i don't understand how there are still people who thing this "holiday" will benefit anyone but the people who set the prices at the pump.
i would not cast a vote for 300,000 people and families to lose their jobs for the sake of a few dollars that i may never see.

When the DNC meets at the end of May to decide the fate of FL and MI, will it be an open meeting or behind closed doors?

I think it needs to be open door and every word from each and every participant published.

I don't believe it. All true democrats want this to end now except Hillary who want to prove she has some fans, so childish. She couldn't be careless of the future of the DNC. She is just trying to prepare for 2012 regardless if in the mean time she spoils everything for her so-called party. The only party that interest his the Clinton camp with their deep pockets.

If Obama was for real change he wouldn't have blocked the vote or re vote for Florida, I thought he says he isn't the politician, what happened to that, why wont he let the people speak, or is he not for the people or just not for the people that aren't for him, how can anyone say that we should allow this to happen, that a whole state should not count, Obama should be kicking and screaming to get that vote in, but why isn't he?

The process should continue.

Both Obama and Clinton needs the superdelegates to reach 2,025.

The fundamental wuestion is who is the stronger candidate in the fall?

To me without a doubt, CLINTON!!

Without the support of the media like they giving Obama, Clinton is fighting back.

Clinton is tougher!!

For those of you who are saying Obama is winning is b.s. since Obama can't reach 2025 in pledged delegates either so neither candidate will win at the end of this race without the superdelegates' votes. The race is still tight, let the remaining states vote including Michigan and Florida cause our flag has 50 stars, not 48!!!

People who support Sen Clinton aren't stupid. I'm a little sick of the supporters of her Democratic opponent who say we are. Not only does Sen. Clinton have the best plan for our country, she has the backbone to carry it out, and the political skills to defeat Sen. McCain to carry out those plans.

This is one N. C. white male college graduate who voted for Sen. Clinton.

Oil is up again and obviously Obama does not want to help consumers. He wants a long time solution...because he has received a lot of funding from them....which he denies of course. And he just doesn't have the energy to do anything right now. He looks like he's taking downers all the time. He can barely keep his eyes open and he hesitates and takes forever to complete a sentence. What is wrong with him?

If you look at gasoline prices, they began a steep increase shortly after the Bush adminstration began. The Clinton administration kept prices down because it was a priority for Bill Clinton.

Since gas prices are not a priority for Barack Obama, watch the prices soar during an Obama administration. Even McCain would be better in that one area than Barack Obama.

I hope everyone voting for him drives an energy efficient vehicle and live next door to their jobs because things are going to get really dire if Obama is elected. And there are a lot of dummies still voting for him.

Obama for president, he knows the duties of being president, whereas HRC, is quick to obliterate, without getting her facts, or supporting detail to make such a decision, just making statements. This is pandering on her part just to get a vote, and this is her opportunistic behavior showing through, not even concerned about the people and she is not transparent. People will have buyers remorse voting for her.

prolonging the race has done nothing but hurt our party. hillary's attempts to tarnish obama's reputation through negative campaigning has only diminished her image as a worthy candidate in my mind. if it came between her and mccain, i think my conscience would make me lean towards mccain.

the only one's who want this democratic race to continue are republicans and the media. speaking of the media, cnn: why haven't you done any reporting on "message force multipliers"? If you want some real news, do a google search!

What is this with the "not until we count FL and MI" stuff?

Even counting those "contests" as-is and giving HRC wins in the remaining primaries puts Obama as the winner anyway.

We need to unite now.

It is obvious from the comments on Obama and Clinton that the higher educated people tend to support Obama and the less educated people tend to support Clinton. Now just to make everybody angry, a lot of the comments on both sides are totally STUPID. Maybe democracy doesn't work. Put that bit of elitism in your pipes and smoke it!

Hillary want a green initiatives and after the I-35 bridge collapse in August, wanted to improve the nation's highways and bridges. Now she supports McCain's proposal for a gas tax holiday, despite economist's advice that such ill-conceived idea is short-sighted and counter-productive. She didn't do her homework or required reading (Intelligence Reports to her) before authorizing the war in Iraq. She did not do her homework before touting her latest scheme!

Whatever EXPERIENCE she may have, she certainly does not appear to have learned anything from it! At least she is consistent with her small-minded and hare-brained campaign. If the Lady who brought self-service to the public service is good enough for Ohio and Pennsylvania, I understand why their economies are in the doldrums!

Clinton says Obama should not be leading the race in States Won or Delegates Pledged after all he's …. not 100% white, poorly educated, uninformed, and elderly, nor does he support her gas plan for a 90 day period, during which Bush remains President and Congress, economist and environmentalists accept that her ill-conceived proposal would pull the rug out from under highway improvement construction projects and construction workers.

It looks like she didn't do her homework reading intelligence reports before approving the war in Iraq, which has siphoned trillions of dollars away from health care, education and job creation initiatives. It looks like she didn't do her homework on her gas holiday gimmick which is acknowledged to be counter-productive.

Hillary is obviously a slow-learner or a hypocrite or both! That however may explain why the rust-belt states of Ohio and Pennsylvania that support her are in the doldrums

Another obamian spewing hate and insulting voters by the millions.

When Hillary had 100 more superdelegates a couple of months ago, it was at that time the DNC should have voted her as the nominee. Its never too late.
Go HILLARY all the way.

The Democratic primary should end NOW...after this Indiana and North Carolina voting is over. Otherwise get use to the name, President John McCain. And...unless the Democrats want to really cause a major uproar and convince the voters that their vote doesn't count, they should make Obama the nominee.

Roger - you are completely misinformed. Obama has not played any race card, in fact he has been remarkable in his ability and resolve not to play the race card throughout his political career. Bill Clinton and Ferraro made STUPID ill-advised statements that spoke for themselves. Obama didn't have anything to do with it.

Perhaps you didn't see the update on the NAFTA story and/or the apology Obama received from the Canadian govt. Perhaps you haven't heard of Mark Penn. Perhaps you missed the part where Obama won 94% white Iowa. Perhaps you forgot that, while Obama was building his momentum and support, a multitude of articles were written to the tune of "is he black enough?" and questioning why he does not have the support of the black community. Perhaps you have blindly failed to see what a disgusting campaign Hillary has waged, complete with deceit, pandering, flat out LIES, and maudlin theatrics.

ps. what are "speaches"?

clinton says she for the democratic party??...BS! She is only thinking about herself and the "clinton" ego. I'm pretty sure that if it was the other way around where Obama was trailing clinton on delegates, he probably would of conceded in her favor for the sake of the party!

Obama ability to bridge the gaps between both parties is such a key essential for next President and NONE of this Right and Left -- Red States/Blue States....

If the evil forces had not stirred up the Rev. Wright issue, the contest would be over and Obama would be the nominee. If the situation doesn't end McCain is a shoo in.

Unless.....Al Gore steps up to the plate!

The MEDIA is creating skewed polls like this because the MEDIA wants it to keep going!!!

The LONGER this goes the MORE RATINGS the media gets.

Why not report on something that Americans should know about to make a biased decision. Forget Wright, how about Peter Paul vs Hillary Clinton. Why hasn't that case gotten ANY coverage?

The primaries should go on until June 1st. Mr Dean exhibited overkill

with regards to FL and Michigan. As an independent I blame Obama

for his part. He could have agreed to a revote as the financing was in

place. He is just another politician - a junior one at that. As far as I can

remember the United States number 50 states not 48. I hope the DNC

get what's coming to them for not solving this and Mr Dean's overkill

punishment. America should be a voice for all the people. Shame on

you Obama.

Oh get real.

No one wants the campaigns to continue; each voter wants his/her candidate to win, and for that to be final. The sooner the better.

Stupid polls.

I have been saying this all along! This is what the nomination process is all about. It's too bad the Republican's didn't have the chance to make theirs exciting. McCain won by default since Romney and Huck split their votes. Romney is looking better and better every day. It's too bad he didn't win the nomination.

If there all still majority of democrats who want this battle to continue, then they must not be concerned with the economy. This is a boxing match that has went on too long. It's time to throw in the towel. This on-on gossiping over foolish and idle things is how politics mislead you into playing their game. Do the right thing. Vote and be done with it.

I get it now!!! I've seen this poll everywhere now... its obviously a shady representation, but the goal of it is clear... the media wants this battle to continue and they need a poll that will give them a defense when they make that case tonight after we find out they split IN and NC.

"Well Wolf, they split NC and IN, and a new poll today shows that a large majority of Democrats want this contest to go on."

If the validity of this poll and analysis of the questions asked in it are not scrutinized by... lets say, 7pm EST today... I guarantee you this will be the spin coming from CNN and ABC.
