go on.. but i probably wont be posted and no media is going to cover her garbage…she will steal this election. period.

When do we stop and think that great nation, like Rome, feel beacuse of lack of intergity, poor moral values and so on!

When do we stop an think that bringing people together is most important for solving problems!!

When do we stop and think that each generation would need to start out with leaders with "little" experience? Let us "think America!"

I don't think this is a gender bias it's a "I'm againts the old guard who are so entrenched in what has been going on that nothings going to change" bias.

Notice how Obama actually cares about the issues and hasn't brought up the many skeleton's in the Clinton's closet b/c you can only lay so much blame on Bill's doorstep. She is equally responsible for the dealings in her past that make her the female version of George W. Bush.

All I have to say is that should she receive the nomination you can bet my vote will be with McCain b/c unlike Hilary he actually wants to tighten the reigns on what Govt. officials can accept etc., and has the people of this country first rather than his own "Legacy".

Funny how I can't think of ANYTHING. What makes him the first Black President again? Is it because he played the saxophone? He smoked marijuana? I don't get this at all! Add to the fact that he deliberately ignored crises in Africa during his administration and I'm mind boggled as to how he has brainwashed the entire nation into thinking he's is pro black.

People died because of her. Soldiers are dying today because of her. Her response? Buy me anothr pantsuit and let me try to find some obscure aspect of Obama's history to exploit and distort. She makes me sick. I think Bill is getting senile from some of the ridiculous stuff coming out of his mouth as well. I think more and more people are genuinly affraid to ask the relevent questions of Obama. Case in point the ABC debate. They asked good solid questions and were slaughtered by the MSM supporting Obama. Please wake up people.

A lot of superdelegates agree with Moore that Clinton's tactics have been deplorable. She has really acted like a Republican hit woman and has strengthened the causes of war in Iraq, no healthcare, anti-aborition laws, and continued Bush economic polices far better than John McCain ever could have.

Shame on you Hillary.

Eric NY   May 1st, 2008 12:56 pm ET

Sorry Debbie, but I think you are the one that needs more research. I saw that debate and the question was if there was a decision made that the candidate would take back and Hillary mentioned her war vote. However, at no time she said she was sorry for voting for it.

Paul   May 1st, 2008 12:56 pm ET

Hillary had to be pressed over and over and over for her to say she regretted voting for the Iraq war. She doesn't really regret it. She has been asked 100s of times and has never apologized. Only one time she said she regrets it. And now she says she will obliverate Iran if they mess with anyone. If I hadn't heard these words coming directly from her mouth I would have thought it was Dick Cheney speaking.

Kel from Auburn AL   May 1st, 2008 12:55 pm ET

Hillary is just messing herself up over and over again. You know, if Obama were John Edwards, this campaign would have been over long ago. Most people won't admit it, but Obama has 4 years more foreign policy experience than john edwards, and how preposterous would it be for hillary to offer edwards the vp slot? Race is a subtle but ever present danger in this campaign.

Bruce, Chicago   May 1st, 2008 12:55 pm ET

Ahh, the Mikey Moore kiss of death. Congrats Hillary, you just secured the nomination!!

bernice   May 1st, 2008 12:54 pm ET

Way to Go Moore, Tell it like it is! Barack Obama is the only decent candidate in this cycle. Even the Clintons can't turn time back to the 1990's. Sillary has made a mockery of women around the world by behaving like one of the old boys ( btw I heard she may be in the closet)

Honest Abe   May 1st, 2008 12:54 pm ET

Wow even after that you 'Hillary-bots' still can't understand. Lack of education to blame! Vig and Debby go right now and apply to night school

Ron L   May 1st, 2008 12:54 pm ET

I also had GREAT HOPES for Hillary in the beginning…but as the old saying goes
THE REAL PERSON APPEARS WHEN THEY ARE FACED WITH ADVERSITY…

When Hillary did not capture the LARGE Victory she was planning for Super Tuesday we saw that she was willing to use ALL of the OLD-SCHOOL political tricks she attributed to the VAST RIGHT WING conspiracy she spoke of so many years ago.

Michael Moore is correct…Hillary let us down..MANY of us thought she was better than that…..

If Clinton supprters were able to just step back a little they would see she has devolved into the exact thing she always complained about..

IT'S KIND OF SAD

patricia   May 1st, 2008 12:54 pm ET

I agree totally – we are voting for Barack, not for an elderly retired pastor.

Experience over Experiment!   May 1st, 2008 12:54 pm ET

For the record…Obama was not even a Senator when the War vote was taken!!! It is very easy to be against the war when you didn't even have to vote for it. Maybe I should run for President, I didn't vote for the war either. Get a clue people!

And as an FYI….she had to vote for the war, her city just got blown to pieces! We all would have done the same thing if it was our backyard! She did what she had to do as the Senator from NY!

In addition, he voted "present" roughly 130 times in Illinois as opposed to taking a stand on issues! He has done the same as a Senator and doesn't even have major legislation to back him up…What does he stand for….ohh yeah Hopes and Dreams but NO SUBSTANCE!!!!

Hillary has taken a stand time and again! Vote for someone with a proven record. Hillary 08!

Veterans for Obama   May 1st, 2008 12:54 pm ET

YES SIR CLINTON PLAY DIRTY POLITICAL BUT EVERYONE KNOW SHE IS LYING ITS NO GONA WORK THIS TIME.

marvin   May 1st, 2008 12:53 pm ET

MOORE ENCOURAGES OBAMA TO "PUT ON HIS FIGHTING FACE" BUT WHEN CLINTON DOES IT HE SAYS SHE'S TRYING TO SCARE VOTERS. WHY SHOULDN'T SHE TALK ABOUT HAMAS AND FARAKAN?

last laugh   May 1st, 2008 12:53 pm ET

As a Hillary supporter I am not surprised. I think Moore does some great work and I do like him. He is entitled to his opinions and can endorse Obama as he sits fit. However Hillary is not scaring anyone and Moore needs to hold that same measuring stick up to Obama as well. Obama won't come out as innocent as Moore would like him to be. Obama is a politician and has used the gender bias against Hillary to his benefit – I didn't see Moore addressing that issue now did we? Nope.

matt   May 1st, 2008 12:53 pm ET

This saddens me that michael moore is obviusly also Gender Bias.
For the Simple fact that (shawn Hannity) has been the man behind all of this coming at barack obama.

Hillary has made comments, but nothing as far as what Hannity has done.

so if your paying attention, every week there something new for obama
WIlliam Ayers, Rev Wright, Farrakan, Rezko.. ( this is all in thanks to Hannity )

My point it, stop blaming her for everything Moore, Stop being such a Fascist!

E. C., Houston, Texas   May 1st, 2008 12:53 pm ET

NO…………I'VE NEVER SAID THIS. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME i HAVE COMMENTED.

JoR   May 1st, 2008 12:52 pm ET

Mr. Moore:

We're not voting for Bill Clinton, either. Why does Obama throw what Bill Clinton did in the White House in her face? You can't have it both ways.

Kingsley Orji from Oyigbo rivers state Nigeria   May 1st, 2008 12:52 pm ET

I used to think that the American voters are intelligent. It beats me how the peolple are focusing on non issues like Rev Wright and leaving the real issues that plague the American people.

I have watched both candidates and strongly feel that Obama is the right choice. I have not been fooled by the CNN ads and their focus on non issues that projects Obama's image in bad light. Clinton misspoke, clinton wants to obliterate iran (bad judgement), clinton wants to put the american people in trouble by removing gas tax, Major clinton backers are defecting. Why are all these not news? CNN is biased!
The Democtrates should wisen up and stop clinton before she does irreparable damage to the party.
I hope CNN posts this.

E. C., Houston, Texas   May 1st, 2008 12:52 pm ET

This Presidential Campaign doesn't need anymore of Michael Moore. What a Freak! He's crazy and irratic and a publicity hound. Any commentary from M.Moore means absolutely NOTHING.

Paul   May 1st, 2008 12:52 pm ET

Real Change:

Bill Clinton is quoted as saying the following in 2004.

"If one candidate's trying to scare you and the other one's trying to get you to think, if one candidate's appealing to your fears and the other one's appealing to your hopes, you better vote for the person who wants you to think and hope."

So basically, Bill Clinton is supporting Obama if he means what he says.

Lorna, NY   May 1st, 2008 12:51 pm ET

I Love Michael Moore.

mary, colorado springs   May 1st, 2008 12:50 pm ET

The Clintons lost my vote when they used below-the-belt political machinations to undercut Obama. Fortunately they failed. He's very intelligent and fair-minded, the latter the Clintons don't get. I'm for Obama all the way. I'm 80yo and have listened to many political hijinks but nothing like the Clintons have pulled. They were all sweetness and light when they were on top, but now that their little dynasty is threatened, they have become barroom brawlers. Very unbecoming for a past president and first lady.

Democrat Abroad   May 1st, 2008 12:50 pm ET

I am so glad Michael Moore is supporting Obama. This is just plain good luck for Hillary. MM is the worst thing to hit Canada. His documentary on Canadian healthcare is so one sided it is hard to believe that someone could be so devious, untruthful, prejudiced, and mean spirited. FYI, a Canadian province, Alberta, does not charge health care premiums. Yup folks, that means health care is FREE in that province. But don't get your hopes up. In Canada we do pay alot of tax for those who cannot afford it. But those are the values we are brought up on, like Hillary, and so not like Michael Moore. He can't criticize a black man he said on Larry King because he is a white cat. Sorry, but you aren't a woman but then you would say anything so that your next documentary gets aired!!!

Willam from Texas   May 1st, 2008 12:49 pm ET

Isn't that what you do Michael, scare people with your films? I happen to like your films because they are scary, they are designed to make people think. It is ok for you to do it, but it's not ok for someone else to do it?

Don't be a hypocrite. When the world gets to a point where we don't need to fear anymore, then we can put pacifists in the White House, until then, we need a strong leader, nad Hillary Clinton is that leader.

Haven't you ever heard, "Hell hath no fury,,,"

terrybell   May 1st, 2008 12:49 pm ET

So Michael Moore turns out to be just one more white male with a gender bias especially against Hillary R. Clinton and he is one of those white males who feels guilt towards the African-American; which they (A/A) have learned to use very effectively.

Please, you can not elect a black man for president just because he is black, what kind of an idiotic logic is that and you can not elect Obama on a simple platform of Change You Can Believe In, and Hope, interesting slogans all derived from a religious background….

Do you sense a Rev. Wright influence?

Moore forgot to mention that once Obama got into the Senate and was permitted to vote, voted for all of G.W. Bush's war proposals…

Talk about selective recall!

Javone   May 1st, 2008 12:49 pm ET

Thank you real change! Those are words to live by. Unfortunately, lots of people like to live by that as long as it suits them. As far as regretting something, we ALL regret something. However, saying that you regret it and saying sorry are two totally different things.

Ken   May 1st, 2008 12:49 pm ET

I admire Michael Moore's films but even he needs a dose of reality. Sen. Clinton is not trying to scare voters. Or, if she is, is that wrong? Moore's films certainly have a scare factor. He prides himself in seeing through the hype. Maybe he should take a closer look at calls for "change." When out of office, that was the Republican mantra as well. The youngest hippest candidate is not always the best. Sen. Clinton connects with the workers who were the subject of Moore's first major film. Shame on him for forgetting where he came from.

Paul   May 1st, 2008 12:49 pm ET

Obama has worked hard to improve the lives of everyday people who have a hard time making it, many of whom happen to be black. His organizing efforts have found common ground between people with very different viewpoints because ALL of those people have to part of the solution. Now people are calling him a racist and an America hater.

Never mind the rhetoric of Wright, Obama, Clinton or McCain. Our own rhetoric has become inexcusable.

SPQR753   May 1st, 2008 12:48 pm ET

Dear Michael,

I guess that when it comes to Obama you have lost some sense of reality. As far as many voters feel and think Senator Obama has or is:

1) Inspiring words, not backed by REAL experience.

2) Still too young, but a formidable foe to Republican nominees in say 10/12 YEARS.

3) Not withstanding is (unproven claims) of being tough (coming from the south side of Chicago and all that nonsense), once confronted by the Republican Party machine, he would be SHREDDED TO PIECES.

4) Has NO FIRE IN THE BELLY.

5) By dumping Reverend Wright under the bus, he demonstrated of being a POLITICIAN just like any other, SO MUCH FOR BEING ""AN AGENT OF CHANGE""!!!!!

Sorry Michel, this time you missed the target by a zillion miles: TRY AGAIN!!!

Griff   May 1st, 2008 12:48 pm ET

You? "The Bogyman"… Talking about Scaring… I'ts all about Ready Cash… But Obama can't beat___, John McCain.. So ytou're Grafic's against Mr Bush….Are out to Sink..

HillarySkank on myspace   May 1st, 2008 12:48 pm ET

Before you slam Michael, you should go watch the clip. He tells exactly what HILLARY did to make her lose his support. He helped her senate campaign but she is the hate monger here. Hillary is trying to scare voters from voting from Barack and not the other way around. Hillary is to blame for anyone not voting for her.

Nice interview Mr. Moore.

I don't understand Clinton's nasty scare tactics in her ads. Does anyone in America really think the ad that aired the day before the PA primary was good? First of all, a quote from Harry Truman who is the only known president to give the green signal to the atomic bomb is quoted in her ad. And the second problem I see with Hillary's ad is that is exactly the same things that Karl Rove did for Bush. And we all know how that turned out. Come on people see the truth here. I am woman but I am really ashamed of Hillary I wish there was a better woman candidate running. NO more of Hillarys and Ferraros please !!

Oregon has Hope and wants change   May 1st, 2008 12:48 pm ET

I never liked Michael M
Actually I always thought he and Rosie O donnell were the same person, just Michael in drag……

But He is right on this one, Huckabee Hil should be ashamed of herself and the way this campaign has been run, very republican if you ask me?

She is totally attacking her dem. opponent at every chance she gets,

The Clintons are out there telling lies every day, but the media seems to be stuck on a man who is not running for president and can't do anything to help our country………..

I am tired of people saying Obama doesn't talk about issues, go to just one of his rallys or town halls, this man has wonderful ideas that inspire us and make us proud of our country, and when he leaves our state to head to another one, we are already changed, more people are volunteering and offering to help someone who needs a hand, they feel empowered with this mans words……

I am voting on May 20th here in Oregon, and I can't wait to vote for the best person who is ready to get rid of old Washington politics of pandering to get your approval, and then screw you over after they get your vote…….Hey PA have you heard from Hil since your big Tuesday????

I am Voting for Obama

Turn the page
Bring our troops home, make real change in washington!!!!

Vote for Obama

Senator Clinton is not the one who raised issues regarding Rev Wright. Obama's past is simply catching up with him.

WE NEED THE TRUTH   May 1st, 2008 12:47 pm ET

THE LEADERSHIP TEST

Two recent events that have occurred to test Senator Obama’s
Leadership.

1. It would have been easier politically to jump on the “GAS TAX
RELIEF PLAN” and say you’re for it (get a few more votes), when
you really know that it would be bad for the American People.
Only One candidate had the guts to let the American People know
The truth of the situation, Senator Obama.

2. When you’re faced with a crisis situation and it involves having to
make the tough decision. A decision that tears you up on the inside,
but one that you know has to be made. Senator Obama made a
tough decision this week when it became apparent that Rev. Wright
needed to be cut loose. It is done.

Isn't it time that America deserved a Honest and Tough PRESIDENT?

Senator Obama would be that President.

Craig   May 1st, 2008 12:46 pm ET

Just a reminder to all the women out there who say they'll vote for Mc Loser if Obama gets the nod…. say goodbye for your right to choose about your reproductive health and subsequent future. If you're voting just because Clinton is a woman and not policy, you shoouldn't be voting at all!!!!

Eric-PA   May 1st, 2008 12:46 pm ET

shirley   May 1st, 2008 12:46 pm ET

Hillary's statement that she would "obliterate" Iran is undefensable. Iran filed a formal protest with the United Nations. This is a clear statement from Hillary on her foreign policy and this should be front page news for the rest of the campaign.

Sheila   May 1st, 2008 12:45 pm ET

I'm disappointed in you, Mr. Moore. After such a scathing portrayal of the Bushes in your 911 documentary, now you're criticizing Sen. Clinton for pointing out the differences between her and Sen. Obama. I see nothing "disgusting" in her debate performances — and at times she might have stooped to that level in her defense — or in her TV ads. The idea in this campaign is to showcase the differences between her approach to the issues and those of Sen. Obama. The media has been quick to label her ads as "negative." It is not negative to point out her experience and abilities to lead. It is not negative to ask the public who they would rather have in charge at a time of crisis in this country.

You've done some brilliant screen work. Guess I don't understand your venom against Sen. Clinton. Lots of prominent and respected senators and respresentatives voted for the Iraq war, and how can you be sure that Sen. Obama wouldn't have done the same had he been in their positions?

MD Houston   May 1st, 2008 12:45 pm ET

The fact that Michael Moore supports Obama is much scarier than anything Hillary has said.

Cindy,CA   May 1st, 2008 12:45 pm ET

Hillary is the only one who is tough enough to beat McCain in November. Obama has proven he is just another politician who will stoop to anything to blame others for his own problems. We need a fighter not a divider for president.

I can't understand why the party leaders are not seeing this when it is very obvious to the people of the United States. (Hope Florida and Michigan get to be part of the US this primary season)

Quinn   May 1st, 2008 12:45 pm ET

MMN - Milwaukee WI   May 1st, 2008 12:45 pm ET

Billary’s gutter politics are pathetic and will not work.

So Bill and Hillary Clinton photo with Tony Rezko means nothing I wonder how much Tony paid them for that photo op, the image of Jeremiah Wright with Bill Clinton in the White House means nothing, and the fact that Bill commuted the sentences of some members of the Weather Underground means nothing? Politics of fear needs to be buried. Can’t you see how Billary has alienated Hispanics after Bill realized he’s lost his title of “First black president”? Get over it Clintonistas.

Val, Atlanta, Ga   May 1st, 2008 12:44 pm ET

Mr. Moore you could not have been more right, its not about Rev. Wright and as far as what she have said about the gas situation that tells you that she dosn't know anything about the economy, look at the financial state that her campaign is in, HELLO what is wrong with these people.

I hope the American people are smarter than that. I saw a video on You Tube where Ed Rendell of Pennsylvia who endorsed Senator Clinton was praising Louis Farrakhan – so obviously he is not afraid of him.

I usually can't stand Larry King's show. His interviews are usually pointless. But last night's interview with Michael Moore was outstanding. You real got insight into what the progressive wing of the Democratic Party thinks of what Hillary Clinton is doing to the Party. Keep up the good work Mike!

You know Moore should do research before he opens his big mouth. Clinton was asked in a debate what do you regret doing as a senator and she said VOTE FOR THE WAR.

I can't believe King didn't do his homework either with a comeback.

CNN must be getting desperarte for guests Moore and Huffington all in the same night YUK.

Moore is right. Clinton is just another politician.

Obama is something special. Maybe it's because of his genetics. Maybe it's because of his upbringing. Whatever the reason, he appears to be a natural peacemaker, a true conciliator.

We need to start the healing process, both as a country and as a world.

We need Barak Obama.

ART in TX   May 1st, 2008 12:40 pm ET

Clinton is STILL LOSING even with all her advantages. How is she still losing to a rookie?

Much of her lost support is a sharp reprimand of the politics of old. We're better than this.

White male for Obama   May 1st, 2008 12:40 pm ET

Michael Moore your endorsement means a lot.
Welcome on board.
Yes Obama was angy at Wright for last Tuesday wrong choice of word . He disrespected himself and Obama.
I think Wright is jealous that he is not running for the presidency.

Wright want to spiol Obama chance to be president of the United State of America.
If wright really care he would have shurt up, because Obama has said it all for him. No, Wright want to control the centre stage, by dancing fooling himself.

Wright is jealous of Obama guest to be president.

Independant   May 1st, 2008 12:40 pm ET

THE PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY ARE NOT STUPID, THEY WANT A DEMOCRAT IN THE WHITE HOUSE AGAIN!

THEY WILL VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON!!!!!!!

Pam Iowa   May 1st, 2008 12:38 pm ET

I agree wholeheartedly with Mr Moore.
Senator Clinton voted for the authorization to invade and occupy Iraq. That single vote has cemented the fact that she is a follower, not a leader. She cast that vote even as all of President Bush's reasons to invade were proven false.
In example, the yellow cake incident was already proven false by the time the president gave his 2003 State of the Union address where he specfically spoke of the incident.
The wheels to invade Iraq were smelted long before Sept 11.
Why did she not see that?

Jessica   May 1st, 2008 12:38 pm ET

Good for you Michael Moore!

Although sometimes he's a bit extreme, America owes him one for bringing our attention to the health care crisis and the failures of the Bush presidency.

Don't be swayed by fear! End the Drama Vote Obama!

Looks like he should care more about his health than who the Democratic candidate should be. Don't do as I do, do as I say. Even Mike Huckabee set a better example than Mike when it comes to personal health. Maybe he can become the new spokeperson for nutri system?

Roger   May 1st, 2008 12:37 pm ET

Peter   May 1st, 2008 12:37 pm ET

No, we're not voting for Wright. But Obama basically used Wright and his powerful church to get to his position today. And now he's done with Wright, so he just kicked him away. The person with this kind of character can't be the president of this country!

Hillary McCain   May 1st, 2008 12:36 pm ET

Hillary supporters don't get it.

When you are in last place, nobody, especially the media, cares about you.

If Hillary had already won the nomination or was leading, we would be hearing about her many lies and her dirty laundry. Every right wing allegation would come to light!

Rev. Wright is nothing compared to what is lurking in the Clinton's closets.

Micheal Moore is just another one of the smart Americans that realize Obama is the right person to be the next president of the United States to change the way Washington do things. Hillary is going to change a few things as Bill Reilly said she did in New York and then blame everything she cannot accomplish on someone else. Get a grip America we are in dire need of change. Out with the old and in with the new. If you have children or grandchildren you show know this.

If we should be afraid of anyone it should be Michael Moore. All of a sudden his a philosopher and activist for any topic that would make a good movie. He and others try to make Hillary out to be Godzilla – she had nothing to do with Reverend Wright's church, message or follow-up. Sometimes one has to face facts, and Michael Moore makes his up as given media exposure.

I can't figure out how Larry King can sit there and listen to this grarbage without throwing up. I realize the media says they give every side a chance to express their views, but, good God Almighty – a rabble rouser and self-promoted critic of the candidates, because he favors one who he's feeling sorry for! Very few people ever came forth and defended Hillary when she was called you know what by Randi Rhodes – it quietly went away. Where was Michael Moore then. Go do your fabricated movie Mikey – rake in the money and stay out of politics. We deserve that.

You'd think

Brendan D, Niles, IL   May 1st, 2008 12:34 pm ET

Michael Moore may be an incendiary propagandist, but he's telling the truth about Hillary Clinton: she (eventually) will come to regret scaring voters when New Yorkers get PO'd at her for threatening to nuke Iran.

But let's be even more realistic: The media is trying to unfairly shape this election. I'm not whining that the tactics used against Obama have been unfair; I'm whining (AND YES, I ADMIT IT) that Hillary Clinton hasn't been harder-pressed by the media. And don't give me that garbage about Tim Russert; the media has been lobbing softballs at Mrs. Clinton because if she wins, they get the soap-opera story back in the White House — the self-same soap-opera that propelled cable news to prominence in the mid-'90s. It's not the American people who don't want change; it's the American media.

Jim in California (age 62)   May 1st, 2008 12:33 pm ET

Michael Moore irritates many folks; his political views may not appeal to everyone. I see his role in our society as something like the "court jester" or "fool" who points out hypocrisy and foolishness and often speaks the truth.

Moore says two important truths here: 1) Clinton's campaign, unlike Obama's, has been highly negative and divisive for the Democratic Party; 2) Clinton made a major mistake in supporting the Iraq War.

Sandy   May 1st, 2008 12:33 pm ET

Who cares what Michael Moore says…As far as her voting record on the war…since Obama wasn't in the senate then…who knows how he would have voted?? Even though he says he wouldn't have voted for it…since his voting record and Hillary's voting records are similar…I am not sure he wouldn't have either… It is easy to say he wouldn't, but doesn't really mean anything…….and what good is an apology going to do now…she made the best vote she could at the time with the information she had (and there were alot of American's who supported that decision back then….) She no longer feels the same way and I think that shows she can see the error of the vote now and shows she is a better candidate than McCain and that change in support is better than any apology…

bigben   May 1st, 2008 12:33 pm ET

California Girl   May 1st, 2008 12:33 pm ET

Michael Moore doesn't understand, Obama's racist radical past was uncovered by Reverend Wright, a reverend that he called Uncle. This is what the American people fear and that is why he will always be questioned about his relationship with Reverend Wright.

ShannonL   May 1st, 2008 12:33 pm ET

Moore is a wacko…the left loves him…everyone else thinks he is crazy. His 15 seconds at the Oscars ruined his name.

People don't listen to him anymore, even if he has something important to say….and it is his own fault.

Burt, IN   May 1st, 2008 12:32 pm ET

No wonder so many people hate this guy. How can he claim to be a concerned citizen and watchdog for America and then back a candidate with little experience, almost no political accomplishments, and enough baggage to sink him in a general election?

Roger   May 1st, 2008 12:32 pm ET

Well, someone got it right for a change.

Keith   May 1st, 2008 12:32 pm ET

"he can’t support anyone who voted for an “immoral war [that] should have never happened,” "

So why was Moore first back a man who voted for the war (John Edwards) early in the primaries? I guess it wasn't that important back then.

I can never take Moore seriously. Even though I will back Obama, having supporters like Moore and others really is more of a turnoff for me.

SK   May 1st, 2008 12:32 pm ET

Why the media is not asking question about Hillary not wining the black vote. He has number of black supporters in her camp. Why it has to be white low income voter are in question.

This is an endgame for Obama. He holds the same ideology as Wright., his then-pastor. He speaks differently because he wants to be in the white house. Please, please, please vote for Hillary. She is the one who can do something for the country as we're in a dire situation.

Amanda   May 1st, 2008 12:31 pm ET

sue   May 1st, 2008 12:31 pm ET

For those of you who believe Hilary cares about poor folk without jobs, you are really off the mark. She doesn't. She tells people what they want to hear. I have a friend who knew her way back. She's been ambitious since her college days. Realizing her ambitions could become a reality, only adds gusto to her performances. Guess who her biggest vote came from in PA? The uneducated and jobless. There's a high mark. And Vig, how do we know it's not you with the gender bias? Seems you must be the one.

ludmila vucolova   May 1st, 2008 12:31 pm ET

When Bill Clinton, a husband, father, president, outspoken figure and spiritual confidant to
Hillary, betrayed her trust, she did not "disowned" him.
Hilary responded that she would leave the church, but she did not leave her husband, being humiliated, mistreated and outraged.

Good for Michael Moore. He has known the Clintons long enough that he knows the truth about them and isn't afraid to express it now public. He was an enormous Clinton supporter. Bravo to Mr. Moore.

Quite frankly, it's Michael Moore who scares me. The fact that he cannot recognize that Sen. Clinton is the most capable presidential candidate we've had, probably in the history of the country, places the rest of his dubious body of work under even more question. Given the serious nature of our problems at this time, we will be missing a rare window of opportunity if we don't elect her. Sen. Obama is not ready.

You are SO right, Michael Moore!!!!!!!!!! The fear-factor is what won Pennsylvania for Hillary. And she continues. Sadly, too many Americans fall for the fear. People, we do not need to be afraid of terrorists, when we are in debt $10 TRILLION dollars and counting! That's what we REALLY have to be afraid of!

How can ANY ONE VOTE for Hillary or McCain when they BOTH VOTED FOR THE WAR IN IRAQ??????!!! ITS NUTS, to reward people who clearly LACK judgement and wisdom.

Moore is correct this isn't about Wright, but it is about a horrible lack of judgement Obama makes in listening to the hate preacher for 20 freaking years people. Obama is Wright Jr. just more secretive.
If Obama has close friends like Wright, then who will he put in the White house if elected to bring about CHANGE?
The Change he is never specific on is the kind of things he hears Wright rant about. Is that change good for Americans.
NOPE

He totally rejected Hillary when she started to act like the OLD politics and slam her apponent. Wrong Hillary! America does NOT want that kinda of politicing anymore let alone be in "bed" with lobbiest and big oil companies. Obama is right about the gas problem. FIx it, don't throw peanuts to the American public anymore!!! Oh, when is Hillary testifing in California about the Clinton fraud case? CNN why are you covering this one up??? Soooooo much worse than what some old pastor said!!!! CNN get off the Hillary train and look at what Obama wants for America!!!! AND the American people want someone new, honest, humble and NOT tied to Washington!!!! I liked what Michael said about the health care programs. I do believe Obama will work with Michael and others to bring about real change in health care–not through us "little" people peanuts till we die!!

I agree with Mr. Moore. Hillary and Bill were the very first to enter race and fear into this race for the nomination. Then she had the nerve to say that Wright's comments were appalling???? She fired up this whole mess. She can't win any other way so they through the race card into the race. I'd like to think that the people of this good nation have the ability to see straight through the acts of a deparate deranged woman who will steep to the lowest and sacrifice this party to get what she wnats. This is all about Hillary and she made it perfectly clear in her actions.

Trader   May 1st, 2008 12:23 pm ET

Michael Moore should spend more time in a gym and less time in the kitchen and blabbing about politics. Why ultra lib Hollywood crybabies think they should hold sway over Americans' political views boggles the mind of anyone who actually has one they use.

I was wrong to think that this country has changed, same old lies by the same old people!

Jen B.   May 1st, 2008 12:22 pm ET

Navyvet8192   May 1st, 2008 12:22 pm ET

I watched this interview last night and really enjoyed most of it. Parts were kinda hokey, but all in all well done. Michael Moore has been trying to get the truth out there to people for many years, but will always be viewed as a crackpot or crank. I personally beleive that the truth is out there, and he's willing to show it to us if we are willing to see and hear it.

Jeff Spangler, Arlington, VA   May 1st, 2008 12:22 pm ET

Hillary is trying to scare voters, but Obama has already succeeded with a combination of his flimsy Hope-for-Change dog-and-pony show, his delusional spiritual mentor, and his wife.

MM/FL   May 1st, 2008 12:22 pm ET

I watched the show yesterday. I enjoyed it; I liked most the answer you gave the lady that asked you why we are blaming Hillary for the war, since she voted for it based on the intelligence that was presented to her. Your answer did not mention the word judgment; you used the word smart instead, but I think they go hand in hand, when you are smart, you make the right judgment. We need a president that is smarter than most people, because the decisions they will make will affect a nation.

The Bu   May 1st, 2008 12:21 pm ET

Do we really want to trust someone who has been caught in so many lies about small, silly things, or someone who, at least, is trying to change the face of how we do our politics? Obama's biggest issue deals with somebody else…not him!!!! Go figure, people. His pastor will not be decide foreign policy issues or submit people to be on the Supreme Court. HE WILL!!! Let's get a grip and start listening to the issues again. One is a panderer and the other is an optomist who knows things can be better!

OBAMA '08

steve dumford, Scotts valley ca.   May 1st, 2008 12:21 pm ET

Get Lost and go on a diet. You're an overblown, has been, blowhard whose trying to get publicity. Hillary has never used Farrakan and Hamas against Obama. The Republicans have. The only thing she has said about the whole Wright controversy is that she would not have stayed in that church. Obama himself has said he does not know how he would have voted on Iraq if he had been in the Senate and had access to the intelligence that was available. All you hear about him is how he was supposedly against the war from the very beginning. Sounds to me like trying to get us out of this war, get health care for everyone, and set us straight economically are NOT fear tactics. Go climb under a huge rock somewhere.

Praetorian, Fort Myers   May 1st, 2008 12:21 pm ET

While I'm thinking about it.

Why would Americans want to take advice form a radical, one-side view point, loser like Michae Moore regarding who the best Presidential candidate would be?

-He's a socialist ( but only for the "poor people"–rich are excluded).
-He's anti-military (even if he were drafted the fat slob wouldn't gradudate basic training and be kicked out as undesireable).
-He only looks at the dark side–and has made living form it. He's just a notch removed from Rev. Wright himself. They both make a living from exploiting the truth into something of their own making.
-If he ever had a real job–he was probably fired.

Oh Please   May 1st, 2008 12:20 pm ET

Voters are intelligent people. Moore is trying to make us out to be stupid. We do not scare that easy . We are smart enough to make our own decisions, we don't need your help Moore.

We can come to our own determination about Obama, thank you.

John Smith   May 1st, 2008 12:20 pm ET

I guess CNN very much wants Hillary to stay in this game!! I love CNN, and value their contributions greatly. However, like the Clintons, I am beginning to question their lack of good judgment.

Why run a losing candidate (Hillary) against a viable candidate like MCaine. Hillary cannt even defeat Michael Moore, if he were to be in this race. So, CNN, please maintain your status and see things the way they are— Hillary is not, and will not be the nominee. Stop wasting our precious time on these dumb polls.

At what point do you say, "enough is enough!"

This was a great interview. He was very balanced hot hypercritical of HRC even though I guess many Obama supporters may have liked that but he struck me as an intelligent, humble person that has doen a lot of radical things to jumpstart change in theis country.

Many of us were supporting HRC until her character became known. It is not just what you get in a competition but how you get it. She has displayed a mindset that the end justifies the means which is historically a terrible way to approach things.

I was especially happy when Mr Moore said she had used all kinds of tactics which the media attests to but he had refrained from using such underhanded means.

Bravo!!!

This race is over, Obama has already won, there is no way Clinton can pull off a win and Obama only needs to have his name on the ballots to win. What this race is about, any more, is Clinton trying to poison the pool for Obama and Obama trying to look ahead to the real election.

IF A PASTOR IS KNOWN BY THE COMPANY THEY KEEP! When the Rev. William Procanick put his hand on the Bible during his sex-abuse trial in Oneida County Court earlier this year, he swore to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. But as the former> Clinton pastor was sentenced Friday to three years in prison for> inappropriately touching a 7-year-old girl at his home last March,> Judge Michael L. Dwyer said Procanick sacrificed his honesty the day> he testified.>> Okay, so now that Bill and Hillary Clinton's pastor has been> convicted of child molestation, will we see the same furor directed at> Hillary that Obama has had to endure these last few weeks? We are voting for the ideology and ideals of our future leaders.
You are accoutable for what another person says, if you listen for 20 years and say nothing. You are agreeing with what your leader says if you never challenge the ideas and especially the ideology.

And it's 20 YEARS TOO LATE!!!!!! Obama just now denounces Rev. Wright.
If Obama can't recognize racist views, anti-American views, after 20 years of hearing racial and anti-american rantings from his church and pastor, what makes you think he will be able to lead all Americans by making quick decisions that will affect us long after he is gone. He wasn't able to keep his children from being brainwashed by his racist mentor, he won't be able to shelter America from terriorists or understand what is good for America, until after he is out of office. Get someone in now, before it's too late. Someone who already understands the problems All Americans face against global terrorism, American security, and the immigration fiasco.

Oh! Now Rev. Wright has body guards for his speaking tours, from the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan's ,born Louis Eugene Walcott, Black version of the KKK! Oh, and has a book coming out, that should be interesting for the Obama campaign. Probably the next feature docudrama for the anti-American Moore.

You're a hypocrite! That's why nobody watches your movie anymore. You just wanna have a free publicity now by going against the tide! Just shut up & find a sensible topic!

HILLARY is still the best option!

Praetorian, Fort Myers   May 1st, 2008 12:14 pm ET

Voters have real reason to be scared.

The candidates of all major parties–are long on promises and short on actuall potential and capability to bring about the promises they are making.

Now more than ever we need a third party candidate!!! Hopefully, there will be a write in candidate who actually has the wisom, experience, and personal resolve to make real change in Washington that will really benefit the electorate.

Because Hillary and the brothers "hear no evil" and "speak no evil" are not the ones to lead us in these times. They just happen to be the only options the two parties are allowing us to have.

Stop the Anti-Clinton Machine   May 1st, 2008 12:14 pm ET

Go away Mike Moore. Nothing Hillary does will please you so stop playing games.

Whitewash Review: Hillary's Scandals Will Re-emerge
By Tim Graham | December 8, 2007 – 09:55 ET

James David Dickson of The American Spectator reviewed our book Whitewash on Blogcritics:

"In the general election," counsels Jonah Goldberg, "audiences will remember Whitewater, Travelgate, illegal fundraising, bimbo eruptions and impeachment. If they don't, you can be sure Republicans will remind them. Fair or not, the Republicans' intense dislike of Hillary will underscore the idea that a vote for her is a vote for more of the same rancor."

Whitewash is a great place to start in producing this rancor. As to whether conservative journalists will have any success cajoling their mainstream brethren to join them, that, like Hillary's election next November, is far from inevitable.

Some conservatives have insisted that the Republican nominee can't win merely by offering negatives about Hillary Clinton scandals, even if Dick Morris did call her "The Tornado" for all the trouble she caused. It's not up to the GOP to remind people of Hillary scandals. It's up to the conservative New Media.

People still pay attention to this guy? Oh and Hillary voters stop it with the anybody who does not vote for Hillary is sexist nonsense.

Nick   May 1st, 2008 12:13 pm ET

DOESN'T HE GET IT . WATCH THE FEB. 25TH DEBATE @ CLEAVAND. SEN. CLINTON SAID SHE WOULD TAKE HER VOTE BACK. HES A TUB OF LARD!

Michigan for Obama   May 1st, 2008 12:13 pm ET

Hillary will never look back on this campaign and be disappointed with herself, unless she loses-then she will be disappointed she didn't go even more negative! She will say anything, do anything, including trying to scare white voters. Her husband said it best years ago, "If one candidate's trying to scare you, and the other one's trying to get you to think, if one candidate's appealing to your fears, and the other one's appealing to your hopes, you better vote for the person who wants you to think and hope." We need to listen to Bill in this instance, and vote hope.

ALECO1   May 1st, 2008 12:13 pm ET

HILLARY CLINTON IS THE MOST HATEFULL CANDIDATE TO EVER RUN FOR PRESIDENT. THE PEOPLE THAT VOTE FOR HER MUST BE JUST LIKE HER–HATEFULL. HER HUSBAND HOPES SHE IS ELECTED PRESIDENT, THEN SHE WILL BE TO BUSY TO CATCH HIM HAVING ANOTHER AFFAIR. DO WE WANT THESE PEOPLE BACK IN THE WHITE HOUSE—I THINK NOT.

NickNas   May 1st, 2008 12:12 pm ET

He was RIGHT about BUSH TOO! People STILL voted him a second term………Maybe you should Listen!!!!!!

RightyTighty   May 1st, 2008 12:12 pm ET

Ha Ha!!

Maybe my works not done after all…., one can only hope.

carolflowery   May 1st, 2008 12:12 pm ET

LOLOLOLOOLLOL, that fat cat is the one that scares people, only difference is he makes lots and lots of money scaring people

Snowcat   May 1st, 2008 12:12 pm ET

You idiot. People should be scared. they should be scared of a Pres Obama who is afraid to debate. Scared of an Obama that uses his friends(Wright) to get into politics and then throws him under the bus. Scared of an Obama who preaches "New POlitics" and then hires the same old party hacks to run his campaign and all of it's negativity. Why do people keep saying this man can unite the world/country??? He can not even unite the party in a year when the election should be a cake walk for Dems. If he had never entered this race(premature grab for power) we would have had our candidate and been well on our way to beating McCain. His rush for power will destroy our chances in NOv. That's right all the super liberals of the party go ahead and once again drag us to defeat.

HRC vrs. Peter Paul   May 1st, 2008 12:12 pm ET

HRC is going through a civil suit on many counts of fraud. HRC is a part of the special interest system that condones lobbying for legislation; she's a part of the problem. The Clintons picked up over 100 million dollars after leaving the White House; they'll do anything to get back in the White House

Scott ATL   May 1st, 2008 12:12 pm ET

I was going to get on here and say, "why can't more people see what Hillary is really doing?" But then I realized, They do! They just don't care. For those people it will be a cold day in hell before they will salute a black man for president. (However qualified he may be…)

That's the only way you can ignore her lying, pandering, two-faces, forked tongue. That's the only way.

Had Barack Obama said he was under "sniper fire" when he wasn't, would we even still be engaging in this primary process? Even the least fair-minded of you will have to admit, it's not right.

Shelly Lee   May 1st, 2008 12:11 pm ET

What an idiot……..actually she did apoligize for the Iraq war on one of the debates……………she doesn't need to scare anyone about Obama,
he scares people all by himself.

Jenna, NY   May 1st, 2008 12:11 pm ET

Bang on Michael !

Hillary will not apologise. Mark my words.

Dale Wise   May 1st, 2008 12:11 pm ET

Number of Delegates:
Indiana: 72
North Carolina 115

Don't be fooled. North Carolina is the big prize, not Indiana. If Hillary can't 'close the deal' and win North Carolina, then this race is over – despite what the media and the Clinton campaign portrays.

The Truth   May 1st, 2008 12:11 pm ET

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS THE TRUTH IN ALL OF THIS

sue   May 1st, 2008 12:11 pm ET

this was a GREAT interview by Moore.

He raised many good points and everyone should see this.

Hes talking about things the media refuses to report on because its not "good tv".

Obamaramadingdong   May 1st, 2008 12:10 pm ET

Here is a poster boy for Obama: Ultra-liberal, condescending, angry their choice has been exposed as a fraud, and blames Clinton for it, in other words, blames everybody but themselves!! SAD. I'm a life-long DEM voting for anyone BUT OBAMA

Darth Vadik, CA   May 1st, 2008 12:07 pm ET

Boo…

Are you people scared yet?

I know that a lot of people in Pensylvania are, you cowards.

Vig   May 1st, 2008 12:06 pm ET

So Michael Moore turns out to be just one more white male with a gender bias that he's not even aware of.
