What an amazing campaign it has been. Who would have thought Barack Obama, a freshman senator, coming out of nowhere, would beat the Clintons (Hillary and Bill - an ex-president).

I know he gave a good speech. Didn't know he can also run a remarkable campaign.

I know the first time I heard Obama, I said to God - this is the man - he will turn this country around. I don't ask for much, but when I do ask, He usually granted my wish - and this time, it's no different. It's not the end yet, but the force is with him.

Of course, getting Obama to the White House is only half the struggle. We sure need a lot of work to rebuild this country. But Obama is best bet. As in most crisis, a leader will emerge - and this time, it's Obama. He can sense the pain around the country, speak out about it, bring the country together, and we all have together to turn this country around.

We have to break the habit of being divisive. We can't afford it. America can't afford it. America is losing ground. This is what Obama understands. This is what Hillary fails to understand and that's why she is losing. She doesn't understand the needs of the time.

By all means Hillary Clinton has the right to remain in the race. At the end of the day we look at the math and that will determine the winner. I don't know what they are going to do about Florida and Michigan. I think it is unfortunate that things turned out the way that it did. If the people of MIchigan should be upset with anybody it should be their political leaders who decided to move the election up inspite of being told of the consequence for doing so. I also think it is ridiculous for Hillary to fight so hard for those delegates when she agreed in the beginning of the primaries (when she was so confident that she would be the nominee) that those votes would not count and at that time she wasn't all that concerned about the people in Florida and Michigan being disenfranchised. But that aside. What I find to be quite amusing is that the people of the United States of America have voted and according to those votes Obama is ahead by all measures and should be the nominee but the Hillary Clinton supporters are saying Yeah all of those people vted for him but they don't count because it is not inline with what we won't. Therefore, in the democratic party we are the ones who matter not all of those folks who voted for Barack Obama. I also think it is quite interesting that throughout the primaries when the race was really tight people kept saying how there were not any major differences in the policies of the two campaines. That there is more difference between Mcain and Hillary or Obama than between HIllary and Obama. Yet the Hillary supporters are saying that they would vote for McCain. That doesn't make much sense to me. Why would you desert the democratic nominee who legitimately won the nomination to support a candidate for the US president whose stance on the most major issues of our time is a complete deviation from where we stand on the issues. Can someone explain that to me.

So!!!??? CNN needs to give us that which is news-worthy. Like: How could the one with less Washington-Insider experience out-maneuver the
masters at conducting a great campaign without resorting to low tactics?
When one is centered in goodness it resonates with those who think.
Obama 2008.

What you Obamas have to worry about is HRC running as a 3rd party candidate in the GE if she doesn't get the nomination, because she would surely get 33% of the vote and Obama would get lights out then.

Unbelievable, how HRC can't run a successful campaign and yet some people still believe she can run this country. Come on, her campaign is $20,000,000 in debt and she is still spending, spending, spending!!!
Unbelievable, how HRC tells us all how she was subjected to gunfire on her trip to Bosnia, tells us she wasn't truthful, and yet some people want a president who is deceitful and has no shame!!!
Unbelievable, how HRC tries to fool the voters into believing that she could cut the federal gas tax this summer and yet when asked to name an economist that backs her she couldn't even name one. Thank goodness the voters of North Carolina and Indiana didn't fall for that one!!!
Unbelievable, how she tries to convince the blue-collar workers that she is one of them. Come on people, she tells you what you want to hear and then does what she darn well pleases after she gets what she wants. Remember the years she was in the white house, what did she do for you? Had lavish costume parties, while Bill paid $500 haircuts and disgraced the oval office and his family. Please, I can't believe that you can fall for the same old Clinton retoric. Wake up!!!!
p.s. Her decision to go on, in spite of being $20,000,000 in debt to her campaign, made me think of Norma Desmond in "Sunset Blvd." slightly delusional. "I'm ready for my close up, Mr. DeMille."

Clinton seems all to confident about "staying" in the race until a nominee is chosen, it seems that something might be brewing behind closed doors, I hope not though... now is the time to unite the Democratic partty and beat McCain in the fall...

This just in, Hillary Clinton says that some her housekeepers she had when Bill and she were in the Governor's Mansion in Little Rock were from Puerto Rico. Guess that means she's from Puerto Rico too. Are Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa and Guam not one of your fifty states? Oops we forgot District of Colombia too. I guess they don't count, do they Hill?

Hillary should stay in the race , when she campaign's you can tell she loves america.
When Obama campaign'e he wants america too love him, he can't show love for america, because he doesn't feel it,so he keeps on making speech's.
America has a choice too make......
Obama , the preacher...or...Hillary , the precident.

"What if the only thing you knew about Thomas Jefferson was that he owned slaves?

What if, instead of the video of the I Have a Dream speech, elementary school students were taught that Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "My government is the greatest purveyor of violence in the world ..."?

What if the single piece of information you possessed about Nelson Mandela was that he co-founded a terrorist organization called Umkhonto we Sizwe (abbreviated as MK), which stands for Spear of the Nation?

With apologies to William Blake, if you believe you can see the world in a grain of sand, you better make sure it is the right grain."

If Hillary doesn't get the nomination, Obama loses in November. Amazing how clueless some people are about what will happen in November against McCain. See Kerry 2004 against Bush. Add the fact Obama doesn't have the experience, is all talk and no action, and even though this is wrong, people will vote against him simply because he is African American. Who do the Obama supporters think are voting in November? Just one half of the people who voted in the Democratic Primary? Themselves??? Clueless! I refuse to vote for Obama. This is for President of the United States of American, not Student Body President or King of the Prom. Bush screwed up so much. You can't send someone who doesn't have a clue how to fix problems except just talk about "change" as fixing them. Hillary supporters. You have three choices.

1) Write Hillary Clinton as a write in.
2) Don't vote at all
3) Vote for McCain.

I will either do 1 or 3. At least I know McCain has integrity and is an honorable person with EXPERIENCE. I don't agree with some of what he has to say, but this is supposed to be the best person for the job. Obama is the worst out of the three. Hillary is the best, McCain second. Come November if Obama is the nominee he will lose.. WATCH.

Obama is crazy to think he can go to Michigan and Florida and campaign after he had his supporters in both legislatures block the votes to allow the votes to be counted and or hold new elections. There will be huge protests marches when he comes to these two states. When I heard that today, I was insulted. Don't bother coming to either state OBAMA you are not welcome. Obama and his legislative people did their part along with Howard Dean to block the votes from being reheld and from being counted.....no one else did that...OBAMA and DEAN did that...some democracy....So why would OBAMA have the balls to show up and ask for their votes in NOVEMBER....talk about one serious idiot.

Less we not forget the purpose of voting is that all people have a say
Does our constituiton not begin with "We the People"

If Hiliary wins the Popular Vote than the majority of the people
are making a very strong statement and the Super Delegates
need to have their listening ears on...............

Realize now why McCain wins. Obama doesn't get the votes that count.

Hillary people are Blue Collar Democrats. Last time the DNC went so far liberal Reagan won 47 states.

McCain will do very well against Obama.

the real fun starts after obama gets the nomination and hillary starts campaigning for him. then all those hill shills who vowed to vote for mccain or write-in hillary or stay home will have to decide whether to follow her request and vote for obama or turn on her as a hypocrite.

that, folks, is real fun!!!

need some help deciding? think about a 9-0 mccain supreme court, one that will doubtless uphold his right to stay in iraq long enough to draft your children and their children and their children.

For a while now, I have seen blogs calling CNN, Clinton News Network, and thought... no it can't be. BUT YES, CNN has more coverage of Clinton than any other candidate.

To Clinton supporters: stop with the venom

To Obama supporters: we need to UNITE people not cause more divisiveness!

PLEASE PEOPLE LET'S FIND COMMON GROUND AND UNITE FOR THE SAKE OF OUR NATION! WE DO NOT WANT ANOTHER BUSH ELECTED!

IF you are a true Democrat you can not cast your vote for McBush!

PEACE EVERYBODY!

For the life of me, I cannot see how the American people would want a person as president that lies - and Hillary did just that "arriving under sniper fire" referring to her trip to Bosnia. With this single comment, she lost every bit of credibility in my mind.
Hillary may have served her constituents well in New York, but she is a power-hungry mogul who is in the presidential race for herself, unlike Barack Obama who is in it for the people - "America, when are you going to wake up to this!!"

Could you nasty Obama supporters tell me what is wrong with Chelsea campaigning for her Mother. Michelle Obama goes out and says all the negatives things she learned at Trinity Church and when necessary they parade their two young daughters around to try and show they're good parents. You always see and say the nastiest, mean things about the Clintons. Obama has one hell of a bunch of skeletons in his closet & I bet Michelle has more. She's just pi--ed that she was born black. And he doesn't even admit to being half white. So get a life, quit being so nasty, makes him looks as bad as you act.

So when Chelsea goes to run for president in 20 years, she can say she has 8 years of experience....make that 9 years of experience, she did campaign for mom after all. So, she should have it given to her with all this experience.

What a joke

Like mom, like daughter. Chelsea remained silent when her mother regaled us with her false account of their Bosnia trip. It is hard to admire this young woman and her lack of integrity. Anyway, how come she isn't working like most people her age, instead of taking all these freebie trips>

This 2008 election reminds me of the parable of the blind men describing an elephant by feel; each "sees" the image they want to see and have no interested in being disabused of their conclusions.

Running down the list of comments it's plain to see nothing will change in 2008 whether Senator McCain or Senator Obama is elected. Business as usual. Just like 06.

Most say they are voting for Obama because he is "different" and yet HE says he admires Reagan (also one of GWB's favorites) whose policies brought about the destruction of the S&L banking system. Just what we need in this recession/depression; a president who admires failure at a time when foreclosures, bankruptcies, and poverty are breaking Reagan records. And all you disgruntled anti Bush voters said you wanted change.

The Clinton is like an insane robber. They do not understand reason or logic. They think they can coerce you into believing and do anything they want. They are lunatics, out of touch. Out, the Clintons!

McAuliffe can claim victory all he wants but the numbers don't lie - Obama has won numerically across the board. Don't treat me like a dummy just because I don't buy into your smoke and mirror attempts at claiming victory.

Hillabeans doesn't care about money, or about people for that matter. All that matters is her self proclaimed right to be the President and she'll say anything to get it. If she manages a budget like she does a campaign the Country will be bankrupt in 1 year. Go away Hillabeans, and take your mindless horde with you.
