Bill Clinton going to church with superdelegate Shuler

Schuler is a first term Democrat.
Schuler is a first term Democrat.

WASHINGTON (CNN) –- Former President Bill Clinton will attend Sunday church services with North Carolina Congressman and uncommitted Democratic superdelegate Heath Shuler in his district, CNN has learned.

Shuler, a freshman congressman, is expected to announce Monday that he will pledge his support to whichever Democratic candidate wins his district in Tuesday’s primary.

The former NFL quarterback represents North Carolina’s 11th congressional district, which encompasses Asheville and the rural areas west to the border with Tennessee.

Given the demographics of Shuler’s district, Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) is predicted to win there on Tuesday. Shuler was heavily courted by President Clinton over the last several weeks. He also attended a meet and greet session at the Clintons’ Washington home earlier this spring.

  2. SO SAD MARY

Mary you are the typical uneducated clinton supporter. You better vote for Obama , so you can learn how to spell North Carolina, and learn how to write. As far as I know, clinton doesn't have a education plan. Please listen to the news so you can use you mind, and not be taken for wind fall of lies.

Bill Clinton, if you're fighting so hard for Hillary to essentially have your own third term, be aware that if she wins; she will no longer need you for a thing!

It's also true that you two should have had a "pre-nuptial".... since most of the millions were earned by you!

UNDER THE SAME CIRCUMSTANCES AS OBAMA HILLARY MIGHT HAVE VERY WELL STAYED IN WRIGHT'S CHURCH AS OBAMA DID,. THOUSANDS OF WOMEN IN AMERICA HAVE SAID THEY WOULD NEVER HAVE STAYED WITH BILL CLINTON AFTER MONICA,, THE LIES, AND THE IMPEACHMENT LIKE HILLARY DID. WHO IS SHE TO JUDGE OBAMA?

Hillary cannot win nomination unless she wins all remaining contests by a margin of 39% (not 9.4% she got in Pennsylvania). That means, unless Hillary wins North Carolina and Indiana by 38% (that is 69% to 31%) in order to show any hope of winning Democratic nomination. Its time for Hillary to stop dreaming this year.

I'd be looking very, very closely at voter fraud if Obama doesn't win NC.

Maybe Bob needs to learn to spell lose before he criticizes Hillary. Hillary will win NC – Obama is losing ground.

Isnt it the prerogative of an American to attend church with whoever he wants to?Why does every action of the Clintons get twisted and distorted?I truly believe as an international observor that Clinton has weathered many storms and is ready having proved her grit and determination to lead the nation.Well if Obama can do the same is yet to be seen

It is noteworthy that at this point the Obama supporters are wary of everything that they perceived is against their rock star candidate...well folks, the honeymoon's over..this is the REAL thing and looks like your candidate is showing the stuff he's really made of. Obama just can't and will not close the deal for you.

Hillary's chances of winning are diminishing by each day. Hillary need to win all the remaining contests by getting at least 70% of the popular vote.

Its time for DNC and Superdelegates to end this bickering and lies from Hillary before President Bush hands over the keys to John McCain.

Right wing groups have all of a sudden befriended with HRC so that they could destroy the democratic party and diminish any chance for Obama to win come November.

Good for you Bill... Just remember not everyone is a turncoat fairweather friend like Richardson. I am sure the sermon you hear will not be anything like that which Obama listened to for twenty years...oh I forgot he never heared any of those from Rev Wright...Yeah right. Hope Mr Shuler comes out for Hillary...Since Obama can't win in the general election.

Hillary was aked by the press who her favorite horse was for the Kentucky Derby and she had stated "The fillie" (a reference to her perhaps?)

Eight Belles, a fillie, finishes second and breaks both front ankles and is euthanized on the track of Churchill Downs.

If Hillary broke both her canckles, they could just drain them and provide enough gravey for 1000 people for 6 months.

Its so very odd that the difference between Obama's superdelegate count and Clinton's superdelegate count hovers right around 22 at all times; his come and hers go....but he never gets closer than 22 or so!

Hillary, just scrub off the make-up; get yourself some blue and black men's suits; cut your hair shorter and slick it straight back; put on a white shirt, tie and men's shoes; and go on and seal the deal. You would then be everything that the country wants.

We all know that you have the "testicular fortitude"!
