I can understand why the Super Delegates are now endorsing Obama. They may or may not support him but they do feel it will help bring the party together. Unfortunately, despite the gowing rhetoric I don't think the party will come together. Oh sure, we'll hear all the calls for uniting to defeat the Republicans and win back the White House. On the surface Democrats will "put on a good face" and soldier onward. However, I believe this primary campaign has exposed deep differences among Democrats. The differences might not be seen openly throughout the general election campaign. However, it may been seen when the ballots are tallied come Novermber and Democrats find themselves asking how in the world did the Republicans win again.

TO: Hillary Clintons Supporters

From: ObamaNation - Mobile

Re: G.E. Will VOTE for McCain...100-yr WAR

This, by no means is a beg for your vote. But rather a call for common sense. Do you all really hate Barack Obama that much that you will agree to murdering thousands more our men and women in the US military, who throug no fought of their own have been subjected to fight for OIL day and night. It's hard for me to believe that Hillary's supporter could or would be so HEARTLESS and UNASHAMED to vote to continue a war that you, I and the republican know is un-winable and senseless. I urge each of you, if for nothing else...VOTE TO BRING OUR MEN AND WOMEN HOME...Home, where they wanna' be.

as past political propaganda. We are now witniessing History

unfolding before our very eyes, as the nations' first Democratically

Oh, I almost forgot.......160, 159, 158, 157............

217 elected delegates to go, Obama should get at least 100. Hillary will need 80% of the remaining superdelegates. That, in consideration of the fact that Obama has garnered 2/3 of the 251 superdelegates who have announced since Super Tuesday.

BTW, did I just hear that a Hillary supporter, Harvey Weinstein, threatened Nancy Pelosi (with the withholding financial support from Democratic candidates) in an attempt to get her to accept a Florida settlement VERY favorable to Clinton. Wow.

BTW2: Search for Blumenthal on Huffington Post. It appears the Clintons have their own Carl Rove.

Hilary has'nt campaigned this week on the gas tax. The race is OVER....It's time for us to be focusing our attention to McBush. after next week Obama will have the Superdelegate lead.

Hilary is just in the race to steal err...raise more money for her record setting debt. How can a candidate for President so mismanage her contributors hard earned money.

How they can continue to contribute to her failing campaign is beyond me, They owe Mark Penn $10 million.....What a waste.

The media has all but ruled out Hillary as a viable candidate.
Her supporters are switching sides.
Her campaign is low on funds.
Thinks look bleak indeed.

But she can count on a few supporters, living in denial and hatred, to keep her going a few more miles. And if they don't get their way, they threaten to vote Republican. Heck, I'm a republican and I probably won't vote for McCain. We don't need to spend the next four years and billions of dollars fighting "terrorism" overseas. It won't work. Period.

So, Hillary/McCain supporters, go ahead and do the wrong thing. I hope you can sleep at night knowing that you helped to derail our economy and leave an untold number of wives and children without a husband and father.

Obama can easily win in November if Democrats don't shoot themselves in the foot and vote out of anger instead of logically.

The Reverend Wright incident has been played to death, but Hagee and Parsley will be fresh meat in main stream media and they'll likely go after it like the piranhas they are.

Then it will come down to:
- Who wants to keep killing our kids for oil (McCain)
- Who will protect the rich (McCain)
- Who will work for all of us (Obama)
- Who has the better record for women's rights (Obama)
- Who is against the new G.I. Bill (McCain)
  etc.

The stark differences between these two will make it an easy choice
- Who has the better record for our soldier's rights

Without the Superdelegates there is NO way for Clinton to win... Clinton has known that for a LONG time. How her supporters can give Obama a hard time for the Superdelegates putting him over the top, when his lead over Clinton is already insurmountable.

After May 20th when he gets the majority of the pledged delegates awarded by VOTERS, Clinton wont be able to overtake his lead even if she wins 100% of the contests that come after.

Barack Obama WON... There was no shady deal, there wasn't some conspiracy to screw Clinton out of the nomination, she just plain lost and her supporters are sore whiny losers just like Clinton herself.

The caucus system was never contested before, nobody ever had a problem with it, until Clinton lost them and whined about them.

She is the worst loser I have ever seen in my life.

Obama won the popular vote, the most states, the most Superdelegates and the most pledged delegates. That is EVERY SINGLE measure of victory, she has NONE. How you can say SHE should be given the nomination makes no sense at all.

Sad...

I like those who are pushing Hillary to run as an Independent:

If Hillary, with all the large democratic base, Clinton name etc.. cannot
--raise enough money to run the current campaign
--maintain the large superdelegate number that she started with
--even win most of the "Black" votes
--keep her campaign leaders together,
--win over this "unknown" Obama, then let her run as an Independent.

I wait for the Republicans to lay hands Hillary. She would need to be away from the democratic party by the time Republicans get to Hillary. Good luck Hillary, run as an Independent candidates!!!

Hillary Democrats. Imagine the first Woman President of the United States of America. West Virginia and Kentucky, send your message loud and clear to the party leaders, the super delegates, and the one annointed by Teddy. We look forward to your courageious vote. Hillary will not disappoint. And we look forward to the first Woman President of the United States of America. God Bless America.

Every news source has articles on how both candidates are appealing to superdelegates. It has long been understood that no one can win without them.

I can't understand the Clinton supporters vemon now that the superdelegates are stating their preference.

Everytime anything happens that is in Obama favors sprouts these it's not fair nonsense. Tiome for some of you to take a time out and think about what you are saying!!

well, Obama will have to work with everyone to unify the party. But when he talks about the new politics, he talks about resolving the issues that faces our country and not play games for political advantages.

WE ADMIRE HILLARY CLINTON'S TENACITY AND WANT HER TO CONTINUE UNTIL MICHIGAN AND FLORIDA VOTES AND DELEGATES ARE SEATED AND COUNTED. OTHERWISE THERE WILL BE HUGE DEFECTIONS FROM THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY.
AND THEN THERE IS THE QUESTIN OF OBAMA'S CHOICE FOR VP.
IF HILLARY WANTS IT AND OBAMA DENIES IT TO HER. OBAMA CAN SAY GOODBYE TO HIS CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT.
hILLARY'S CONSTITUENCY IS HUGE AND EVEN WITHOUT MICHIGAN AND FLORIDA SHE HAS MANAGED TO STAY COMPETITIVE. AND HILLARY HAS A FEW VERY POWERFUL OPTIONS.. WE WILL NOT MENTION THEM HERE.

I understand why many women view a female presidency as an important milestone for the United States. However, I believe electing an African American would have more far reaching implications as to the social progress of our country considering the vast injustices they suffered and continue to suffer today. One must only look to Senator Clinton's campaign as evidence. Aside from a large group of women voters her support and success in this contest is due largely to elderly, white, uneducated voters who when polled have said they would rather vote for Senator McCain then Senator Obama. Such a trend among Clinton's supporters suggests they prefer a white candidate to a black one, regardless of the vast differences between Clinton's and McCain's political ideologies. This is ignorance, it is racism, and it is evidence that race is still a very important issue in the United States. It's time to show the world we can transcend the ignorance. It's time to transcend the rhetoric and elect a President who knows what they stand for and has real plans to implement change in our country. It is time for Obama.

COMEDY? or IRONY?

For whatever it's worth..perhaps, even the most intelligent woman on earth (could she be?) is not immune to some susceptibility to superstition...and bless her heart, after all this is her life's ambition at stake..

Hillary thinks.....hmmm....the NY Giants won the Suer Bowl in the last minute...no, wait, the last 35 seconds! Maybe that was a sign for me to stay in the race for I may in fact be destined to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, no matter how hopeless it looks now. Just kep on fighting.

God speaks, to the now almighty superdelegates: the NY Giants spoiled the perfect season for the Patriots..if you love your country and want to take it back...you have your perfect season - DON'T VOTE FOR CLINTON!!

and then there was light!

I predicted that if America elected Bush to presidency, America would be at war within one year. I predict now, that if Obama becomes the president, America will face a financia l crisis like it hasn't seen since 1929. This is not a racial comment, it's an economic one. I've studied history all my life; political, social and economics. Let's see if I'm right again.

Like the poster in the previous article I will never ever contribute again one single penny to any Democrat who supports obama. He is a done nothing and do nothing and has ruined this party. McCain will tear his butt up.....I am starting a website DEMOCRATS FOR MCCAIN.

I can not understand how people can support someone who does not know one darn thing about what he is doing. He reads a speech someone else writes for him and the young and the blacks have fits over him. You can look over black people. They are just out to see a black president no matter who it is., but people should look at what kind of politican he has been. He sits back and does nothing and that's who the want. He consorts with Iraqi crooks and Chicago gangsters and that's what they want. Well he will sink into oblivion after McCain landslides him so we won't be bothered any more. Since he has never done anything in the state or federal congress anyway he can spend his days cutting out paper dolls.

Eye-Popping Survey By ccAdvertising

It appears that Barack Obama’s self-inflicted negative publicity is having an effect on his chances at the Presidency. He may be doing strong in the Democrat Party, but the following survey shows he is not doing so well with the electorate at large.

From May 1, 2008 through May 5, 2008, ccAdvertising completed a survey to a combined total of 90,000 homes in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania (10,000 homes from each state) extracted from the ccAdvertising database.

This survey compared John McCain, the presumptive Republican Nominee for President against Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, the final contestants in the race for the Democrat nomination for President. Combined results from respondents to this survey show:

John McCain Versus Hillary Clinton:

John McCain = 40.98%
Hillary Clinton = 42.04%
No Preference = 16.98%

John McCain Versus Barack Obama:

John McCain = 45.90%
Barack Obama = 40.42%
No Preference = 13.68%

I hope Hillary is the nominee, but it will take an act of God for that to happen. Obama does not have the experience to be in the White House. He is an eloquent speaker, he motivates people, and makes everyone feel good, but what has he accomplished. Everytime I read that another superdelegate is endorsing Obama, I think we are supposed to be moving forward, not backward.

Hillary supports crack me up, they complain about rules which all the candidates agreed to, and threaten to vote for McCain because their candidate lost even though he is nothing more than a continuation of Bush. Hillary and Obama's policies are virtually identical, they both are well educated and smart, and would both make far better presidents than McCain. This unfortunately leads me to believe that the "hard work white" Hillary supports are ether racist or sore losers. Hopefully its the latter, otherwise this nation deservers the crapy government it will get with McCain. As a well college educate hard working white guy I have been buying Euro's as fast as I can because I have no faith this nation will ever get its act together.

First, I don't think it was Obama's test to "seal the deal": Clinton was a mile ahead before the primaries even started. The real question is why couldn't she git r done? I think the answer is that more voters want change and see clinton's candidacy as more of the same back and forth that always seems to miss the real point.

Is the DNC a total joke? YES. Howard Dean's a freakin tool (I thought so back in 04 too). Does the system need to be changed? YES.

Obama's not stealing the election: he's WINNING it.. by getting more votes and playing the game the way it's supposed to be played.

Clinton and her supporters didn't have any problems with the system either... until she started losing..

Consider this: this system was established to protect the ESTABLISHMENT CANDIDATE and to ensure their victory. A year ago nobody who would've thought that this patently unfair system could ever produce an anti-establishment nominee. Brilliant. effed-up but brilliant

The irony is that Obama needs the old washington insiders to vote for him and give him the nomination.

You would think Obama would be opposed to politics as usual.

What the heck are you talking about? Hillary needs those supers ALOT more than Obama does. Do away with them, and he'd be more than happy, because that makes him automatically the nominee at this point. Obama is WAY ahead in pledged delegates, remember?

Hillary supporters on here are really sore losers. Since when did all of this talk lead to Obama stealing the nom? He won fairly, he did not make up the rules, he just followed them and didn't try and change them mid game. The supers are going to him too. It is their choice, and in my opinion, counts just as good as a vote. This is ridiculous. I feel for you that your candidate lost, i really do. However, it is time to let it go and go back to democrat values. If you don't want to vote Barack, that's fine. But, please, reconsider that some will win some will lose, but we are democrats.

My god. How many excuses are you people going to make. He is ahead in the popular vote, delegates, states won, and now ahead in the super delegates. Yes he has outspent her. One would have to say that he runs a better campaign to raise that much more money than her. That should tell you something about his support. Trying to explain the facts about Michigan and Florida to you is like trying to grow hair on my head. Not possible. Why did Hillary turn down Michigans offer? I also see that Bubba is up to his regular temper tantrums. Chews out a woman for asking a question about health care. Real professioal for an ex-president who thirsts for another term. His actions in this election have made me wish that I would not have voted for him. Especially with him telling voters in West Virginia that supporters of Obama and Obama himself consider them backwards hicks. Maybe some do, but I don't need no power hungry, ex president speaking for me. News flash, they are no different than the rest of us and anyone who says that is an idiot. That includes Bubba as well as any Obama supporters. I can stomach Hillary alot more than I can put up with him. I would be willing to vote for Hillary if she should win the election fair and square, as long as she is willing to promise that Bubba will not be within 100 miles of the White House.
Just a typical 57 year old white male who supports Obama

Mark this day...Hillary Clinton will end her quest for the democratic nomination in June. But...she will not end her quest for the presidency. She will run as a independent in November. She wants her name on the general election ballot by any means necessary. She is hedging that the "white blue color Americans" who support her now will vote for her as an independent.

HUGE NC Vote MisCount Favored Obama

by internetstar, Fri May 09, 2008 at 06:39:47 PM EST

In at least one county, ballots were counted twice for Obama.
They gave him 15,000 extra votes.

"MECKLENBURG & WAKE COUNTIES -- Vote tallies are changing in the state's two largest counties, after certain ballots were counted twice in Mecklenburg and Wake counties.

The mistake didn't change the outcome of any elections, but it is a cause for concern to election directors.

For example, when Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama declared victory Tuesday night in North Carolina's primary, he was given approximately 15,000 votes more than he should have been.

That's 1 percent of all ballots cast.

In Wake County, early and absentee ballots were counted as part of the individual voters precincts and again as a whole.

"So in essence, those voters were recorded double," said Cherie Poucher of the Wake Co. Board of Elections. It was around 37,000 votes.

Obama supporters....Clinton has won HALF of the vote, or nearly half. This is NOT an overwhelming win for Obama. There are six primaries left.

If Obama wins the nomination, and YOU REALLY want him to win the General Election, you would urge him to put Clinton on the ticket. It would guarantee a landslide victory against McCain. There is a REASON Edwards had to drop out of the race....

JFK could NOT win the South without LBJ in 1960. Moderate and Conservative Democrats will vote for McCain over Obama. Aren't any of you smart enough to realize that, or are you too caught up in hate to realize it?

Just a silly question. Why do the candidates spend all this money on
running for office when all they have to do is buy a deligate lunch.

I for one will NEVER vote again when it is strictly the deligates who
decide who is the next president.

I am not alone. In light of what happened with Gore and what is happening now; the focus being on JUST on the deligates.

GET RID OF THE ELECTRAL COLLEGE.
