Every derogaroty comment made by Obama's followers about West Virginia just pushes more voters away from him in Nov.
For allegedly being the "smart educated group", you are making
a very dumb tactical move.
A side note: I drove home from Co. last yr & driving thru
West Virginia I was amazed at how beautiful it was.
I commented on that to my wife...also Kentucky.

Let her have WV, I just heard her say vote white. She doesn’t represent all the people. The world is changing, it’s going to take everybody coming together to survive. We should all be called Americans, without an adjective before it, such as White Americans, African Americans, Hispanic Americans etc.,

All Obama has to do is knock it down to about 20 points just so he can force Hillary to spend money she doesn't have! He doesn't even need to get close, he just needs to buy up some ads to make her buy what she can afford.

They're just prolonging the inevitable, but if they want to keep limping along, that's fine with me.

AND?
What does she want? The Clintons' Vice Presidency?
She is strong but the reality she came in with negative that she could not make up- Bill O' Reilly told her that too. When you as a mother running for the Presidency has to define yourself by alcoholic- there is a problem. This is not a sorority campaign for president.
All the political pundits are singing, "Goodbye " to her campaign but not to her political career in another direction.
Who pays her the 11 million debt? Certainly it will not be West Virginia voters or Kentucky? She is so one of us I suggest she sells candy bars and Clinton Cokkies at the county and state fairs. You think?

Well,
Hillary gets her "white American" votes, as if white Americans are the only hard working Americans in this country and their vote is all that matters to her campaign because other non-white American votes are not as important.
I know that was a run-on sentence, but what makes me sick is the fact that she is enthused about the voters who would rather vote for her than see a black man as president. sad and pathetic.................

Now we'll see how the Obama people like it when they see all the NON-VOTERS for Obama. Maybe they will get it thru their heads that he is only getting the black vote nowadays. Iowa is long gone and those that voted for him are in deep regret. Who knew at the time they were voting for an unpatriotic candidatem, not to mention dear old Michelle, and a guy with no real ideas of his own. His famous last words are "I agree with Hillary". Not a thought in his head. He even has someone else write those lovely speeches. This guy can't do anything!!!
Go Hillary, we love you!!!

If Obama has yet to reach the magical number and she's gonna win more states, then why shouldn't Clinton continue?? Sure, the math is very unlikely to work for Clinton this time around. But like every other politician out there, she's gotta look out for #1. It doesn't mean it's right, but that's the way and life of every sick and twisted egomaniac running for office - especially at the presidential level. All politicians are the same, don't tell me otherwise. That said, Clinton is smart to continue and build her base for a possible if not likely 2012 presidential run. If Obama loses to McCain, then she's already ahead of the pack to challenge for 2012. No Obama and his core of black voters to deal with then. Losers get eliminated from contention: Dukakis, Gore, Kerry, etc... Four years isn't that far away, just think back to how quick college went by.

Sure building her base of support, winning states, votes and delegates for Clinton now is akin to hitting a useless HR in baseball or scoring a TD in football when your team is gonna lose the game anyways. It might not matter now, but those stats still count when it's time to negotiate a lucrative contract. In Clinton's case, that would mean cashing in 2012.

Like it or not, politics isn't a team sport - it's every man for himself.

I hope the people of W. Virginia will not turn out to fit the stereotype of the uneducated, racist, hillbilly. I have to believe that they have a little more decency and intellect than that.

I'm going to say this everyday till November---25 yr. Democrat member. I've NEVER voted Republican and NEVER WILL!! When I see Democrats suggest to not vote or vote Republican, turns my stomach. There have been plenty of years that my candidate didn't make it as my nominee...I never considered switching parties. We are Democrats for a reason a no vote or a vote for Republican has lasting consequences--Supreme Court (Judges), Iraq War, Pro-Choice Rights, etc.<--YOU VOTE REPUBLICAN THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE IMPACTING!!! McCain said last week or this week that he would nominate Supreme Court Judges that support Pro-LIfe/Anti-Abortion. Seriously, think about it!!

How many people live in West Virginia who aren't related to everybody else. Billary must have a cousin there so that means she's related to 99% of the state's population. Who wouldn't vote for their cousin? They speak the same Hillbilly language.

Seriously, the people in West Virginia are great people, and I'm just jiving about them all being related. J.F.K. carried West Virginia in his time so for sure Obama will carry them as well. When he's running for president. Obama for President!

What a bunch of idiots!
As a white older male, with an education who follows politics closely, it is simply a fact that for the last 46 years, that without a 90% African American vote for the Democrats, not a single Democratic president would have been elected!
It is absolutely outrageous that anyone would accuse African Americans of being racist for overwhelmingly votig for a candidate (50% white) who is so emunently qualified, that they can actually relate to!
Look in the mirror if you twits want to see a racist…the reflection will be white!

I'm happy they are supporting Hillary clinton the most qualified and most experianced person in the race. Obama has only been in the senate for 3.5 years. What are people thinking? we can not put someone like that in the white house, are you kidding me? Regardless if she is expected to win this state or not, it's not a good enough excuse for obama to put the blame on this if he should lose. Obama thinks he has the nomination in the bag, but didn't anyone ever tell him that old saying? Dont count your chickens before they hatch.

You know I just don't remember hearing all this when out 100% of black votes in NC 92% voted for Obama and 8% voted for Hillary. I guess you Obama supporters can make an excuse here to make it different though. Same thing when Hillary says something about him she is negative but when she is Auntie Oakley it's not negative it is funny.

I am so over Obama supporters. First of all, you do realize that your candidate will need us Clinton supporters in the fall, right? We make up 49% of the Democratic Party. Second of all, I just don't get all the bashing if everyone is so certain he is the nominee. It's 3 weeks left of primaries, let everyone have a vote for crying out loud.

Besides, I just don't think it would look so hot if she bowed out now and then he proceeded to lose WV, KY and PR to someone that was not in the race. She is doing him a favor, trust me.

i like cnn, fox & msnbc. They stir up unnecessary stories. Give us a break. This time round human wisdom, skill and machinations are not working as planned. things are just changing because we are praying. This country comes 1st. every other interest second . no more time for the rich.

For anyone who says that blacks are voting by race are a little ignorant. When Bill Clinton ran for office in 1996 he got nearly 90% of the African Amercian Vote- Additionally, if Barack Obama was a republican he'd be getting less than half the vote. When Obama first started his campaign the majority of African American voters were Clinton supporters. Once they got to understand his persona and policies and to a large part his viability as a candidate they rallied around him.

Pay attention to history- you can call it a double standard or racism but it's more about symbolism. It's hugely symbolic for an African American in a country that has a legacy of slavery and discrimination to be elected President- It puts those issues squarely in the past. White people understand this too. Finally there's a bit of psychology involved. When you're outnumbered, smaller, a minority or the underdog you tend to rally around what you consider to be your own. The "minority" psychology" isn't defined by race but can be.

Simple math problem ...

# of superdelegates Obama has won in the last 4 hours is greater than any net gain of delegates Clinton gets from winning West Virginia

Ummm people, that's a big lead. i dunno :/ it's kindof a big gap to me. I hope Barack doesn't forget the people of WV. People in these later states need time to heal and time to prepare themselves for the fact that maybe their candidate would not be President. And that's a tuff thing to do.

But anyhow, as the superdelegates roll in for 08AMA, it's harder to get these pantsuits sold.....the auction has began for the sale of pantsuits to help my candidate's campaign, i'll drop the price from $2300 to $5 a piece....going going...

It is a very sad time for us democrats. HRC can’t win the nomination and BHO can’t win the general election. On the bright side, John McCain is an honorable man and well respected by people from both parties. He will be much, much better President than Bush. For the first time in this liberal democrat’s life, I will vote Republican and be happy to do so.
