Limbaugh is thinking that everyone is as dumb just as he is. We do not want you to tell us whom to support. Either democrat will be great but not a warmonger or a soon alzheimer-to be. McCain, please go home because it's too late for you to be called Mr president; now it's your alzheimer time.

See a doctor mr mcbush would be better for you than running for this office!!!

Congressman Barr,

I am not sure of your church affiliation, but as a presidential African American male candidate from GA, the press will scrutinize your pastor and his sermons.

Clinton supporters, stop talkaing about her being forced out. The only thing forcing her out is that she was out-organized and out-campaigned by a political newcomer who has caught on to a deep and pervading desire in this country to see the partisan bickering stopped.
As a white older American, I applaud his honesty, his integrity, and his truly gifted way of bringing people of all colors, ages, and religions together; that is, if you lay aside your pre-conceived political and racial biases, take a step back, and actually look at the kind of human being he has been and is. He is a member of a Church whose former pastor said some controversial things. If you are a member of a Church whose pastor never challenged the political status quo, I pity you. Barack Obama joined a Church, a great Church, which grew to be great under the inspired leadership of Jeremiah Wright. Listen to his other sermons. Rev Wright is an immensely inspiring preacher, who after retirement, turned out to be a human being with the same kind of shortcomings that many of us share with him.
If you haven't read about it before, look up "The Tuskegee Study on the effect of Non-treatment of Syphilis in Black Males," a study that lasted from 1932-1972. Perhaps if you read it, you will understand the deep hostility toward a government which at times was immoral and hate-filled toward the black race. If you haven't read it, just be silent - you don't know and can't know what you are talking about..

Just saw the article "Obama in jeans".
Give him a real fight Mr Barr.......his fit in jeans doesn't look so impressive......I would say downright average.

So, I'm giving the article the attention it deserves.

You bleeding heart liberals are so short sighted and helpless. And you diehard neo-cons are so afraid and angry. You get so involved in politics because you think that government can make your life better. It's very misguided. Libertianism is about having a heart and a brain. The difference is that we promote the idea of charity on a personal level instead of a welfare state. Obama won't save the world and Hillary isn't going to make your bills any more affordable. If you want to change your community then do it yourself.

Bob Barr could be just what the Democrats ordered. Mr. Barr will give the right leaning Republicans a chance to vote for someone that thinks like they do as opposed to the phony McCain. We hear about the Hillary and Obama battle but we do not see Republicans talking about the 25% of the vote in No. Carolina and Indiana that did not vote for McCain. To all McCain backers, how do you want this war to continue in Iraq paid for with money that we do not have?

Obama supporters are wondering why Clinton supporters are not on the early blogs each day? Could it be because we work for a living? By the time I get home, you Obamabots have used up all the space--blogging all day--and Cafferty file does not accept Hillary supporters at any time of the day--therein lies your answer!

This guy's timing is great. Why didn't he throw his hat in the ring back in January or something? Does he think the Republicans just now lost their core principles? Note to Bob Barr: they've been lost for about 27 years now. http://spinachflame.wordpress.com/

Maybe Ron Paul could join the ticket. I know a bunch of folks who would like that. I could maybe even come to like it because, as I've been saying in recent months...... ANYONE BUT OBAMA!

Concerned. You may want to watch what you wish for. A .005 percentage as you put it would be 500,000 votes based on a 100 million turnout. Remember that it was only a few thousand votes that put Duh-bya, the moronic chimp in office in Florida in 2000. So who is gonna be McBush's running mate? The Huckster who will surely push away anyone who isn't an Evangelical zealot, or Mutt Romney who will do the same since he's in a "cult."

To NoMcSame-- you are blinded by the word "white." Pay attention to the word "educated." Educated voters support Obama no matter what their color and if he loses in November, it's because we have failed as a country to properly educate our people to think. The 15% of this country who would vote for Hitler if he were running wouldn't vote for Hillary anyway. Keep the faith that once people get to know Obama they will at least think before casting their ballot rather than allow themselves to be used by the Clintons.

Bob Barr is no Ralph Nader.
But clearly--neither the GOP or Democrats are fielding legislation or candidates that represent "any kind" of conservative values. In fact, both parties appear to be in a slow march towards socialism in order to retain their voter appeal between liberals and moderates of both parties.

Perhaps it's time for a growing third party--for conservatives to hangout in. I recently changed my registration from Democrat to No Party Afiliation--I'd consider anything other than the current three stooges we've got on order!!!

Barr's defection and candidacy will hurt the Republicans far more than Gravel's will hurt the Democrats.
I'm not sure where Barr thinks the Republicans deserted him. I think it was the so-called 'moral majority' that took the Republicans off-course and derailed them from the party they used to be.

How this party is different from Bush?
What plans they have for Iraq and Israeli/ Palastinian conflict. Are they going to offer solutions to this crises in the Middle East or continue the same failed policy?

As a McCain supporter I applaud this move. We need more people to choose between when we vote. All of you people who complain about the way government is run and then get so outraged when someone like Ralph Nader has the audacity to actually want to run for President b/c it might take votes away from your candiate are such hypocrits. This move could very well hurt McCain but it's good for the United States and that is what is more important.

Obama and his paternal 1st cousin Odinga, wanted to bring the whole of Kenya under Sharia law. Obama campaigned for Odinga in August of 2006,just before he filed with the US Federal Elections Commission for his presidential candidacy.

The idea was simply to have the Luo tribe, mostly Muslims, to take over Kenya from the inheritors of colonial power, the Kikuyu, and bring the country under Sharia law, kick out the Western investors in the nation that had made it one of the most stable nations in Africa, and supplant those Western investors with wealthy Arab oil money. It all failed. Then Odinga yelled election fraud, and put his Luo Islamofascists into the streets of Nairobi to “protest” by murdering, raping and maiming Kikuyu people, including the recent burning alive of a church full of Christians

I hope Mike Gravel gets it. It is a real shame the media shut him down in the Democratic primary. He was not even invited to the debates except the first 2.

Mike Gravel has some good ideas and has a backbone. He was the only politician I ever heard declare that the war on drugs needs to end.

It is the biggest waste of taxpayer money in history is is not working. Over half the people in prison are in for drug possession, while the hard-core criminals serve only a fraction of their sentences because we can't build more jails fast enough to keep up with the demand.

To you people who are saying 90% of the black vote is for Obama....you are not taking into consideration that the votes are not even proportional to each other. Just for the sake of explaining this, let's say 500 blacks came out to vote and ninety percent of those blacks voted for Obama, 10% for Hillary. 2,000 whites came out to vote and Hillary had the majority of their votes. You will hear that 60% voted Hillary and 40% Obama. The numbers are not even proportional to each other ; 500 is a long way from 2,000. Perhaps if it was equal playing ground 2,000 blacks and 2,000 whites or 500 blacks and 500 whites, you could make a better argument. Think logically people.

Wow, the more the merrier. With a hundred candidates for Governor in California, we got Arnold with only 15% of the vote.

I'm very surprised the Republicans did not come up with a plan to divert Barr from running. A more conservaqtive mesage is sure to snatch votes from McCain, as evidenced by a quarter of voters in North Carolina and Indiana voting against him-a couple months after his last opponent dropped out. Personally, I'm voting for Obama because I am not going to allow the press to cast my ballot for me. I think he's decent and caring. And I also believe McCain has had 25 years as an insider to change things for the better. He has chosen to not do so. He does not deserve my vote.
