Well, then half of her supporters are downright stupid, because Obama wins the nomination regardless of what she does here (no way the Democratic party overturns the will of it's voters), and if they sit home or vote Republican, they can kiss their Roe vs Wade and their liberal court protections goodbye for an entire generation, as McCain puts 3 conservatives on the Supreme Court.

Great plan.

I would never vote for Clinton - She won't do anything for me, or for the best interest of this Country. All she has done is proven that she's out for her best interests - She will say and do anything to scrap and beg for votes - I don't trust her - she constantly panders to voters and employs Carl Rove tactics to scare voters hit the fear factor and create these empty promises -

I hate how bitter both sides have become, all these threats from both sides about not voting if their candidate loses - I'm one example of it and I would hate to have another 4 years of 'Bush' politics but frankly McCain is much better than Hillary - I at least trust that Man, and i'd rather have a Pres' who I can trust!

I am an Obama supporter that would NEVER EVER vote for Hillary Clinton. And this is funny because I supported her before the primaries started. What changed my mind were the unhanded, negative, and nasty tactics she has used in this campaign. Not just her but Billy Bob also. I admired Bill for years but he has also shown an unfamiliar face during this political season: an aggressive negativity seems to run in the family.

Hillary is a professional politician and that's the problem!

This is the most disappointing news and poll of all time.

CNN, the media and you uninformed, bigoted Democrats who do not understand what your decision could mean will be the ruin of this country.

VOTE DEMOCRAT, or VOTE GREEN PARTY, but anyone who would vote for another Republican in office must not have understood what that has caused the last 4 years.

And CNN, if you continue to publish this kind of media-attention crap, you will be guilty of swaying the public to an untimely and unfortunate outcome.

Polls.. Smolls,...

It will be a Rare stupitidy that would make a democrat vote republican over the welfare of his own family, no matter what they say in the exit polls which are the most fleeting of all.

It seems more to me that the posting of polls is for influencing results, not reporting them.

My country matters more to me than the Democratic Party. Also Obama's nasty, hateful supporters have turned many of Hillary's supporters against their candidate. If Obama is the nominee, this lifetime Democrat will vote for McCain.

Hillary Clinton was originally my choice in this race. Barack Obama looked good at first and I was waffling. The lid came off for me with J. Wright and the United Church of Christ.

As a Clinton supporter and a lifetime democrat, I am sorry to say I cannot remain faithful to the party if the nominee is Obama. This would seriously compromise my values and belief's. The pundants especially DNC officials are making a huge misjudgment in thinking everyone will kiss and make up by November and the democrats will go on to victory.

This really comes as no shock. Hillary draws those that are like her. Bitter, mule-headed control freaks that would rather drag the party (and country) down than let their favourite lose.

Doesn't really matter though.

McCain vs. the Broken and Divided... isn't really going to be much of a contest.

The media and others didn't like Clinton and so they went after her without vetting this unknown candidate, Obama. He has done absolutely nothing, has no important legislation, has no record in Congress, no proven record of working across the aisle, arrived in the Illinois state legislature under questionable circumstances - he had his legal team disqualify signatures in a very long painstaking process, he and his wife subscribe to the Black Liberation Theology - who can hear it in their voices and he is very naiive and incompetent. etc. etc.

We are not that extreme to the left, has seen the bias and John McCain is the better alternative.

At least Obama supporters are smart enough to know that we can't have 4 more years of the crap we've had the last 8 years. Way to stand up for your party...and support the people's choice......for the good of the country and all that........

Man...now that I think of it, I don't think I'd vote for Clinton......wouldn't want people to think I trust her.

Obama is the only choice in 08

What we have is what I have been reading for along time: a great many silent Hillary supporters are angry and bitter that the media, Obama and campaign staff, and the democratic party itself, have been stealing this nomination from the best candidate--she who beats Obama in every category, except in speeches. We are bitter, we are angry, and our voting for Obama will only reward people for their blatant lies, denials, and manipulations.

I am all for Obama and hope the country comes to it's senses. There have been too many years with deceiptful Presidents. It's time for the Bush/Clinton regime to end. McCain is just an extenion of Bush jr.

I know some republicans have been voting for Hillary so they could turn their final vote over to McCain in the fall. Due to that, and the lies Hillary has been caught in, I can vote for neither if Obama doesn't get it.

My options are:
1st - Obama
2nd - Nader
3rd - None of the above

Simmer down, simmer down.

McCain picked this high news day to announce who he would appoint to the courts. Was this so us Democrats would not notice?

He said he would appoint judges in the mold of Alito!!

Think about it, both Obama and Clinton would appoint better judges. Allowing McCain to win and appoint more right-wingers to the courts because you feel spurned is very dangerous...

If Obama wins I am voting for McCain...I wouldn’t do it out of bitterness. I simply think he doesn’t have enough "balls" do be our president...Clinton may be hard, she may be pouncing on Obama but I see it as he working hard to get what she wants and I think that is what we need in a president.

Indiana and North Carolina does not make up the whole United States. If this election is perceived to be fair, I think democrats will come out to support either democratic candidate. If we end up in the Supreme Court trying to determine who our nominee is, then we will have a divided party and we will have 4 more years of the Bush Administration. I don't think this country can afford to another 4 years of Bush.

This shows you how Hillary has fought in this election. The only way she could stay in the game is to smear and divide.

And she was willing to do it, if thats what helps her.

A good candidate would be interested in what staying in the game through these tactics would do to her party and her country.

A scary choice.

I love for Obama to win the primaries and fall flat on his face on the general election. Either Hillary or McCain for me. Democrat party could do whatever they want but not sitting two of the largest populous states is not going to help the party. Black versus white. Do the math and see who will win. Democratic primary is different in that blacks are mostly democrats and they bring very strong leverage to Obama but not in the general election. Enough said Democrats, please do the math and see where Obama stands in the general election.

Hmm... so supporters of Clinton are also supporters of McCain???? What does that tell you about Clinton's priorities? Are they really that different than what we've seen coming out of the Republican Party? If Hillary's "experience" puts her on par with all the other white male Repubs, that's enough for me to vote for the candidate with "little" experience.

More confirmation that Obama supporters will vote for Clinton (even though they don't like her) in much larger %'s than CLinton supporters will vote for Obama (because they simply don't feel he's qualified or experienced enough). It's more than enough to tip the entire election to McCain. Remember, far more registered Democrats have voted for Clinton than Obama (more than 1 million). His (tiny) lead in the popular vote (if you don't count MI and FL - even though those millions of voters actually DO exist) is due to his receiving more Republican and Independent votes, esp. early in the primary season. Who do you think those voters will support in Nov.? McCain of course. Obama cannot win the general election. The demographics are stacked against him. Clinton is the only hope for the Dems in Nov.

This is because alot of the Clinton supporters are really Republicans trying to mess things up on marching orders from "el Fatso" Rush Limp-bone. None are real Democrats...

Have no fear, alot of this talk is emotion. Once Obama is the nominee, teh choices for america will be simple - 4 more years of Bush policies from John McSame or something new. Pretty sure ther aren't too many people happy with Bush / McCain policies right now...

I think this shows that this election is to important to play games. The Obama supporters know we can't keep going like we are. However, I will not vote for Hillary under any circumstance. That sounds silly when I want unity in the party. I just think her views line up to well with the republican party. I have lost all respect for her and her husband. They are panderers, and the worst liars ever. If she is given this nomination, I will register as an independent next election.
