WASHINGTON (CNN) – Hillary Clinton supporter Harvey Weinstein threatened to cut off contributions to congressional Democrats unless House Speaker Nancy Pelosi embraced his plan to finance revotes in Florida and Michigan, three officials familiar with their conversation said.
Weinstein and Pelosi talked on the phone late last month, the sources said.
The three officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk publicly about the conversation.
They said Weinstein, a top supporter of Clinton's presidential campaign, appeared determined to buy Clinton more time in her battle against Sen. Barack Obama by pushing for the revote. He was also pressing Pelosi to back off her previous comments that superdelegates should support the candidate who's leading in pledged delegates in early June, the sources said.

My understanding is that even if the votes from Florida & Michigan are counted as is, it won't help Clinton. Pelosi should just tell the man NO! and tell Billary to drop out of the race. It's over. Try again in 4 years.
If this is true, all I have to say for you Hillary and her supporters is this is a new low. I never thought you could go lower but you have officially found yourself in league with the most corrupt politicians of our time. The sad thing is that I once had respect for you and would have voted for you still if you somehow stole the nomination from Obama. Now, if you go down that road, I will be another of the millions of Obama supporters who will not vote for you.

An interesting concept. Harvey is so loaded that he thinks he can buy the nomination for Hilary, while Hillary is having to loan her own campaign $11.4 million (which of course rounds up to $20 milion in Hillary dollars....).

With CNN being so pro Clinton, I am surprised that they even ran this story. I guess it ran somewhere else first so it was old news now.
These are Hillary's wild cards. If the votes are counted and delegates are seated as is(which is illegal) will be the greatest upset in democratic history. she says the people voted. Right! and monkeys come flying out of my butt!!! That was not a vote, but a sneaky hillary experiment to see what it would look like if she had ZERO competition. and she still only got 55% of the vote.

This is old news. A group of her supporters also agreed to pay for the revote in Michigan. What is surprising is the Clinton campaign didn't see anything ethically wrong with having her big money supporters finance revotes in Florida and Michigan.
