(CNN) — Another former Democratic National Committee Chairman is backing Barack Obama. One day after former DNC chair Joe Andrew announced his support for Obama’s presidential bid, Massachusetts superdelegate Paul Kirk, who led the party from 1985-89, will officially endorse the Illinois senator Friday.

why is this not news cnn hannity glen msnbc oh because you do favors for your buddies just like the judge.

"In the landmark civil fraud case against Bill Clinton in Los Angeles, where the former President is charged with defrauding a Hollywood dot com millionaire to help Hillary Clinton obtain more than $1.2 million from him for her 2000 Senate campaign, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aurelio Munoz ruled on Friday, April 25, 2008 that Hillary Clinton would not be required to testify in a sworn deposition as a material witness in the case until AFTER the November election!."
“Had Senator Clinton be forced to testify under oath, as a material witness and beneficiary of the fraud that her husband is being sued for before the Democratic Convention, her remote chances for being nominated the party candidate would have been unquestionably destroyed.”
“Paul contends his case will expose "the institutional culture of corruption embraced by the Clinton leadership of the Democratic Party," which seeks to attain "unaccountable power for the Clintons at the expense of the rule of law and respect for the constitutional processes of government."

Hillary McCain   May 2nd, 2008 10:12 am ET

JG:

Too bad, you have already fallen for the media trap!

You and Hillary supporters just don't get it!

If Hillary was in FIRST place instead of LAST place, we would be hearing about Paul vs. Clinton, Dubai, Norman Hsu, Monica, Bill's other concubines, NAFTA lies, Columbia lies, Hillary's concubines, rapes and murders, etc … etc …

But because she is in LAST place, nobody cares about her dirty laundry. Obama is what's hot! Everybody in media wants to be first to find a BREAKING STORY that will send Obama packing, but the best they can do is a CHRISTIAN pastor who served in the US Marines and NAVY as well Pres. Johnson and Clinton!

Once the media realizes there's nothing on Obama, they'll go after McCain and is so called war heroics stories.

Too bad, the only thing Hillary's going to do on election day is voting!

Yes we can!   May 2nd, 2008 10:12 am ET

This is awesome,,,,depsite all the controversies and the division this circus has caused, it's amazing how he continues to get support and from "white male" superdelegates at that….it's sad how we have allowed the non-issues of this campaign to overwhelm the party and bring division….i keep hearing the media say people are concerned about rev. wright and the bitter comments…NO WE'RE NOT, YOU ARE CONCERNED BECAUSE IT'S GOOD FOR MEDIA/RATINGS….you're polling oppositions on this and not everyone….we know how to seperate obama from the non-issues…i'm just disapointed that Obama had to cut roots with leaders that have helped african amercians empower themselves to become more of what society has labled us to become….It was Rev. Wright that molded Obama and helped get this far….they both allowed "the crowd" to influence them. I pray they can reconcile, see what's good for the church, the community and the american people…I believe Obama will bring unity.

I wanted to make a comment about HIllary's pandering with this stupid gas tax holiday. I'm sick and tired of her supporters supporting this STUPID idea. Why don't you ask your candidate why she wants to take money away from the maintenance of our roads and bridges! Why does she want to take away over 300,000 jobs! But you know what it makes sense because she was pro-NAFTA and she supported her husband in all of these trade deals which shipped jobs overseas! So no wonder she doesn't care if 300,000 people lose their jobs due to her stupid gas tax holiday.

Have you listened to McSame talk lately? He says one thing one day and then takes it back the next……

Wow, Headlines say Barack is losing support as he gains superdelegates. He currently (with this nod) has 1733, needing 292 more delegates. he should pick up around 107 + next tuesday, leaving roughly 185 to get. The rumor mill around the nations capitol beltway has 80 + superdelegates awaiting tuesday to support barack Obama, leaving him needing around 105 or less. If you are a Hillary supporter, now is the time to donate your vacation money into her campaign. Don't worry about food prices or gas, if your candidate wins, you'll get a FREE HALF TANK of gas, only at the expense of around 7,500 jobs, not to worry tho, the Hillary dems are thinking more like the Reagan republicans. Who cares about the nation. I have what I have. I hope the fat lady is warming up her voice…….

The SD's know that Clinton will not win the GE. She is actually more inelectable than Obama. I just read the peter paul clinton case and now understand why she must win the election. If she loses, she is in very deep trouble when she testifies in november. She is not fighting for America, but for the white house immunity

Milwaukee for Obama   May 2nd, 2008 10:11 am ET

Kamyar Khavajian, please google the scandal of Paul vs Clinton and you will understand why the superdelegates are doing what they are doing. They know the repubs are not talking about that scandal because they will use it in the fall to finish Hillary and as you know they have exhausted all there is to pin Obama down with. I was also wondering why they would go to Obama instead of Clinton even after the Pennsylvania big win for Hillary but now I understand and I am like WOW, that scandal is huge!!!

It confuses me to see the big swing each day in the Obama, Clinton poll. A week ago, Obama was up by 7, now Hillary is up by 2…Just how bad are us democrats in making up our minds on who we want as our candidate in the upcoming presidential election.

I made up my mind months ago that I am for Obama…NOTHING WILL CHANGE MY MIND…I like everything about Obama, especially his platform. In particular, he will save me 6 thousand a year in taxes…I am a 65 plus senior that pays 6 thousand in federal tax each year. If Obama is elected, I will enjoy this 6M to spend and enjoy. …and I will definitely spend it, helping our economy. At least 30 million other americans like me will do the same and 18 billion additional dollars will be spent each year in the USA helping our economy. Of course, I like all the segments of Baracks platform. I truly feel he will turn our country around and get us going in the right direction.

Unto thyself be true…Hillary, a former republican is nothing more than a blowbag that tells everyone what they want to hear and will definitely do nothing if she was ever elected. Can't you read this in her phony smile and her monotone deliverance?!

I can't believe that so many are using the CLOWN Reverend Wright as a barometer to measure the true substance that Barack represents.
Reverend Wright is nothing more than one in millions of people who were and are a part of Baracks life. Nothing more. He has no control, or ever had any control or influence on Baracks thinking. Barack is his own man and truly cares for America and americans.

I strongly recommend the democrats in Indiana vote for Obama in their upcoming primary election. Barack will definitely win N. Carolina. With a win in Indiana, Hillary will definitely drop out and we can get on with substantiating our strength in the November election with Barack as the person who will strongly represent us.. Why prolong the agony…Barack is definitely going to win based on all the determining elements.

CNN IS not saying anything about Peter Paul like ALL OTHER NETWORKS Because Peter Paul is a professional liar who has four separate criminal convictions, two for fraud. His video repackages a series of seven-year-old false claims about Senator Clinton that have already been rejected by the California state courts, the Justice Department, the Federal Election Commission, and the Senate Ethics Committee.

Maybe CNN should talk about Larry Sinclair!

You are right about Peter Paul but I ask you, why were the Clinton's so closely involved with him when he is such a crooked guy? Have you even bothered to watch any of the video about this.

I am so glad that people are finally talking about this at least in this blog but we have to get it further before it is too late.

Several people here have written re Paul vs Clinton that Peter Paul is "American businessman, convicted drug dealer and securities felon, controversial political donor….". I don't know about you but it makes me wonder, what business on earth could the Clintons have had with this kind of person? How or why in the world would they have been in the same room let alone in any kind of business dealing with this kind of character. Why, knowing his background (can't have been hard to find out if all we have to do is go to wikipedia), did they choose to stay in that relationship? Makes you wonder folks, makes you wonder.

Indiana will deliver   May 2nd, 2008 10:09 am ET

To all those who say they wil not vote for the democratic nominee if it is not the candidate of their choice.

What is more important, your personal bias (and I have my own too) or what is the best for this country? The best for this country is to have a Democrat in the White House. I am an ardent supporter of Obama, but I will vote for HRC if she is the nominee even though I detest a lot of what she brings with her. McSame-as-Bush is the last thing this country needs. He is worse that HRC.

We need to move this country forward in new and significantly different ways because the realities of the world and our place in it is very different that what conventional US politics is all about. Obama has the vision and leadership skills to do this.

HRC has her own strengths, which is actually more suited to being a successfull Senator. She is a fighter, scrappy and ruthless. Those are great qualities for being able to get things done. Those are not the kind of skills that a great leader needs to be able to inspire, motivate people to be the best they can, engage the hearts and minds of a wildly diverse population and move us into the 21st century.

I really don't like the idea of Super Delegates. That is one of the reasons I used to be Republican because the people decide who the candidate is, not the higher ups in Washington. That being said, I think (not sure) that Obama is up 12-4 in Superdelegates since Pennsylvania and Hillary lost one who switched to Obama. Hillary won by 10 delegates in Pennsylvania. So, she has gained 2 delegates this week? Even if she wins Indiana it will be close and the delegates will split about 50/50 and Obama will win North Carolina. Hillary will be down in the delegate count for the last 2 weeks after that. I don't know how she can possibly win this thing. Someone explain how it is even possible.

If you call yourself a democrat and are saying you would rather vote for McCain then Obama if Hillary drops out, then you are a disgrace to your party. Step 1 is voting for the democrat you like, step 2 for those who don't get the person they like is still to vote democrat because in general the views are the same. Saying you will only vote for Hillary and not Obama in the general election is an early emotion reaction. You will be hurt that your democrat didn't make it, but saying you'll switch to McCain is just insane and will only hurt the party you claim to be apart of. Let the ideas and views of a party control your vote, not your emotions. Hillary supports need to take a deep breath, understand that there can only be 1 democrat nominee, and follow what Hillary will ask of you when she steps down. Endorse Obama for the democrats.

Joe   May 2nd, 2008 10:06 am ET

It never ceases to amaze me. How gullible we are, after the last eight years we still trying to elect someone who doesn't have what it takes to be president of these United States. First of all Mr. Obama is weak. It shows in the debates and that is the real reason he won't debate Hillary anymore. With all the money and votes he's had since day one, he still can't put Hillary away. That should tell you something. It takes a strong person with political savvy. Mr. Obama has not been groomed enough. He talks about change. What change? Insurance, the economy, and gas prices? What about foreign policy? When Hillary is president she will make those changes also and she already knows most of leaders from around the world. You have to be very naive to think she won't make those changes also. Hillary was already working with a politician running for president when Mr. Obama was still in school. Hillary is a strong politician with a mind of her own. She doesn't let the likes of the CNN media crew (loose cannon Jack, the yes (to Jack)lady Gloria, don't rock the boat Jeffery, the answer to politics roland martin and Soleda___)to dictate her campaign.
Mr. Obama doesn't have a mind of his own. He plagiarizes, he has done this all through his campaign cause he's weak. I think he reads the news and gets his ideas from the media. We will not see an improvement for the next two to four years if Mr. Obama makes it to the White House. The only difference we will see is the name of the party.

MaryQuiteContrary   May 2nd, 2008 10:06 am ET

I'm starting to see a little light. People are beginning to realize Hillary is just a crazy old woman. She is not the right first female president. She'd do women wrong. Obama is the right one, he has proved it, and he'll be the first black/white american president. He just as much white as he is black. But it makes no difference to me. I wish people would say he isn't going to win in the generals. The republicans want Hillary there because they must have more ammunition for her than Obama. They'd like to have her on the firing line in November because they are going to beat her down. Think about it. She's not real at all.

Elisabeth   May 2nd, 2008 10:05 am ET

Another one supporting a loser. A better strategy would have been to wait for another 4 years and secure a democratic Presidency this time. Clinton can beat McCain and Obama cannot.

Experience for Texas   May 2nd, 2008 10:05 am ET

What are all the Obama supporters going to say when the Electoral College smashes the Junior Senator Barak Hussein Obama and places another republican in the Whitehouse? At least he is a candidate who has more than 10 minutes of experience. It will be a sad day when we democrats have once again given the Presidency away because of a pipe dream!

P.S. CNN… I'm not sure where your facts are coming from, but EVERYONE I know that is voting for Obama will NOT vote for Hillary… it's McCain all the way. So Hillary supporters better be excited for another 4 years with a republican… or stop be RETARDED.

Carl Dupont   May 2nd, 2008 10:04 am ET

By next week. Clintons' machines will no longer able to change rules on their favor. The Democratic party does not believe them any more. Hillary was left with one argument; superdelagates. Now that they are gone, I do no know what else she will come up with.
She is a fighter!!!

Grant   May 2nd, 2008 10:04 am ET

The DNC has clearly had it with the Clintons,,,,,The is Peter Paul item is HUGE, why is CNN not reporting this, stunning actually..this speaks directly to the character, plus it is not the first time the Clintons got caught with their hands in the cookie jar…CNN find out who is on the list of donors for the Library, plus lets see who who also paid Bill $60M over the last 5 years for "speaking engagements" Do the math, at a max of $50,000 a pop thats 1,200 speaches or 200 a year?!……We know that Rove and the boys over at the Republican HQ definately know the answers to this and more and will be more than pleased to tell us in September…WAKE UP DEMS

The Clinton insiders know all of this, that is why they are jumping ship..she has gotten a free ride, who cares about Rev Wright, no one is talking about the baggage that the Clintons have that requires a barge to haul it down the Potomac!

This is what counts CNN. Counts not polls. I am a systems analyst and I know you can read stats and produce them to say whatever you want. Your polls only report what you want to say. That is show Hillary in the lead. The polls or stats you don't show favor Obama. I hate how the media interacts with the public like we're stupid. Even with the endorsements from delegates. More governers and senators, have come out for Obama. But you won't report that.

All 264 249 230

Well, I can't believe that the media is so hype covering how Obama is lossing in the polls. Well, how about showing the news coverage on the case to show to the rest of the country. There blood is on her hands! 23 voted against it why wasn't she number 24? What if it was your son or daughter killed by a sniper fire that she lied about then goes on tv and jokes about it!? Would you vote for her still? It boggles my mind when I see all of your comments how she is so great! Well imagine this. Your son or daughter is made to fight a war you do not believe nor do they, but thay have to go. then when day you get a call that they are dead! Because of a war that she helped vote for. She could have fought it! But she did NOT! So your son or daughter died for something that should have not happened! Now are you gonna still vote for her?

I just read the articles and now I know why the Republicans are helping her win the nomination and they (repubs) are not even talking about it now because they want it to come out so fresh and that will kill her immediately. All I can say is WOW!!!

Paul   May 2nd, 2008 10:01 am ET

Paul vs. Clinton has never had the media scrutinization that it deserves. The media feels the Clintons have had enough scrutinization over the years but the fact is they have not been fully scrutinized. They have had so much controversy that these controversies have never been fully vetted because the media could not focus on just one. The Clinton are the best escape artists in politics today. And if you dare try to bring up a legitmate issue they will whine and cry that they are being targeted unfairly and it is another right wing conspiracy. The fact is, they have never been fully vetted because the media is tired and bored of the Clintons. They have so much dirt to dig up the media just doesn't want to put in the resources.

Barbara GA   May 2nd, 2008 10:01 am ET

This is what I am taking about unfair coverage from the media. They rather tear down the chances of someone who truly believes that we must change the way we are doing business in Washington than report the truth about the Clinton 's way of life. These super delegates are moveing away from Hillary because they know the truth.
Another point like me many of Americans many years ago I wanted Hillary to run for president based on what her husband's record in Washington. But as time went on you saw Bill and George Bush Sr develope a very close relationship. It make sense about the 109M now. Obama is fighting a up hill batter as Hillary is already known but he has touched so many American lives with his message. It time to stop tell the truth about our country and the state it is in. I am hearing of many more job losts. I think Obama has real plan to get our country back on track. Making Changes in a New Direction.

I'm wondering the same thing. Why is the media blasting Obama with bad press and fueling the Wright issue while totally ignoring the lawsuit involving Hillary Clinton? Wolf Blitzer is one of the worst! He sounds like Hillary Clinton's campaign manager lately. Its no wonder Hillary's numbers are going up in the polls. The media doesn't want this to end. Their ratings are up as long as this primary goes on.

Dee   May 2nd, 2008 9:59 am ET

The sad thing is how long it is taking these people to stand up and support who THEY want to support. How they have to walk on egg shells so they dont upset the Clintons. . These super delegates need to stand up to the Clintons . They need not to be afraid anymore I especially applaud BIll RIchardson who did what he knew to be right in his heart…..rather than crumble under Clintons pressure. That takes a real honorable person who really loves this country to do that. But these people need to speed it up before we all die off.

Kamyar Khavajian   May 2nd, 2008 9:59 am ET

Paul Kirk, Joe Andrew, Bill Richardson do believe that it is not possible to withdraw our troops from Iraq, therefore they want to put the very very weak Barack Obama in front of McCain so McCain could easily defeat him. I can give you my word of honor that if Obama becomes the democratic nominee, McCain will crush him in November of 2008. Hillary is much stronger than Obama, but democrats just claim that they want withdrawal of our troops from Iraq which is not realistic. Therefore they will pick weak Obama. By the way if McCain wins in November of 2008 then it means in the last eleven presidential elections, republicans have won 8 times, while democrats have won only 3 times. Shame on all of us democrats.

Don from Canada   May 2nd, 2008 9:59 am ET

CNN you know Fair is Fair - RIGHT !
Your network has done so much talking and reporting about Rev. Wright where is the reporting on the Rev. William Procanick - the former Clinton pastor. He has been sentenced to three years in
prison for inappropriately touching young girl at his home. Now that Bill and Hillary Clinton’s pastor has been convicted of child
molestation, will we see the same furor directed at Hillary that Obama has had to endure these last few weeks?

What about reporting the Paul vs. Clinton fraud case currently in court and how the judge has supressed the trial until after the November election.

What about the story of Magnequench in Indiana, Hillary Clinton loves to tell the story about how the Chinese government bought a good American company in Indiana & laid off all its workers and moved its critical defense technology work to China. If she were president, Clinton says, she’d fight to protect jobs in Indiana. What Clinton never says is that the deal was approved by Bill Clinton's administration. Hillary once again thinks the Indiana voters have short memories. The plant was sold in 1995 and Billary actually approved the sale of the company. The Clinton campaign said she doesn't mention the role her husband played in the sale because it wasn’t relevant.

Come on CNN report the real news after all Fair is fair !

Shirley   May 2nd, 2008 9:59 am ET

Once again the DNC will probably nominate the weaker candidate and we're going to be stuck with John McCain. Obama is not strong but is a cult hero to the naive and he will not win a national election. It's not his minister that bothered me but the constant lies from Obama. It insults my intelligence to try to believe that in 20 years he never heard any of those sermons.

And BTW TOM…anyone can file a lawsuit and make any claim they want, it proves nothing. Republicans are great at creating scandals where there are none, just wait till you see what they do to Obama.

Brian from Fort Mill, S.C.   May 2nd, 2008 9:59 am ET

Three songs come to mind, and all of them by Queen:

For Hillary: "Another one bites the dust".
For Obama: "We will rock you".
In November: "We are the champions."

ladymary   May 2nd, 2008 9:58 am ET

One liar (Paul) against the other (Clintons). Should be interesting. CNN report on Paul vs Clinton and, like in the Wright case, let America decide which side is right. I myself don't want to elect a president who may be convicted of fraud and sent to jail in their first term.

ELGER   May 2nd, 2008 9:58 am ET

TO Anon is a liar…

The Article in WIKIPEDIA shows a criminal (PAUL) donating huge amounts to HILLARY's 2000 senatorial compaign to get a pardon
from BILL,following a similar pattern as other criminal, Marc Rich.

MARK RICH wAS SUCCESSFUL AND GOT HIS PARDON

As the PAUL issue found its way to the Press. HILLARY stopped it,
so that PAUL feels now cheated.

The reason that OBAMA's campaign is not following up this is because it would damage to much the Democratic Party. Obviously.
the GOP will use it should HILLARY be the candidate !

And the MEDIA ?? As "BITTER IN TAXAS" states:
"if they did, it would be the end of the Good Senator from New York, the primary would be over, and there would be No More News!"

ELGER

Sue, NY   May 2nd, 2008 9:58 am ET

I think it's time more and more start coming out for Obama and shutting this down. Hillary has divided this party like know one can. She is running more and more and sounding more and more like a republican. The words out of her mouth sound like Bush.
She is lying, pandering, aggressive and definately wrong for the country. She is sounding more like 4 more years of Bush than McCain. So if she should happen to steal the nomination then my choice becomes a choice between two republicans rather than a democrat or republican. And if that is the case I will choose the republican that has a little integrity left….McCain.

JG..if you are female, say goodbye to your right to choose if McCain is elected. All these people who are so vindictive that if their candidate does not win the nomination, say they are voting for McCain. You better think twice about that. There is more than you in this world. There is a future at stake for our children. There is a war that needs to end and to vote for someone opposite because you are pissed off is so childish. The world is so much bigger than us. CNN probably won't post this. They rarely post my comments..but if they do, please think twice about what you are doing out of anger. I am for Obama but I simply won't vote if he is not the nominee. I won't vote for McCain out of spite. That will get us nowhere.

Brian   May 2nd, 2008 9:56 am ET

I'm not sure why the CNN refuses to report on Paul vs. Clinton Fraud Case. I sent a couple of posts to AC360 on the blog last night and both were deleted by CNN.

Perhaps they are waiting for Verdict with Dan Abrams or Keith Olbermann's Countdown to break the story. (PS - I sent them links to the story yesterday)

Very Poor CNN. If your the most trusted source on News. All we ask is an answer as to why you wont address this story. Why?

Sen. Obama did not go with what Clinton and McCain thought would be popular with the people on the issue of a gas tax. This once again shows the BAD JUDGEMENT that Sen. Clinton has showned threw out this campaign. We need a leader who will not be afraid to tell the American people the truth, and I believe that person is Sen. Obama. He has sound judgement, and good policies that will strenghten the American economic, and issues dealing with American foreign policy. Sen. Obama is the real deal.

NC Robocalls: NPR uncovers more Clinton ties, shady dealings with WVWV

RJL for CHANGE   May 2nd, 2008 9:53 am ET

CNN has a responsibilty of fair reporting for both the Obama and Clinton campaigns. You have a responsibilty to report the Paul v. Clinton court case that is going on in the Los Angeles Superior Court.

The judge, on 4/25/08, stated that depositions could be taken from all of the other witnesses in the case against the Clintons (Larry King, Cher, etc.), except Hillary Clinton which can be delayed until after the November elections. Prior to dismissing the parties, the Clinton appointed judge stated, "tell my good friend Bill I said Hello."

Google Paul v. Clinton and access the original petition filed against the Clintons and see You Tube Vide taped conversation of her corruption. BTW, Hillary Clinton was fined by the FEC (this is a fact) for her part in attempting to hide the corruption that followed them from Arkansas all the way to the White House.

(I know that CNN will not post this message due to their contract of protection of the Clintons.)

Never McCain!!!!!   May 2nd, 2008 9:53 am ET

Has anyone noticed how much coverage Rev Wright has received lately. It has been over a month or so. John McCain can seek an endorsement from the devil and nothing. Not necessarily on CNN, but other news sources such as MSNBC. David Gregory has a million different ways of asking the same questions about Rev. Wright and Barack Obama. Let is go already.

The Media is afraid of the Clintons. I firmly believe that. Also, I feel if Rev. Wright had made those remarks about African Americans it would have gotten no play. A lot of people don't care when things affect African Americans. For example…

Just look how much coverage the female group in North Carolina is getting. None at all. You ask, what am I talking about…I understand that Barack Obama is the front runner, but GEEZ Hillary still has things going on. There is no mention of the all female group that supports Hillary trying to disenfranchise African American voters in North Carolina. Not a word. Why is that I ask?

It's good to see Barack Obama received superdelegates that he had to work for. These people were with Hillary because of her husband's relationship with them. You know at one point I didn't like Hillary, but now I'm ok with her. I'm for Obama, but I would vote for Hillary if she won the GE fair and square. Now that's not going to happen, but I'm just saying that I'm a democrat first (like most of us are) before anything.

remember her campaign fraud?   May 2nd, 2008 9:53 am ET

and another thing.. people here who say the drive- by -media(Rush Limbaugh's words) wont cover this because Paul is a dirty rotten criminal..yup thats true.. he is.. but they have covered Wright over and over to the point where most people are so used to it and over-saturated by it that it doesnt matter.. We know that the media isnt covering it (PAUL V CLINTON) because if the truth gets out they will be responsible for her ruin-ation! they are afraid of the Clinton-wrath the way many others have for years

JP   May 2nd, 2008 9:52 am ET

Let's compare:

Clinton has said only she and McCain are experienced enough to lead this country………yet, Obama has more legislative experience than she does (10 yrs to her 8 yrs).

Clinton has never said she wouldn't take lobbyists money……..Obama has said he wouldn't and he hasn't

Clinton has "borrowed" McCains ideas - most recently for a gas tax holiday - which no one with any idea about Economics is supporting - and then says "you're either with us or against us" - accusing congress of supporting big oil, when the gas tax has nothing to do with big oil - its government revenue!

Clinton has gone negative every step of the way…….Obama has tried his best, and for the most part, has not stepped into her gutter

And what about the Peter Paul lawsuit that is going to be heard in the CA Supreme Court in the Fall?

This woman has so much dirt on her - the Republicans will have a friggin' field day!

fairandstraight   May 2nd, 2008 9:52 am ET

Moore, we have looked that up. First of all, I think it's a lie. You have so many people trying to bring this man down. It reminds me of how they rejected Christ. While no man or woman can ever compare to Christ, there are times we are treated just like he was.

The Paul vs Clinton case is what many should be concerned about. Do we need a proven criminal in the oval office?

Obama 08!!!

April Garlow   May 2nd, 2008 9:52 am ET

The Democratic party chose Obama at the convention 4 years ago, to be their golden child. They then changed their own rules to(which they say on their web site) give minority voters more of a say in determining the party's candidate. This is the rule they quote as their reason for disenfranchising the voters inFlorida, Michigan, and the caucus states. They have tried to bully Hillary out of the race, they are telling the super delegates they have to decide in June, when they really are not supposed to play a role until the convention in August. They have done everything to manipulate Obama into office, but the voters have other ideas. Maybe next time they will find a way to leave all of the voters out of the process. Vote Hillary , if their Obama gets in vote Republican.

"""Trial date to be set in Paul vs. Clinton on February 21, 2008

The Case Management Conference hearing in Paul v Clinton et al on February 21, in Los Angeles Superior Court will finally set a trial date in the long delayed civil fraud case and it will set a schedule for discovery that will include the sworn depositions of the entire Clinton family and the Clinton hierarchy of the Democratic Party.

A trial was set for March 2007, but it was delayed due to an appeal of a lower-court's decision to dismiss Sen. Clinton as a defendant. The California Supreme Court upheld the decision, but Sen. Clinton, nevertheless, will be required to testify under oath along with her husband as material witnesses.

Seven years ago Peter Paul began whistleblowing to the government and alerting the media of numerous illegalities committed by Hillary and Bill Clinton in order to win Hillary’s first election to public office.

The multi-million dollar donor to Hillary’s Senate campaign that caused Hillary’s finance director to be indicted and tried in May, 2005, for hiding his contributions, and whose complaint to the FEC resulted in a finding that Hillary’s campaign broke the law resulting in the only FEC fine imposed against Hillary’s campaign, will begin the discovery process leading to a trial in Los Angeles later this year of the Clintons and others for destroying Paul’s public company.

Trying to save the sinking ship??? Won't work!

Obama is unelectable and has lost in the most important key states, Florida and Ohio, not to mention all of the other big states.

Sad to see a few superdelegates jumping out of the woodwork this week to try and divert attention from Obama's Reverand Wright and in hopes of saving Obama's faltering campaign just before the Indiana and North Carolina primaries.

A new poll out yesterday shows Hillary now leading Obama in North Carolina for the first time and other polls continue to show Hillary with a sound lead over Obama in Indiana.

The fuel tax cut proposed by Hillary is a good idea for some immediate relief at the pump even if it's limited and it's certainly better than doing nothing now as Obama has proposed. Of course Hillary is also calling for more long term solutions.

soy   May 2nd, 2008 9:51 am ET

Keep it coming for Obama. He's the only real hope this country has to redeeming itself both domestically and internationally. I hope the nation will realize this and rally around him. Rehashing this Paul vs. Clinton is an attempt to unjustly smear the Clintons by the desperate Obama supporters. Why doesn't your "mentor" tell you to let it go? Is he playing the Mr. innocent game again while others do his dirty work?

Here's an excerpt taken from Wickipedia.

Finding no luck in the courts, in 2007 Paul sponsored and promoted a thirteen and a half minute video titled "Hillary Exposed: The Case of Paul v. Clinton," attacking Senator Clinton. Her office responded "Peter Paul is a professional liar who has four separate criminal convictions, two for fraud. His video repackages a series of seven-year-old false claims about Senator Clinton that have already been rejected by the California state courts, the Justice Department, the Federal Election Commission, and the Senate Ethics Committee."[45] In January 2008, he also re-filed his complaint with the FEC.[46]

Emeka, Florida   May 2nd, 2008 9:51 am ET

Q: Who made the nomination rules?
A: The DNC national committee

People, do not get too agitated. The DNC made the rules, and surely they'll follow the rules they made. The about 300 remaining superdelegates to take sides are mostly DNC national committee members. Obama only needs win either NC or IN, and keep it close in the state he looses, to seal the nomination. By May 7th, we will have our own presumptive Democratic candidate.

Remember, you heard it first from me.

I am voting for Hillary in November. If she is not the nominee, then I must decide between Obama and McCain. I will not simply vote for the Democrat. I will have to make that decision when it presents itself. And I'll be honest, I'm not sold on either. I've always voted for the Dems, and I can't say that I'm behind what I've seen happen. For the first time everyone will get a say in who the nominee gets to be, and all the voters get is this "end the voting" mantra. Terrible. I'm ashamed of the DNC right now, not because the primary has gone on so long, but because the leaders won't let it run it's course.

Who by the way could not even have a drink of water at a white only dinner in the past without getting lynched, The only difference between now and then is that the media has put a "White Only Sign up through looped tape and talking head's , who are direct descendants of the Washington branch of America's corporations. Hillary is a DEEPLY FLAWED candidate. Hillary's CHEAP SHOTS AND LIES make her UNTRUSTWORTHY AND UNELECTABLE!

Obama wins NC by less than 5% after being up 18% just 2 weeks ago, he loses Indiana by more than 5 points to continue his oh-fer in midwestern industrial states he doesn't live in, he will be solidly behind both Clinton AND McCain in the national polling after this weekend….and he'll still win the nomination just by attrition due to the idiotic Democratic primary rules.

Talk about backing into a nomination and limping into a general election. This is a nightmare. This guy is not who I thought I was voting for. I want my vote back in Missouri.

Oh my.. what's this?   May 2nd, 2008 9:47 am ET

A few months ago, Peter Paul submitted to a polygraph examination to answer a few questions about the business relationship with and promises from Bill Clinton. Clinton induced Paul to become Hillary's largest donor, the largest donor ever to a Senate campaign, with the promise that he would come aboard Stan Lee Media when he left the White House. Hillary, of course, was in the middle of it all.

Pursuant to the experienced polygraph examiner, Peter answered the questions truthfully. When Hillary swore under oath that she knew nothing of the business arrangement, she was lying. She has tended to do that when she is under oath.

Chelsea Clinton was witness to the arrangement and told witnessess at Barbra Streisand's home on Aug. 13, 2000 that the family stayed up late after the Aug. 12 Gala playing Scrabble and discussing how excited they were that dad was going to work for the man who created Spider Man (Stan Lee). Hillary has set up her own daughter to have to lie for her to protect her political future.

CNN REPORT THE PAUL CASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

IT'S FACTUAL, RELEVANT AND SPEAKS TO REAL ISSUES OF CONCERN ABOUT THE CANDIDATES - MUCH MORE THAN FLAG PINS BEING WORN OR NOT ETC,,,

Kayln: By what measure do you say the momentum is on Clinton's side? She won PA. She was supposed to. But look at the numbers that matter. Number of states? Obama. Number of popular votes? Obama. Number of Delegates? Obama. Number of Super Delegates? Clinton, but it'll be tied by Tuesday. She's lost major ground on that, so I'm curious the method that you use to cone to such a conclusion.

Paul vs Clinton   May 2nd, 2008 9:47 am ET

This is looking less and less like a struggle between two candidates and more and more like a struggle within the Democratic party over its own identity.

The Democratic party will be reborn under Obama, with doors open for a new kind of political leadership, in which politicians return to the simple idea of serving the public. Those whose horizon has never extended beyond the next election will be moved out; those whose ideas never extended beyond the last poll will be shown the door.

Want to lead this country? Only those who put the concerns of the people ahead of their own ambition need apply.

Look back the Democratic party history
When Joe Andrew ,Paul Kirk were Democratic National Committee Chairman we lost the presidential election
Guess what will happen in 2008
If Obama nominee Mc Cain will be the 44th President

Belle   May 2nd, 2008 9:46 am ET

PS
If you really are in a QUEST for TRUTH, why don't you just go to FACT CHECK and read about the case?

Senator Clinton doesn't have to MAKE UP Drama about Obama…he manages to do that quite well, all on his own!

Matt   May 2nd, 2008 9:45 am ET

C'mon Obama supporters. This Paul v. Clinton thing is not what this should be about. Talking about an undecided legal case should not be the basis for deciding the future president of the United States. This kind of political tactic Obama has come out against. I want him to be president as bad as the rest of you, but I want it to be done in a way that is honorable.

Clinton supporters: What is up? You are going to vote for McCain if she loses? Obama and Clinton are closer idealogically than Clinton and McCain. If Obama loses, I will vote for Clinton. My values more closely resemble the two Democratic canidates than it does John McCain. Think about it. What are the reasons you want a canidate?

Mike   May 2nd, 2008 9:45 am ET

To all you NObama supporters who keeping stating: "Now, all we need is Edwards, and Obama is in…"

You had better watch out, for he might support Clinton, either or, Edwards has lost his prestige.

Now, if GORE endorses Senator Clinton, NObama is toast!

Go Hillary!!!!

Either or, NObama-Odumbo will not win the General election-too much controversy, the Republicans will squash him.

Jo Schmoe   May 2nd, 2008 9:45 am ET

Who cares if Joseph Andrews endorses Obama! Nothing would convince me to vote for Obama. If he is the nominee, Hillary supporters will write her name on ballot or vote McCain.

kty   May 2nd, 2008 9:45 am ET

Guess where Joe Andrew the person who jumped to Obama camp works?
Joe Andrew who jumped ship to Obama.. guess where he work?

He is a partner at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP , a 700 member law firm. They gave over $75K to Obama.

Here comes the money connection.

Yes anon you are right. All over Canada bloggers talk about it. Can you imagine impeachment from day one for Hilary…
Thanks Mr. Kirk you did the right choice

Valerie   May 2nd, 2008 9:45 am ET

If Pat Buchanon and Joe Scarborough is for Hillary, then you know something is up. The GOP wants Hillary to win, because they think Barack will be harder to beat.

Get Real   May 2nd, 2008 9:44 am ET

Super delegates are a joke. For all of you thanking them for their "support", just remember that they are taking power away from the people which equals politics as usual in my opinion. One man, one vote….period!
