Ex-Clintonite makes press-release goof

A former Clinton staffer is now pushing a unity ticket.
A former Clinton staffer is now pushing a unity ticket.

WASHINGTON (CNN) - Old habits die hard, a long-time Hillary Clinton supporter proved this week when he sent out a press release from his new organization with press@hillaryclinton.com as the contact address.

Sam Arora, a Clinton aide for three years, made the goof Tuesday in a press release for VoteBoth, which is pressing for a ticket that would bring the two Democratic rivals together.

The release said "press@voteboth.com," but linked to the Clinton campaign's generic media e-mail address.

Arora said it was a simple mistake caused by his using an old Microsoft document to make the new one.

"I didn't realize that, when you do this in Microsoft Word, you have to look at what the html says," he said. "This was just me being technically unadvanced."

Collusion between VoteBoth and the Clinton campaign would be illegal, since VoteBoth filed with the Federal Election Commission as independent of any candidate or its committees.

Founded a month ago to promote a ticket with Clinton on top and Sen. Barack Obama as vice-president, VoteBoth was retooled last week to say either candidate could lead the ticket.

Its founder, Adam Parkhomenko, is a die-hard Clintonite who was 17 years old when he launched an online drive in 2003 to draft her to run for president in 2004. He went on to become the right-hand man of Patti Solis Doyle, the Clinton campaign director who was ousted in March after a string of Clinton defeats. Parkhomenko left the campaign soon after Doyle did.

The launch of VoteBoth - originally called Clinton/Obama '08 - prompted muttering in the blogosphere about ongoing links between Parkhomenko and the Clinton campaign.

Parkhomenko said at the time that the effort was his idea - but Tuesday's press release may get the bloggers buzzing again.

Oh, by the way, this country can't afford to pay "reparation". We can hardly afford to pay Social Security, thanks to those who have been running it since it's birth.

The face of Hillary Clinton that she has exposed to us is not the face of a person who would be willing to be second in the Presidential hierarchy.

Also, I have found her attack behavior to be malicious. Happily, my candidate (Obama) voiced his intent to run the rest of the campaign in a respectful way.

Hillary can be a good president in China, Russia or Cuba. Not here. The simple idea that she wants superdelegue to give her to nomination even though she is behind, make me feel she will be the first female dictator in the USA even far from Bush. this will send a wrong message to our kids that it is ok to steal. Wake up people let's protect our democracy

The Clinton's team has played out every trick in the book. Before she was saying Obama wouldn't have the leadership needed with people like Osama bin Laden out there, she was pumping up the "Dream Team" (re: a vote for me is a vote for the dream team). Now she is winning states by getting heavy Republican votes...sweet.

Being that she really is a republican (you can check that out for yourselves), she and McCain would make a great team. Of course, while they are working, Cindy and Bill will be all over the place...

Please let it be known they will not be a dream team between Hillary and Obama. It can only happen in Hillary's dreams. Not after what the Hillary camp did to Obama. One fun thing I have never seen Obama attacking Hillary the way her campaign was doing towards Obama. Obama has people around him to pick up for VIP ticket
. "NOT HILLARY CLITON'. Thank you for your suggestion any way.

Obama has Bill Richardson and many others I did not mention on this site. Obama has money to go on with the race we the people are providing the funds, therefore we do not need Hillary for the VIP.
Hillary switched me off when she started to tell lie after lie, go home with your husband and child. Obama proved tough fighting, Bill, Chelsea, Hillary and McCain. Obama 2008 YES WE CAN.

What will it take a physciatric consultant to tell Hillary Clinton its time to quite. She is borrowing money from herself, watchout that she is not hiding funds for the General Election as according to the declaration of Paul vs Clinton she had to be forced to report funds raised by fundrasing to the Federal Election Commission FEC further the declartion reads Hillary made 3 -4 false reports to the FEC an so on hiding funds for the General Election for her Senate race. I was watching the news when showing Hillary making her victory speech in Indiana her husband Bill appeared he might drop any moment.I hope she don't push Bill to his death to campaign for her. Bill it is time to just say NO! to Hillary.

Let us Pray: Our Father which art in heaven hallowed be thy name. Touch the hearts of the voters to show them that it is time to get behind Barack Obama for President. TOUCH THE HEARTS OF THOSE DEMOCRATS WHO VOW TO VOTE FOR McCAIN IF BILLARY DOES NOT GET THE NOMINEE, WE CAN NOT GIVE UP BUT GET BEHIND SENATOR OBAMA AND SUPPORT HIM HE WILL WIN THE PRESIDENCY.PLEASE GIVE US ALL THE STRENTGH TO DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO HELP. DONATE, MAKE CALLS, WALK PRECINCTS. YES WE CAN!!! THANK YOU LORD FOR GIVING US THIS GREAT CANDIDATE, BLESS HIM, PROTECT HIM FROM ALL EVIL AND HARM. AMEN.

The idea of a joint ticket is so such a bad idea on so many levels. He stands for new, she is old. He stands for honesty; she does whatever it takes to benefit her (not the people). And to that, please do not forget that should something happen to President Obama, the Vice President would become the President. My speculation, given her need to be the president, is that something horrible would happen to him some after he was sworn into office.

If he was a Clinton aide 3 years ago why does he still have a document with her email address on it. Give me a break, this is not a conspiracy theory, it is a typical Clinton tactic. This is what Hillary and Bill do. They lie, manipulate, and cover-up. If Hillary has 35 years of experience in anything it is lying, manipulating, scandals, controversy, and cover-ups. Between her and Bill they are by far the most experienced in these fields. This is yet another example of a Clinton scandal.

    No thank you.
She can be head of some committee or something, but forget the vote both.
I don't think I could take another 8 years of Billary....

And people who think they won't vote for the winning Dem if its not your choice, just to remind you, McCain has made a special point of saying he would appoint very conservative justices to the Supreme Court should he get the chance....
    Nuff said.

Perhaps this is another tactic she picked up from her covert buddy, Carl Rove.
I agree with a blogger that Sen. Obama has an uphil battle. This race is tied to race. White blue-collar, non-college educated voters would rather vote for a white woman than a black man. For shame. I'm sure even for this population of constituents, voting for a woman was tough too.
