It would do more harm than good in the long run. HRC, I've noticed, has been increasingly playing off folks' fears. It's much easier to manipulate people when they are fearful. Look at how Bush was able to convince (manipulate) folks into going to war in Iraq. So you may save 25.00-30.00 over the summer in gas. Is foregoing the safety of roads and bridges less important than the few bucks HRC or McCain is willing to throw your way for a minute?
