If BHO "happens" to be the democratic nominee and come November when I go to my precinct to vote, I'll not only be voting against BHO, but against all the men and women, pundits, the Chris Matthews', Olberman's, Russert's, (too many to name here) of the world. We will send them a message and they should know what the message is if they are so smart!

One thing for all Obama "maniac's", (including politicians and super delegates) to remember: He (Obama) will need the Clinton backer’s votes in November. All of the rhetoric and brainless chatter is not creating a lot of good will. I for one and I sure hope there are so many more like me out there, will not do so. After eight years of Bush, I can take 4 years of McCain. Clinton will be available in four years, but if Obama loses the general election this November, he definitely won’t be. So, keep it up, and we’ll talk again in four years.

I think Steve Cohen needs to be checked in in to a psychiatric facility. Comparing Hillary Clinton to a deranged actress in a movie? I don't think so. I think he must spend way too much time watching that movie...over and over.

I think that Hillary's cause is noble and that her courage and fortitude will pay off...BIGTIME!

She's the Democratic party's only hope. Can you imagine anyone with 2 years experience running this county? Preposterous!!!!!!!

Once again, the misogyny lurking behind the Obama campaign rears its ugly head! Such comments of hatred from Cohen and such condescension from Obama, who recently said women supporters of Hillary would have "bruised feelings but would come along" to his side, are slaps in the face to women all over this country. Here's a newsflash to Obama and his supporters: you can't win without women's support, especially white women over 50. And the more you insult Hillary, the more you act like just another ambitious, sexist man, the more you lose women's votes. The Democratic party is making a tragic error when it acts as if women's votes can be taken for granted but African American votes can't. Without Hillary and without women's support, Obama will lose in November. Hopefully someone will talk some sense into him or give him a pill for his hubris!

Anyone in politics knows this much:

Obama was running just for visibility and to let voters come to know him. He would then have been the VP choice for Hillary.

But Obama tried to fast track himself and got greedy and went for the gold ring.

He did not care if this hopelessly fractured the democratic party and did not care if that mean't a loss in Nov.

So blame selfish Obama.

I just read of Cohen's "Glen Close" comment re: Senator Clinton. Senator Clinton is my senator and I hold her in high regard.
His comment was ugly, mysogynistic and does indeed reflect the general attitude of Sen. Obama and his supporters toward Hillary.

This remark and so many similar ones bubbling up from the press and the Obama camp are but a few of the reasons I am seriously considering, for the first time, leaving the Democrats for Independent status. I certainly won't contribute any more money to the DNC or the DNCC.

I look forward to learning Cohen's opponent in the upcoming campaign and if he or she is at all palatable, contributing to his defeat.

Finally, I've had my fill of Democrats trashing the Clintons and the President's two terms. If Democrats felt he was a liability in office, they had plenty of opportunities to defeat his proposals, mount a challenge to his re-election and to vote to impeach and remove him from office. They didn't because either they needed his fund raising skills or his coattails too badly. Then, in 2000, they complained the VP Gore didn't use Mr. Clinton enough! What a sad collection of hypocrites and fair weather friends.

Cohen should be ashamed of his comments.

I'm a Clinton supporter and I think it will be time for Hillary to leave after the last state has been counted. But I also think the Obama supporters should give her a break. She was the first serious woman candidate and it wasn't easy. They both deserve kudos for what they did.

I am dismayed and can only shake my head at the comments I'm reading from both sides of the camp. It's plain to see that it isn't the candidates that are dividing the Democratic party, it's the supporters. The end to the primaries will bring great sadness because it's not enough we look at Iran, Israel, China, Myanmar, Darfur, and other countries and see the kind of infighting and separation that tears those countries apart. How are we any different than them if we are to call ourselves a nation that wants to lead. We're pouring humanitarian support and money into countries but have tornadoes, storms, and other disasters ripping through our own country. To state the obvious AMERICAN people are dying folks?!?! Not black, not white, not Hispanic, not Mexican - AMERICANS. Not just here but abroad in a senseless war that many of you are willing to cast your vote for someone who wants to continue it and do it out of spite and revenge. I talked to an uncle over the weekend who is a Vietnam war vet and the comparisons he placed between Iraq and Vietnam made my mouth go dry. I will fight tooth and nail, if in 14 years my son is being called up to fight a war we have no business being in. Clinton supporters - do you feel that way about your child/children?

It's no wonder we're the laughing stock and epitome of hypocrisy in the eyes of other countries. LOOK AT US ON THESE BLOGS!! I remain hopeful, even as there are those who think that hope means nothing. I am hopeful that we call can come together and take this country back and make it 'BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE'. The first line of the constitution for those that didn't know.

Hillary get out of the race, unless you have 20 million more dollars to throw in your fiery furnace because your campaign is dead.

Democratics let's take on John McCain and the Republicans (Our real Enemies)

Don't be sour Clinton supporters get behind Sen. Obama in support of a Democratic White House this fall. Don't let your antipathy/prejugdice/bigotry blind you and aide the Republicans in Bankrupting this nation.

Vote for your interests Vote Obama for President

No question Cohen's statement was out of line but to attack Obama for it is ludicrous. Hillary and friends have bashed Obama on virtually everything from intelligence to race. I have no problem having a woman in the White House but NOT this woman. She is polarizing, devisive and more than a little dishonest. The annointed one has been defeated people. She ran a lousy campaign and spent her money foolishly. If she can't manage a campaign how on earth do you expect her to run our nation.

Stop wasting your time and money. Obama will be the nominee and there is NO WAY she'll be the VP. And that IS her fault, for the way she's campaigned.

With all honestly you could have a rock running from Dem this time around and I think most of us would vote for it over McSame. For those who are so caught up in this primary that you'll hit the nuke button before you'll reason with your stubborn ideas... shame on you... ESPECIALLY if your a woman!

The true democrats will unite for change.

Hillary supporters should quit w/ the bitter pills, and think about what a vote for McCain will do for their own future. Some of these comments show what 'poor' losers sound like.

If you want to reverse Roe v. Wade al in the name of your support for a 'woman' President, proceed with your bitterness and support of McCain.

If you want your kids to go to Iraq to fight a pointless war, proceed with your bitterness and support of McCain.

Get informed. Support change and a vote to improve our current state of affairs.

OK maybe is now time for the ol' zipper check ...OK boys...one two three-check---is IT (the little guy behind the zipper) still there after a strong woman has been fighting hard for what she wants and believes this country deserves??? Geez. This is what turns me off about Obama--his crazy supporters. I have said all along, I will vote for Obama if he gets it, but things like this are making me think twice now. I am digusted with the oh so superdelegates--Obama's under the radar sexist salms and snake oil salesman pitches, Obama supporters spending more time on tearing down a woman who has spent her life in working hard for change and the Democratic party than on McCain or even on stating why we should support their candidate---you wanna talk crazy... Sexism is so accepted in this country---powerful women are so scary....again---do a zipper check guys and get past the castration fears---

Aw, come one. She's virtually asking for these kinds of attacks. Anyone with an ounce of dignity and sense of purpose, along with the best interests of the party, would be out of this race now. As distasteful as it is, it did NOT come from Obama himself.
The same comparison had already been drawn by others. It's just too obvious.

Let's stop before to far. Hillary plays the gender openly. Many of her speeches call for girl power, time for a woman to be in the white house, etc. However I wonder if she will use this.

When Obama was called a snake oil salesman and a boy, he let it go and did not let it become an issue.

Will Hillary do the same or use it as another rallying cry to get more women support.

I know many women believe that Hillary is your best shot at the presidency. But Obama came out of nowhere and I am sure the is another woman out there somewhere with the same appeal.

Very Agressive Behavior......that is the description of everything that Hillary does and says.....does this describe the temperment of most women in the United States? I say no.

Then why are so many women voting for her? It is because, the women themselves hope for equality in pay, in jobs and yes, even positions in Washington. They would vote for Imelda Marcos if she were running, and believe me, Imelda Marcos was a thief.....if the shoe fits......wear it!

Try the Meryl Streep character in the Manchurian Candidate (version with Denzel W.). Hillary reminded me of her way back last fall with her persona of lies and corruption.

Go check it out. I can't believe people can't see how unbelievably power-hungry Hillary is. Do they think she became Seantor of NY to help the people of NY? Anyone who thinks so is confused, at best.

I cannot believer the way Obama supporters were talking regarding people in West Va. and Ky on one of the comments section the other day. My Dad was a coal miner from Ky., we lived in Va.,which our county went for Hillary by the way, and after he retired from Bethlehem Steel after 35 years in the coal mines, he put sprinkling systems in coal mines in West Va. Let me see some of you young Obama supporters walk one mile in his shoes. The people in those areas are hard working, honest people who have a very good education. I think we should listen to them because they know what they are doing by supporting Hillary. People following Obama are pathetic by blindly letting him lead you to the slaughter. This may be the first time someone in my family vote Republican. At least McCain fought for his country.

And it is these comments that are part of the reason Clinton supporters will vote McCain. If the Obama supporters think they win the election without us, they are in for a big surprise.Even if Clinton asks her supporters to back Obama, I will not. Why? I don't agree with his views.

Rep. Cohen has a primary opponent by the name of Nikki Tinker. She probably supports Obama also but at least has the sensitivity to be polite. I think I will donate to her. Rep. Cohen words do matter and just because you are in a tough primary in a predominantly African American district does not require you to insult and demean Hillary Clinton to win the support of your district.

So, who is waging the negative comment campaign? An Obamantion groupie, who is this man? He can compare Clinton to an insane person because Clinton wants to be fair and let everyone have a chance to vote. My state is one of the last to vote and how dare he say my voice doesn't count. It's those comments that will put McCain in office and it will have nothing to do with Clinton.

As I have said before, the only reason that eveyone wants Hillary to drop out is because they are trying to bring out "the young voters". Not only that but because they know that when she does get the FL and MI delegates seated, she'll be ahead, and poor Mr. Obama will have to cry his eyes out while he's trying to think of how she planted him right in the ground...She can and will show everyone that she has the power and that shes the one driving the bus, and after its all over with, well, let's just say she'll know what to do on day one...VOTE HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT!!!
_____________________________________________________
And I WON'Tvote for Obama if he gets the nomination, I'll vote for John Mccain.

Obama and his supporters are dividers, not uniters, and this is just one more example of why Obama will not win in November. He and his advisors are divisive across all demographic groups.

Obama should drop out of the race now before he further divides the country, let alone the party.

Fatal Attraction was an intense/ dramatic movie when it came out. I wonder whta Michael Douglas and Glenn Close think of this analogy...
What can we compare to the two faced, flip flopping John McCain to??

Obama and his superdelegates are now maneuvring with an end run to prevent Sen Clinton from winning the nomination at the conclusion of the Democratic nomination process. This was the purpose of the superdelegate endorsements Friday, Saturday and Monday and this subversion will continue.

Obama and his superdelegates have chosen to take the Democratic Party down the path of a train wreck in November. This is entrenching votes for McCain. Obama will crash and burn in November if he swipes the nomination.

It seems as if almost everyday someone in politics says whats on their mind and soon after release an apology for their comments. Why? What happened to freedom of speech and saying what you really want. Everyone has an opinion, we shouldn't disregard it for some comments that might not go well with everyone, especially in this case, if you are a Clinton backer or an Obama backer. Cohen is on the right track by stating that Clinton should be focusing on the next step, helping the Democratic nominee be elected, rather than another white old rich republican who has no interest in anyone else's beliefs and issues. If this was flipped, Obama should be helping the Democratic nominee get elected. What the democrats need to realize is that, in the end, they need to work together. Just by looking at the two Democrats, Obama (an african american) and Clinton (a woman), shows you that the Democrats are the first engage change in our rotting government. No matter what, this election is making history, as the first african american and woman to be running for president. I wish them both luck, we need change to see progress.

Obama has taken the Black vote for granted, and I will not be moved as a Black female. I don't want a candidate patronizing me. Don't blame HC for the problems, but ask BO what will he do for the Black people who put him in power. The day will come as soon as he is in office. The answer is a resounding NOTHING.

Amazing how Obama claims he will pull everyone together, yet his supporters and mentors are hateful, racist and discriminatory. Much of Obama's support comes from people that are intimidated, afraid they will be branded as racists if they oppose the black candidate. The rest comes from miltant thinking extremists who trash good Americans and anyone else who does not join their negative agenda. He is truly not "the same old politics". Obama is something much worse.

If Rep. Cohen so respected Senator Clinton as he states above in his apology, he never should have said it in the first place. I believe he meant every word and was called on to apologize. What a disgrace that man is. This goes to show how negative and hateful the Obama campaign staff is on a daily basis. They are not stopping and are making the democratic party a joke. Hillary Clinton NEEDS to be the nominee so that Obama can go home and think about what he has done to our party. We don't want him campaigning in Florida because Hillary already won Florida. Does this mean that he will NOW count our votes from our primary of January 29th? I think not. His arrogance is showing LOUD and CLEAR and you will NOT see me at any of his stops. GO HILLARY 08!!!!!

I am so sick of this Obama's supporters, who bash, demorilize, and disrespect Hillary. And then, they turn around apologizing...after they instill their hate and disgusting comments.
No thanks, apologies not accepted!

I'm an Obama supporter....def not a nice thing to say. At this point... I think a lot of people keep trying to spare her feelings... and it's getting harder to do so. I'm not sure why Hillary is still in this race... I don't think her ego could really be that huge? Sad to see what's happening to her.

She's not even pushing the gas tax like she was last week....if it was so important... why isn't it important this week?

We can't come together with comments like these. Let's keep on shooting ourselves in the foot. This is the time to just let things play out and end graciously as they should. We should be mending fences with our fellow democrats not trashing them. If we don't we will lose in November and we will have deserved it.

I hate to admit that was a funny comment; however; it was very inappropriate and he needed to apologize to Sen. Clinton. Even though she isn't going to end up being the nominee, she still deserves the respect of the American people as well as her colleagues. That was not a smart thing to say.
