(CNN) – Even as she faces pressure from some to call her White House bid quits, Hillary Clinton holds a commanding lead in West Virginia, according to a new poll released Friday.
Clinton has a 43-point advantage over Obama, 66 percent to 23 percent, according to a new survey from the American Research Group.
The poll was conducted entirely after Tuesday's primary results, and carries a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
The poll suggests Clinton’s white, working class base seems to be holding firm for her - at least in West Virginia, where that demographic makes up a substantial portion of the Democratic electorate.
West Virginia, one of the six contests left in the Democratic presidential race, votes next Tuesday.

The state is so irrelavant that Obama spends more time on talking with superdelegates and the potential 14 pleged delegates she will get more than Obama, will be more than outbalanced by the 20 extra superdelegates.
Hmmm West Virgina who really freakin cares. That state is dominated by republicans and if she wins the state who really cares. Hillary drop out and face reality that you can not win.

Clinton claims that lower-income and uneducated white Democrats will not vote for Obama. Looking at the polling in WV. their must be plenty of the low-income and uneducated white voter in that state.
I am a MODERATE......just can't take the idea of the MOST LIBERAL Senator becoming president...sounds too much like a Carter Presidency....and I am old enough to remember that hell.....bye bye Democratic Party....My family will now register Independent and vote with our heads in November....hopefully a good Moderate Experienced Candidate will surface soon
So if these numbers hold she'll cut his lead by a total of 10...all right...way to go...
Does it matter to her or to the country? Is her plan to beat Obama for 2012 or get VP? Again, it is all about her, not you voters.
This is what you will see in November people. Most white voters will vote for McCain. Sad, but true.
Lets be real we all know that racism exist in this country, what folks have to realize is it is not about black or white its about intelligence and who has the fortitude to runs this country. Obama has the right spirit, candor, guts and know how of what direction this country has to move in and get back to forieng negotiations to bring about a harmony with our alies and neighbors. we need a fresh new start because the bush's, cheney's, and condies have jack this country up and has made millions on the backs of this country with fear. I don't get it. If the particular state doesn't support Obama they are, "uneducated, all related, and shooting from pickup trucks". Now why would I want to support a candidate whose supporters think like that. I thought OB and you where above the negative comments. Apparently not.
so when a state that is 95% white votes for a white person in droves and Clintonites say they will rather vote for a guy [McCain] with opposite views than their original choice before voting for a guy who is very similar to their original choice (except for skin color)...it really raises some questions.
So how come when predominately black areas vote for a black candidate it is looked at as shameful? But when whites vote for a white candidate nobody bats an eye. Please spare me.

Personally I would like a female, for the first time to be president. So that maybe one day I can tell my daughter and granddaughter they could become president if they wanted. All women should come together and remember " The Women's Suffrage Act ". And what we had to do just to be allowed to vote that wasn't to long ago. 1920- When it became a amendment to the United States consituation.

I would like to say this for all the Hillary racist people. Now if Obama wins the election, you'll don't have to vote for him. Now if HIllary wins and the black people say they want vote for her and there are more blacks then white, then that is telling you'll that Hillary need the black votes as well as the white votes. Race should not matter, and for all you black senators, congress people and etc. who stands besides Hillary is no better than she is to have a candidate speak like that about race in such a proud tone.
