I did not like your politics this year, but this has shown me you are a reasonable man. We will come together and win big in November with everybody playing a critical role in the campaign and in the administration.

I am a european white female and like me in France many people think that a large amount of Hillary supporters are uneducated. So it is easy for her to manipulate them I think that it is time for her to drop out of this race and start helping to unify her party. Hillary's supporters who are claiming they will vote for McCain if she is not the nominee are just helping Republicans to keep things just as they are now, as well the economy, foreign politics, non justified invasion of other countries.... spending billions of dollars in war instead of investing in their own country for education, health care.... SO STOP FIGHTING WITH THE WIND AN SUPPORT BARACK OBAMA I AM SURE THAT HE WILL BE A GREAT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

It's truly unfortunate that Hillary has pushed things as far as she has. She is the poster girl of the "sore loser". She tries to equate running in a state with no one fighting her or running against her as proving that she is the one to beat John McCain. She simply, in her greed for power, has become logically dysfuntional. Does she really believe that she can mislead intelligent people? Not to mention the party hacks and superdelagates?
She doesn't have dogged determination, nor is she a fighter, or even a good campaigner. She is a pushy woman who has learned how to use political power to bull her way to victory on the emotions of millions of women and hard working people that deserve to enable the recapture of the American governmental process, not battle cry their way into a office that she will be the only one to benefit from.
She is the "stereotype" of the politician that we would like to remove from Washington.

When the guards came to arrest Jesus ( after he was betrayed by Judas ), Peter had armed himself with a sword and he dragged it out and cut the ear off of one of the guards.
Jesus rebuked him saying,'Peter, this is not a war of fresh and blood,it is a Spiritual Warfare'
He (Jesus) then picked up the ear from the ground and placed it back on the guard and healed him!
  Over to you Carvillle!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hillary has every right to carry on past the Primaries, onto the floor of the convention. Barack should have this primary season sewn up in another week or two. 150 delegates to go and this race is over. Let's take a look and see what this G.E. is going to mean. At least two Supreme Court Justices will be stepping down, Hundreds of federal courts need judges on the benches, We have a two front war, War drums can be heard in the distance for Iran, a brilliant Gas Tax Relief bill to further loot the treasury and cost a few thousand jobs and our infastructure, tax cuts to the corporations that move US jobs overseas, continued tax cuts for big business and the top 4%, a further extention on the suspension of the Bill of Rights, anmesty for the corporations that give your personal information to the government in the name of security, continued hype about the largest government beaurocracy, apparently designed to make you buy lighters (The TSA) trillions of dollars in debt, a continued tarnished image in the world community, and a continuing recession. Go Ahead, vote McSame.

Dems:
       Please be aware that some of the negative comments you read on these blogs are actually Rep trying to divide us. The bottom line is whether you support Obama or Clinton you must support the DEM's nominee in the fall. We can allow MCBUSH to win because if we do then we all lose. So if you support Clinton and it looks like Obama wil be the nominee please please please vote for him. This election is to important to let emotions ruin a chance for the DEMS to take back this country and put it on the right track. WHO'S WITH ME

Barack may indeed beat Hillary and get the Democratic nomination, BUT he can't and wont beat John McMain. Barack needs Hillary for those voters. White blue collar workers, older/retired, women that flock to Hillary may split and go McMain. Believe it or not, Barack and Hillary need each other to win. If he doesnt pick her as VP then there is a very good chance of a Dark day in November. Unite the party by pressuring a joint ticket. That's a win win ticket. A ticket that appeals to all of America and all demographics. Barack CAN NOT beat McCain himself, PERIOD! Mark my words, If you dont want another 4 years of Bush policies, pressure a joint ticket Barack/Hillary '08. Thats is a winning ticket. Everyone knows that. The only problem will be to get them both to agree to it.

JBY and the rest of OBAMA supporters.

You do not get it yes we still believe that Hillary is a better candidate and will be a better president. You want to play by the rules the reality is that neither candidate will have the needed pledge delegates and the Super delegates the elite of the party will have to decide so as nobody I say it again nobody won the necessary delegates in popular election everything goes that is the reality. And we Hillary's supporters still think that she is a better candidate and will be a better president.

Also you Obama's supporters have been nasty and accused us of so many things playing the same game Obama has played being dishonest and pretending to be a different kind of politician who he is really not and everybody knows that so he is not different from Hillary he is just a politician so all this rethoric about change we know is BS and I will not go to the same level of frustration you guys will go if he is the nominee and elected president.

WE HIllary's supporters do not believe in Obama, did you get it now!!!!

Did I read that correctly. Mr. Carville, who has been anti-Obama this whole primary season is willing to write him a check.

Please make it payable to: Obama for America just as all my previous donations were made out to. (also send a little Hillary's way. She is reporting $20m in debt which probably equates to $40m)

Thank you...you are welcome here at Obama Central; but know that we have tolerated as much of that mouth as we're willing to take. Mr. Carville come with your mind set on UNITING THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

It's clear that the Hillary campaign for president might not clinch the nomination yet I notice that the Obama supporters continue deriding the Clintons with hateful comments and I do not believe these actions, nor gloating over victory, will help unite the Democrats in fact I for one like many of my friends and family will not vote for Obama (RACE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT). There will be no honeymoon and Hillary should not be blame for it, she is doing the right thing for her supporters and what her supporters want. There is a process and she needs to see it thru.

How come people keep saying Obama is black. He was born to a White MOTHER and raised by white GRANDPARENTS(that makes him as white as any white) He has odd name etc(your parents name you, just becuase its not convinient you dont change it. If he had changed name people will anyhow put him down saying he is not sure of himself etc.

Please send this message to people who think he is black, and a reason to not to vote. He is as american as we all are.Do you want a better country or a black/white/brown etc.

I agree with Greg from NY. Sebelius, in my opinion, would be the ideal running mate for Barack. To my knowledge, Hillary has succeeded in drawing more female democratic and independent voters from the woodworks than have been seen in previous years. I believe Sebelius would be able to counter much of the stigma attached to Obama throughout this campaign (whether justified or not) amongst, in Hillary's campaign's words, the "white/female voters."

I'm sad that it's come to a likely minimal role in government for Hillary. She has a strong character and the ability to drum up support from various bases. I didn't support her for the Democratic nomination for President but I *did* think she would have made a good choice for majority leader. I'm not sure I believe that anymore...

The best part of this news is that Carville, one of Hillary's staunchest supporters, is showing a willingness to support the Democratic nominee. Let's hope Hillary and Bill do the same if Barack gets the nod.

I am Hillary follower, but I have to face the truth, I think we are wasting time, money and dividing the party, One my big questions is How come she doesn't have any campaing funds? and Obama does, Does that mean that the supporter are not "supporting"? Is this a clue of what is going on? Who is going to repay her the money that she's lent to campaing? please advise, this is my first time voting(i am just 19 years old) thanks. Iam U.

Carville has frequently said that if Obama was the nominee, he would support him wholeheartedly. Why? Because Carville is a Democrat. Because Obama and Clinton essentially hold the same views on the issues. Because Carville realizes that Clinton and Obama are both great candidates for the Democratic party.

My question is: why would Clinton supporters deliberately not vote or vote Republican in November just because Obama is the nominee? This is your future, your children's future, that you are playing around with. To vote against Obama out of spite is not good for you, your family, or the country. It's childish and irresponsible.

No Clinton supporter can logically deny that Obama's stand on the issues parallels their own. Look at the issues, be informed, and vote your conscience.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HILLARY SUPPORTERS...

We understand you love your candidate. We love our candidate too, but have you noticed that Obama supporters are level headed for the most part and that a majority of us would vote for Hillary just to make sure the presidency is not occupied by another republican? Are you so ignorant that you cannot see that to vote McCain just because your candidate lost is the height of idiocy and the act of a child? Suck it up and don't destroy America just because your candidate lost. At least Carville, who is a die-hard Hillary supporter, has enough brains to see that. For christ's sake, do the right thing. Hillary can run again, but if the republicans get to stay in the White House, we are doomed. Please stop being ignorant.

I have admired James Carville over the years because of the way he has supported the Clintons who I have supported over the years. He has been been a very good task master for Senator Clinton. I do trust he will do the same for Senator Obama as he has stated.

As the title of his book "Had Enough?" suggest, as DEMOCRATES we must all push forward to defeat Senator John Mc Cain.

Lastly, Senator Obama and Seantor Clintor would make a nice political marriage as PRESIDENT & VICE PRESIDENT

Please tell me how many times as an Obama supporter I had to hear about being a mindless zombie, drinking kool-aid, obsessed or any other negative, divisive comment. AND THEN DARE TO POINT A FINGER at Obama supporters. Just as many Clinton supporters have been negative.

IN FACT:
I love Bill Clinton, I was 16 when he took office but I voted for him when he ran for reelection, when this all started and Hillary announced she was running, I WAS a Clinton supporter, plus thought it would be awesome for Bill to be back in the White House as the first man.

Then I heard Barack speak and was like wow we have two really interesting candidates. I continued to support HRC, however I Was listening and liking what I was hearing from Mr. Obama as well.

And then IT started getting negative. Not from Obama's campaign, But Hillary's... She became so desperate to win this and be back in the White House, that she completely turned me off to what she was saying, it was no longer about the United States, about my child's future, it was about HER winning.

I voted today. I voted for Barack Obama. He will be our nomination, and I will support him. If it had been hillary, I would have supported her as I am a democrat and they both represent my beliefs however, had she accepted Barack's challenge to not do politics as usual. SHE COULD HAVE WON THIS.

With someone like Carville for a friend Hillary doesn't need enemies!
I have no respect for Turn Coats regardless of whose side they are on.

I predict if Hillary doesn't win the nomination John McCain will be the next President. Obama WILL NOT win over John McCain. If you think the scandals and dirty politics have been over the top up to now, it is nothing compared to what will be if Obama is the Nominee. Republicans made dirty politics a household name.

And as far as Hillary dropping out of the Campaign - I think it's the reverse - Obama should drop out of the Campaign for the good of the Nation. He doesn't have the political experience, foreign experience, qualifications or capability to govern America. America doesn't need a President in Training given these turbulent, violent, challenging times. But I fear it's too late. The Majority of Americans and the Media are placing Charisma, intriging speeches, and mantras ahead of the pertinent credentials required for President.

Jill:

So now it wouldn't be enough that there is a woman on Obama's ticket; it has to be this woman? Regardless of how much electoral sense another woman makes? It wouldn't be enough to have an African American and a woman running for the most powerful office in the world, setting up potentially 16 years of rule by people from historically underreprestented groups? It just HAS to be your Hillary?

And they call Obama supporters zealots.

Maybe Hillary is doing the famous "Huckamath". She needs to step down for sure. As for all of you that want to vote for McCain WHEN Obama is the nominee, go ahead and do it and see what happens. You won't be laughing when we'll have to draft your son, daughter or nephew to go fight his war while you stay here penniless, homeless and unemployed. One week the guy said we're not bailing out the housing market and the following week he says he, and I quote "feels our pain". Really now?

Never fail to negotiate - Obama 08'

Obama isn't going to be president. 50% won't support him. About 30% will vote McCain. Enjoy this time while it lasts.

To "P Smith" - how can you support a candidate who is repeatedly ranked lower on scales of honest and trustworthiness? How can you support a candidate who has put forth an economic "plan" for a gas tax holiday that is taken from a republican nominee who has admitted he knows nothing about the economy? How can you support a candidate who, in the dying days of her campaign, is now openly appealing to "hard working Americans...white Americans" when her husband was billed "the first black president of the United States"? Why don't you let common sense and integrity prevail over your obvious obsession with race? Your have every right to do with your ballot what you will, but think twice before putting the personal interests of your candidate before the interests of your nation.

Jan from Boca Raton, you and the spiteful McCain voters should just
break of from the democratic party and form your own party. If you
are going to vote for McCain, then you are a republican anyhow, so what's
your point? You don't know how those states you pointed out are going to
vote in the fall. You should stop keeping up confusion.

In an effort to entertain us all, Paul said (on May 13th, 2008 10:32 am ET):

"STUPID POEPLE!!!!!!"
~~~~~~~~~
Uh, Paul? That's "people", not "POEPLE!!!!!!"
And your Caps Lock is usually the key above "Shift" on the left side of your keyboard. Press it once and release.
Like using multiple exclamation points, capitalizing your misspelled words as you call _others_ stupid isn't making you look any brighter.
Less hate, more thought please. Thank you.
Last year I moved from Oregon (where they hold a primary to nominate a presidential candidate) to the state of Colorado (where they caucus). And I have to say I'm shocked at how UNDEMOCRATIC the caucus was.
I attend Colorado State University where I live in Fort Collins, and there wasn't any visible effort to organize voters in this city to participate in the caucus.
I had no clue HOW to vote, WHERE to vote, let alone WHEN to vote. I'm an Oregonian — where the state runs the election process and doesn't leave it up to local party members. A small number of people in this state swung the election for Obama.
The fact that Obama is claiming that he WON the state of Colorado — based on the showing in the caucus — is a JOKE. Give me a primary election any day. That's the only FAIR way to conduct an "election".
Obama will be in for a surprise when the people in Colorado — and all the other caucus states — actually have an opportunity to cast a VOTE.
