What a bunch of self-serving crap! And the timing! So typical of the Clinton campaign tactics. There is nothing in this letter but manipulation...no proposals, no solutions...just trying to make Obama look bad. Listen, it would be totally unfair to seat Michigan because Obama wasn't even on the ballot since he was following what the DNC had decided. And so many Floridians didn't even vote because they knew their votes weren't going to be counted. If Florida and Michigan were counted as is, it would be totally unfair and not representative of . Clinton can't catch Obama anyway, either in delegates or popular vote, so it's a non-issue.

Obama took his name off the ballot in Michigan. He did this in order to isolate Hillary and pit Iowa and NH against her. He gambled and he lost. He also ran a campaign there to have people vote uncommitted. Hillary was smart and left her name on the ballot. She did not campaign there in any manner whatsoever. She should get all the delegates or at the very least all of the delegates that she earned. The delegates resulting from the uncommited votes should be split between Hillary and Obama based on the percentage of her win (around 55% (not sure of exact %)). In Florida, Obama ran a national campaign ad despite agreeing to not campaign there. His name was on the ballot (he learned from his Michigan mistake). Hillary did not campaign there at all. These votes and the delegates should be divided as they voted. Because Obama willingly took these actions, he should not be rewarded for them. He knew what he was doing and therefore he should not benefit from cheating. Hillary and Obama should debate the matter in front of the American people and each lay their case for why the votes should count (Hillary) and why they should be suppressed/disenfranchised (Obama). Seems fair to me.

You agreed, Hillbilly that the votes wouldn't count, how can you write such a letter to Obama, you are living in a pipe dream world, where anything you agree to does not mean that is what you really mean. How can we trust you to run this nation. You are done and I'm soooo glad you lost. I hate looking at you and hearing that schreechy voice, a liar, and a cheat.

Why is Obama blocking a revote if he is confident that he is the most desired candidate?

Seems ironic to position yourslef against the voters whose votes you need in Nov.

She is shameless. I mean come on, Hillary! YOU LOST. Even with those delegates seated, you do not have enough. How do you seat delegates in a state that YOU were the only corrupt individual that actually left your name on the ballot.

This is more of her pandering for sympathy! You're supportors have big mouths but they don't seem very interested in actually supporting you monetarily, now do they?

I wish Obama could just pay your debt and send you home once and for all. Where is home again? PA? NY? AR? No one really knows.

You Clinton supporters are a piece of work. You blame Obama because he agreed to the rules ALONG with Clinton. When things don't go your way you all act like racist little children. Just remember the world is watching to see what kind of USA you want to be. You have a chance to move towards a brighter future and all you want to do is sling mud so your pathetic lying, manipulative candidate can win. You all need to grow up (I think pre-school children are more intelligent) and stop grasping at straws. Thankfully it sounds like you are in the minority and that common sense will actually prevail this November. GO OBAMA !!!

((((Please for the love of the country, accept this. I have full confidence that the DNC will find a way to seat the delegates. But this postering in the public to TRY and make yourself look good is failing big time.)))
Adam…..
That is the very problem I have with Hillary…she has NO love for this country. She is shamelessly selfish and only cares about winning for herself. Even a blind person, who has never seen her detached face, and only heard her cold words… could tell this. But since you are reading this...that means YOU can see so OPEN your eyes because this is truly pathetic.

What about the large portion of voters who didn't vote because they knew it wouldn't count??? Most of them were African American. I don't care if you love, like, or hate Clinton you have to see that she only cares about FL and MI because its in her best intrest. If she was so worried about disenfranchising voters, seating the delegates would be sufficient. In the end that's what matters. But since she's trying to make the popular vote arguement, delegates aren't good enough. I am a Obama supporter. If he was trying to pull this crap, I wouldn't be behind him. Wrong is wrong and I would not follow someone so blindly.

P.S.:If this is a "personal plea" why does CNN have it???

Yeah... she's consistently said that... NOW

But when her supporters on the Rule Committee were pressing for it, where was she?

Oh and... why did her campaign just now decline Michigan's plan to seat the delegates?

Oh yeah... cuz it only gives her a +10 delegate boost instead of a +18 boost... why? Cuz it doesn't honor the votes...

AH!!!!!

MI and FL is a dead issue. Get over it. If the democratic voters of those states want to take their anger out on someone, it should be their spineless elected officials who didn't represent them when they had the opportunity to make a difference (kinda like the super idiots are failing the rest of us today) before the primaries even started. Good bye Hillary!

It's not up to her or Obama to decide the party rules. First of all they all voted for them, including her. Now that the numbers are against her and she wants to change the very same rules she voted for. And second, Obama should be the last person that she should have face to ask for help in changing the party rules (that she also approved). It's unfortunate that Florida and Michigan challenged the rules. Everyone wants votes from there to be counted but how, this is the problem. We all know that there wasn't a real contest there as most of the people knew that even if they voted their votes would not count. Hillary is not offering a solution, just propaganda. Maybe they should all sit down and vote on new rules for the next election, and when they decide something for the next election to make sure not to allow individuals to even try changing rules afterwords. It just sounds pathetic.

If Obama does indeed have the nomination already, then what harm would it do? If he agreed to a plan to seat the delegates in Florida and Michigan, it would probably help his chances of winning those states in November. It would be politically stupid to refuse to seat the delegates of Florida and Michigan at this point in the race.

why is it that people can't see through Hillary's fakeness and push her aside i mean we don't want a president that is just doing it for herself but for the people of the U.S. i mean we don't want another bill clinton in office.look at this way is this a fight for Hillary's pride or for the people?there are other things i would say but like obama says change is best, which is what he is trying to change in the white house tradition.

I’d like to see Obama start delivering on some of this so-called Change he promises, since he has yet to do that. His background and actions make him look like quite the Washington Insider, who is very comfortable with the new brand of lobbyist and doesn’t mind ignoring votes of states that don’t go his way (Does anyone else feel that this is reminiscent of W's election by the Supreme Court, and not the people?).

I mean, if he’s so superior, if he’s so much in the lead, if he truly has the clamp on the popular vote - why doesn’t he stand by his message and call for them be seated? No revote required, no money spent.

But, he won’t do that. Probama Nation will continue to sling mud at Hillary, while calling foul (or, most often, racist) when someone on the other side points out the mud on their fingers. Talk about dividing the party.

Mrs. Clinton’s letter to Obama sounds like the voice of a desperate witch crying in the wilderness.
Let Mrs. Clinton hang on to her selfish interest and continue even beyond the nomination of Obama.
She can as-well decide to form her own Democratic party, nominate herself and contest along Obama against McCain.
The news of Rep. David Bonior endorsement of Obama will be the sweetest news today.
Edward and Obama are my political mentors.
Edward and Obama represent the new face of American politics. The days of the Clintons, the bushes are over and over for good. The American people are wiser now.

Hello from Canada! Sen. Obama This is margaret from Canada. We applaud what you and your campaign represent.. It is time for America to step into the 21st centurary with the rest of the developed world. Please do not ask Hillary Clinton to be your running mate. Hillary is a representation of the old washington style politics you are trying to "Change" Would you consider John Edwards? He champions for the poor and is more in line with your brand of politics.

Heavenly Father,

I pray now in the name of Jesus that you would convict all individuals who have hate or unrighteous judgments due to a person’s skin color or gender. Father, I pray for salvation for those who are lost. I pray that you would forgive those who act and say things out of ignorance. Father, I now pray for all candidates that you would protect them from the wicked devices while on this campaign trail. Father, may you put words in their mouth that with edify You and the American people. I pray that You will bring forth your perfect will for us a President that will be lead by Your Spirit, that will guide us on a righteous path as a country, that will seek You for wisdom and insight concerning us a nation, that will think of this country as a whole and not a selfish ambition for themselves, and above all will love You and seek you for counseling concerning all things. Lastly, I pray your word that says that we should love one another as Christ loved us, for He loved us until the point of death. Father, help us to remember that you sent your Son here to teach us to love and to forgive one another of each short comings. Also, help us to know that when you see us You don't see color but you see spirit which is our heart. Help us to remember that no man can enter into Your kingdom that break your law of grace. Father, I thank you for forgiving us even when we can't forgive others, I thank you for loving us when we can't seem to love each other, I thank you for being merciful to us even when we can't show mercy towards others, I thank you for patience even when we can't be patient with each other, I thank you for not judging us as we judge each other, and above all I thank you Jesus for dying for our sins because without your death and blood shed we would TRULY die in our sin.

Amen!

AMERICA WHEN WILL WE GET IT RIGHT? JESUS HAS SET A PATH FOR US TO WALK RIGHT IN SO WHEN WILL WE DECIDE TO TAKE IT?

((((Please for the love of the country, accept this. I have full confidence that the DNC will find a way to seat the delegates. But this postering in the public to TRY and make yourself look good is failing big time.)))
Adam.....
That is the very problem I have with Hillary...she has NO love for this country. She is shamelessly selfish and only cares about winning for herself. Even a blind person, who has never seen her detached face, and only heard her cold words… could tell this. Open your eyes because this is truly pathetic.

When is CNN going to report Hillary's shrinking super-delegate lead.

Isn't this her ONLY hope?
Inst this trend just the opposite of what Hillary needs to be nominated?

2 weeks ago her lead was 22 SD.
1 week ago her lead was 16 SD.
3 days ago her lead was 13 SD.
Yesterday her lead was 12 SD
Today her lead is 8 SD.

the clintons used to be my favorites. i even liked them when obama was running but NOW i am so disappointed in both hillary and bill. I've lost a lot of respect for them. what you agreed to in the beginning is said and done. like the previous writers because she is losing now she wants to change the rules. that is an act of desperation. it is not good for her or the country. she should bow out with grace and dignity. help heal this country. we are all one people in this great country-white, black, asian, whatever and we should all have this great country at heart. everyone should be pleading with hillary and bill to try not to damage their image more than it is being damaged. let us not try to destroy each other for the sake of self, it is sad. let us all pray for this country and all of our politicians who will be leading this great nation and in turn the world. help to bring our children home from Iraq and use those billions to re-shape this country in education, prisons, jobs, etc. GOD bless AMERICA

If Democratic party want to win comming November election for new President. Democratic party shpuld nominee Hillary clinton, only she can defeat MacCain.
Otherwise it is very dificult to win. Obama is very good speaker, but having no experiance and too young he can wait another 4 or 8 years. He has a future. If Obama really love America then he should wait .

Hillary's behavior reeks of desperation. I for one don't want a potential president that crys for votes, brings race into the equation and is willing to do asnine things for votes (gas holiday-- 100s of economists and two nobel laureates agree that it is a stupid idea that won't help anyone). I guess Clinton's supporters aren't really into crazy things like "science" and "numbers" though. I'm really disappointed that she can't understand that she isn't helping the Democratic Party by hanging on......it's time for her and Bill to face the facts and get behind Obama. I ran to my voting bureau (Oregon) to make sure I registered as a Democrat in time to participate in the primary.....and DEFINITELY will be voting for Obama! By the way people, "loser" is spelled L-O-S-E-R, not "looser". Or perhaps you were spelling your own names.

This is a DEPIRATE candidate(Hillary),Pres.CLINTON said that OBAMA would not go more than a state when the race commenced .Now, the unexpected is surfacing,Hillary who once said that FL&MI would not count is now accusing OBAMA of not allowing them.
Let both of them go back to FL&MI for fresh election after new tour/campaing.

What part of "rules are rules" does Clinton and her apparently amoral supporters not understand?

How can anyone with an ounce of integrity suggest counting ballots that did not even include Obama's name?

And she and her supporters wonder why we can't stand her.
