Bill Clinton going to church with superdelegate Shuler

Schuler is a first term Democrat.

WASHINGTON (CNN) –- Former President Bill Clinton will attend Sunday church services with North Carolina Congressman and uncommitted Democratic superdelegate Heath Shuler in his district, CNN has learned.

Shuler, a freshman congressman, is expected to announce Monday that he will pledge his support to whichever Democratic candidate wins his district in Tuesday’s primary.

The former NFL quarterback represents North Carolina’s 11th congressional district, which encompasses Asheville and the rural areas west to the border with Tennessee.

Given the demographics of Shuler’s district, Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) is predicted to win there on Tuesday. Shuler was heavily courted by President Clinton over the last several weeks. He also attended a meet and greet session at the Clintons’ Washington home earlier this spring.

It is time for the Clintons to Pucker Up!!! This will be the only way the nomination gets handed to them. With all the lies and deceit that they have going on, I can't believe many Americans feel that she is best suited for the job. No wonder this country is going deeper in the gutter.

I love all Americans, really, I do. I do pitty some of you, though on a lack of critical thinking skills. This especially applies to "GoHillary", a pro-Hillary blogger from another one of the previous message boards. She said that we are lying because we think the proposal of a "gas tax holiday"is a horrible idea and is an effort to merely pander. This blogger mentions the "windfall profits tax" that Obama supports as well. What this blogger fails to realize is that Hillary Clinton is NOT AN EMPRESS. She can't just wave a wand and make it magically happen. What do you think that the "climate change doesn't exist and that the oil companies are NOT ripping us off crowd" in Congress led by Alaska's Ted Stevens and James Inhoffe are going to do with that proposal? Just say, "Okay"?
They are gonna filabuster and filabuster until the issue is dropped. And even if they can be outmaneuvred...HILLARY HAS ALREADY PROMISED THAT THE PROCEEDS FROM ANY WINDFALL PROFITS TAX ON THE OIL COMPANIES WILL GO TO ALTERNATIVE ENERGY RESEARCH. SHE IS SPENDING THE SAME $9 BILLION TWICE!!!!!

Stumping in church, stumping on the back of a pick-up truck, have these people no shame left? I once respected and defended the Clintons; never again.

There is something very wrong going on with our "free press": not one mention of the Paul v Clinton suit anywhere. It is extremely disturbing. I do believe they are gearing up to rob Obama of the nomination. Remember, he is about cleaning up Washington politics and the media are part of Washington politics...there's a lot more money in staying dirty.

she would have to take everywhere left by 70% for a convincing argument and that won't happen. She's just handing this contest to the republicans. Those superdelegates want to get re-elected and if they upset the popular vote, they can kiss politics goodbye. Also, even if you count the fl votes, she is still behind.

It's about time that the blacks in North Carolina start casting their
votes not based on race, but based on their generous hearts and clear minds.

    Reward yourself with your vote
Reward yourself with Peace and Prosperity.

Hillary is the one to lead the country out of eight years of GWB muck.....war, bad economy, and a staggering national debt. The people of Indiana and North Carolina will see that and vote for her on Tuesday.

Obama offers nothing but a lot of pretty words and hot air....and the 'audacity of hype.' He has four fatal flaws.....no experience, no substance, no character, no judgment.

The only vote I would give to Obama is the vote of.....NO CONFIDENCE.

Hillary is the best qualified candidate. We need the candidate that will win in November , Sen. Obama's attendance for 20 years in a radical church will lose the Democratic race if he is the nominee. Super Delegates please make the right choice. The Urgency of Now was not about Obama.

HELLARY CANT DO ANYTHING BY NEXT MONTH.. SHE IS JUST ONE SENATOR. NOT THE ENTIRE CONGRESS. AND NEVER WILL BE PRESIDENT..
EVEN IF SHE COULD SOMEHOW MAGICALLY AS A SENATOR MAKE HER FAIRYTALE GAS TAX HOLIDAY COME TRUE....THE OIL COMPANIES WILL JUST ADD ANOTHER .18 CENTS TO THE PRICE.
WHEN ARE YOU GONNA WAKE UPAN REALIZE OBAMA IS RIGHT ..
WE MUST LEGISLATE ACROSS THE ISLE..TO STOP THE GOUGING BY THE OIL COMPANIES..
THEY'RE CHARGING WHATEVER PRICE THEY WANT.
THEY SIMPLY PICK THE PROFIT MARGIN THEY WANT..AND TACK IT ON TO WHATEVER THE COST IS..
THERE IS NO SUPPLY & DEMAND IN THE PICTURE. THEY DON'T WANNA BUILD MORE REFINERIES.. THAT WILL COST THEM $ AND INCREASE THE SUPPLIES WHICH WOULD THEORETICALY MAKE IT LESS EXPENSIVE FOR US ALL. BUT WHY WOULD THEY SPEND MONEY SO THAT WE ALL CAN SAVE AT THE PUMP.? THEY WOULD ALSO CHARGE US MORE PER GALLON TO RECOUP THE COST OF THE NEW REFINERIES..
THE CURRENT REFINERIES ARE ALREADY DEPRECIATED TAX WISE AND LONG SINCE PAID FOR. THEIR OVERHEAD NO LONGER INVOLVES CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS OR EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT OR PROCESSING PLANT INFRSTRUCTURE. THEIR BIGGEST EXPENSE IS WAGES.
QUESTION: IF OIL COST MORE, THEN WHY DOES THEIR PROFIT CLIMB BY RECORD AMOUNTS EVERY QUARTER ..
AS I SAID THEY SIMPLY MAINTAIN WHAT EVER PROFIT PERCENTAGE THAT THEY CHOSE TO ENJOY . SO NO MATTER WHAT A BARREL OF OIL COSTS..THEY ARE GUARANTEED THE SAME/+ PROFIT BECAUSE WE WILL PAY WHATEVER THEY CHARGE US.
THAT IS WHAT BARACK WANTS TO CHANGE. MAKE IT ILLEGAL TO GOUGE US. FEDERAL PRICE CONTROLS. NOT TAXING THEM MORE.. WE THE CONSUMERS NEVER PUT THAT $ IN OUR POCKETS ANYWAYS, SO MORE TAXING OR LESS TAXING IS POINTLESS. WE ARE THE ONES WHO ULTIMATELY PAY THE TAX..NOT THE OIL COMPANIES.
BUT A PENNY SAVED IS A PENNY EARNED.
NATIONALIZING PETROLEUM AND GREEN FUELS IS THE ULTIMATE WAY TO CONTROL PRICES. WE CAN PUT FOWLKES TO WORK BUILDING U.S. GOVERNMENT REFINERIES. AND CREATE PERMANENT GOV'T JOBS JUST LIKE THE POST OFFICE AND GSA.
AND LET THE OIL COMPANIES BEGG US TO BUY THEIR FUEL..:)
CONTINUE TO SWITCH FROM FOSSIL FUELS TO HYBRIDS GRADUALLY JUST LIKE VENEZUELA & BRAZIL HAVE.
BYE BYE SAUDIS....:p BYE BYE SHELL & EXXON
    HELLO LOW LOW FUEL COSTS..;)
WE GET TO USE A NEW LOWER PROFIT LIKE THE OIL COMPANIES USED TO EARN AND A NEWER LOWER TAX FOR NATIONWIDE INFRASTRUCTURE.. HEY ..EVEN HEALTHCARE.:):):)

    obama 2008
NOW YOU SEE OBAMAS LONG TERM APPROACH..

HELLARY IS HAVING ANOTHER SENIOR MOMENT WITH HER FRIEND JOHN MCSAME..

America Remember to go to church Sunday. Jesus is comming back real soon and I tell you America politics and fame won't matter and they cannot save you either or take you to heaven.
Bill Clinton better pay he ten percent in church Sunday because God do not like stingy people who want it all for themselves.
All democrats after all these nonsense partisanship is over you all must unite behind one and only one candidate to get the white house back. It is a must democrats to support your nominee and if you do not do that shame on you.

Really, is that all it takes to win super-delegates? Go to church with them? Play a round of golf? Watch a football game with them? Is that really all it takes? I guess I had politics figured out all wrong! North Carolina, do the right thing and vote for Barack Obama!

I am an Obama supporter, but I do not understand why folks feel the need to be so shrill and downright 'mean.' Bill Clinton has 'stepped on it' more than once during this campaign, but he has every right to work hard for the candidate he supports ... who is also his wife.

Guys, barring another serious flap on the order of 'Wright,' it is all but over. It is time now to 'pull ranks,' and become a real team. And by the way, if it went the other way, (and if by chance Hillary defies all odds,) I'll keep registering voters, organizing and attending rallies, and anything else 'value added' that I am asked to do ... within my power and schedule.

So, rather than trying to be cute on blogs, why don't you folks take the time and make the effort to provide 'value' to this election cycle on behalf of Democrats.

As most of you already know, Barack Obama has gotten himself into another controversy regarding his apparent arrogance and apathy towards regular Americans. In a private and well shrouded fundraiser amongst the rich elite of San Francisco, and in the mansion of Pakistan native and ardently Muslim millionaire Sohaib Abbasi (CEO of Informatica), Obama was recorded saying: “You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are going to regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.” In the same speech, Obama is also recorded as saying that: “When people tell me they’ve all stressed about racial discord, well, you know, try slavery for a while,” obviously playing on the sentiments of these highly affluent (White and Arab) people who would basically presume that if you have dark skin in America you must therefore be connected in some way to slavery, although, as we all know, this is CLEARLY not the case.

He definitely won't lose NC - Clinton would have to win five out of six non-black votes for that to happen - but if he doesn't win it by double digits, he's got problems.

This point is no doubt lost on BO's misty-eyed legions.
