(CNN) – Even as she faces pressure from some to call her White House bid quits, Hillary Clinton holds a commanding lead in West Virginia, according to a new poll released Friday.
Clinton has a 43-point advantage over Obama, 66 percent to 23 percent, according to a new survey from the American Research Group.
The poll was conducted entirely after Tuesday's primary results, and carries a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
The poll suggests Clinton’s white, working class base seems to be holding firm for her - at least in West Virginia, where that demographic makes up a substantial portion of the Democratic electorate.
West Virginia, one of the six contests left in the Democratic presidential race, votes next Tuesday.

Obama will be the nominee, but he better be very careful before writing off WV and KY, just because she is expected to win. I promise you a lot of the states he won in the primary/caucuses will be republican in Nov, so he better at least make an effort to hold onto states that may vote Democrat historically.

It is a shame for Clinton to campaign based on race. I guess she has nothing left to say. Some people are brave and they face the inevitable with grace and their dignity in place. Hillary chose to divide the party on racial lines. She is not doing herself any good as it will even turn off reasonable while people. I've seen and heard the Obama fanatics attack Bill and Hillary but now they seem to be attacking the voters who are supporting her. For everyone who is attacking West Virginians, why aren't they as entitled to their opinion as you are? Why are they deserving of scorn because they don't support your candidate? This worries me, a lot, because I can see this happening during an Obama regime, people who disagree will be verbally attacked and smeared for having the Audacity to disagree with his version of Hope and Change.
As John Edwards stated earlier today "It is tough for her to make the math work!!" With her comments yesterday about white voters is anyone surprised about the lead in West Virginia??
