Clinton: GOP win in November 'more of the same'

CNN

Watch a clip of Sen. Clinton's speech Tuesday night in Indiana.

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (CNN) - Hillary Clinton claimed victory Tuesday in the Indiana Democratic presidential primary, but pledged to work for the eventual Democratic nominee "no matter what happens."

CNN has not projected a winner in Indiana because the race between Clinton and rival Barack Obama, who won Tuesday's North Carolina primary, remains tight.

"We know how desperately people want to see a change, and it will not be a change if the Republicans keep the White House," the New York senator said. "It will be more of the same - something that no one, no matter what political party you may be, can afford."

I think Michelle Obama was right in her speech last week, saying they
    keep raising the bar.....

Hillary needs to step down now, she is ruining the democratic
party with her continued path of feeling that the whitehouse
belongs to her, the people have spoken and continue to speak.

    Stop this Hillary, go home.

As much as I would like my voice and choice to be heard (Obama), Michigan and Florida broke the rules and should not be counted. I think the National Democratic Party needs to punish state party officials next time, but this time they have stick to their threat of not seating our delegates. We as voters should vote out the party officials responsible, not take it out on the democratic candidate in the fall!

Why did Hillary bring up Michigan and Florida votes yet again? Don't her campaign advisers ever stop to think that maybe the SMART voters in those states DID NOT participate in the primaries because they knew it wouldn't count? It was agreed before the primaries that these would only be "beauty contests". Those delegates should be seated at the convention, 50-50.

    She'd make one great president.
It's terrible gender stereotyping to charge that she should "give up" and "give in" and "sacrifice" her own ambition. A man would be praised for perseverance.

Typical Clinton tactics. Trying to get people to think any Republican or Conservative elected is going to be just like George W. Bush. The really sad thing is that some people believe this.

I will be glad when the Fl and MI votes are settled at the end of May. I am really tired of Hillary and her people whining about them. Let them have a vote. If you look at the numbers, even with Fl counted, Obama won. Now you can't expect to count MI. Obama was not even on the ballot. So put him on the ballot . OHHHH , that is how Clinton plans to win the nomination...exclude Obama from the ballot.

Obama simply cannot win nation wide. The country is at war. We are in a recession and things are only going to get worse. Do you really want an newbie in there? Holding hands and singing is not going to get us out of this mess.

As a moderate Democrat.....if Hillary does not get the nomination I'll vote for centrist McCain, simply because I'd rather take a chance on "more of the same" than have a Far Left puppet like Obama in the White House.

Obama will NEVER get my Democratic vote! Nope!

Everyone and every news organization can spin this all they want for ratings or wishes, but in the end this is how it will go...... The SUPERDELAGATES.... and Hillary will get it...because The SUPER DELAGATES realize that HALF of Hillarys supporters will either NOT vote, or vote for McCain, while only 20 % of Obama's said that. That's a win for her and a loss for him, and the Dems won't let that happen. He will have to wait until 2016 and pay his dues first they will tell him.

    CNN
It will take days to wash all that egg off your collective face. I finally made the switch to get the real news. You can continue to prop Clinton up if need to but realize you continue to loose creditably daily. Fox is more "fair and balanced than CNN. You have become a Clinton puppet.
For days now you have tried to sway this election in favor of Hillary...well, it did not work. Crawl back in your hole and try to return with some of your past honesty.

We love you Hillary. Keep your head up and stay strong. I will not vote for Obama in November. Again, I will support you to the very end. I beg you to run again in 2012 if the democratic party elect BO. The republicans will EAT HIM UP AND SPIT HIM OUT. I just donated $100.00 to you @ hillaryclinton.com.

I thank you and bill for helping this country in our time of need.

Why does Obama refuse to allow a revote in Michigan and Florida? There is only ONE REASON. He knows that he may not win when these 2 states are counted. Otherwise, he would have allowed those two states the right to participate to show his "graciousness". What kind of politician is willing to suppress votes in order that he wins an election? The worst kind, the dictators and tyrants from whom we fled to this country. And Obama has the audacity to claim himself a better kind of politician? Only people younger than 30 will believe in his words. We look at track record. The ani-Iraq war vote that Obama cites in every speech was not cast because of his intelligence, but because of the ideology that he shares with his pastor who believes that 911 was our fault. I knew from the outset that it was all about his personal ambition, even before the news broke about how he sat in the church listening to rubbish for 20 years. He may not believe those sermons, but he surely enjoyed all that rubbish, or else he would not have wasted his time listening to them. I could not sit there for a minute listening to this kind of insult by his pastor to our humanity and our great nation. Obama only cut his ties to his pastor in order to win our votes. He should have shown the wisdom before his presidential bid.

I am sick of seeing Nobama playing the race card and he won all the black vote in North Carolina. This fake and dirty politic will bring him down if he win our party nominee. Shame on you Nobama. 2008 is for Hillary.

God save us, this is what we will say if obama gets the nomination. All you have to do is read the nasty empty headed posts by the obama cult. You have to be pretty dumb to believe his crap. He will promise to raise the dead and you obamadites will say I BELIEVE!!! He will never never never never never win against Mc Cain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only that can save us is Hillary!!

I'm agreeing with Jeff Toobin on suspicion on why the votes from Lake County is taking so long. And the fact that Hillary gives a victory speech when a county that seem to favor Obama is not counted. Could we seeing Florida 2000 happening in Indiana ? Honestly the DNC needs to get their act together if they intends to win 2008 election. I'm begining to like the Republican Party at least for their unity.
