(CNN) — If Hillary Clinton ends up winning more than 70.05 percent of the vote in West Virginia tonight, she will have her best showing of the campaign to date.

Clinton's biggest victory so far this campaign came in the Arkansas primary on Super Tuesday, February 5, when she beat Barack Obama 70.05 percent to 26.25 percent — the Illinois senator's poorest showing to date.

The Arkansas primary marked the only contest so far where Clinton reached the 70 percent vote threshold. So far Obama has reached or exceeded 70 percent in five contests: the DC primary (75 percent), and the caucuses in Alaska (75 percent), Hawaii (76 percent), Idaho (79 percent), and Kansas (74 percent).

Clinton's second best showing was in the Rhode Island primary on March 4, when she captured 58 percent of the vote.

So tired of seeing Donna Brazile pretend to be neutral. Please replace her with someone who is not so obviously spinning for Obama.

Yes, it's a record!   May 13th, 2008 9:33 pm ET

Hillary Clinton's win in WV IS a record. NO ONE can take away her victory! As for me, she deserves the nomination like anyone I've EVER watched during the primaries. If the CNC steals the nomination for Obama (discounting the votes she received in FL and MI) — I WILL WRITE IN HER NAME ON THE NOVEMBER BALLOT. PERIOD! NO OBAMA FOR ME — EVER!

Dara in Iowa   May 13th, 2008 9:33 pm ET

Nice speech, but I fear it's a bit too late for Hillary. However, something unexpected may happen and she might be the nominee. I think she should keep fighting.

Either way, I think this 'I'm going to vote for McCain' talk will go against what HRC expressed in her speech tonight. You Clinton supporters might want to listen the person you SAY you support. She does not want the Democratic party to lose in the general, whether she's the nominee or whether Obama is. Voting for McCain will go against everything your candidate is for.

However, if that's too complicated for you (to not stab your cadidate in the back if she loses the nomination), I can understand how voting for McCain instead of Obama might make sense to you. *dripping with sarcasm* *rolls eyes*

Go Obama!!!

LNAB   May 13th, 2008 9:33 pm ET

1916….that's a number to remember…the only year in which a Democrat won the White House without winning W.V.

I hope the super delegates wake up because in their dizzy dance to justify Obama's nomination (which relied up activists in caucus states that DON'T vote Democratic in the GE…activists that almost NEVER reflect the popular will) are going to give this election to the repugs.

Stupid…the DNC's nomination plan is simply stupid. And really, if they don't fully seat Michigan and Florida…it will be a BIG win for the republicans.

SS   May 13th, 2008 9:33 pm ET

$50 dollars you better ask for your money back…LOL!

The Florida and Michigan argument is getting old. The DNC will allocate those delegates in a fair way, split 50/50, then what does the Clinton camp have.

HELLO…WAKE UP!

I can't wait for Senator Obama and his family to move into the White House next year…

Nothing worse than hearing false hope from all of these delusional people. I feel sorry for you all.

Ito, Yokosuka Japan   May 13th, 2008 9:32 pm ET

And she is only set to win approximately 115,000 of the voting edge over Obama. I don't think she can overtake him in the popular vote, which spells doom for her. Not that Hillary Clinton knows how to spell any better than she can do math.

Hillary should run for senator in West Virginia or better yet run for GOVENUER!!!!!!!!!! She will really make HISTORY!!!!

After all "Dem ar yaw" type of people!!!! She can drink whiskey, shoot guns in the back of the Govenuer's Mansion, tell war stories about surviving sniper fire and how she was instrumental in bringing PEACE to IRAQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HILLARY CAN WIN IN NOVEMBER!!   May 13th, 2008 9:32 pm ET

WE CAN DO THIS !

It doesn't matter if Hillary wins 100 % of the vote in West Virginia, she can NOT win. It is called simple MATH.

This is not an unexpected result…record or not, it further highlights the divisions within the Democratic Party that previously remained hidden until this historic primary. The party has a lot of work ahead of them. Hopefully they can reunite for the general election or overwhelm the negative aspects within our nation, and build a new coalition with those who truly want to move forward and bring about real change to business as usual on capital hill.

anne t   May 13th, 2008 9:32 pm ET

cnn you are always dissing Clinton and talking about how inspiring Obama is but i get inspired by her message of hope and breaking the barriers for women. You don't seem to understand that, but her speeches make me misty eyed thinking HOW GREAT IT IS THAT WE FINALLY HAVE A VIABLE WOMAN CANDIDATE. I never knew how the mainstream media is so male dominated until I've watched your ceaseless under appreciation of Clinton.

I hope all of you get jobs working in Obama's administration–I nominate Anderson Cooper for press secretary! Like, see ya!

Then I won't have to listen to all of your one sided coverage!

eric, minnesota   May 13th, 2008 9:32 pm ET

How can you say its Clinton or McCain. They have absolutely no policies in common at all. Now Clinton and Obama share the same position on almost every policy. So once again I ask, How can you say its either Clinton or McCain. They have nothing in common except for there skin color. So is that why Obama lost you OBAMA LOST US. Looking at exit polls from a clearly racist state really doesnt tell you anything except that they are a racist state. Now not everybody in WV is racist, but Im willing to guess that at least 20% of her vote was just that, RACIST. Obama couldve campaigned there for months and spent millions of dollars and he probably still couldnt have done any better than maybe a 60%-40% split. She probably won every demographic in the state except for the black vote. She hasnt done that in anyother state, so what does that tell you.

SANDI   May 13th, 2008 9:32 pm ET

im a disenfranchised floridian who would rather chew off my own leg than vote for obama he never has anything of substance to say unless hilary says it first i dont think he has the experience to see our nation into a future of change and if he gets the nomination i most likely wont even bother with the november election not that it would matter if i did as florida has an ever increasing history of screwing up elections and not letting the people be heard.

Caucuses don't count as percentages. They do not reflect support in the general population.

Take it to the floor Hill!

Jack   May 13th, 2008 9:31 pm ET

Hillary wins what counts: OH, PA, and FL…. w/o these states, the Democratic nominee can't win

Hillary wins the demographics that are needed to beat McCain: Catholics, Jews, Hispanics, blue-collar workers, and white women (the largest voting bloc of the Dem primary)

Trenton Sims, Los Angeles   May 13th, 2008 9:31 pm ET

I think its great Hillary won West Virginia, as she was supposed to do…I think its great she is still in the election fighting for ever last vote, and I think its great that Democracy works well in this country…

That being stated, the end is near, and I hope she can mend fences with Barack Obama, and that she may one day either be the VP, or on Baracks Cabinet…

I just hope over these next few weeks she can be civil, and that she realizes that the fight allbeit a good one, is in fact over…

(yes I am a Obama Supporter), but I also support democracy, and Hillary's right to go till the end…she has waged a great political campaign, and she vetted Barack very well….which only makes us Democrats stronger!!..

Hillery, Hillery, Hillery - why can't you get the African American vote? There is only one black person in the audience. This is something you need to improve on in the next few races. West Virginia seems to be a very racist state - whites vote for whites. Please remember Hillery supporters - if they steal this nomination from Barack Obama, we will not vote for Hillery either. I for one will stay home.

Debbie   May 13th, 2008 9:31 pm ET

Ths was all for naught and will probably divide the party because she is stringing her supporters along with her rhetoric. She would have to get 85% of the superdelegates, win the rest of the primaries with a 60% edge. So tonight was for what 20 pledged delagates. With Obama's 8 and the superdelegates he got this week, NO GAIN TONIGHT.

HILLARY CAN WIN IN NOVEMBER!!   May 13th, 2008 9:30 pm ET

SHE ALSO HAD 55% IN FLORIDA AND A GOOD SHOWING IN MICHIGAN AS WELL!!!!!

THIS IS JUST FURTHER PROOF THAT OBAMA CANNOT WIN THE STATES NEEDED IN THE FALL!!!!!!

THIS COMBINED WITH ALL OF HIS CONTROVERSY = A LOSS!

I WILL DONATE TO HILLARY'S CAMP TONIGHT!!!!!!!!

GO HILLARY GO!!!!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!

Obama..

No you can't, no you won't. You will lose in November. This should be about who can win in November. You can't.. I will not vote for you as will soooo many others.

I'm a Hillary supporter who refuses to vote for Obama because he is the LEAST qualified to be President. I don't vote for someone simply because they belong to this party or the other or because they give nice speeches. Obama is an empty box. When November comes it will be a repeat of 2004 where every Democrat thought Kerry would beat Bush because no one liked Bush. Or so we thought??? Remember that come November it's not just the African American population or one half of the Democrats voting. It will be the conservatives, Republicans, independents, and oh.. Hillary supporters who refuse to vote for Obama because being President shouldn't be about popularity but more so experience, ideas, and the drive to get things done. None of which Obama has. For all my fellow Hillary supporters out there who aren't voting for Obama you have one of three options.
1) Write Hillary Clinton in as a write in the voting booth
2) Don't vote at all
3) Vote for John McCain.

Either of those is better then voting for someone to go into the White House with all the problems Bush created only to create more because he HAS NO CLUE!

Hillary 08 or McCain! NOBAMA!

Experience over the Audacity of Inexperience!

Karen Lawrence   May 13th, 2008 9:30 pm ET

Hillary talk to the people who are currently voting. She made a statement that white people will not vote for Obama were your talking to the many white racist in the part of the US. You don't speak to the people you speak to the demographic of the day. I don't trust Hillary, and I am tired of your ways. I will not vote for you, I wll write Obama in.

Oregon   May 13th, 2008 9:29 pm ET

Clinton's winning right now by 33 percentage points. That's big. But in District of Columbia Obama won by 50 percentage points. That was bigger. What matters more is, Obama's way ahead in delegates. He started the day with a lead of 173, and WV will reduce his lead by only about 8. Bottom line - Obama will still get the nomination by a tidy margin.

As for indications Obama might have trouble with white voters . . . no, it means he might have trouble with the least educated, least sophisticated white voters. That's hardly an argument in favor of switching to McCain or Clinton.

Congrats to West Virginia! They collectively voiced their opinion on who they believe is the best nominee. Except for the remain contest, many states have voiced their thoughts and it is reflected in the delegate count. That is the determining factor and that's what counts.

Tammy   May 13th, 2008 9:27 pm ET

Unfortunately if she is nominated it's a package deal which brings Bill back into the white house. Too much baggage and if she gets the nomination, I won't be voting Democratic.
She has no more experience than Obama. You might as well be comparing it to Bush Jr saying he had experience because his dad was President.
I don't buy her stories.
Obama needs to think about K. Sebelius for VP. Hillary needs to end this soon so that the Democratic party can get their act together before it's too late.

WV means nothing. It certainly isn't reflective of the America as we know it today. Obama already won. The media and her surrogates are just "pandering" to Hillary because she is a Clinton and was First Lady.

Don't worry, this will all be over soon. The constant spin ad stretching of how Hillary can "pull this off" is pretty pathetic. I don't know how they do it with a straight face. This is where I tune out from CNN until this is over and we can finally get to the real business of this election.

OBAMA/Anyone BUT Hillary Clinton '08.

David from Ohio   May 13th, 2008 9:26 pm ET

My state has open primaries as well. We should have closed primaries so that the ditto-idiots don't get a say as to who's the nominee. I don't understand some of the Hillary supporters posting on here–we would support Hillary if she were the nominee, only not if she gets it by stealing it at the convention. If Obama loses in the fall, don't expect Hillary to have any shot whatsoever at being the nominee in 2012…people's memories aren't that short.

Just Me   May 13th, 2008 9:26 pm ET

God, Hellary makes me want to puke. Listening to her speech, and her puppet-masters have her stealing all of Obama's lines & talking points. She's so weak & uninspiring. She can steal Obama's words & ideas, but she's the problem, and that's why she's already lost the primary.

Franky   May 13th, 2008 9:26 pm ET

I don't know but if I'm Hillary, I would try and figure out why so many states voted against her. I mean, tell Hillary that these "swing states" is all she got! By the way, how many has she won??? Is about 5 swing states, right? And that's not including Kentucky. I mean, I don't got anything against Hillary but she has more states where they will more likely vote Democratic in the GE! I mean, what does Hillary got??? No offense but in order to impress me, she needs to "wow" me in the Red States……and with these swing states……no offense Hillary but it seems to me that you got these 5 states vs THE red states I'm looking for………..I want surprises, not expectations. That's what I do…..

I feel sorry for a bunch of democrats and republicans in this country. Both sides have lost what it means to be in this party, and it's all about ME and not about what's best for the group… kind of like how our parents raise us in today's world.

McCain is more of a democrat than Obama and Clinton and you all know it. Ron Paul is a true republican by definition (free trade, state's rights, small federal government), and the rest of his own party look at him like he's insane. McCain is actually all about big spending and fighting in wars; a democratic policy from the Spanish American War to Vietnam… look it up

Well since that is true, what is Obama and Clinton… simple… socialists… a step above democrats in that format. They are today's Karl Marx socialists… not communists, but those that believe capitalism exists to benefit the state by taxing it to death, along with it's people….

but keep fighting all you want…

So Obama gets >70% FIVE times, Hillary ONCE… but she is the best candidate? He wins 14 more states than her, more delegates, more popular votes… even counting precious FL and MI….

WHY ARE PEOPLE SAYING SHE IS STRONGER?

If we are just going to guess or overturn votes, WHY BOTHER HAVING PRIMARIES.

We should have given Clinton her crown in her opinion, and if the primary does not do that… overturn it. If the general election does not go her way, overturn that…. its called DEMOCRACY and you say you hold the votes sacred but want to overturn the rules and the votes.

If you love the Republican rules and hate the electoral college, primary process, caucuses and the rest…. QUIT POLITICS AND LEAVE THE US…. or try to change the system. Don't just decide which rules do and do not count.

Hillary Clinton's speech right now in WV is exactly why she shouldn't be the VP (or President which is out of her grasp anyway). She hugs with one hand and stabs in the back with the other. Time to accept defeat and unite this party. Sen. Clinton's win in WV would had been a blip on the radar had it been in March instead of May. Obama figured he’d never carry West Virginia, so what did he do? He ignored it! He didn’t even bother to speak to the people about how he and his dreams of change for this country can benefit and change “their” lives. How can the average American possibly have faith and belief in a candidate when he only courts those who he feels are on his own level, in his peer group? Believe me, there are more “average Americans” than he and his supporters care to admit to…we are the core of this country and what has made this country great.

This primary leads me to wonder what kind of generation we “baby boomers” have raised. Yes, many of our parents grew up through the Depression and did not have the advantages that the youth of today does. They struggled to give their children the best they could. Sometimes it was just a roof over our heads, food on the table, clothes on our backs, and a public education.

When reading the posts of Obama supporters, I only hear anger and disrespect towards anyone who does not agree with them…like a spoiled child throwing a temper tantrum when they do not get their way.

In my opinion, if anyone has forged a divide within the Democratic Party it is the supporters of Obama. And before you start to throw your nasty comments my way, yes, I am an educated woman, by my own modest means. My parents may not have been able to afford me the education they wished they could, but at least I can say that as a paralegal, I am contributing to the betterment of children’s lives with my career choice.

Growing up in the Washington, DC area I was exposed to politics all my life. I came from a family of staunch Republicans, which was not my choice. For years I hid my own political views from my parents. An acquaintance from the 1970’s (as I was struggling to vote against my own parent’s party before my first Presidential election) gave me the best advice I’ve ever heard…”If you’re 20 and not a liberal, you have no heart…if you’re 40 and not a conservative you have no head.” He was a Washington attorney and life-long Democrat. Yes, I am also a Democrat, but this primary season sometimes leads me to wonder why.

Good Grief   May 13th, 2008 9:23 pm ET

Wonderful. Now she can exit this race with her head held high. It's time for the general.

GOBAMA

georgia   May 13th, 2008 9:23 pm ET

Blube Dog Dem   May 13th, 2008 9:23 pm ET

All you Obamaits sound like the right wing republicans. Shame. She is a Democrate just like Obama. If you don't want her, or her millions of supports, supporting Obama in Nov, just keep bad mouthing her…..and don't cry when your guy loses!!!

dolly   May 13th, 2008 9:23 pm ET

Way back on Super Tuesday people hadn't heard of Reverend Wright and the small town folks clinging to guns and relegion. Some might vote differently now and in November

No Hillary   May 13th, 2008 9:23 pm ET

This race is over…. I just feel sorry for Hillary supporters how simple minded they are.. still believeing she has a chance to win… people just go and do the math and don't waste ur time.

Julie Mills   May 13th, 2008 9:23 pm ET

I am from Michigan and Hillary did not win Michigan. I was uncomitted and she should take all the delegates, Obama was not on the ballot .

She IS   May 13th, 2008 9:22 pm ET

Hillary is the record.

She is this campaign.

She is the truest and most admirable and most qualified and most capable and most loved.

She is the winner.

Always will be.

We will not accept Obama even though you keep forcing him on us.

Go Hill.

Susan in PA   May 13th, 2008 9:22 pm ET

How many times did she ask for money in that speech?

Pathetic.

Copperfield   May 13th, 2008 9:22 pm ET

I'm glad I got to hear Hillary's speech. She really showed a view towards November and a United Democratic party regardless of the canidate. She obviously wants the nomination, but I think its clear to her that the Democratic Party is more important.

Tito   May 13th, 2008 9:22 pm ET

Her speech, is copying same Obama words, now is she for the speechs that she critized before?

I don;t believe on you, many don't

There is no math possible!!!!

Go Obama 08

rw   May 13th, 2008 9:22 pm ET

scared of her   May 13th, 2008 9:22 pm ET

Thanks to Hillary Clinton, who has galvanized the uneducated and the racist voters who will never vote for a Black Man, we are likely to have this election and the fate of this country hinge on the whim of the ignorant rednecks who will vote for her or John McCain. Thanks Hillary.

Retire Clintons!!!   May 13th, 2008 9:21 pm ET

When CLinton throwed 2290 threshold out of her mouth, I wonder how many independents and rule abiding democratics have been once again turned away. She was begging as she was "almost in heaven".

Meantime did you see how happy Hannity is on Foxnews? That is all what Clinton can do in her heaven.

Texan   May 13th, 2008 9:21 pm ET

so whats the "sombering" news?

DrCats   May 13th, 2008 9:21 pm ET

Thats really nice she won WV.

Unfortunately, it means little…

I commented on the other posts, its amazing how ignorant people can be…

ohio voter   May 13th, 2008 9:21 pm ET

is it me or CNN cant count? it says hillary has 63% AND Obama has 30%. that doesnt add to 100%. 47,151 hillary and obama 22610. someone do the math please because CNN is stupid

Bruce TX   May 13th, 2008 9:21 pm ET

Hillary Has what we need, I'm seeing so Many Obama supporters saying its racial and well His Pastor and his quotes from Farrikan and Obama same quotes and well your Right sounds Like Obama is a racist! and besides no economic or leadership ability's, if He Loves America, He needs to Drop out so McCain does not win!

Paul   May 13th, 2008 9:21 pm ET

IRONY!!!

Who'd have thaught when this whole thing started, that
HILLARY CLINTON, the destructable, guarenteed democratic nominee, would be relying so heavily on the "small" states.. to KEEP her in a race which is now over!

and she was beaten by a COMPLETELY UNKOWN, BLACK MAN!!????

Good Work Obama!! if you can come from nowhere, and beat THE biggest name in U.S. Politics..you will make a GREAT PRESIDENT!

Interesting   May 13th, 2008 9:20 pm ET

Americans never quit. Neither should you Hillary. Obama is a weak candidate and the Republicans know it and that is why they are trying to count you out. You keep fighting just like the NY Giants over the Patriots. You are the strongest candidate and EVERYONE including Obama supporters know it. They just want you to let this weak excuse of a candidate get in without being VETTED.

never Obama   May 13th, 2008 9:20 pm ET

The more Obama is out there, the more people see the real sneaky, sleazy, manipulative politician that he is.

The more we see the more we dislike him.

The more we rally to Clinton who survived the biggest campaign of hate ever waged by the media against a candidate.

The more we admire Clinton who stood up against the corruption of the DNC for the sake of the American people.

She must be alright if the hideous media hates her so much.

Patrick In Tennessee   May 13th, 2008 9:20 pm ET

She has basically lost the race, but its still good that she is motivating the democratic party for the main race coming up against the republican's.

Kevin   May 13th, 2008 9:20 pm ET

When you win by a landslide in a state that is overtly racist, undereducated, and fearful, can you really consider that a WIN?

From the comments I've seen West Virginians make on their local news stations, it seems they should mostly serve as a reminder to the rest of the country how far we have come in this human evolution…
but there they are, proud of their selective ignorance. What a mad world.

Deloris Rozier   May 13th, 2008 9:20 pm ET

How can someone who is twenty one million dollars in debt tell us that she can move this nation out of a major deficit? Hillary Clinton is a major dissapointment. Her character is flawed and she deliberately pitted us(Americans) against each other for her selfish gain. Go home Hillary. You need time to ask God for forgiveness.

Jay   May 13th, 2008 9:20 pm ET

So obama reached that for caucuses…too bad thats not how we vote for the general election.

Too Little, too late   May 13th, 2008 9:20 pm ET

At this point, does it matter?

I voted Obama in IN and I'll do it again.

yen   May 13th, 2008 9:20 pm ET

Indeed Clinton is a strong loser. She can't quit. She has tasted power. It is not easy to give up.

J Buch   May 13th, 2008 9:20 pm ET

For being counted out Clinton now has won 6 of last 8 primaries and is thumping the presumtive nominee tonight? Something isn't making sense here folks.

Joan
Mn

Mark   May 13th, 2008 9:20 pm ET

Wow, thats great that she won a small state… good for her! Anyways, on to the general election. I am sure Barrack will mention you in his acceptance speech.

Robby   May 13th, 2008 9:20 pm ET

Sill think hes going to have to put her on the ticket to make it work. The party is too divided right now. Make peace

nathan   May 13th, 2008 9:20 pm ET

Dont You people get it, she is in debt!!!

Obama '08

susie   May 13th, 2008 9:20 pm ET

Hillary is smarter than Obama and McCain put together.

Chut Pata   May 13th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

Right now it is 62-33 which is way lesser than what they predicted i.e. 80-20 to 90-10

Darryl   May 13th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

How much debt is the Clinton willing to build trying to buy a job.. This lady is the biggest joke around.. please don't take this mean however can any high school graduate from West Virginia help Hillary Clinton out with her math she's will be short…….

Now Please pay your own bills I will never bail her out…… Maybe West Virginia will pay her debt too……

No Hillary   May 13th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

All these wins are just symbolic… as you can tell Obama was concentrating on Mc Cain and was campagining in Midwest….this race against Billary is over…we are already in the next round with McCain…please wake upppppppppppppppppppppppppp!!!

EJ   May 13th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

You can't be seriously digging so deeply into this… The state was perfect for Clinton and would have had the same result no matter what happened. The state has 28 delegates! We could easily talk this much about a state like Washington, where Obama dominated by a "near record" but because the timing of WV makes it all there is to talk about we get the pleasure of hearing all this analysis that won't mean much in the end.

hilary one L   May 13th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

if i were running for president i wouldn't let a little thing like debt stop me. i wonder how much collective debt the haters have.

GO HILLARY show the haters!!!

JFK   May 13th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

Obama has some major problems come fall. This is a sad day for the Democrats as it further shows not everyone wants him. This includes myself since he has too many problems and I will continue to support Hillary.

Bill from New York   May 13th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

Hillary for Senator of West Virginia!

rachel   May 13th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

She was nice to barrack, more than I can say for him….. post.

Miguel Foncerrada   May 13th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

Just look at the facts - no Democrat has won the presidency without West Virginia since 1916 - it's the demographics…

Allison Marie   May 13th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

Go Hillary Go,

We love you in FLORIDA,

We want you!

Florida & Michigan go for Hillary!

Jay   May 13th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

Hillary 08!

Thats kinda sad for Obama this late in the game when he THINKS he has won already!

Carter Usm   May 13th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

I am sure Hilary will try to claim that winning WV by 30 points proves she should be the nominee, but she will forget to mention getting beat by over 30 in Illinois, Alaska, Georgia, Nebraska, Hawaii, North Dakota, D.C., Kansas, . . .

serah   May 13th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

If only she would use this chance to retreat and call it an end, that would be considered patriotic enough and would go in History for ever. Otherwise so far she will be remembered as a divisive person and that will affect Bill Clinton credibility especially in places where he delivered powerful speeches for CASH. They will notice a change in that area.

Ray in JAX   May 13th, 2008 9:18 pm ET

Oncce again. the old bag of lies starts her speak off begging for money… how sickening please go to hilLIARCLITON I want to waste your money.

M.E.M Kansas city   May 13th, 2008 9:18 pm ET

Can you say MELTDOWN .WOW !!!!!!!!!!

anon   May 13th, 2008 9:18 pm ET

For the Clinton supporters who say they will vote for McCain so Hillary can run in 2012.. What do you think the Obama supporters will do to Clinton in 2012? Think about it.

Obama 08:white, female and 60   May 13th, 2008 9:18 pm ET

How many of those "Independents" are Republicans?? Why doesn't that show up on the exit polls?

Tina   May 13th, 2008 9:18 pm ET

What a waste of time and money. How low for her to beg for money no more then 3 lines into her speech.

A woman that is 20 million in debt wants to run our country. Its scary.

Why is such an uneducated state a swing state anyway? I don't get it.

walli   May 13th, 2008 9:18 pm ET

Thanks for pointing that out!!!

M. Sereda   May 13th, 2008 9:18 pm ET

Please tell Wolf Blitzer that it is PrOject, not PrEject.

Rufus Bee   May 13th, 2008 9:18 pm ET

I don't want Hillary to work hard for me - she might break one of her nails. I wonder if I'll still be like everyone else and understand the common person's plight when I'm worth over $100 million?

Obama lost us   May 13th, 2008 9:17 pm ET

Hillary rocks

Hillary rules.

We will ONLY vote for Hillary.

Wait and see.

Raghu   May 13th, 2008 9:17 pm ET

If Clinton doesn't win this election, I'm afraid we will all be sorry down the road!

i just gave her $50……

I choose you Hillary you!!!

HILLARY WON THE YOUTH VOTE!!! CNN - WRITE THAT BIG!!!

SHE WON OBAMA'S DEMOGRAPHICS!!!

Andy Shern   May 13th, 2008 9:16 pm ET

Way back on Super Tuesday, when it really mattered, Obama beat Clinton by more than 2:1 in the WHITE state of MN, a state that had more than twice the number of delegates at stake as WV.

Marissa   May 13th, 2008 9:16 pm ET

She could take 100%, and it would make no difference. Yawn.

J E   May 13th, 2008 9:16 pm ET

Big shock.

Knew for month's WV heavily favored Clinton.

Lets see how it affects the delegate count.

Slowpoke   May 13th, 2008 9:16 pm ET

I can't imagine what record book would record this.

John Smith   May 13th, 2008 9:16 pm ET

Let the "strong and active supporters" of Hillary please leave the democratic party. The Clintons screw up just about anything they lay their hands on. They will screw things up, lie about them, and abandon them without guilt or shame. Ask Monica Lewinsky and Paula.

The democrats need a new movement that is built on honesty and integrity. A party that is blind to race and gender (as these are elements that only God can lay claim to).

Please stop posting here as a democrat, if you are a blind follower of the Clintons. This is not strength, it is abuse on the intelligence of learned people. The math is the math!!!

USAF Sr. Airman   May 13th, 2008 9:15 pm ET

Clinton will go on and on and on about this victory.

She will, of course, fail to mention or admit to the five contests that Obama trounced her in.

jl   May 13th, 2008 9:15 pm ET

HILLARY HAS A MATH PROBLEM!!!!

Paulinus   May 13th, 2008 9:13 pm ET

Much to late is her cry

Pat in Cali   May 13th, 2008 9:13 pm ET

Go Hillary …$20 million in debt and growing…
