From

(CNN) — Barack Obama picked up another superdelegate Friday, narrowing Hillary Clinton's advantage to three.

Democratic National Committee Member Ed Espinoza formally endorsed Obama, saying he has "the character to lead our great nation."

“I am endorsing Barack Obama today because throughout this process I have seen him show a judgment and character that we need in our next president," he said in a statement released by the campaign. "From day one he opposed the Iraq war and has a plan to end the war in a responsible way and bring our sons and daughters home."

Espinoza is a former supporter of New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson's presidential bid.

So, let's get this straight. Obama does not have necessary delegates
to secure the nomination and Hillary should just quit because she can't overtake him. If she would do what so many of the Obama crybabies would ask she would do a disservice to all that support her. Obama babies like to whine about the delegates (both pledged and super) should vote what their constitiuents want. But that only applies when the Clinton camp says that each delegate should use independant judgment. The Obama babies certainly don't pipe up and whine when the recieve super delegates froma state Clinton has won. I am a life long Democrat and come from a family of generations of lifelong Democrats and I will never vote for Obama. He is a whiner, he has no backbone, and McCain who I don't like but certainly respect will eat him for lunch. Leave it to us Democrats to screw this 'perfect' election up. No Obama EVER !!!

Why on the same ticket ?What a stupid idea .
Put yourself in Obamas place would you pick Hillary haven't we seen and heard enough of her.
Wouldn't you like Bill in the shadows every time you turn .
He has a world of excellent choices to choose from does he need to pick Hillary to please others .
He needs someone he can work with that benefits him and he chooses .
Very tired even looking at the Clintons /Bushes lets have some new faces /ideas.
Clinton /Bush have dominated the place far to long.

Michelle from Colorado: I thought you said you were not a racist? Read your post again.

Racism is a term that has been thrown around loosely over this last 18 months of this campaign. I have but one question. Have those who are so quick to call any black American racist able to READ and comprehend the definition of a racist ? I dare say you don't and to use the term so loosely against a race of people who have been systematically held down is irresponsible, reckless and tells more about you than you realize. There is more hate on these blogs to fill HELL!

To say that blacks are racists makes the person spewing that garbage from their mouths look stupid and incompetent. When have you EVER been considered 1/5th human? It's a mind set that have been long ingrained in many people that is fundamentally flawed and down right un-Christian like.

I appreciate, any and all AMERICANS, who have the wherewithal to examine things for themselves. I appreciate any AMERICAN who demonstrates the "testicular fortitude" needed to stand up for all people.

How and why would a black who was considered 1/5th human conjure up the ability to think their race is better than the white race when it has been proven time and time again that we don't think we are superior or no less inferior.

Look at yourselves- hard-and realize that superiority is ingrained in your psyche. In your minds, blacks, Latinos, Jews, etc would never be as good as the "poorest gutter trailer park white trash" looking for a $5 trick! The truth hurts- but so did that WHIP!

Get a grip! To call another black racist just "un-masks" how racists some of you really are!

TO the Hanoi Hillary Supporters who have stated they will not vote for Barack, really ask yourselves WHY? If it's on the issues and you can substantively and intelligently express yourself about them– I may give you credit- but only for a second. Hanoi Hillary and Barack's platforms are more aligned with each other than Johnny McShames.

SO if you truly intend to vote for any one other than Barack- is that logical? Don't cut off the nose to spite your face. You will hurt us all in the long run!

TO the trifling Republicans intent on spreading discourse- be careful. Karma is a B*&ch! No one spreads more hate than you! And the God I serve will sit in judgment of you on judgment day!

TO every logical free thinking American who refuse to jump on the bandwagon with the sheep, and who believe that ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL in every sense of the word-thank you for sticking to your guns- WE MAY JUST HAVE A CHANCE!

Insider from Sacramento   May 9th, 2008 2:51 pm ET

To all Superdelegates,

Do you remember 1968? 1980? Do you know why the Democratic Party has created superdelegates in the first place? Yes, it was top MAKE SURE that loosing the presidency as in those two years will not happen ever again. Yet, what I see right now is the people who were granted such huge responsibilities are not exercising their duty, which is to vote for the candidate that FOR SURE has the potential of becoming President of the United States. Ask yourself, if it is not to EVEN overturn the will of the majority, HOW is my vote different than the average voter? Be strong, do what is RIGHT, support Hillary Clinton with your vote. BECAUSE IF OBAMA LOOSES, which if highly likely he will, you will have a lot of explaining to do. I might even venture to say that your political career might be affected negatively. People WILL BLAME IT ON THE SUPERDELEGATES.

Mary L.   May 9th, 2008 2:50 pm ET

Unite and let's change this country….beware of republican politics……they know they cannot win in November , there too much concerned about filling their pockets and just being flat out racist, when was the last time you heard the republicans talk about doing something good and honorable for the American people , so people think about what you do come November ,please don't cast a vote for the party that has kept us in such turmoil for the last eight years , and please don't vote out of spite because the person you wanted wasn't nominated, this effects us all…….so do the right thing and vote Obama come Novemberand I'm sure you won't be disappointed .

PA for Obama   May 9th, 2008 2:48 pm ET

It is the Hillary supporters who say they will not back Obama if (when) he gets the nomination. That is just plain stupid!!

Help me understand why in the world a Democrat would support McCain's policies when it is just rehashing the past 8 years of Bush?

OMG people, if you think things are bad now and you can't afford to gas up your tank, just wait until the next Republican gets in office! Then, we will have all that and we will be at war with countries around the world for the next 100 years.

If you don't like Obama as a person for whatever reason, that's a personal opinion. But, choosing republican policies just because your candidate didn't get nominated is personally disastrous for us all. Just take a good hard look at just how increasingly difficult it has been over the past 8 years to manage your own finances and household. Well, that's for another 4 years with McCain.

Do the right thing.

tar   May 9th, 2008 2:48 pm ET

I do not understand Sen. Clinton's strategy. She is trying her best to undermine Sen. Obama in the general election. Many says that she is doing this hatchet job on Sen. Obama so that she can run for president in 2012.

Excuse me Sen. Clinton, who do you think is going to vote for you in 2012 after the campaign you are running. You have done your level best to destroy the Democratic Party.

I guess you will be running as an Independent, Green Party, or Liberterian candidate in 2012.

All of you that will vote for McCain instead of Obama, you need to make sure that you can afford the cost.

A war lasting in Iraq for 100 years, I see a military draft. Hope you are secure in your job, because more and more companies will be closing and moving the job overseas. McCain on healthcare, he says you are on your own.

So make sure you can afford the cost of your vote for McCain.

ted   May 9th, 2008 2:47 pm ET

Unfortunately, in spite of all of the Obamunist propaganda, The republicans will win the election in '08. they will smash Obama to sawdust. All those millions of dollars wasted because idealists and elitists chose a wet-behind-the ears politician rather than a tried and true candidate whose been out in the open (sniper fire or not) for 16 years.

Oh well. Four more years – maybe we can get it right then.

I think this is a step in the right direction for Hillary. As all these supers come out for Obama now, it increases the odds that the remainder will be likely be for Hillary. In fact every declaration for Obama likely represents two that will go Clinton's way when she pulls the huge upset and beats the front runner in West Virginia.

…see I could do her campaign manager's job, lol.

People really need to wake up and realize that in order to save and/or change this country; we need to be united as one. No black, white, Native American, Hispanic, Asian, red states, blue states, gay, straight, young, or old. We are all our brothers and sisters keepers; because we are Americans.

Just like the black, white, Native American, Hispanic, Asian, gay, straight, young, and old Americans; that is over there fighting for us. At the end of the day, the blood that is shed is red. No different color. And the money that is being spent is green.

Hillary and Barack’s race will be forever known as fierce, exciting, competitive, entertaining, disappointing, sad, and most of all historic.

We rise and fall as one nation

Let's unify people.

I love you all!!!!

While I agree a bit with Brian Seattle, I can't say that Hillary supporters are entirely without blame.

Tonny Munu – American people have spoken for Hillary, too. When you use phrases like this, it really sets a tone that the votes for Hillary are some how… not valid, or not American.

Meropi   May 9th, 2008 2:45 pm ET

There was a superdelegate yesterday on CNN selling his vote for $20,000,000……..Where do these "super delegates" come from? Who appoints them?. Is there any criteria or anyone can become one?
What a crock!!!!!!!!!! Inside jobs from insiders…Do his supporters believe Obama is going in the Oval office to fight them all and win? Is he going to bring change by himself?? He owes so much to so many insiders……Change?? Hope?? You believe all those stuffed shirts are carrying him on their shoulders so he can change their way of doing things? If yes, then we need some sort of an IQ testing for all of us before we are allowed in a voting booth.

Although unspoken, it's quite obvious that Senator Clinton lost her White House bid A LONG TIME AGO! I'm saddened to say it, but Bill Clinton's White House escapades and womanizing is the root cause of his wife's troubles. Too, the war votes she cast were ill-advised and a clear effort on her part to show she was on the right side of the so-called "war on terror". For me, her vote on the 2005 Bankruptcy Act really showed she is truly out-of-touch with real blue-collar workers who actually may need debt relief. I voted twice for Clinton; this time, it's the one person who's head and shoulders above ALL the rest who ran: it's Obama, for sure.

Just read all of these blogs to gain a better understanding about why the democratic party trips, stumbles and falls almost every four years. Unless you're a first time voter and have not experienced a previous democratic primary you should know better. If your a first time voter then welcome to the party, it is, what it is. Don't take it personally. This happens every election term and will continue to happen until you demand something different. Get off of your high horses stop the empty threats, whining, and complaining. If you don't then you have no one to blame but yourselves.

sky   May 9th, 2008 2:40 pm ET

To Hillary's supporters. It is always difficult when the person you think to be best does not win but Obama is a good human being. He did not try to trash her or hurt her in anyway. He did not lie and he did not make things up and in your heart you know that. If experience is really the only thing that you find fault then you can also see that this human being who wants so desparately to unite this country, is good….excellent…at surrounding himself with capable people. He will have the ability to bring the very best and brightest this country has to offer to the table. He is a born leader and he loves this country. Take a good honest look at why you are angry with him. Is he a bad person. Did he trash your grandmother. Is his only fault that he ran against your candidate? Do you fault him for doing well? Make sure your anger is based on something real other than competition.

You know, this is very sad to hear that Hillary's supporters will not vote for Obama. This Election is not about Obama, Clinton or MCCain. We are the Democratic Party and we can'nt stand another Bush Administration because that is what it will be If Mccain wins this election. The people who will not vote for Obama that's fine because what they are saying is we don'nt want to bring this country together and we want to stay divided. To all Obama's supporters let's not worry about who want vote for Obama and let us focus on the one's that will vote for Obama. And there are a lot of new voters that is coming into the process they will vote for Obama. Obama"s supporters we are about bring people together.

Mecklenburg, Wake find vote flaws
Updated: 05/09/2008 07:38 AM
By: Shawn Flynn

[The problem regarding this year’s double counting was narrowed down to an optical scanner machine, which most counties do not use.]
The problem regarding this year’s double counting was narrowed down to an optical scanner machine, which most counties do not use.
MECKLENBURG & WAKE COUNTIES — Vote tallies are changing in the state’s two largest counties, after certain ballots were counted twice in Mecklenburg and Wake counties.

The mistake didn’t change the outcome of any elections, but it is a cause for concern to election directors. For example, when Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama declared victory Tuesday night in North Carolina’s primary, he was given approximately 15,000 votes more than he should have been. That’s 1 percent of all ballots cast.

In Wake County, early and absentee ballots were counted as part of the individual voters precincts and again as a whole. “So in essence, those voters were recorded double,” said Cherie Poucher of the Wake Co. Board of Elections. It was around 37,000 votes.

Scott ATL   May 9th, 2008 2:38 pm ET

Well, I said that I didn't mean to offend anyone, but I guess I did… For the Record 1/2 of my own family is white. Also, I have white friends…(lol) Ok… Seriously, I'm not talking about all white women, but if you're honest with yourself and you've had to work with the public, you know of whom I speak don't you?

Why do you think the term "entitlement" follows Hillary everywhere she goes?

And Lauren, I'm no longer in customer service, but I am a Director of Patient Relations in a very large Hospital in GA. I got there because I know how to handle it when grown spoile women throw temper tantrums…lol

I actually like Hillary, but she was beaten fair and square and just can't see it.

For AZM and Wesley,
I don't think all whites are typical, or all anyone for that matter. Any more that I think all black wear saggy pants and dreadlocks either… But I'm gonna call'em like I see'em…

Wesley, I'd have to ask you why you're offended? Just curious…

I do not understand why all these superdelegates are supporting Obama. I used to have alot of respect for the superdelegates, but now it appears they are easily swayed by an eloquent speaker and they are all pushovers. No matter what he says, Obama has no experience. There have been numerous times when Obama has been asked pertinent questions, and he does not know what to say. Then when he does come up with a response, he flowers his words and makes everyone feel good. He also has no backbone and is weak. He did not stand up to Reverend Wright until he felt the pinch. Obama has alot of skeltons in his closet, and everything is just being swept under the carpet because this man provides alot of lip service. I hope and pray Obama is not the Democratic nominee because it scares me to think this man could be our next president.

hilly is working on 'if I can't win, obama shouldn't win either' principle. If McCain win, then it's not because he's better but because democrats have been torn apart by her. Hilly is just the same as Bush – 'mission accomplish' in damaging Obama and no graceful exit strategy because graceful is not in her mean blood. So there you go fellow democrats, go ahead and vote for mcCain and you'll be sorry for your own stupidity and perhaps of your dislike of man of color.

It is astonishing to me that some HRC supporters argue that she has an edge in terms of experience. The fact is, Obama is wet behind the ears and Hillary is still damp. Neither has any appreciable experience that qualifies them as Commander in Chief.

What about the issues. Again, very little discernible difference in the grand scheme of things only that HRC has been working on a Health Care plan for 16 years (per HRC) with zero results.

So now what? Character? Obama had a crazy preacher and Hillary lies about being shot at and is given to pandering to voters to buy their votes for $28 each. As far as flawed character, the lead probably goes to HRC.

Electability? Ther person with the highest positive ratings is the most electable. Scale tilts towards Obama.

Now we are down to race and gender. Unfortunately, this is what is ultimately influencing most people's decisions whether they admit it or not.

It's nice to see the superdelegates coming out for sen. obama, but there not doing him or the country any favors by not giving him the delegates he needs to go over the top. Hillary will not drop out, and it's obvious that she knows she can't win, but wants to further divide the races so that obama cant win in nov, giving her an opportunity to run in 2012. If the supers don't stop this, Mccain will win in Nov. and the backdoor deal between the clintons and mccain to destroy obama will work. If mccain wins he'll be a one termer, giving hillary the chance to run in 2012. By that time hillary thinks the american people will forget the horrible things she did to obama and vote for her, but baby if you think blacks will vote for your scandalous a_ _, then you are the dumbest broad ever created…

People, People, People.

Let me shed some light on some of the posts here, on huff, politico, and others.

Most of these people stating that they are voting for McCain if Obama is the nominee are bogus. As you read through these post look carefully at the names and writing styles. Everyone has a writing style and it can be very easily noticed if your looking for it.

Many of the people posting here and elsewhere are posting under many names trying to stir the pot, again looking at the writing style, they are easy to spot.

Then you have the ones complaining "you won't post what I have to say unless I am an Obama supporter". – I have several websites and monitor the blogs/forum boards so let me give these people a little lesson on how this works.

When you post into one of these boards your IP address is also posted, we can see who you are, so those people posting as 4-5 different names are getting caught and thrown out.

Don't let these people get to you, they are just trying to stir things up and are NOT who they say they are.

Oscar, Rio Vista, CA   May 9th, 2008 2:29 pm ET

The people in congress that sent that letter to their fellow democrats begging them to vote for Hillary Clinton are as dillusional as she is. I hope they are all forking over their paychecks to her so that she can continue what is now becoming a sad and humiliating race.

I hope everyone in Texas, New York, Ohio, Florida, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Nevada remember who these congress members were when they are up for re-election. Either these people owe favors to the Clintons or they are trying to get her elected to show that they didn't back the wrong horse. Throw these sef-serving people out of congress when their time comes.

Kitade   May 9th, 2008 2:29 pm ET

To Clinton’s supporters, there’s nothing with the elections process she’s just happens to lose. If you vote for McCain because of that, then you’re joking with your country future. In this hard time of America economic, McCain will still continue fighting unnecessary war in Irag, continue wasting young Americans women and men lives in Irag, continue wasting billions of dollar in Irag, and people are facing hard time economic back home. You must not complain because he never promised you to stop the war, after all, he said he knew less about economic. I bet he will even attack Iran. Well this is not my own business, I’m not American and I don’t live in America. I just want peace in the whole world.
I knew CNN would not post this comment as usually.

Obama has been chosen by God and God's people. Americans, do not be afraid; Obama is our great leader!

What Do The Voters Know?   May 9th, 2008 2:29 pm ET

The voters' preference has become irrelevant to Hillary. What do they know? It's the 800 superdelegates who should get to choose the party's nominee – not the millions of ordinary people who went to the polls.

If her PowerPoint presentation is so full of wisdom, she should have shown it to the voters.

Anban   May 9th, 2008 2:28 pm ET

Skewed Democratic Nomination Process
This year’s Democrat nomination is the most skewed process in terms of races, genders, and ages. The most striking skewers is the race. Take the NC primary as an example. 93% African Americans (AFA) voted for Obama in the NC primary, while only 39% of the rest voted for him. Yet, he had a big win (14%) over Hillary Clinton. Do you know that Hillary would need 30% AFA votes or 73% of non-black votes just to tie Obama? This over 90% AFA support of Obama has been prevailing key for Obama’s lead in the primary contest. The only chance that Hillary can still win is that the remaining voters and super delegates understand the above numbers, and make a wise choice for the more qualified candidate

Cece   May 9th, 2008 2:27 pm ET

I am proud of almost everybody today, read these post. The democrats are finally starting to unite for what is best for the country and not for the canidate. Politics have kept us racially divided forever and I can now see this is all of our time. Lets rock the vote people so our kids and grand kids can know a better America sensitive to all of its citizens needs.

Richard Thomas   May 9th, 2008 2:27 pm ET

As Obama won 91% -92% of black voters in NC, just wait to see how white voters put MCCain in office in November. Wake up CNN are you that liberal to recognize the truth.

Al, San Francisco, CA   May 9th, 2008 2:27 pm ET

I think Hillary and McCain are traditional candidates. They will do alright. Come on guys you know it. McCain is much better than Bush. And Hillary is much better than McCain. But Obama, hmm we do not know a whole lot. And that makes him so attractive. We want something different and if we do not have Obama, we will always wonder "What if Obama would have become the President?" And so I am willing to take this bet. Some people say Obama will destory America. Take a hike. A president cannot destroy America if people do not it destoryed. We have other pillars of power which can check the President. So my fellow American, "Support Obama".

"But but, how about his pastor?" His pastor will go to hell after a hearty breakfast in Danny's.

No One in this race is A Racist. I wish People would just learn to be Honost. Stop the name calling and all the false accusations.

Have you noticed that Hillary Supporters are not being nasty anymore, unlike the Barack Supporters? But yet she is the one dividing the party.

The Democratic Ticket should be Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama. They have both earned to be there. No matter what order.

So to all you Obama Supporters, stop with the Nasty comments. Your "education" is showing through.

Democrats need to Unite. We need to get these deranged old republicians out of control and sent to an island we they can live in peace and die.

Bottom line…Knock it off Obama People or we will bring our pen to write in Hillarys name.

Glory – What is wrong with using judgement. Why is the thought of a leader looking at an issue from both sides and then making an intelligent plan to solve the problem so scary. God know we could use a lot more of this instead of leaders who blindly follow some ideology based on religion or putting more money in the pockets of their friends. Being smart should not be looked at as a negative trait when looking for a president.

Nancy   May 9th, 2008 2:24 pm ET

This division will not end and because Obama is going to win now all his supporters are saying "let's join together" but before they were calling most of Hillary's supporters names and now they want something. Come on I will not vote for Obama, no matter what anyone says, I am one of the percent that will not vote. I just do not trust him.

Do you guys notice that everytime there is an election one of the states is hit with some kind of disaster where the election took place? Tennesee the night of the election, tornado hit, Alabama the same, Atlanta, and now North Carolina last night. I know this is tornado season but why do these have to hit where there is elections. Why not hit in Texas or Kansas it hits most of the states where the election just took place. Atlanta was hit right downtown, they say this has never happened before. Coincidence? I am not sure.

Someone needs to know….
Someone needs to know why Obama won N.C. I've been trying to figure out why N.C. went for Obama and it finally came to me…The research triangle is there. They do not want anything to change as far as our healthcare goes. They are afraid of Hillary's healthcare for everyone plan. I think they know they can railroad Obama's plan like others in the past but Hillary has hers down pat now. Hillary needs to stay in the race because more harmful things are going to come out about Obama. Gee…just in the last month look at the bad judgment calls he has made. I just read where Edwards says that Hillary staying in the race and saying bad things about Obama are harmful for the party. Hmmm what do you think the Rep. are going to do once the full race is on.? Hillary can stand up to MCCain. If we end up with MCCain we are all going to be sorry. All of us that aren't rich that is….. And I do mean RICH!!!!!!!! Since I won't vote for Obama that leaves us with Dare I say it… what is his name again? Oh yeah, RALPH NADAR. I would vote for McCain over Obama only because he does care about this country. but ….MCCain doesn't get the not being rich part so Ralph is my second choice.

I am a white college graduate (Magna Cum Laude) and my husband is a Hispanic with a Master's degree. We wouldn't touch Obama with a ten foot pole. It is not because he is black and it is not because we are "dumb, uneducated Hillary supporters". It is because he is nothing but a suit. He is all flash and no substance. I would hate to see McCain become president, but in the long run, he would make it better than Obama. Obama, come back when you can fill the suit and prove you can accomplish something. On top of that, in 2012, you may have gotten far enough away from that hate monger Wright that your antipatriotic smirk at the pledge and your wife's lack of American pride will have worn off.

DELMARVA   May 9th, 2008 2:21 pm ET

Hey Scott ATL,

AMEN! I know exactly what you are taking about. It's not pretty to watch.

DC Insider   May 9th, 2008 2:21 pm ET

Big deal he can pick up 100 super (insider) delegates, but unless the MILLIONS of Florida Dems who voted for Hillary are counted, the Dems will NOT take the White House.

The Dems have an interestingly flawed system.

1 They do not follow the Republican or the general election rules for counting states (winner take all). If they did, Hillary would have been the Democratic nominee weeks ago.

2. With the use of proportional pledged delegates per state and the use of political insider super delegates to "essentially pick the nominee), it is hardly a democratic process.

3. The use of caucuses is a joke – no privacy and tons of peer pressure. Also a few hundred vocal supporters determine the outcome. 500,000 voters in one state versus 225 in a caucus state.

4. Guam and Puerto Rico get to vote in primaries and select the nominee, but they cannot vote in the general election – this makes little sense.

5. The TV pundit coverage is intrusive — they are trying to control the process with their forecasts and commentary is generally biased for one candidate or the other – this is a bad thing.

6. The experienced politicians (Dodd, Richardson, Biden, et al) have no chance due to their records, but somebody with no record (and no experience) has a better chance of being selected. This means our least experienced politicians get nominated.

7. The Democratic party is going to disenfranchise millions of party faithful in Michigan and Florida, and not count their votes, and instead, let the super delegates pick the winner – this is a path of self destruction for the Dems in the general election, when Florida could go to the Republicans again and cost the Dems the election — DUMB

Mike - Texas   May 9th, 2008 2:21 pm ET

Neither one of them have the count to be nominated.

It is all up to the Super Deligates.

“I am endorsing Barack Obama today because throughout this process I have seen him show a judgment and character that we need in our next president." Reading between the lines, Hillary Clinton was mean-spirited, self-serving, and ruthless in pursuit of power.

Go Hillary   May 9th, 2008 2:20 pm ET

Hey Joe – if you would have READ about Shuler's endorsement, you would have KNOWN that he pledged his endorsement based on his congressional district, which CLINTON won.

mike   May 9th, 2008 2:20 pm ET

We are not ready to have Louis Farrakan as Secretary of Defense. Hussein Obama is an utra liberal and his policies are very close to SOCIALISM. We are proud moderate and conservative democrats that will be supporting John McCain for President should Hussein Obama be the nominee forwarded by the liberal part of the democratic party.
As for John Edwards, I have no respect left for him. He had an opportunity to speak up and endorse a candidate become NC primary and he shrunk from doing so to play the political game Hussein Obama is doing. Hussein Obama used REV. Wright and disposed of him when he was no longer needed. Hussein Obama is a political that will say and do anything to get the democratic nom ination.

Bridget   May 9th, 2008 2:19 pm ET

Well here we go again. Another loss for the Democratic Party. Even if Obama wins in November I consider it a loss. No excitement here, no hope, no commitment, no vote. Who cares anyway. All I know is this is how I felt when Al Gore lost, Howard Dean dumped, John Kerry swift boated, and now Hillary shafted by the Democratic Party. I'll look to John McCain and see if he can lift the spirit of myself and millions of other Americans but I doubt that too. I'm resigned now to bitter disappointment of the process.

No Fear   May 9th, 2008 2:19 pm ET

To everyone who says Obama lacks experience:

Bush was in charge of the state of Texas as an "experienced" Governor and look where that got us. It's a matter of judgment, not experience.

Ben   May 9th, 2008 2:19 pm ET

Hillary says if she was a republican, she would be the nominee by now. Superdelegates must have heard her say that which is why they are now leaving her in droves so that she can join the republican party. This is a statement that makes me question her as a true democrat and needs to be analyzed. Obama would have taken a lot of heat if he had uttered such a statement.

lostin ohio   May 9th, 2008 2:18 pm ET

Jacob   May 9th, 2008 2:18 pm ET

I am a democrat and I think it is unbelievable that the party has become so un-loyal. I would never vote for Obama over Clinton. I do not understand how Obama is liked so much. JFK was Catholic and not much at all like OBAMA. I would rather vote for Mc Cain than Obama. I think it stinks that all the dig wig democrats have stabbed the Clintons in the back. Well watch us once loyal dems do the same back to them.

Lynne - Seattle WA   May 9th, 2008 2:18 pm ET

I am a Barack Obama supporter for many reasons…1) I believe that of all of the candidates he is the one that truly cares about each of us and wants whats best for America and Americans…and is not just another politician that wants to "be in charge," 2) people say he doesn't have the experience to be president…I use to work for Employment Security so I have to say that based on his past work experience that he has many important transferable work skills that will make him a strong president, 3) also from an employment specialist perspective…the primary process is very much like a big job interview…I feel that Obama has done the best job presenting his skills and abilities and should be offered one of the two top slots for a final interview (aka run against McCain)

I'm glad to see more superdelegates supporting Barack Obama!

manuel figueiredo   May 9th, 2008 2:18 pm ET

Good and wise decision.

Alfredo   May 9th, 2008 2:17 pm ET

Really!!!
The media is SO UNFAIR to Hillary. They need to realize that Hillary WON
Indiana. Obama is expected to win both Indiana and North Carolina since February. But, Hillary won Indiana and cut Obama's lead in North Carolina from 20% in February down to 14% in spite of ad overspending by Obama.

Wake up media people or wake up Obama-Media people. Hillary even won consecutively in Ohio, Texas, Pennsylvannia and now Indiana. Not to mention the other big states such as California, Arkansas, Florida (both of them are in the ballot) that are crucial in November. Hillary has the most electoral college votes based in these big states.

If you want a Democrat to win then Hillary should be the choice. African Americans are so unfair voting 9 to1 against Hillary not like the white people who fair and thinks who is the best candidate. Who is being racial now? This racial thing about Black has been OVERUSED, MISUSED and ABUSED by these people. Obama, the Obama camp, Clyburn, Wright and others can not fool us anymore. Stop this non-sense.

Wake up superdelegates! Wake up media people.

Karen   May 9th, 2008 2:17 pm ET

i am a Hillary supporter who understands that Obama will be the party nominee. It is time to put an end to all this and UNITE so we can beat McCain in the fall. Hillary, you ran a tough campaign, but I ask you to please step aside with dignity before your continued efforts affect our chances of winning in Nov. You tried your best but please think of the country and the party and stop this NOW!

George, Los Angeles   May 9th, 2008 2:17 pm ET

I will not vote for Obama in November. I can't stand his support base, their negatively, and down-right nastiness. He will lose, mostly because of you guys.

Stan   May 9th, 2008 2:16 pm ET

I think the Republicans are going to have to find a nominee in four years that will bring the capabilities and history making excitement that the Dems have brought to the table this year.

There are lots of capable Republicans in this country and some of them are not white or male.

Jay W. (Los Angeles)   May 9th, 2008 2:16 pm ET

Some Americans would rather stand in fire with gasoline underwear on then to vote for a black man, others have taken it personal, and too much pride to lose, and yet still out of loyalty others will rather go down with the ship.

So, we have to accept these three facts, and move on without engaging them, because there is nothing you can say to change thier minds.

There are still millions of Dem faithfuls Independants, and concerned Republicans that care about the party, but more then that, the condition of the nation, its time to work with them to secure their position for a better America, not one that is stuck in a time warp of division, corruption, disruption, legacy motivated, sell outs, sell offs, and partisan politics.

We are the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, lets act like it.

Clinton's exit strategy laid out by her inner circle: Obama's VP, a senator majority leader, or beat Obama and run for 2012. (Note, none is for your interest, voters).

Wolf and alike have been pushing hard on Obama for a joint ticket with Clinton, despite repeated requests from his audiance that he stop doing it. Is he working for CNN or Clinton? Is he having his personal agenda?

It is extremely unprofessional for a media personal to inject personal view into national politics. CNN ought to be boycotted.

To the women out there voting for Hillary because they want a woman president.

Women are just as qualified as men to lead this country, just as any groupis qualified to lead this country. But that's not what this primary is about. It's about these two particular candidates. Hillary's not bad at all, but Barak is better, at least at getting elected, and that *is* what this primary is all about.

The problem with diversity, having all sorts of possibilities thrown into the ring, is that most of them, all but one, will inevitably lose. That doesn't set anyone back, that doesn't mean everyone is racist or sexist, it just means we can only pick *one*, hopefully the best one, in the end.

Hillary's not that old by politics, and there are plenty of fine women that can be president (even Rebuplicans!). They're just not winning right now, and that's the way it is. Maybe knowing when your team is beat and taking your rightful place at second is a guy thing, but for her, for now, it's certainly the right thing.

And the right thing for us is to come together as Democrats. Obama isn't going to try to overturn Roe v. Wade. Obama isn't going to support to good ol' boy network. He's going to work for democratic values, values that will benefit us all, not in spite of, but because of our diversity and equality.

I've been unable to figure out why anyone would be a Clinton supporter throughout this race.

However, after reading all the Clinton supporters' childish comments about how they'll vote for McCain over Obama, it all became quite clear.

Clinton's supporters are just like her – petty, small-minded, and shortsighted – so, naturally they prefer the candidate they identify with more.

NEWSFLASH: Hillary Clinton tries to steal Bible as Obama is being swron in as president, claiming 'Senator Obama is not electable!"

Dan Lee   May 9th, 2008 2:14 pm ET

IMPORTANT TO ALL OF CLINTON SUPPORTERS :

October 2007: "It's clear that this election they're having [in Michigan] is not going to count for anything," Hillary Clinton during an interview with New Hampshire Public Radio in
August 2007: Clinton adviser Harold Ickes voted to strip the rogue states (Michigan & Florida) of their delegates as a member of the DNC's Rules and Bylaws committee – "to prevent the gaming of the system,"
September 2007: Patti Solis Doyle, Former Clinton's campaign manager, pledged not to compete in either contest -. "We believe Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina play a unique and special role in the nominating process… and the DNC's rules and its calendar provide the necessary structure to respect and honor that role," "Thus, we will… adhere to the DNC-approved nominating calendar."
January 2004: Former DNC chairman–and current Clinton aide–Terry McAuliffe: "If I allow you to do that, the whole system collapses," (According to his memoir)."The closest [Michigan's delegates will] get to Boston will be watching it on television. I will not let you break this entire nominating process for one state. The rules are the rules.

I'm not one who votes for the winner just to be on the winning side. I'll vote for John McCain and happily lose if that's what is to happen. It kind of makes me sick at my stomach to vote Republican for the first time since 1980.

READ THIS DEMOCRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quoted by FACINGREALITY

IMHO – Those who are continually spouting that they will vote for McCain if Hllary is not the candidate are really Republicans who are trying to cause havoc like pill popping, should be in jail for writing illegal prescriptions Rush Lumbaugh. There is not a rational Democrat would could possibly believe that McCain will serve their best interest in the White House, with 2 Supreme Court Justices awaiting appointment, a continuation of the tax cuts for the rich, waterboarding, not wanting to talk to our enemies, gas at 4.00 dollars a gallon, milk at 4.00 a gallon, 2 dollars for eggs – COME ON!

I trust in America and I am a DEMOCRAT and even though I don't like Hillary – loved Bill – I would take a grandchild to the voting booth and let her push the button but I would NEVER give Bush a third term. That type of mentality is the reason we are in Iraq and allowed the GREENEST PRESIDENT to slip through our hands when we let lying Bush in for a second term. I vote for the best interest of my family and Obama is getting the support of the Party which says alot about their belief that he is the YES WE CAN President.

Oregon   May 9th, 2008 2:11 pm ET

We American are watching to see how arogan them superdelegates can be to take the nomination from Obama to give it to Hillary. The math is clear; it is impossible for Hillary to come first. We are proud Democrats unless superdelegates do the right choice. The candidate with that has the most delegates. Superdelegates must come the way the popular votes are to win in November or the will lose.
People in the states to hold primary must be the rich elite because Hillary do not offer them tax gas holliday. We must be poor in Indiana and North Carolina.
The Democratics party is losing its standard to let Hillary dictate to them what she wants whenever she wants to work in her favor. No body owe any political favor to the Clinton. She is the loser and she must accept that. Florida and Michigan must not be seated in the convention in Denver. Rules are rules they disqualify themselves period.

Seam, Philly PA   May 9th, 2008 2:10 pm ET

ahhahahaahahahaha. I love it. Clinton is falling.

tim from Ravenna, OH   May 9th, 2008 2:10 pm ET

I had given some thought to voting for Obama in Nov. but was feeling that he may not be good for America as his administration will be largely ineffective based on what he is saying in his campaign about bringing change(he won't) but after reading posts by his supporters I have made up my mind not to vote for him. Your attitudes have convinced me that you would vote for Satan if he were running against Clinton, That tells me that my initial reservations are probably right, he will be worse for this country than Carter and both Bush(s) combined.

Milwaukee for Obama   May 9th, 2008 2:10 pm ET

It is okay Thomas to get into your feelings. Other people who care for their country and who want return the glory America once had will vote for Obama. They are thinking about how Obama smiles or laughs, they are thinking of their children and grand children. So it is okay if you dont want, you have an option and it is your right to vote for whomever you want, dont just get frustrated about it.

What about Hillary??   May 9th, 2008 2:09 pm ET

What an idiot!!! Obama has a plan to take our troops out of Iraq. Hillary had a plan long before Obama copied her plan. The excuses that these people give for supporting Obama is crazy. LET THE PROCESS PLAY ITSELF OUT. THIS IS WHY DEMOCRAT LOSE ELECTIONS. WE LACK THE CONVICTION TO STICK TO SOMETHING. WE GIVE UP TO EASILY. HILLARY NEEDS TO FIGHT UNTIL THE CONVENTION. SHE IS THE MOST ELECTABLE CANDIDATE IN THIS RACE AND IS THE ONLY ONE CAPABLE OF BEATING MCCAIN. I FOR ONE WILL NEVER SUPPORT OBAMA. IF NOT HILLARY THEN MCCAIN. I WOULD RATHER SEE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY FRACTURE BEFORE I SUPPORT THIS BUBBLEHEAD WHO MAKES RACIST COMMENTS AGAINST WHITES BY SAYING WE ARE "TYPICAL WHITE" PEOPLE AND THAT WE CLING TO OUR GUNS AND RELIGION AND OUR ANTI-IMMIGRANT RHETORIC WHEN WE HAVE NOTHING ELSE. IF NOT HILLARY, THEN MCCAIN.

Scott ATL you wrote:
"What America is witnessing is what happens whenever a white woman is told "no" or does not get her way. I'm trying not to sound racist, but this is what I see."

I am an American who happens to be a woman of African decent. I do find your comments very general and racist! You are no different than others who take an experience or event with one person and generalize a group because of your experience. Maybe the problem on your job is YOU! Maybe YOU just do not know how to communicate.

Aside from that: I am an Obama supporter not because he is black but because I believe he brings the presidential presence that our nation needs and his policies align with those that the Democratic Party which I support stand for. I did not support HIllary, because I strongly believe we need a new generation and different people in the Leadership of our nation.

I hate Obama supporters and their unkind words for Senator Clinton. They are disrespectful of someone who has given so much to our great Nation and worked hard to run for the people…

If the SD had any guts they would decide and get this thing over with. It is sad that they are letting Hillary keep going. I mean everytime she opens her mouth she is hurting the party. How sad is this.

She gave a good fight, now it is time to move on. If I really thought she could do anything I would say stay in and fight, but unless the SD are going to do something under handed, I say let's get the GE on the road. Mend our fences and let's move forward.

Suzanne   May 9th, 2008 2:08 pm ET

Thank you. I hope they keep coming so we can shut this race down before there is any more damage to our chances in November.
Everybody needs to take a deep breath and see the big picture.
Obama will work to unite this country behind our common goals. He will be a great president. Let's try to honor Hillary for all the work she's done for this country and give her some space to find the right way to move on. We are all in this together and need one another to succeed. Let's try to be the change we want to see…..Peace…please

My pick right at the start of this expencive discussion ever taken place for one party was — Obama for the white house. Many points are to be made for him. The Hillary Clinton contribution to this discussion has made only one point "Its me not him". That is no contribution to the discussion short for Campaining for the party nomination. At least for the last two days she stoped being negative out in the open. But listen to what the supporters of Senator Clinton still say on the TV Tube.

Please Senator stop waisting your Monney make us win in the fall and show you are a real true great member of the Democratic Party don't be like Lieberman and isolate your self. You got to think Senator Lieberman may be on John McCain's short list ? That would be a bomb shell. Lets pick up and join Senator Obama and start campaining for the Victory in the Fall. Lets go Democrates lets Go Obama is the right candidate for us to win this.

Teresa- charlotte, nc   May 9th, 2008 2:07 pm ET

Hillary is a fighter and we need more people in the world like her, but this race should be over. Pride is a terrible thing. I supported her, but because of her negativity, I switch to OBAMA. I had to let that woman pride go and do what is best for the country. We have enough of negative leaders with pride. That is why our country is in a sense of hurt. Let go the pride and move on to uniting the DNC.

I suspect that Hillary will only give up if the well of superdelegates dry up. For now she is just drilling, hoping to hit a fresh well of superDs.
Her arguement of being more electable is not working with the superD's for now.

She has forgotten that the greatest service to mankind is submission to agreed and established rules. If she submits to the rules of the primaries she signed to and stop arguing for Michigan and Forida to be counted perhaps they may find her fulfilling one service of honor and plead her case for her.

Hillary, the superDs are men and women of honor and they admire people who commit to their agreement despite the odds. Obama has shown to be more electable for his poise, that is why he has gained on Hillary on superD count. It is that simple.

Marlene Connor   May 9th, 2008 2:05 pm ET

Since Hillary Clinton has said aloud why she really thinks Barack cannot be elected: Her white supporters will not support a Black, I hope she never gets another Black vote for any office. As a life-long Democrat I will never pull a lever for a Clinton again. I have never trusted her or her husband, but, when against a Republican, I could hold my nose and take the plunge. The stench of her racism is too much even for nose holding.

Please tell me why you wouldn't vote for Obama. Maybe we can talk about it together. We all really need to stick together.

I was once where you are at. At one point I didn't really care for Hillary, but I forgive her. And if she was to get the nomination 'fairly' I would vote for her because John McCain isn't qualified at all. I don't care what republicans say…he isn't.

Let's remember that Barack has not clinched the nomination, but it is likely that he will be the nominee. If you are a democrat and want the best for the country, then vote for Barack Obama.

Don't forget that Hillary and Barack's policies are very much the same. Again, we can talk about it because I would like to help you get to a comfortable place if Barack is the nominee.

What I don't understand is that some of the people who post here seem to fear that once Obama is elected that he will do something underhanded, make a huge mistake, or try and take over the world.

This fear of a secret agenda is unfounded but plays to the fears that the Bush administration has ground into our heads.

Retrospectively those same voters seem to say that they'll vote for McCain and seem to believe that he will not do what he says and will become the McCain from 2000 once elected since then he won't need to appease his conservative base.

Both of these arguments play up that we don't know what a person will do when elected and we can't believe their words. So instead we have to hand-pick a few of their actions to scrutinize and hold up as proof we are right and justified in how we are voting.

The logic of some people is very twisted.

Woffy   May 9th, 2008 2:04 pm ET

Steve   May 9th, 2008 2:04 pm ET

The Obama strategists ran a brilliantly pointed campaign targeting traditiionally "red" Republican States and highly populated urban areas in tradionally "blue" Democratic States. It was a very calculated move that under the democratic primary rules with its proportionate distribution of delegates enabled Obama to gain the lead in delegates. However, under general election guidelines in which the winner takes all the electoral votes it would be a different story. Hilliary Clinton, with her "big" state and "swing" state victories would be ahead and more than likely go over the top in the remaining contests. Obama will have a tougher time winning "red" states in the general election and unless he can pull support from Clinton voters
he may even have a tough time in the "blue" states.

Angela   May 9th, 2008 2:03 pm ET

I can think of a number of women I would have liked to vote for, but HC is not one of them.

Come one Come all.

At this rate, Obama will eclipse Clinton in Superdelegates pledged by Sunday. She really will have no argument at all save her sense of entitlement. However, she is a smart and forceful woman, and will be a very effective Obama supporter as soon as she can swallow her ego and gracefully bow out.

frank   May 9th, 2008 2:02 pm ET

Its time to stop talking about Clinton and focus on McCain. Democrat here is a real simple argument you use to defeat McCain.

Remember all the people who told you to vote for Bush and that he was the better President. Well how did that turn out. So why would you listen to the same fools who have steered you wrong before and vote McCain. The fools we speak of are Hannity, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Laura Ingram, Rove etc etc. If they were your financial advisors and everytime you listen to them you lose money, how long will you really take their advise.

Tell your freinds.

V   May 9th, 2008 2:02 pm ET

ENOUGH!!!!

I am a PROUD Obama supporter but the way people are talking about Clinton is not appropriate! I know people have hurt feelings over what she has done or said but 2 wrongs don't make a right!!! SENATOR OBAMA is not even talking this way

Do we really want all the pundits to be right? The media's job is to attack whom ever seems weak at the moment. 2 weeks ago that was Obama- I was outragged and pissed to the point I would not watch the news. NOW they see Hillary as the target!!! We are smarter than that aren't we?
Don't allow the media to dictate our emotions. This race is too important. I for one what the anger and determination of the Hillary supporters. They are the reason for her success in this race! I want that on our side. I can imagine them taking on Cindy McCain and the results would not be good for Ms. M!!!

What Do The Voters Know?   May 9th, 2008 2:01 pm ET

The voters' preference has become irrelevant to Hillary. What do they know? It's the 800 superdelegates who should get to choose the party's nominee – not the millions of ordinary people who went to the polls.

Does Hillary remember what "democratic" means?

If her PowerPoint presentation is so full of wisdom, she should have shown it to the voters.

CNN – STOP GIVING McCAIN A FREE RIDE!

The truth hurts   May 9th, 2008 2:00 pm ET

Everytime I post these type of comments they are never posted – proving that CNN is creating all this division.

People say Clinton supporters are uneducated. Although, I disagree with that statement. Reading these blogs makes you wonder.

Hillary is a intelligent, strong and beautiful woman, but she is not perfect, neither is Obama or McCain.

Hillary Clinton herself said that her and Obama's policy issues are basically the same, yet her supporters say that if Obama gets the nomination then they are voting for McCain. Does that mean you are not voting for Hillary on her issues? Then why are you voting for her?

I thought that is what you vote on the issues.

The no experience argument is void because Obama has actually spent more elected time in office then Clinton. Spouse of a president doesn't count or we'd vote for Mrs. Bush.

Rev Wright's issue is not an issue either. I've heard other pastors, even the Pope, denounce America. I don't see anybody attacking them on these blogs. Last time I heard Hillary was a Christian. This goes for Pope John II also.

You are letting other American's sway your votes. What sense does it make to not like a candidate because of what a blogger or supporter says? That is stupid. The majority of people on these blogs have never ever met either candidate. I'm sure no blogger on this site can call Clinton, Obama, or McCain on the phone and speak to them, so why should they be allowed to sway your thinking about a candidate. You let the media and others make your decisions for you. Why not have your own brain and research for yourself on the issues? I personally have had a meeting with President Clinton and met Mrs. Clinton, I've spoken to Obama and was introduced to McCain at a fund raiser. They are all nice people with different policy issues. They all have their own personal issues as well, but they are all for America, and that is why you vote on policy issues. Who cares about race, gender or age, only the uneducated people. Obama supporters are no different. We are all being childish amongst each other when we are suppose to be unified as one to make life better for our children. PEOPLE PLEASE GROW UP! This is an important election for our children. We are in two wars, on the verge of another war (Iran), we have China building a stronger military, we have problems with Russia, North Korea, Pakistan, other Middle Eastern and African governments and you are worried about he say – she say. PLEASE GROW UP!

I vote on policy issues but neither candidate will effect me that much because I am doing well, however I am an American and I care about America. I may not agree with a candidate but I study the issues and whomever is elected allocate my resources towards the interest of that elected official and make money. These blogs represent high school locker room talk. I don't believe you people arguing over people you don't even know personally. How dumb is that?!?!?

If Senator Clinton would change and run as an independent, she would be our next president.

One of the main reasons I won't vote for Obama is the meanness, nasty, down right cruel comments from his supporters regarding Senator Clinton. Other reasons include he is not at qualified, he is arrogant, both he and his wife ooze a sense of entitlement, plus their radical beliefs. He can come across as the nice guy since his supporters do all the back stabbing for him.

I repeat . . . If Senator Clinton would change and run as an independent, she would be our next president.

Obama's top ten lists should be:
1. I won North Carolina. Oops, Hillary won Indiana even I overspent in ads (which I should have won), Pennsylvannia, Texas, and Ohio consecutively. I can fool the superdelegates anyway.
2. Wright told America I'm just a Politician. Oops…that is true.
3. I'm so eloquent…oops my writer wrote it.
4. This is my economic plan…oops I forgot to ask my advisers first and I'm waiting for Hillary's lead. I don’t want to be a Flip Flop on issues again.
5. Let's stick to the actual issue..oops, Michelle and Caroline should say that at CNN..
6. Come on Hillary's defectors and join me…oops do you think you can fool me I will defect also after I win and resurrect my loyal friends Wright, Rezco, and Ayers
7. Bitter and clinging – oops those are not in my dictionary, oops I got it from Wright. Wher are my advisers? I do not know what to say.
8. Yeah, Wright mocked the Americans and I will lie by saying what he said is offensive….remember I'm a politician.
9. I'm electable…oops Hillary won the big states and has more electoral college votes to date that are crucial in November. Anyway, I fooled the superdelegates including the traitors.
10. Vote for Hillary…oops vote for me.

Before you can have CHANGE, we first need SOLUTIONS and that is HILLARY.
Michelle even brought Caroline with her. You can not fool us anymore. You are just all Politicians. Obama, Wright, Rezco and Ayers are all a disgrace to all American. After bitter remarks by Obama and Wrights mocking the American, then let's just forget about it. Yeah right. If this happened with Hillary for sure you are all jumping for joy. You can not fool us anymore and stop the lies…lies…lies…

Shame on those superdelegates that support Obama. They only think of their personal interest. If Obama wins, it will only be a repeat of Bush administration (a trainee who doesn't know what to do until he asks his advisers first). Wake up superdelegates!

Hillary won the big states and has more electoral college votes to date than Obama that are crucial in November. Wake up superdelegates.

@Glory: I'm Canadian, and you don't speak for me. You're trying to suggest that Obama is unpatriotic because he doesn't wear a pin (and a pin, by the way, is meaningless… traitors wear pins too), you're confusing experience with judgment, and you seem to think that America would be better off alienating other countries than getting together with their leaders to work out our differences.

I'll take judgement over experience any day, because the president doesn't make decisions alone. He / she doesn't work in a bubble. Any president's experience will pale in comparison to the sum experience of his / her advisers, and it's judgement, in the end, that guides him / her to the right decision.

I'd rather try to keep the peace with those who do / see things differently than us because a) that's the best way to influence their way of thinking, b) it's a more economically sound course of action, and c) it avoids war.

And finally, I don't wear poppies on Remembrance Day and I don't put my hand on my heart when I near the national anthem. I don't need to – I know how much I appreciate our vets and I know how much I love my country. I also know that the world if full of pretenders who wear such symbols and are total hypocrites (how often have you seen a crucifix blasphemously hanging around the neck or tattooed on the arm of an obvious non-Christian?) Actions are what matter, not symbols.

You can speak for yourself, but you don't speak for "us Canadians."

Not to mention the other big states such as California, Arkansas, Florida (both not them are in the ballot) that are crucial in November.

One of the chances HRC had to argue is slipping away–the supperdelegate lead. She claimed to be experience but the inexperienced guy is taking all of the experienced players who were on her side. If she wants this game to continue then we need an offical ref to do away with foul play.
Hope there will be no foul play since contestant candidate like John Edward says it is impossible for her. Like American reconcile their differences and unite. The word that we know of this country is–"The UNITED States of America. Not the divided States of America.

Obama has shown judgment and courage in many areas:
the war–courage to continue to speak positively and respectfully in the face of Clinton's attempts to marginalize him; judgment to see that the war was inappropriate and damaging and the courage to say so; the so-called "gas tax holiday"–judgment to see it was wrong (as every economist is saying) and the courage not to pander to the ignorance of the American public just to get votes, as have McCain and Clinton; courage to speak candidly and publicly about race; courage to follow his own conscience. A leader takes people where they may not see, themselves, that they must go. This election is about leadership style and character.

Nobody has seen Berry win or do anything except be handed the nomination by the press and the Republicans. He has not won anything it has been given to him and it is all because of his color and the fact the republicans know they can not beat Hillary. Ask my black boss and co workers why they voted for him, and they are all women. Because of his color and only that. They all have this illusion that with him in there they are going to get my job, my boss's job. A house, a car, an education. You all are nuts. I worked for my job, I went to school to get an education, I worked to get my house and car. Nothing has been handed to me, I worked and saved. Nothing is going to change for them. Why because they like to scream discrimination and file discrimination charges.

Former President Clinton attempted again today to portray Sen. Obama in an elitist light while portraying Sen. Clinton as being for the little guy. Watching the live webcast, I actually chuckled here at work. His talking about "if the hard working lower income people stick together and get behind Hillary, Watch and see what happens!" He projected her as one of them, like she even knows what a coal mine looks like, or how to use a food stamp, or what a WIC voucher is. It really sickens me. He played the post 9/11 card again, how Hillary saved all those lives of the ground zero workers by her legislation for health benefits. She didn't do that, she just got onboard with other senators and congressmen. He was in rare form though, almost had them eating out of his hand.

I really hope they can see through all of that and don't get sucked into the quagmyre that is the Clinton campaign rhetoric.

I think that when you only go after a certain group of people in your champagne you may end up in trouble. When this race started I really liked both the candidates and was pretty much was undecided. Now I think the race had turned for the worst. Hillary has really disappointed me with only reaching for the white blue collar voters. Hillary and Bill pretty much had the black votes until they started with the underlining remarks one in Philadelphia and then the one yesterday. How is this unifying the party, what does this tell me as a voter. I can understand why the Super delegates are moving because the statement that was made yesterday was not good for any race. I think the white and black blue collar voters are important, gender, young and old are all important but when you are running for the President of the United States you have got to reach all of us even if in one group percentages are low.

If Obama were to suggest he were more electable because he would likely get a majority of the male Democratic and Independent voters, Hillary, Bill and most of their supporters would blow their collective gasket and have a complete meltdown screaming sexism and worse. While it would be entertaining, it would also reveal the total double standard and borderline scorched earth policy the Clinton camp has adopted.

After all her harping, it will stretch what shred of credibility she has left when she's compelled to support Obama';s candidacy, to the point of being fodder for GOP campaigning and ads.

Floridians have forgotten the mess, when Al Gore won Florida. A Democrat. He lost because of ballot problems? Think about it. As a Floridian, we unfortunately have become a Replubican State. The Democrates say, "the house ruled, to change the election date." The house is a Replubicain base. I see the Govenor on T.V, with John McCain. If you want a Democrat, let's have a rule base Election. With strict oversight. Florida has broke rules before.

jr   May 9th, 2008 1:51 pm ET

As the super delegates slowly and agonizingly diminish in numbers the scales tip from Hillary to Obama. The reason Hillary is losing them and has lost this campaign is because she ran on the politics of "Me and I", instead of "We". Her recent arguments about being the stronger candidate are probably valid arguments based on past democratic nominating tendencies. However, her ambition got in the way of her common sense. If she had run her campaign from the very start any other way then I’m the entitled candidate, this would have been over long ago.

The Clinton's are centrist democrats. This is how Bill governed and what it takes for a democrat to be elected to the presidency. She probably would have governed the same way. If you look at the history of the Democratic Party since the 50's it is very clear that only centrist candidates (Kennedy, Johnson, and Clinton) have garnered the nod (I left Carter off of this list for later explained reasons). The other democratic candidates, Stevenson, McGovern, Humphrey, Mondale, Dukakis, Gore, and Kerry were all left leaning or far left leaning candidates. And guess what they all lost. Some lost so bad it was if they had been run out of town on a rail.

Now with regards to Jimmy Carter, he was basically a neophyte outsider with little experience. He ran his campaign promoting himself as a simple man from Plaines, Georgia with down home country roots and values. He constantly reminded everyone that he was not a Washington insider and that the way Washington did business needed to change (sound familiar). Initially, he was dismissed by the Democratic Party. They thought he was a gadfly who would shortly flitter away. But because America had been through some very bad times (Watergate, Nixon, etc.) his message resonated with Americans. And guess what. Not only did he not go away, he beat the odds. He won the nomination and eventually was elected to the Presidency. The stuff fairy tales with happy ending are made of right? Wrong. It turns out that he too was a far left leaning democrat. Being an outsider with no experience turned out to be a big negative. He had no clue. He alienated the party, he was unable to effect any change, stumbled from one catastrophe to another, ends up making the people in this country feel worse about themselves then they did before they elected him, and gets absolutely trounced by Regan when he runs for reelection. People couldn’t send him back to Plaines fast enough. He turned out to be a great humanitarian but a God Awful president.

Does this mean that if elected to the Presidency Obama will be the next Jimmy Carter? It’s hard to say. Will he in fact win the Presidency in November? My guess, based on the voting history of this country is that unless he absolutely convinces voters that he is capable of and will govern from the middle probably not.

This is the basis for Clinton's arguments. Yes, she is an insider but she intends to govern from the middle. If elected she intends to do so with an iron fist uniting all wings of the party in the center, using the favors owed her and her husband by those same democrats to get things done, Obama does’nt have the experience or favor factor she has to do either. Those issues therefore, to her way of thinking, make her the only democrat that can probably win the election and best serve the nation.

Unfortunately for her, her negatives, her ambition, her grating personality, her campaign strategy, her inability to rein in super delegates, and Obama all conspired to prevent that from happening.

Kendall - Baltimore   May 9th, 2008 1:51 pm ET

The excitement that I had in the beginning of this campaign is returning. It's my sincerest hope that the Democratic party will unite and come together to ensure a victory. If that means an Obama-Clinton ticket so be it. Let's just get on with it.

I understand that Senator Clinton and her supporters are disappointed and perhaps shocked. Still, we have to set this country back on course.

Let's face it. There is very little difference in Clinton's and Obama's stands on the issues. For those Clinton supporters who say they are going to vote for McCain, please examine why you were voting for Senator Clinton. Sentor Clinton and Senator McCain stand as polar opposites.

As an Obama supporter, I would still vote for Senator Clinton. While I don't agree with some of her tactics during the campaign I would not vote for McCain out of spite.

On to a Democratic victory in November!

Susan - Florida   May 9th, 2008 1:50 pm ET

Sorry folks, if Obama gets nominated, I will vote for McCain.

Alameda Chris   May 9th, 2008 1:50 pm ET

How did people become so polarized between the two dem candidates? They are both excellent candidates that would make fine presidents. Also, in the big picture, they are very, very similar in beliefs and positions. Any real Dem or independent that is tired of the failed 8 year long Neocon experiment will get behind the Democratic nominee whether it be Hillary or Barack. I started out supporting Edwards, then when he bowed out, I supported Hillary. Now that it's apparent she has lost, it is time for me to support Barack. This is how Primaries work…always has been. Don't take Hillary's loss so personally. Instead of throwing a tantrum and saying you're not going to vote or are voting for McBush, find some 'testicular fortitude" and move on with it!

Excellent decision! Most U.S. citizens and our neighbors around the world have witnessed the character, judgment, temperature and leadership skills that our country is sore lacking right now in Sen. Barack Obama. We don't need people trying to change the rules in the middle of the game and using divisive politics to get their way. And, now they're trying to retool the math. Clinton is hurting the democratic process and for all of these first-time voters that must be very discouraging and awkward!

From the moment, we learn right from wrong, we were taught to obey rules; whether around the house; within our church, community; school; job and now you have someone bidding for the highest office in the land attempting to "bend the rules, so they can't be bent anymore." This is a sad spectacle in today's politics. Shame, shame, shame, shame, shame, shame, shame, shame on Hillary, Bill and Chelsea!

What kind of judgment causes one to go to a black liberation church for 20 years and has a reverend that is angry and preaches hate? Even Oprah left that church because of what Wright preached. What does that say of Obama's character? How honest was Obama when he said he never heard the Rev. Wright say anything inflammatory? I find it difficult to believe that an intelligent man could sit there for 20 years and not hear what the preacher was saying and continue to sit there unless he supported what the Rev. Wright was saying.

Frankly, I see Obama as another George W. Bush — inexperienced and all talk.

Scott, I'm an Obama supporter, I'm black and frankly I find that statement offensive and unnecessary. I understand that you may not be racist but you are stereotyping and generalizing here. I think you should really broaden your view about thing most especially you relationship to people that are different from you. I know you don't mean to offend anyone and I'm sure you aren't racist but you do need to stop streotyping based on a limited pool of subjects that you've observed through your job.

And now to Senator Clinton, you seriously need to think about the damage you are causing to the party as a whole. I know its difficult for you since you have personal ambitions in life but the decision for picking the nominee isn't based on your personal ambitions but on the electorate. So I applaud your commitment to achieve your ambitions but we need to move on. Just leave with what little dignity you have left. This attitude of desperation you're showing doesn't speak well for the legacy of you and your husband

The faster the supers make their decisions the closer we will get to focusing on the general….we need to start focusing on John McCain who at this point is getting a free ride….

Roofin Reality, Houston, Tx.   May 9th, 2008 1:46 pm ET

For anyone who would champion Senator McCain over Senator Obama (because their choice, in Senator Clinton, didn't win), just consider:
1) Supreme Court
a) Abortion – women, while I don't think it's the right thing to do, I can't, and frankly shouldn't, tell you what you can or should do with a very personal decision.
b) Victims rights – we've seen for too long now the financial destruction of people who have been hurt by a doctor, or a company product or were a whistleblower and were capped at $250,000. Not nearly enough to compensate for their life earnings going forward.
Accused – while I agree with the death penalty in extreme circumstances, how many people have we seen not only come off of death row, but leave prison, exonerated from a conviction.
With all of these and more, do you want more justices like Alito, Scalia, and Thomas.

2) Economy
a) taxes – I'm in an upper income bracket. But I'm smart enough to see some of the struggles that my neighbors and my friends and family have and how that eventually comes bck to me.
b) Big business – how many times do we see the big coproations win out, leaving the little man without a job, and if lucky enough to keep the job, without a pension.
So, if you have any fear at all of losing your job, you might want to really think about what you want to do in November. We see just today that McCain, bless his heart, pushed a land deal thru Congress
that directly benefits one of his campaign managers.

3) Healthcare
For those who have an excellent healthcare, great.
For those of you who don't, or if you lose your job and can't affor COBRA, McCain's current position is for you to just take better care of yourself. At least I think that's what he said last week when he said something to the effect of let the market control itself. I can't remember the exact quote so you'll hve to do a little research on this one.

4) Military
No one can deny that McCain had an exemplary military career. Hats off to him for his bravery and GOD bless him for the years he spent in captivity. Having said that, he's pushing for the Iraq war to continue as it is going, and is sabre rattling as much as Clinton on Iran. In fact didn't he say early this week "that if we get energy independence, we won't have to fight another war in the middle east"?
If you don't mind risk seeing your spouse, child, grandchild, sibling, parent(?) come home like the Miracle Marine (he dies last week), or in a body bag, then let's keep this going.
And, consider where gas costs have gone since Republicans took over in earnest in 2001, how fast have gas prices gone up?

For any of us who don't agree with any of those points above, which are issues that DIRECTLY affect each of us on some individual and personal level, get over yourself and the fact your candidate didn't get the top of the ticket nomination. Heck, I thought Richardson, by far, was the best candidate of ANYBODY running. He didn't win, I'm over it. More important to me are the issuses. Talking about Rev. Wright or Rev. Hagee or anything else not germane to issues that affect how and where I live don't really matter because that's the color of the cake. The substance of the cake is what Democrats should be worried about, not the topping. Crude analgoy but work with me.

Lastly, if you were for Clinton, you are also for Obama, and vice versa. Why? Because they have voted 90% of their time together in the Senate the same way. Their votes are diametrically OPPOSITE of McCain. And their policies that they've championed are very close, and clearly OPPOSITE of McCain. So, if you like Clinton's positions, you should like Obama's positions. And if you like Clinton's positions, you should abhor McCain's position. With that in mind, I hope you now (certainly in November) can see clearly that voting for change is the way to go.
GOD, please bless us all.

They are just wanting their 5 minutes of fame.

Clinton Supporters/McCain Democrats:

I must pose a few brief questions for you.

-You are constantly blogging about how nasty Obama supporters are, with this statement are portraying the idea that you blogs are not nasty?

-As you continue to support Clinton, which by all means fine and well deserved, how many times through her campaign has she changed her song? Superdelegates should decide the outcome, the voters should decide the outcome, no, the superdelegates should decide the outcome. I ask you fairly, whom is it?

-Are you actually willing to let the GOP back in the White House, have the scare tactics worked to the extent that you all will become McCain democats? Are you willing to add more conservative Supreme Court Judges, are you willing to have more Bush Tax Cuts, are you willing to keep up the fight in Iraq?

If you are it is your choice, who is nasty now?

ITS TIME ITS TIME ITS TIME. Call your other superdelegates and put an end to the destruction of obama's bid for the white house just because you can't have it clinton/bush. ITS TIME we had change in the white house not the clinton/bush royalty of 20 years–20 YEARS and look at what we got. ITS TIME for someone who opposed the war, who would read the material saying iraq had nothing to do with 911. ITS TIME the lies stop.

PAUL VS CLINTON FRAUD. read this.

Why will I not vote for Obama? I just don't like him, the way he speaks, the jokes he makes during his speeches… I don't like his supporters and the way they trashed Hillary (who I have met and does put America First)… I really wanted to vote for the first Black President, and after Obama was first on the stage he was amazing! but now it seems I will not vote or vote for Nader… If the attacks from Obama on McCane are just as bad as the DNC ads I will vote for him…

The DNC lost a life long supporter this year, and no its not Hillary that did it, its the supporters of Obama, and DNC leaders, and the media…

lydia - Georgetown University   May 9th, 2008 1:43 pm ET

Unlike the Kerry – Bush elections of 2004, we are not choosing between the "lesser of two evils". Obama stands for all that we would like to see changed in this country's administration and the continuation of the Democratic race is not only hurting Obama (as we fabricate the intensity of issues that have nothing to do with the race), it is hurting the potential to put a Democratic leader in the White House. McCain will not have to run any smear campaigns ads because the dems are already doing it for him!

Let us all come togather and work toward winning the White House.

Let end the division, let us build the team to run in the fall. Senator Clinton should not be on the ticket unless she change her posture on senator Obama..

Milley Obama   May 9th, 2008 1:41 pm ET

Keep them coming…..Clinton is done….caput! All her arguments about electability does not hold. All Obama needs is a VP who is white and/or a woman and he will get the Hillary votes…

Hillary is desparate….she'll say anything to get the nomination….now that she's running out of money….she's trying to get all her money back….LOL

Michael   May 9th, 2008 1:41 pm ET

This election will be one for the records.

I would love to see a woman in office, but Hillary Clinton is not that woman. Her actions when she was Bill's wife, then as first lady, and now as she's running for the top spot confirm that Hillary is divisive, deceitful, and arrogant. Her campaign was all about "What could America do for her" and millions of women fell for it because of gender bias, they fail to see the true motives behind her own speeches.

Barack Obama will win in November. He's different, slow to anger, wise, non judgmental, and non divisive. He and his campaign won this fair and square and I am very proud of him and Michelle Obama along with the men and women who tirelessly helped to support this campaign.

Yes We Can, and we WILL in 2008.

Much respect to Barack Obama and his supporters.

Janel, St. Paul, MN   May 9th, 2008 1:41 pm ET

I question those who say Clinton is more electable than Obama.

A race between Clinton and McCain will be "ho hum, here we go again." Clinton represents what was, her husband is now a liability, and she is definitely a polarizing figure.

A race between Obama and McCain will be exciting (albeit McCain is pretty boring). Obama represents a new beginning, his wife will be a wonderful first lady, and he will be a uniter.

Go Obama!

Please other superdelegates, please follow suit, commit to Obama ASAP and end this — Hillary's continuing campaign is damaging the Democratic party more and more each day. Espinoza must have a very low threshold for his asessment of "judgement and character". But then, he is a DNC member and that nearly says it all. Is there any area of politics more suspect for corruption; disrespect for the process and end result of the electoral college; and resolute apathy towards their members than the DNC?

The super delegates should solve the Democratic problem by endorsing Sen. Obama. Now, I guess he needs about 180 more delegates to win the nomination. That could happen soon. meanwhile, I feel that the Obama camp should work very hard in both West Virginia and Kenturky and not just simply conceed the two States to Hillary. It will be a big mistake on their part as Hillary may gain another momentum … to no avail. It will just delay the time for her withdrawal and create more damages to the electability of Obama.

Not an insult aimed at Hillary, but just a question…..If Mrs. Clinton claims to care so much for the voters of MI and FL not getting disenfranchised, then how does she justify not accepting the agreement that MI proposed to seat their delegates which gave her a 10 delegate advantage. She turned it down over 4 delegates people. She wanted the split to give her 73 instead of 69. Now how much caring and concern does that show for the voters there????? Maybe there is a rationale that I need to be made aware of.

HILLARY HAS FOUGHT A COURAGEOUS BATTLE, AND HER SUPPORTERS SHOULD BE PROUD OF HER. IT'S TIME NOW FOR ALL DEMOCRATS TO STEP BACK FROM THE ACRIMONY OF THE PRIMARY, AND UNITE BEHIND OBAMA, FOR WHAT IS BOUND TO BE AN EVEN MORE FIERCE BATTLE AGAINST MACAIN.

HH   May 9th, 2008 1:31 pm ET

Its over now, her lead in superdelagates is GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

John, Lakeland FL   May 9th, 2008 1:31 pm ET

I truly wish Senator Clinton would make the right the decision here. It is clear she has no chance of winning and it's time to put the party's interests above hers. I hope all of Senator Clinton's supporters will unite behind the party and support our nominee.

Now, I would encourage everyone to be civil. I am dismayed at the comment by Michele from Oregon that the Senator is racist. It's time to unite folks so stop the name calling already. Let's rock…

Sam   May 9th, 2008 1:31 pm ET

All the whining brats, who claim to be democrats, and who are spouting off that they'll vote for McCain over Obama likely live in Republican states anyway – so there vote is moot anyway. Educated, mature democrats in states that matter will not cross party lines in order to express childish anger and resentment.

Ken   May 9th, 2008 1:31 pm ET

Here is just another "Blind" follower of the "Pied Piper". Our country looks like we will be going further downhill than we already are. Bush got us in this mess, and if Obama is our next President, we are going to be in a even worst mess than we already are.

So many "Blind" people following the "Pied Piper" WHAT IS THIS COUNTRY COMING TOO?

Obama DOES NOT have the talent, skills, knowledge nor the experience to get this country out of the mess that Bush got us into.

Before I vote for Obama, I will vote for John McCain, and I am a Democrat! At this rate, I might even change my party and become a "Independent", and I still WILL NOT vote for Obama!

Toto   May 9th, 2008 1:31 pm ET

3 more and it's time to queue the Munchkins.

Farrell, Houston, Tx   May 9th, 2008 1:30 pm ET

Please don't bash Hillary or her supporters. We must unite to keep John McCain from installing the draft and sending our children to war. If you don't believe this will happen, you're completly out of touch. Vote Democrat.

Joe Regis   May 9th, 2008 1:30 pm ET

Ah Hillary! Go home and get some rest, I think you can use some rest.

By bye HILL!!!!!!!!!!

GO OBAMA GO!!!

OBAMACAN 08!!!

joyce   May 9th, 2008 1:30 pm ET

hurry hurry hurry

An Agnostic Democrat   May 9th, 2008 1:30 pm ET

Maybe this steady drip of superdelegates will be enought to wash the crazy and delusional creme rinse outta Hilly's hair. And she thought all this time that it was her "thinking cap".

Paul, Riverside, CA   May 9th, 2008 1:30 pm ET

At this point Hillary can keep running, but she looks terribly desperate.

Candice in VA   May 9th, 2008 1:29 pm ET

Thank you kind Sir. Democrats Unite!!

CantBelieveThis   May 9th, 2008 1:29 pm ET

Glory, don't be so BITTER now..Game is over..whether you like it or not. Obama is the nominee..now..start giving him some credit.

I hope HRC doesn't do more harm to the democratic party,,gets out and gives enough time to regroup and strategize for the general election

Obama / Clinton 08!!!!   May 9th, 2008 1:29 pm ET

UNITE AND WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"United we stand devided we fall."

Scott ATL   May 9th, 2008 1:28 pm ET

What America is witnessing is what happens whenever a white woman is told "no" or does not get her way. I'm trying not to sound racist, but this is what I see.

And her behavior (dragging it out even thought she's clearly lost) seems so odd to us because we're not used to seeing a desparate white woman being told no on a national level.

Being in the customer service environment, her behavior doesn't surprise me. Anytime I have to tell a white woman "no", or "I'm sorry ma'am… We can't do that…" They react as a child throwing a temper tantrum… They've never been denied before, and how dare they be denied now…

I don't mean to offend anyone or paint with a broad brush, but that's how I see it…

Luke   May 9th, 2008 1:28 pm ET

I am sorry but I can not support Obama.
I probably will not go so far as to vote mccain, I think I will write in Clinton.
The only way I will vote for Obama is if Clinton is the VP.

frank   May 9th, 2008 1:28 pm ET

Thanks for your vote, for the change, hope, trust, we can believed

Dana in north Carolina   May 9th, 2008 1:28 pm ET

Thank you.

Sue Polinick / Emporium, PA   May 9th, 2008 1:28 pm ET

Welcome Aboard!!!

YES WE CAN……………….and WILL!!!!!

President Obama 08 :)

Whiskey   May 9th, 2008 1:27 pm ET

If you are a supposed Democrat and are saying if not Hillary then McCain then………..Simply put ………..you are not a democrat and simply a moron. Unite!!!!!! Voting wise and core democratic beleifs they are almost identical. Everyone get over the Feminist and Racist attitudes.

Praetorian, Fort Myers   May 9th, 2008 1:27 pm ET

Great endorsement–totally not based in facts. The candidates resume and diversionary tactics on real issues speak for themselves.

Tom, dick, and Harry   May 9th, 2008 1:27 pm ET

I am mad as hell, and i'm not going to take it anymore, the left wing media is picking on my girl Hillary. All the pundits on MSNBC act like little school girls following around behind obama with their noses shoved up his @ss trying to get a sniff when he farts.

. So i will donate 100.00 to Clinton's campain.

Jai in PA   May 9th, 2008 1:26 pm ET

I am a Hillary supporter who WILL support Obama if he is the nominee and it looks like he will be. As Democrats we have to unite. Clinton and her supporters deserve to be treated with respect because all of us will be necessary to win in November. Now I am not foolish enough to believe that all of the negative comments about Clinton and her supporters are coming from Obama supporters – I'm sure most are coming from Republicans wishing to drive a further wedge, but those that are, need to re-think their approach and encourage unity in the party.

mitchell from arkansaw   May 9th, 2008 1:26 pm ET

there's a change coming!bbye bush.you've raped our nation long enough!bbye, hillary, you've managed to keep this government in grid-lock,long enough.bbye mccain, time for you to go to the old folks home.HELLO PRESIDENT OBAMA!TIME TO MAKE A FEW CHANGES ROUND HERE!

A.   May 9th, 2008 1:26 pm ET

Democrats, we need to come together. You need to stop threatening to vote for John McCain. John McCain is going to try to overturn Roe V. Wade, he is going to keep us in Iraq and possibly go into Iran, he represents the failed policies of the Bush administration. Obama and Clinton have very similar views, their main difference lies in their personality.

Please don't vote for him out of spite, think logically.

Allen In North Carolina   May 9th, 2008 1:25 pm ET

Sweet…. That'll help the senator with the hispanic vote……
HEY!!!!…… Is That the fat lady I hear singing in the background?

CantBelieveThis   May 9th, 2008 1:25 pm ET

And still she's campaigning in Oregon talking about electability !!

She's food for all the comedy shows for days to come.

Gabriel   May 9th, 2008 1:24 pm ET

Prediction: Obama meets Clinton's superdelegate total today. Takes the majority over the weekend.

Atty. K.   May 9th, 2008 1:24 pm ET

Here we go!!! As I said before, keep the superdelegates coming. Please Hillary, bow out gracefully and save you and Bill some money and face.

Whiskey   May 9th, 2008 1:24 pm ET

another domino falls. stop the hatred all clinton and obama supporters and elect our (meaning our countrys) democratic candidate Obama. unity is key. If clinton was the nominee, she could not win without Obama supporters. so all of you disgruntled abnd bitter supporters on both parties grow up.

Independent   May 9th, 2008 1:24 pm ET

Lovely. Now democrats, BE NICE to each other!

Lorna, NY   May 9th, 2008 1:23 pm ET

Go Obama!!!

Chief lagosboy, NJ   May 9th, 2008 1:23 pm ET

Yes!, another great endorsement from another great American. Sir, I thank you and the American public thanks you! You sir, are truly a great American! This prolonged race is devastating to the party and tearing the party apart. Welcome aboard the winning team………we are almost to the mountain top!

Congratulation Obama, we are almost home!

Our President Obama 08′ & 12′

honkey white guy from cali   May 9th, 2008 1:23 pm ET

welcome aboard! I would like to point out ABC is already reporting that by there count Obama was ahead in superdelegates this am before this endorsement perhaps CNN should do dome fact checking to verify. Between the Huff and post and other media outlets CNN has been scoped at every turn in the election cycle!

Michelle Oregon   May 9th, 2008 1:23 pm ET

Keep them coming so we can get the racist Clinton's out the race. Trying to play the race card to scare up white votes Hillary is a LIar and a Racist she will never get my vote

sacto joe   May 9th, 2008 1:22 pm ET

Most of the haters on these forums are Rush Limbaugh fans. They've never voted Democrat in their lives!

James   May 9th, 2008 1:22 pm ET

Vooooooooommm….Hillary the bus is leaving. See ya!

Obama Supporter, but anybody but McCain 08!   May 9th, 2008 1:21 pm ET

Great!

Helene   May 9th, 2008 1:21 pm ET

One more ! Great and welcome. Obama will win the Presidency !

Glory   May 9th, 2008 1:21 pm ET

What would be worse than a Republican party in the Whitehouse?
It would be placing a Democratic president in the Whitehouse who does not have a history of good judgment. During Wolf Blitzer’s interview yesterday, Barak Obama said he would use his judgment. Scary, especially when it comes to national security! One will never know who is coming to dinner at the Whitehouse???
In Canada, we are hoping the American people are not heading for more troubles. Hoping Barak Obama is as patriotic as he says he is. Hoping the American people will use their better judgment in choosing their leader. Hoping the changes he is promising will be, all good for you and your children.

sacto joe   May 9th, 2008 1:21 pm ET

Women especially need to seriously reconsider their backing for Hillary – She's damaging their cause.

We need to come together, and unite behind the presumptive candidate. Those who have yet to vote can help heal the wounds now by doing this.

It's time for potential Hillary supporters to convince Hillary to cease and desist the tearing down of her fellow Democrat. It's time to unite the party by voting for Barak.

proud army and navy mom   May 9th, 2008 1:20 pm ET

good man….welcome
