CHARLESTON, West Virginia (CNN) – Hillary Clinton told West Virginia supporters Thursday morning that any Democratic nominee needed to win their state to claim the presidency - and that every successful candidate since Woodrow Wilson had.
“It’s a test for me, and it’s a test for Sen. Obama because for too long we have let places like West Virginia slip out of the Democratic column,” said Clinton at a rally in the state capitol, during her second day of campaigning in the state.
“...I think the hard working voters of West Virginia represent the heart and soul of the Democratic Party and the backbone of our victory in November.”
Amid questions of whether she can still win the nomination, Clinton argued that she is beating Obama with the groups of people McCain will be targeting in the Fall – Catholics, Hispanics, blue-collar workers and senior citizens. Clinton also called McCain a "formidable" opponent.
“We’re going to have a run a vigorous, victorious campaign in November. That’s why I am building such a strong and broad coalition among the states and among the voters we must have to deliver the White House.
“This is a little like deja vu all over again,” Clinton told the crowd. “Some in Washington wanted us to end our campaign and then I won New Hampshire. Then we had huge victories on Super Tuesday. Then we won Ohio and Texas and Pennsylvania. And I was never supposed to win Indiana. Well, I am running to be president of all 50 states.”

OBAMA still wins by 100 delegates if FL and Michigan are counted.
Sorry Hill – it's over.
She is still in the primaries because MILLIONS and MILLIONS are voting for her ... duh ...
Do people not realize that just because Obama or Clinton lost a state during the primaries does not mean they will lose it in November? An example – do you really think that just because Clinton won CA during the primaries that it means McCain would win it in November? No he wouldn't. I am more than certain that Obama would win it. This goes for both candidates.
I am tired of hearing how one state is more important than another or how she deserves the nomination because she won big states. Just because she beat Obama in a state does not mean that McCain would beat him in it too.
Has the Gimmick Candidate announced she will run in the GOP race because that's where they understand her racist views yet?

Hillary is the only one trying to get every vote from every state to count. Obama could care less. He states he is a uniter, but he and he alone has divided the Democaratic Party. Oh! well not completely alone Howard Dean has helped.
Yawn. It's funny how the states she wins are "must wins"–by that logic, it's surprising any one ever wins, because that means twice as many states–the ones she lost–are apparently irrelevant.
Its sad that someone who really has no chance off winning thinks that she will make it to the white house...its been over...this is why she cant be president she has no good decision makeing skills
This is so sad. Even posts about Hillary aren't getting hits/comments.
Okay, she needs a psych eval ASAP.... Someone should tell her that this is over.... She has an unhealthy obsession of becoming the President. Sorry, boo you lost, GAME OVER!!!!
Has the Gimmick Candidate announced she’s on her way to the planet Jupiter because the only way to the White House is through the planet Jupiter yet?

Hillary you are pathetic!
Our President Obama 08’ & 12’
Why do the Democrats keep talking about "winning states," when the DNC doesn't allocate delegates on a winner-take-all basis? These upcoming primaries don't matter when it'll be the supers who decide everything. How undemocratic is the process of having superdelegates, by the way?
Now Hillary is pandering to West Virginians. I was expecting her to
show up here dressed as a ham. West Virginia is Obama country.
The Hillary crowds are really small. We want unity, not division.
I guess her winning only big states message is old b/c now she's trying win all 50 states. Well she has alot of catching up to do since she has only managed to win 16 states so far.
Sorry but there aren't enough of Obama's core to even have a respectable showing in this State. He'll lose by 30 points.
Let me see if I understand this correctly...if there is a state she is favored to win, it is A MUST WIN STATE for dems. If there is a state that he is favored to win, it doesn't matter (i.e. states with African-American populations, caucus states, certain swing states, etc.)
Give me a break!
McCain may be a formidable opponent but not for Hillary. Why is she still here?
I don't think Obama has a shot at winning WVA in the general nor does he have a shot at beating McCain b/c the white and Hispanic demographics in the swing states heavily favor McCain
Go Hillary! I mean Go AWAY Hillary!
When they finish with the remaining states on the previously agreed upon order, perhaps she will suggest to start the voting all over – in alphabetical order.
And when that's over, she will suggest reverse alphabetical order.
And when that's over....
Dear Hillary,
YOU ARE OVER!!!
Love,
Democrats
Hillary is for everybody! Not just black people. Not just urban areas. Not just educated people. Not just the elitists. She is for everyone. Hillary is the best there is.
Cathy, that's a typical response from a typical supporter. I mean she's been running a both a Dem and Rep at times, why not try her hand at the independent arena b/c after all this is ALL ABOUT Hillary and her Presidency.
Bill pandered as a politician and lied as a spouse. Hillary is half way home.
I don't think she's going to be attacking Obama. I think the point of all this is to register new voters to the Democratic party in all 50 states, and they have done a great job at that.
