What a bunch of self-serving crap! And the timing! So typical of the Clinton campaign tactics. There is nothing in this letter but manipulation...no proposals, no solutions...just trying to make Obama look bad. Listen, it would be totally unfair to seat Michigan because Obama wasn't even on the ballot since he was following what the DNC had decided. And so many Floridians didn't even vote because they knew their votes weren't going to be counted. If Florida and Michigan were counted as is, it would be totally unfair and not representative of . Clinton can't catch Obama anyway, either in delegates or popular vote, so it's a non-issue.

Obama took his name off the ballot in Michigan. He did this in order to isolate Hillary and pit Iowa and NH against her. He gambled and he lost. He also ran a campaign there to have people vote uncommitted. Hillary was smart and left her name on the ballot. She did not campaign there in any manner whatsoever. She should get all the delegates or at the very least all of the delegates that she earned. The delegates resulting from the uncommited votes should be split between Hillary and Obama based on the percentage of her win (around 55% (not sure of exact %)). In Florida, Obama ran a national campaign ad despite agreeing to not campaign there. His name was on the ballot (he learned from his Michigan mistake). Hillary did not campaign there at all. These votes and the delegates should be divided as they voted. Because Obama willingly took these actions, he should not be rewarded for them. He knew what he was doing and therefore he should not benefit from cheating. Hillary and Obama should debate the matter in front of the American people and each lay their case for why the votes should count (Hillary) and why they should be suppressed/disenfranchised (Obama). Seems fair to me.

What about the large portion of voters who didn't vote because they knew it wouldn't count??? Most of them were African American. I don't care if you love, like, or hate Clinton you have to see that she only cares about FL and MI because its in her best intrest. If she was so worried about disenfranchising voters, seating the delegates would be sufficient. In the end that's what matters. But since she's trying to make the popular vote arguement, delegates aren't good enough. I am a Obama supporter. If he was trying to pull this crap, I wouldn't be behind him. It's not up to her or Obama to decide the party rules. First of all they all voted for them, including her. Now that the numbers are against her and she wants to change the very same rules she voted for. And second, Obama should be the last person that she should have face to ask for help in changing the party rules (that she also approved). It's unfortunate that Florida and Michigan challenged the rules. Everyone wants votes from there to be counted but how, this is the problem. We all know that there wasn't a real contest there as most of the people knew that even if they voted their votes would not count. Hillary is not offering a solution, just propaganda. Maybe they should all sit down and vote on new rules for the next election, and when they decide something for the next election to make sure not to allow individuals to even try changing rules afterwords.It just sounds pathetic.

If Obama does indeed have the nomination already, then what harm would it do? If he agreed to a plan to seat the delegates in Florida and Michigan, it would probably help his chances of winning those states in November. It would be politically stupid to refuse to seat the delegates of Florida and Michigan at this point in the race.

I’d like to see Obama start delivering on some of this so-called Change he promises, since he has yet to do that. His background and actions make him look like quite the Washington Insider, who is very comfortable with the new brand of lobbyist and doesn’t mind ignoring votes of states that don’t go his way (Does anyone else feel that this is reminiscent of W's election by the Supreme Court, and not the people?).

I mean, if he’s so superior, if he’s so much in the lead, if he truly has the clamp on the popular vote – why doesn’t he stand by his message and call for them be seated? No revote required, no money spent.

But, he won’t do that. Probama Nation will continue to sling mud at Hillary, while calling foul (or, most often, racist) when someone on the other side points out the mud on their fingers. Talk about dividing the party.

the clintons used to be my favorites. i even liked them when obama was running but NOW i am so disappointed in both hillary and bill. Hillary's behavior reeks of desperation. I for one don't want a potential president that crys for votes, brings race into the equation and is willing to do asnine things for votes (gas holiday-- 100s of economists and two nobel laureates agree that it is a stupid idea that won't help anyone). I guess Clinton's supporters aren't really into crazy things like "science" and "numbers" though. I'm really disappointed that she can't understand that she isn't helping the Democratic Party by hanging on......it's time for her and Bill to face the facts and get behind Obama. I ran to my voting bureau (Oregon) to make sure I registered as a Democrat in time to participate in the primary.....and DEFINITELY will be voting for Obama!
