WASHINGTON (CNN)
- Against the backdrop of a stunning Texas sunset, near a lake on the Bush family's 1,600-acre ranch, President Bush walked his daughter, Jenna, down the aisle to her groom, the White House said.

Jenna, 26, married Henry Hager, the son of a well-connected Virginia Republican.

"The wedding was spectacular. It was all we could have hoped for," the president said Sunday before boarding Air Force One.

"We're mighty blessed."

Wearing a white silk organza Oscar de la Renta gown, the bride stood with the groom before a beige-colored cross and altar made of Texas limestone.

It amazing me that the small town businesses did not benefit from this wedding, Hell should've just had it at the White House. Oh well God Bless Kids hope you have a wonderful future together. Best Wishes.

No Matter what one thinks of President Bush, one should always wish "Warm Sentiments" to a newly married couple.

This is "his daughters day, " don't rain on HER parade as a result of your feelings for President Bush.

    This is HER moment.

    Congratulations Jenna!

Who cares. I'd be happier if Bush/Cheney were both impeached.

Come on you guys, so be so mean. Jenna had nothing to do with the way her father ran this country. She's just starting her new life and seems to have a pretty good head on her shoulders. At least say Congrats!

    Congrats Jenna!
But what about your father`s war in Iraq? Thousand of young men and women will never go to an altar because of your father.
I do not stop to think about it when I am looking on your wedding photos.

God Bless him and his family. Because of President Bush, no terrorists have bombed our country since September 11, 2001.

Congratulations on this great day for you and your family. My heart goes out to you and your family. Happy Mothers Day.

My congratulations to Jenna. Real life might be kinder once George is back in Texas. Bush will probably secretly vote for Obama.

This is nice story for a local paper, but is this really a world news event?

How about investigating McCain's connection to Myanmar (Burma) militia?

I wish her and her husband health and happiness.

To do less would be small, no matter what I think of her father.

With thousands of our uniformed men and women dead in Iraq, with thousands of Iraqi children wounded and orphaned, yeah, this country needs this wedding to heal the world.

More evil people will be born into the world now. I'm sure the "political contributors" were invited to the wedding.

Hope y'all are enjoying the cake and wine... don't worry too much about the 4000+ men and women who were sent to die by your Daddy. As long as you are having a grand time, I guess that doesn't matter, right?

  22. STOP THE MADNESS

This is a special time for this couple that has nothing to do with our economy so please let them have a moment of happiness on their day, even president Bush should be able to enjoy this time without mean spirited people saying things to take away from his joy, you can get back to him next week how bout that? Let the man have at least a weekend of joy!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Bush on your daughter's wedding!!

  24. Montana is Obama Country

No Fly Zone... interesting...........wonder what that cost us...???

Also... I hope they remembered to say a little prayer for all 4000 + soldiers who gave their life/ Some who will never have a chance to get married or build a family.. other who are married who will never see their families again or children grow up and get married...

While Bush lives his life guilt free.......

Ask about little Gabe Allen an American Citizen and child of 6 years of age who President Bush could have rescued from being sent to Yemen... Yes.. YEMEN.. Bush could have stopped his father from taking him out of the country but did NOTHING...

Gabe is never to see his mother again.. (happy mothers day to Jen)
and Gabe is to never see his sister Hannah or his grandmother whole loved him more than all the world..

They tried to convince our government not to let Gabe be taken out of the country..
    But Bush didn't listen..
Now we all just pray Gabe is still alive.. Please pray for Gabe Allen lost in Yemen.. a terrorist country..

    RIP........ our fallen soldiers.

What a lovely young woman and family.
Lauras, graciousness will be missed in the white house.
I'm sure Cindy will be just as lovely.

We don't need a mean ugly radical as First lady.
