Exit Polls: Clinton gains edge among independents

(CNN) - Exit polling shows Hillary Clinton winning a slim majority of independent voters in West Virginia’s Democratic primary. Eighteen percent of the voters in today's Democratic contest identified themselves as independents; they went for Clinton over Obama, 53 percent to 40 percent.

Blacks, BO's most loyal constituency, are mostly uneducated. What does that say about him?

"Slim"?!?!?!? Since when is a 13% lead in anything a "slim" lead? I do not understand this bias. If Obama or McCain had the same lead among independents it would be called a blow-out.

Hillary is unelectable. Why do you think Obama leads in pledged delegates, super delegates, popular vote and money? If everyone loves Hillary, why does no one donate to her campaign? She has the highest negatives of anyone in the Deomcratic Party.

She also has not been vetted. Obama has been very nice. The Repubs won't be. They will raise little things like the pardons for drug dealers and fraudsters that her brothers Tony and Hugh were paid lots of $$$ to get from her husband. The $450,000 donation to her foundation in return for the pardon for Marc Rich.

Oh the sleaze that would come out if she were the nominee...

No Surprised ........ watch a clip of the news reporters interviewing the voters ... they asked the m why are you not voting for Obama .. one answered .. because he is a Muslim .... reporters replied he said he is not, he is a catholic ... she then said "i don't believe him"

interviewed another .. she replied .. "hmm, i don't know, i just know I'm voting for Hilary" .... LOL

why don't they come out and say the real reason they are not voting for him, and stop making some ludicrous excuses .....................

    anyways .. UNITED WE STAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Please, Democrats, unite!

Many supporters of the Democratic party were really torn between two great candidates.

Hillary will vote for Obama in the general election if Obama is the nominee. Hillary and Obama are close allies, trying to change the course of America.

We are on the same team. Go Democrats!

Like many have said before, and I'll reiterate again, the moderates are going to choose the next president.
We've had enough of the extremist. All that needs to be done is look at the past eight years to see what that's done for America.
Obama is on the liberal left. His views do not resonate with 'normal' Americans. The Democratic primary is slanted because there are lots of moderate Republicans who would vote for Clinton.
However, if there is an Obama/McCain election in November, McCain will appear to be much more moderate than Obama. That coupled with McCain's military experience and more conservative economic platform will sway the moderates on both sides.
I want to vote for a Democrat, but I don't want four more years of extremism. That would truly be 'more of the same.'

    Congrats Mrs. Clinton!

Head held high.... lol. That's an upside down view. She will always be a low-road traveler. She has proven to be a liar and is now stealing the funds from the Dems by prolonging her failed attempt. I'm all for challenging the front runners but now its the Republicans turn... step down and realize that there is something bigger than you going on.... Hillary count your millions while you still have them and drop out. OR drop out latter and count the Dem party millions in pay-backs. It's inevitable and your now irrelevant in the eyes of MOST SD, States and voters. Live your lies and write hillary in. Just more venom that she has instilled into the hearts of once good people. Her new Motto:
"We are all here ... because we are not all there"

    God Bless this country

Why don't we just make Hillary the "front-runner" for 2-3 weeks and let us see how the Republicans will trash her (and the democratic party).

People are forgetting that the Republicans really want Hillary. Independents in West VA are not your "typical" Independents in this nation. They are independents only for racial reasons.

I would love to see the Clinton scandals come up. I would love to hear, finally, from Monica Lewinsky, Paula Jones and so on.

Oh, I would also like to hear about the missing items BEFORE the Clintons left the White House. The Republicans are ready for their revenge, let us given Hillary!!!!!!!

I am an independent who would vote for McCain over Obama even if Hillary was the VP. Obama is too liberal and I don’t trust him to lead and change this country. Not all change is good.

The more The media and the DNC and the democratic elite families trash this woman... the more the people love her.

I have never respected and admired this woman as much as I do right now. I will not vote for ANY lesser candidate, when I can vote for Hillary.

She is the true champion of the American people.

Don't let her go. America and the world needs this noble, hardworking, dedicated public servant.
