After reading all of the asinine comments here, I shudder to think of the politicians the American people will elect to the White House. I mean come on, after four years of George Bush, the people re-elected him for a second term? McCain will be more of the same. You are so quick to say stupid things about Hillary, but Obama is not any better. He is a politician just like the rest of them. He makes a nice speech but he is arrogant and self-serving just the same.

HIllary should VP up with McCain. She's republican anyway, don't deny it. Those two can have the white racist vote. They won't win without the black vote or the enlightened white vote. We have a serious race relations problem in this country and we are still stuck 60 years in the past. Australia, New Zealand, and England have moved on, why can't we? And to all the Clinton supporters who think she won't change into a Republican Red pantsuit, Joe Lieberman did, so it is possible, Hillary could do the same. She was a republican until she married Bill. She's not a fighter, she's a liar, and that's what Republicans excel at.

It will be so funny when Hillary lets the dumb Democratic Party have Nobama and runs as an independent candidate. She will have a realistic chance at the White House (and no matter what will mess it up for the other two).

I've got another brilliant idea! Hillary can be VP with McCain. Let's face it, if she's ever a VP then she knows she's only one, "have a nice trip and see you next fall," away from the presidency. This would protect us from ever having McCain as president because she would make sure she did him in, then she'd be impeached, and Lieberman, who would be speaker of the house, could take over and all would be pie in the sky.

Actually, I can almost see Hillary knowing her role and supporting Barack. Bill, however, I'm not sure about. I'm having a hard enough time imagining him falling back and letting Hillary be president. Not an inditment against him, just with him having been the most powerful man in the world for 8 years, I wonder how he'd take a back seat.

NO for vp that have been fallowing Mc Clinton and have been as negative as the McClinton 3.
Obama should choose a vp that benefits his campaign for change .
Put Clintons under the bus they are old politics, liars ,we DON"T deserve or need need Hilliar , or the shadow of Bill, Monica,Paula ,Jennifer enough is enough.
Obama has ran an organized positive great campaign so why add these same old characters for more of what we have had for far to long already.
With Obama that is exactlly what we want to "movie past old style politics "
Wake up its Republican /McClinton supporters pushing to get her as Vp .

Just say NO Mc Clinton for VP.

Obama /Richardson 08/12

love how you dems now want to cast McCain as the reincarnation of W, simply because he voted for the war (like Hillary, like Kerry, like Lieberman, shall I keep going) and supports tax cuts (want me to name some more dems?).

Fact is (and always was), McCain can't stand GWB, and has never tried to emulate him.

God, it scares me that many of you on the left are too stupid to read, spell, think, but we let you vote.

Now, flame away (I won't be reading it. I have to get back to work to support your lazy behinds).

Here's a thought...McCain should choose Secretary Rice as his running mate. Would that not be the biggest coup ever?!

McCain then can say that They are the face of the new Republican party. Here is your hope and change: Republicans put the first African American and Woman in the Executive Branch.

It will also take the only weapon the media and the Obama camp have in there pocket: the race card.

Okay, we've seen Hillary in action. Do you really want to consider her because she can garner the so-called blue collar white vote? These are the same people who would despise seeing a man like Obama in the White House. These are the same people who would despise seeing change for anyone except themselves. These are the same people who harbor prejudice and hatred......These are the same people who need to get with the program and realize that change can come without having a white male or female in the White House. These are the same people who put their faith in "white is right!" These are the same people who need to change not Obama....He has seen the other side of the coin and they never will if they hang onto the ideals of the 60s and beyond. I'm sicj and tired of the news of these so-called "blue collar" workers and their families...we live in America, too, and we have always had to cater, tap dance, and rumba to the music of the status quo! CNN would do well to move on as well and stop talking about Obama needing to gain these same people votes. These are the people who would ssell out AMerica to keep things as they are....white in control....

You people are really hateful.

I am already sent a letter to Howard Dean explaining why I will not vote for Obama no matter who he picks for VP.

Staying in his church does matter to alot of us. His wife's not proud to be American plus some of her other remarks which seem racist matter a lot. Not having enough experience matters a lot. The terrible & hateful remarks by some of his supporters matters alot. His color does not matter at all.

I will not be staying home if he is the candidate but will be out campaigning for John McCain. At least he has experience, his wife is very proud to be American, and he won't split the country.

The Obama supporter's talk about Hillary being delusional?? What a joke!! It seems that most of the Obama supporter's still don't get it. Obama may very well win the DEM nomination but without the support of Hillary Clinton's supporter's he will NEVER win the general election. The Obama supporter's are just so nasty... it's just ridiculous how you'll talk about Hillary Clinton and then expect her supporter's to support your boy-wonder Obama.

You know, it will be hard enough for Obama to win even with Hillary on the ticket. Without her though is just political suicide. No matter how hard it is for the Obama supporter's to admit, Hillary Clinton is still polling at or above Obama (depending on the state). You (the Obama supporter's) are the delusional one's if you really believe he can win without Hillary Clinton's help.

At this point, I really hope Hillary doesn't take the VP (if offered to her). Then we can watch Obama REALLY lose badly, teach you all a lesson. McCain will win the general election in November and if it's without Hillary Clinton on the DEM ticket, McCain will win by one of the biggest landslides in US history, just watch and see.

Sharon, Sharon, Sharon... give it a rest. We know you are upset. You've made that abundantly clear.

(Someone on another comment section wrote this and I liked it. Unfortuneately, I didn't get the name of the person who wrote it. )

I find it very sad and somewhat pathetic that Sen. Clinton feels the need to continue to build a case for the Republicans in the general election or that her supporters would rather vote for four more years of McBush than vote for Sen. Obama. I trust this nastiness is only because of the heat of the moment.

Sen. Obama won this nomination because the majority of Democrats support who he is and what he has to offer, not because we have "turned our backs on Hillary".

I pray she will stop this madness soon and wholeheartedly support and campaign for Sen. Obama. Anything less will terribly diminish her authority within the party. Let's put the nation first and come together behind our new Democratic nominee. Pres. Obama will begin to imrove this country on Day One.

Let us heal and come together.

Do you know how many lives have already been lost since this war began? I know. It's just like "Feed the Hungry Children" commercial…you just turn your head or change the channel. DO YOU KNOW THAT ALMOST EVERYDAY, MORE LIVES ARE LOST? Do you care? My sister has been there twice and thank God she came back safely both times, but I am well aware of that fact that it could have easily been her and it still very easily can be her. McCain? Never. What about the other many people who have lost their lives in a war that was selfishly motivated and still is? Maybe no one that you particular care about had to go to Iraq; or maybe those that you cared about are back safely at home—so why should you care? 18…22…25….30 young lives…..before they even got a chance to live, they died and for no good reason.
Hillary forever or Jump ship!!–right? This is not about a white WOMAN against a BLACK MAN. This isn't feminism versus black panthers; get over yourselves. Wake up and stop the foolishness. There are deep issues in this country that need to be resolved and if you think McCain will solve any of them (easily seeing the US in Iraq another 100 yrs, his stance on healthcare..among other things), then you are living in LALA land. This is about Americans dying in Iraq. This is about our hurting economy. This is about the healthcare system. This is about it being harder and harder for the average American just to get by. McCain, like Bush, would only help the rich get richer and the poor get poor.
If Hillary is not the nominee and you vote for McCain….everything is SURE to remain the same; there are no doubts about that at all. Moreover, and what startles me is that you are so blinded by your malice and hate that you’d vote McCain….justifying the decision by what?? saying McCain is a better choice because McCain is not Obama and Obama is black?? Obama and Clinton have similar ideas and it’s a FACT that McCain’s ideas are far from both Sen. Clinton or Sen. Obama. Where’s the logic in that? There is no logic in it; I’m just going to call a spade a spade…it’s racisms and it’s hate. I thought that we as Americans, tended to look at the "big picture" however, I am seeing that some of you are so narrow minded in your thinking and near sighted in your vision, you will never have a clue as to what's really going on around you and as to what REALLY matters. What REALLY matters is not Hillary winning, what REALLY matters is not Obama winning…what REALLY matters is that at least ONE of them win. You don't look to the future, instead you dwell on some disillusioned past. I guess America really isn't ready for CHANGE because the American people still hold on so desperately to anything that is the opposite of change. Perhaps because it didn’t come in the hue or sex, they expected it to.

As a Republican - I'll be voting for Obama this election. I can't however vote for an Obama / Clinton ticket.

I hope Obama realizes Edwards (would deliver the white blue collar vote) and Richardson would make a great VP.

I sincerely think that if he picked Clinton, Obama would have an "accident" or be framed for something and impeached. 4 more years of Bill bloating around the white house with his shrew of a wife depresses me.

I am yet to see something positive from CNN (Clinton's News Network) about Barrack Obama. They are doing EVERYTHING possible and promote every possible scenario for the Hillary to win.

Imagine as far they are concerned the earth shattering delagate switching and movement towards Obama DOES NOT EXIST but they could highlight a stupid statement like aggressive campaign in a state where the candidate stopped once... how sill they think their readers are. No wonder the demographics are what ther are..

It is absolutely absurd to think that Hillary Clinton would want to be bossed around by someone (Obama) who doesn't even have any resume items.

She would go stark raving mad in that situation.

Hillary would be in his office constantly explaining things to him about life and the world in general so he will have an inkling about what is going on.

Forget about him getting anything done. It took Obama 20 minutes to say he and his minister Wright were kaputs. I could have said it in a minute.

CNN – Please Post or do you want a divided party?
People...I am guilty of bashing. Yes, I can admit it. But we all are. It is time to stop blaming each other. Both sides did it. It wasn't just the Obama supporter or just the Clinton supporters. IT WAS BOTH SIDES.

We need to get past the he said, she said playground justice and focus on the real issue...KEEPING MCCAIN out of the White House.

As I said before, I am guilty. I bashed on both sides. I started supporting one candidate and later changed sides. Who I support doesn't matter because their stand on the issues is almost identical.

Rush wants us to continue to bash and to keep us weak because he knows we could get anyone elected if we stood together. He fears US...A UNITED DEMOCRATIC PARTY!

So let's leave the name calling and finger pointing to the children on the playgrounds and act like adults. Once again, me included.

Let's end the negative and focus on the challenge...Beating McCain.

This is my pledge. Who stands with me?

OK - One small grammar lesson here:

Lose = Not to win
Loose = Not tight.

The verb is 'losing' not 'loosing.' This has been going on for too long on this blog and has been driving me nuts. Now I am going back to a real political blog (politico.com) that actually posts intelligent articles and allows everyone to post comments, not just the haters going against each other. What has CNN turned into, Jerry Springer??

Anyone but Clinton. I agree with Davide Gergen. If he does pick CLinton, he'd better have the SS test every piece of food he eats and every drink.

No Hillary on Obama's ticket! No Clintons back in the White House!

The Republicans are waiting to stump Hillary considering all the dirt they have on her and Bill!

Hillary wouldn't have Obama on her TICKET because her supporters are not voting for Obama!

I am surprise that some of Hillary's supporters are still on the internet - considering Hillary is broke and how much it cost for internet!!!!!!!

Go Obama! Hillary didn't think much of you before - so just keep going after Mc Cain. Let Hillary go on Mc Cain's ticket!
