We must all unite now to beat McCain. Let's all unite behind Hillary Clinton!

LMAO   May 13th, 2008 11:00 pm ET

Great!

Keep sending her your money.

The 109 Million Dollar gal really needs to pay off her loan.

Joe White   May 13th, 2008 11:01 pm ET

She is delusional.

I am beginning to think McCain looks like a better choice than either Democrat.

Manuel TX   May 13th, 2008 11:03 pm ET

There are millions who prefer Clinton.

I'm one of them.

:)

Tony   May 13th, 2008 11:04 pm ET

This is all about money now folks!

Her campaign is $20 million in debt and she needs to pay herself back $12 million.

Very sad. Billary is willing to waste all that money to ensure they got out with a BANG and then force Obama to pay off her debt.

Typical egotistical elitists.

Jay   May 13th, 2008 11:04 pm ET

Don't think the Obama think tank is worried after seeing these results. Hillary for a wounded candidate beat him in a landslide by 39%. His people are in panic mode. Without Hillary in the general, Obama will never get close. Once again, the DNC and the Media have picked the wrong candidate prematurely. Great job Dems…lol
Can you say McGovern & Dukakis.. That's where we will be heading in November.

Luke   May 13th, 2008 11:04 pm ET

The people's choice. Hillary

Nebraska had a caucas, where obama won 2 -1 but they had a primary today and it was basically a tie. So what does that tell you about a caucas.

Ron R   May 13th, 2008 11:04 pm ET

And what about all of Obama's huge wins previously???? They dont matter???????? Made for TV process

Cry For Our Country   May 13th, 2008 11:05 pm ET

And thus, with her unending quest for personal glory, at any cost to her party and country, Hillary Clinton handed the 2008 election to John McCain.

Tim in NC   May 13th, 2008 11:05 pm ET

I guess it comes from being with Bill, she just never knows when to give up on a lost cause.

jeremy   May 13th, 2008 11:05 pm ET

Yeah! Big woop! Only 28 delegates were up for it, and she won in the white supremist capital of the US. And, to top it off, she even pandered to that audience. I don't know that I can lose more respect for her.

Rich   May 13th, 2008 11:05 pm ET

Remember folks, small states matter if they happen on the 13th day of the 5th month of a year. The ones Obama won aren't really states, especially the five he won by over 70%.

Joking aside, Hillary needs 70+% in the remaining contests, and this is her strongest chance at reaching that difficult percentage point.

Franky   May 13th, 2008 11:06 pm ET

Well, why not??? She is helping the GOP…….ooppps, sorry, I mean the Dems, LOL!!! Life is full of surprises, LOL!!!

Donald from SC   May 13th, 2008 11:06 pm ET

CNN you are very low. Reporting this nonsense as thou it is an example of the rest of the 49 states. I am totally shocked that in 2008 people still cling to racism because of ignorance the way the folks in West Virginia are. Worst is the fact that Hillary Clinton is using the fear and misunderstanding of the WV folks against themselves. Is there no low that this creator who dare call herself human would not go? The saddest part is that she has so many supporters that ignore all the bad things she has done; and justify them by blaming the other candidate. Hillary is a horrible planner. Hillary is a panderer who has said everything and been everything to everyone. There are reasons that Senator Obama and Senator McCain haven't said everything like Hillary. That is because the more yo0u say is the more you promise. Any smart person would realize that if you promise everything, you will disappoint everyone when you fail. The President can not, can not, do everything by himself. Therefore, if a Presidential candidate promises more than he can keep, he will fail due to the nature of congress.

If Hillary were to become President, she would fail most of her promises; and her excuse (which she loves to make) would be: oh, I could not do it because congress would not agree with me. Hillary has been very divisive throughout this whole campaign season. How can she bring congress together after she has shown that she would do anything to get her way? Don't you think that congress will stop her every move? Go ahead and vote for her because really cares about you people. What happened to her gas tax holiday? What happened to her duck hunting days? What happened to her drinking days? What happened to her great experience days? What happened to her foreign policy days? What happened to her, "I am from Arkansas, or I am from Pennsylvania, or I am from Illinois, or I am from Indiana, or I am from Ohio, or I am from New York?"

See so many people want her to be it sooo bad that they are ignorant to the many faces she has presented. The main problem with Hillary is she has zero integrity. She agrees and sign documents for every step that all the candidates have made during this election cycle. Yet, when thing don't go her way - she changes the rules. Is this the person we really want in the Whitehouse?

Little has the news media shown the effects of her nuke Iran statement. The world, as a whole, now fears her. No President or candidate has made such a global threat for the last 50 years. Do you think that would be able to talk to any other nation without them keeping that thought in the back of their minds? Well it all doesn't matter anyway, because you just want to feel secure and safe that our President is willing to blow up half the world with nuclear bombs. I hope you feel nice and warm when the fall-out occurs.

Go Hillary, balance our economy. Oh yeah I forgot, you don't know how to balance your own campaign. But it doesn't matter, you call always borrow money from the Chinese like the Republicans do.

You people don't give a single crap about your own children. Why don't we all just enjoy ourselves today? Our children can pay that bill later when we are retired. Oh wait, who is going to pay for our retirement then?

Idiots!

Heidi in Houston   May 13th, 2008 11:06 pm ET

Terry McAuliffe said prior to her acceptance speech tonight that Hillary would deliver the best speech ever in history tonight - something Churchill would envy. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed. The third line of her speech was begging for more people to visit her website to donate. Then she BRAGGED about an 11 year-old boy who sold his bike and video games so he could contribute to the campaign of a woman who had $109M in her personal coffers. She's supposed to be kissing babies - not taking candy from them! Finally, she used this opportunity to push the goal posts once again, stating that there would be no nominee until someone reached 2209 delegates - not the 2025 delegates they've been going for. I love how the Clinton campaign just changes the rules.

Thanks again, WV for contributing to the delinquency of liars and cheats. You've made this great nation proud!

Kiki b to auntie K   May 13th, 2008 11:06 pm ET

it's wonderful that she has won wv but the reality of it all is she can't win the nomination. i just wish that she'd drop out. and to her supporters who supports even the inkling of the idea that Obama had an affair why don't you google that also take the time to google Alice Palmer who gave her spot to Obama. he did not have an affair so stop trying to dirty up his name. he is a good man a good candiate and would make a dang good president. stop hating on this wonderful man sent to us by God and at least take the time to give him a chance. he deserves that much.

BobW   May 13th, 2008 11:06 pm ET

Tonight's speech by Hillary clearly demonstrates that she she has moved beyond politics and into pathology. Hillaryland has now officially become La-la-land. In effect she and her surrogates have acknowledged their clear intent to appeal to the super delegates to steal the election. I only hope the super delegates understand the consequences of such an action.

David in KC   May 13th, 2008 11:06 pm ET

West Virginia is a "Big Win?" Laughable.

Laura Young   May 13th, 2008 11:07 pm ET

Congratulations, Senator Clinton. You won a key state that every President has needed to carry to win the Presidency since 1912. And you won BIG!!!!

Amanda   May 13th, 2008 11:07 pm ET

Its just West Virginia for God's sake!! This one state of highly uneducated white people do not vote for me. I choose the smart candidate that will not lie or pander to me. Go Obama!!

Anonymous   May 13th, 2008 11:07 pm ET

Obama should consider being President Hillary's running mate while he's got the chance. Oh yeah..he should humble himself when he asks for the job and maybe bring her an apple as a gift. :-)

Observer   May 13th, 2008 11:07 pm ET

Ummmmm…I'm sorry Hillary, but West Virginia is not going to determine the winner in the November election. Obama will also be more competitive in Colorado, New Mexico, Missouri, and also in several states in the Deep South. Besides that, look at how many states Obama has won over you, Hillary. The party will gather around Obama, and he will prevail in November.
Stop tearing the party apart and step aside in order to let Obama focus on McCain and the November election.

david   May 13th, 2008 11:07 pm ET

Eric -PA , Why would we unite behind Hillary? She has fewer votes, fewer pledged delegates, fewer superdelegates? So - why?

Why do you wish for the subversion of democracy? Because it suits you is not a good enough reason. It's a shame your candidate doesn't realize this.

And by the way - Terry McAuliffe, would you please stop lying! Stop saying that Clinton and Obama are only separated by 100,000 votes. You have to include MI in the equation, and even you know in that little pea of a brain that you have that it's BS.

Obama for President   May 13th, 2008 11:07 pm ET

An expected victory for Hellary.
Her contribution to this race is to divide the party.

Mack   May 13th, 2008 11:07 pm ET

Push on Hillary, you can still win the popular vote with FL and MI. The superdelegates need to take a second look.

Obama 08:white, female and 60   May 13th, 2008 11:08 pm ET

The Obama camp is not in panic mode. He has a healthy campaign chest and Hillary has to first of all take in at least $20 Million to start building one again.

He has boosted his lead over her national polls, has increased his lead over John McCain and the nonsense about Rev Wright had no effect on the win in Mississippi…going Democratic for the first time in 16 years.

Hillary Fan!   May 13th, 2008 11:08 pm ET

I hope you just realize how pathetic Bill Schneider was with his opinion and commentary these last two days. He is dilusional and on the Clinton Payroll…..what's left of it that is…

I guess that's how you get ratings………..and I thought Fox was cheap!

sjp   May 13th, 2008 11:09 pm ET

same song different verse. wasn't it just a few weeks ago hillary and her camp were touting the big pennsylvania win only to lose it all back and more the following set of primaries. now its west virginia and a big win of 10-12 delegates with another split coming next week probably favoring obama. lets all be adults here and look at the facts. obama will be leading in delegates by 150+, popular vote by 1/2 a million or more, superdelegates and contests won. yes a great win for hillary tonite, but one that changes absolutely nothing in the big picture. it is over and obama has won the nomination by the rules.

Carolina Girl   May 13th, 2008 11:09 pm ET

Absolutely Hillary has a better chance of beating Obama…. in fact she ALREADY DID, if you count her votes in FLA and MICH — which were
votes FOR HER.

The fact that Obama didn't get any votes in MICH is because he CHOSE
not to have his name on the ballot. Imagine…. running for Pres. and
choosing NOT to have your name on the ballot!!!!!
Where was his mind?
Where was his foresight?
Where was his PLAN B - "just in case!"

We don't need another President who doesn't consider ALL ANGLES!

Kerry Chapman, CPO USN ret.   May 13th, 2008 11:09 pm ET

Mr Martin: Primaries dont lie. Obama racks in Black votes. Hillary racks in white votes. Dont you get it. It is a Black and White thing.
What part dont you get? The Democratic Parties primaries has
given me, a DEMOCRATIC from the center a bad taste. I don't
like it and I shall VOTE: Republican for one reason: the Democratic
Party has allowed this to be a BLACK/WHITE issues and the super
delagates whoever they might be are not the Vote of the American
people. The DEMOCRATIC Party needs a new sense of leadership to
iron out its primaries. They have created a system thats so complex
makes the IRS look real good. Why would anyone who says two states dont count is beyond me. They voted didn't they. Right to vote and for your vote to count is what I was raised to believe. Brothers in arms have died for this country to achieve that. NOW the Democratic Party has torn that away. NO MORE. VOTE INDEPENDENT/VOTE REPUBLICAN….. simple as that.

Addie Staten Island New York   May 13th, 2008 11:09 pm ET

Ron R   May 13th, 2008 11:11 pm ET

Let's see now. the number of delegates needed to win the nomination has changed!!! How convenient!!! This is unbelievable to me. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!

Bill   May 13th, 2008 11:11 pm ET

This may be a good thing for the whole nation. If the Democrat party split, maybe we could get to legit parties out of it and end up with a 3 party system. I really hate this 2 party system, but you really have no choice but to vote Republican or Democrat. But anyways, my vote was going to McCain long before the primaries even started, now I'm just more confindent about my decision.

Mr. Banks   May 13th, 2008 11:11 pm ET

Clinton will be the reason for the Dems loss in the general election. She has burned up so much time with her lies and selfishness that many people who were excited about this election are now annoyed. She is not fit to be president and this may cause her to lose her Senate seat in the next election. She has shown herself to be unbelievable and not credible. I loved Bill and his presidency but Hillary is being ridiculous.

Debby   May 13th, 2008 11:12 pm ET

Congrats to her wow she really creamed him in this state. Whats up with Donna Brazile she is scoulding Michigan/Florida voters how undemocratic. She herself said she would leave the Dem. party if the superdelagates decided the nominee. This might happen before May 31st before Michigan and Florida are resolved so she should just keep her mouth shut because she like Howard Dean will split this party apart.

Hank in PA   May 13th, 2008 11:12 pm ET

Sorry all you Obamabots live in sour grapesville tonight, but your candidate lost by an almot impossible percentage for the presumptive nominee.

No one seems to know why Obama, a junior senator with so little experience, is running for President, other than to effect some form of "change" which has not been detailed enough to tell if it is for the better or the worse.

Obama is a disaster. He is winning because of SEXISM and media bias, and the internet. It is very tres chic to support Obama, but to what end??? No one seems to have a friggin clue.

Let play like she will win the nomination :) I guess she will not need any of the black, hispanic or educated white vote.

She should be right at home in WV.

It amazes me how she can look these people straight in the eye and lie about being able to get the nomination does she have no shame ?
:(

The poor Hillary people either actually believe her or are in just plain denial.

Sad that as representative of the peolple she would string her followers along like this

Stacey   May 13th, 2008 11:12 pm ET

First of all lets get down to real history, HIllary will not be the first female president. Edith Bolling Wilson filled that spot in 1921. Sorry Hillary, try being first lady someplace else.

PRIMARIES dont lie. The Democratic Party and its complex way of conducting them has made the IRS look good. It now has become
a white/black thing. And ! because you vote dont expect it to count.
Florida/Michigan has shown us that. The Right to Vote ? The Right
to have your VOTE count? RIGHT !

justobserve   May 13th, 2008 11:14 pm ET

Obama and superdelegates are panic? They all knew this beforehand. No surprise there! If she is stronger and better to win then how comes she is still struggling to use these states to argue her case? Not too long ago, she said big states are what count. It's too late now to reverse the number, that is why she lost! It's pathetic seeing her talk as if the win in WV is game changing. Maybe in her and her supporters' dream. She talked about Obama can't win white voters but since Johnson, no one won white voters for Dem so he is not unlike the others. That shows she is a good spinmaster and good actor. The train has left the station, luckily there are some people left behind to console Clinton or she would be in deep depression.

Heriberto   May 13th, 2008 11:15 pm ET

Clinton is entitled to continue the race. And I'll agree that even those with racist views in Pennsylvania, WVirginia, and Kentucky are part of the country and should have their voices heard. Thank goodnes that they are in the minority and will eventually lose out.

David,

She will have the popular vote by the end of the season even without MI and FL. The superdelegates and even most pledged delegates can switch sides. Also, there are over 100 superdelegates yet to make a decision. Obama may have won more states but about half of those states will never go Democratic!

Why does HRC with all her legacy have to cheat to beat Obama?

Carolina Girl, wants to factor in MI and FL without giving any delegates or votes at all to Barack Obama, even in WV she didn't win 100% of the votes.

What do you think all the people who vote for Obama will do if she cheats and stills the nomination from him…

Don,

I am totally shocked that in 2008 people still cling to racism because of ignorance the way the folks in West Virginia are

How did Obamas black vote in SC go? What was it like 9-1? What this shows is that racist rednecks and clan members ( according to Obama supporters) still have a way to go before they reach the level of black voters.

92% of African americans are voting for Obama.
67% Of clan members vote for The white lady.
You do the math.

I'm from Chicago and this race reminds me a lot of how divided the city is between Sox fans and Cubs fans. Not only do they cheer for their team; they cheer for the other team to lose. As someone who is just a plain Chicago fan, I'm pleased when either team is doing well and disappointed when either is doing badly. Perhaps when the election is over we can all concentrate on just one thing — the Democratic Party — like we do in Chicago when it comes to football season.

Obama Supporter   May 13th, 2008 11:17 pm ET

She will never sell the super delegates, but seems to be selling her supporters just fine. Keep the donations coming she doesn't want to loose her own money before dropping out.

Don't forget! She is counting on the uneducated, white, racist biggots to carry her through and pay her back. If she quites now, she looses all of her money.

I am a white, 56 year old male living in conservative Arizona,

Go Obama! Change we will know!

I quess Clinton winning the redneck, hillbilly, capital of the U.S. should inspire confidence for her campaign. It reminds me of her Republican, independent, fence sitting , moral base, and the Goldwater supporting debutante Hilliary of yore. Ya'll can have her!

harvey   May 13th, 2008 11:17 pm ET

I love how the media keeps bringing up that the Democrats haven't won an election without winning WV, as if this result means something - ummm, when was the last time there was a black man running for president? The media skirts around the fact that the WV results are basically down to racism (and even in WV it's probably still not PC to say that, so ignore the exit polls), using euphemisms like "insular" and "conservative".

This is part of the sneaky deceptive smoke screen agenda. Why is Obama not saying the same for southern states…..because he is a decent and inteligent man.

If she has the intrest of the party at heart and campaigns for the nominee, Obama can win those states in Nov.

Push on Hillary. Right back to the Senate and put your mouthed promises into actions. Maybe you will have a chance to run in 2016 if Obama's VP is an idoit. That will be plenty of time to put together a REAL record to run on. Also you will have time to brush up on your math skills. I am tired of having morning sickness waking up to your face in the news.

Why all the big deal about Hillary winning in W. VA. by 60+ %? Obama has beaten her 60%-68% in 13 states and 70%-79% in 5 states. In Idaho he beat her 79% to her 17%!!!!!!

DC from NJ   May 13th, 2008 11:19 pm ET

Hillary campaigned hard for the white vote in the white state and she won big. Kind of like the shellacking he gave her in the Chesapeake states. The race is still about delegates. After watching Howard Wolfson's interview, I take it they are going to try to steal the nomination.

John   May 13th, 2008 11:20 pm ET

To those redneck from Pensilvania and West Virginia, you have shown your true color. Bigotry is a disease; if you can read this message, I hope you go see a shrink. Since both Hillary and Obama want almost the same thing, who do you think is more honest? Now who did you vote for will say alot about you.

Heidi in Houston   May 13th, 2008 11:20 pm ET

Donald in SC…great post. Hillary Clinton is one scam after another. That's all she's known for her entire life. She's learned it from the master - her husband.

IF Obama puts her on the ticket, Bill Clinton, because of his arrogance, will ingratiate himself into helping his wife in her VP role and between the two of them, they'll undermine everything Obama does, or will at the very least, take credit for it all. The Clintons have no integrity. I don't trust them and I wish the Americans that vote for these two charlatans would see them for what they are. I don't even think they can tell anymore when they are being dishonest. It's second nature to them to lie - maybe it's 'first nature'.

Hard to tell, but if all those supporters say "I'll vote McCain if Hillary doesn't get the nomination", well I hope that's the choice you're left with. At least the family of liars and cheats will NOT reenter the White House. No sense in giving those people another shot at stealing the White House china and furniture.

GraceJeanJones   May 13th, 2008 11:20 pm ET

Electoral College Votes From States Already Won:

Senator Clinton: 300
Senator Obama: 217

And….Senator Obama's wins include Wyoming, Utah, North Dakota, Idaho, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina, Kansas, Nebraska, etc…..all states that I'm sure will be the brightest of BLUE come November. ;-)

It's no wonder Senator Obama and his supporters want Senator Clinton to drop out now!!!!

GO HILLARY!!!!

Craig A Texas Democrat   May 13th, 2008 11:20 pm ET

Dont worry Obama Supporters, Hillary Clintons supporters are such Fanatics they believe and will follow her always. After she get that 20 mil to pay off her debt and another 11.4 mil to pay off that loan from her followers she will bow out and tell her supporters to unite behind the Obama who played by the rules winning more states, delegates, superdelagates and popular vote…… you know the rules our party set to nominate a candidate. Stop moving the goal post stop lying about screw West virgina Obama won Virgina. She got wut 18 delgates tonight and these media clows saying thjis is crucial. Oh shut up. Dems Unite.

Obama won   May 13th, 2008 11:21 pm ET

I'm waiting for the BUYER'S REMORSE to set in for the remaining Clinton supporters.

Jaybrown   May 13th, 2008 11:21 pm ET

I think she should push forward so long as she doesn't try to damage the party. Listening to her victory speech, I couldn't help but notice that she is EXPECTING to count Michigan and Florida despite signing off along with everyone else that it wasn't going to count back in October. Seems like a big flip flop because she's behind. I'm sure if she was in the lead and it was going to help Obama, she wouldn't be making the argument. She even raised the number of delegates needed to win. I know it's messed up that all those people went out to vote and they are not going to count but it was the local government who failed them. 48 states played by the rules. She doesn't care if Obama gets 2025 first. She will not acknowledge it. She is going to try to make it look like it's his fault or that people shouldn't consider him the winner if it's not counted and she's going to poison the party.

Kerry Chapman, CPO USN ret.   May 13th, 2008 11:21 pm ET

This just in OBAMA for President/Lou Dobbs for Vice President….that would a be a dream ticket …..

Brandon   May 13th, 2008 11:22 pm ET

wait a sec, Clinton campaing manager told us there were a million votes in WVa. Only 250,000 voted.

Obama is still ahead more than 900,000 in the popular vote,
still 150+ delegates up on here.
Now almost more than 10 super delegates

even if you count michigan and florida, she has only caught up by 300,000 in popular votes.

What i am worried about is all this "spin" that the clinton campaign is pulling. And to see where the "hope" is coming from in that campaign.

I certainly hope that she is not keeping this race alive to dupe supporters to help pay off her campaign debt.

Stefan Wright   May 13th, 2008 11:22 pm ET

I think this battle of the twits is the best thing that has happened to the DNC in 50 years. It exposes the duplicity, hypocrisy, and fractious special interests that band together to defeat America. We have terrorism because Carter tried to reason with radicals back in the 70's. Today we have a party chock full of lawyers trying their level best to rape the voters out of every dime they can steal. Now in all fairness the RNC is no better than the DNC. I pry that we will one day break the socialist cancer that has taken over the federal budget. Until that day I will support and vote Libertarian.

DJ, Los Angeles   May 13th, 2008 11:22 pm ET

9 delegate victory?

NOT a good case study for Clinton to try to claim she has a better chance of beating the Republicans in the general election.

"I'm winning Catholic voters and Hispanic voters and blue-collar workers and seniors, the kind of people that Sen. McCain will be fighting for in the general election," Clinton said earlier.

So what about the rest of America? It's all about dividing the people with her. I'm surprised she didn't throw-in dialogue about how she owns the white vote (except for college grads and young people of course).

Joseph Luguya   May 13th, 2008 11:22 pm ET

These primaries have taught me something I did not know before , namely the extent to which humans can make complete fools of themselves! But I am not the only one learning something new. Our children are learning that it is quite fine for one to be so carried away by one's ambition, that one can tell the rest of the world to go to hell with a straight face - more or less like Dick Cheyney and George W. Bush did over the space of eight years, I might add, with our full consent. Perhaps something did indeed rub off…

tom   May 13th, 2008 11:23 pm ET

Barry beats Hillary by 23,000 votes in North carolina and thats a land side decider. Hillary beats barry by over 200000 votes and were told Pa isn't as signifacant as NC. What a joke. Pledged Delegates are as phony as Barry. Hilary has the popular vote.

Debby   May 13th, 2008 11:23 pm ET

J.H. but Obama won those states before Rev. Wright controversy. He is losing white voters and that is a fact since this came out.

Pete in PA   May 13th, 2008 11:23 pm ET

How is it that Hillary is so great for the feminist cause. She is only where she is because of her husband's power, not her own. Take him out of the equation and she is managing a consulting firm somewhere…

It's 1950 all over again… not to mention she is running a campaign on credit cards at a time when we need to cut away from running our lives that way. Two terrible ideas that she is pushing.

If she wins the nomination, McCain will be the first republican I have ever voted for in my life, in any race, in any office. We don't need a slash and burn, lier and divider that Hillary would be.

Danny   May 13th, 2008 11:23 pm ET

Now Hillary win more than 30% so can anybody call Obama to drop out?
because after Obama won by 14% most of the MEDIA and top Sen. or Rep. call her to drop out, so what's about that it fair or not?

Alan in Fla., don't count my vote   May 13th, 2008 11:24 pm ET

In the last month Hillary has won 6 of 8 primaries, Texas, Ohio, Rhode Island, Penn., Indiana and now West Virginia. Obama has Miss. and North Carolina. He also won one of those caucuses, but Texas and now tonight in Nebraska where Hillary won a non-binding primary vote shows how they don't accurately reflect the true vote.

Uwe   May 13th, 2008 11:24 pm ET

You are proud that a young boy sells his game boy and donates the money … to support a self-absorbed compaign to save your face? This is pitiful.

Brian   May 13th, 2008 11:24 pm ET

"Do the math"???? Math sucks!!!! ! I'm voting for Hillary 2008! ;-)

Steve   May 13th, 2008 11:24 pm ET

Think about this: WV has almost 2 million people…only 650,000 are registered Democrats, yet only about 300,000 people appear to have voted in the Democratic primary. Somehow, I don't think *any* democrat is going to win this state in November.

Clearly, the problem is too deep for either side to overcome. Clinton won't win in November, either, now. And she's done enough that Obama probably won't. I doubt that the DNC will be happy to see her try again in 2012, if there's enough of the country left after four more years under Republicans.

Maybe it's time to move to Canada.

Hillary will be President   May 13th, 2008 11:24 pm ET

In West Virginia, Hillary took more votes than McCain and Obama combined. That's quite the perspective.

Obama NEVER!

HILLARY, FOREVER!!!

Ex-Hillary supporter   May 13th, 2008 11:24 pm ET

Her lust for power is ugly. Her campaign has been an exercise in mismanagement, now millions of dollars in debt, yet still expecting handouts from gullible voters. She is a lousy investment. Perhaps she should try living like most of us and accept sole responsibility for the mess she is in and quit begging.

Obama won   May 13th, 2008 11:25 pm ET

I bet you Hilary's feel really good about this one. NEWS FLASH!!! WV is behind in the times, just like your candidate.

Clinton Feed-Bag Empty   May 13th, 2008 11:25 pm ET

How is her continued net loss of delegates today a 'big win,' when she was supposed to win 20-80? She's 'pushing on' because she's a 'fighter' because she needs to write down debt. 'Winning' Kentucky next week will give her another cash boost and she'll have to coast on fumes to when the DNC give her a 55- 45 split on MI delegates and a 50-50 split in FL (the only ethical thing to do). Obama will be over in delegates with supers at that point who know their destiny is tied to him. Hillary will talk long and hard about her historic run and love of party and country, taking Bill's and Congress's healthcare, pension and secret service protection, and get her signing bonus for her book deal and speaking tour, making 10 times what these poor suckers will donate now to get her out of hock. She'll soon be a millionaire again.

Kerry Chapman, CPO USN ret.   May 13th, 2008 11:26 pm ET

This thing about the ELECTORAL college needs be looked into. I think that these states that OBAMA hasn't won in is gonna bite the
Democratic Party this fall.

igorD   May 13th, 2008 11:26 pm ET

In her speech in W.V, Hilary said "coming from behind in Indiana". Another mistatement?
