Wouldn't it be cool if the superdelegates came out in full force for Obama after today. That would be the best thing for our country. Hillary only thinks about Hillary, as America and the world can see.

Hey Hillary, take your millions and buy some dignity.

Well I mean if they're going to do it drop by drop (SD coming out for Obama to put an end to these primaries)...why not just have a bunch of them come out together to have a greater impact. I guess they want to give the impression that this is not all planned.
Whatever since they're coming out for my preferred candidate. As for Hillary...well she just has to remember that humility is one the most powerful of all qualities to have and to show humility in such a situation wouldn't paint her as a quitter but as a woman of great character and judgment.

Do it Hillary. Save your party and save YOURSELF.

So many people acting like this is a good thing. Never mind the "HISTORY of good service" the Clintons have done for the democratic party. They are just throwing her to the wolves and ignoring the desire of the people. Never mind the fact that McCain is going beat Obama like a yard dog come November. I am so disgraced and dissapointed by my party. I was actually a republican and switched over because of Bush. I never cast one vote for Bush and was hoping the democrats could save our country. Well now thats a wash. I guess I'll be switching back over because for whatever faults the republican party may have, they don't stab the peoples choice in the back just to enter their ringer. I've not read the Bible like I should have over the years but Revelations seems to be resounding. Obama will be the destruction of life as we know it if we don't stop him. God help us all.

Would someone please explain to me exactly what "popular vote" means? Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it true that many states have not kept accounting of their "popular vote" since it wasn't the party's measure? (The delegate count was the only measure) And, isn't the term, "popular vote" simply another Hillary "make-believe" distraction to throw off the uninformed voter?

Oh, please, America, wake up and smell the rotting flesh...

If Obama is in, I am out of the democratic party. We all have seen just how he has obtained his win and just how the democratic party turned their backs on HIlliary. To hell with the superdelegates and who gives a flying leap about these "young black voters who will be upset if he does not get in". I did not know that is what an election is based on. What crap. And none of us care what John Edwards has to say at this point either.

A good chunck of Hillary supporters will not vote for Obama. If Obama thinks Hillary supporters are as dumb as his supporters and will vote for him, he is in for a surprise and so is the dem. party. Most of us will not unite behind him. He is not qualified - he is in the lead because black voters are voting for skin color and not brains and unfortunately all of us will pay the price if he gets in.

To bad if Hillary has to back him. I for one hope she does not take the VP spot. He will just feed off of her brains. Let all the nasty mouth people who made really bad remarks about Hillary help him.

And CNN, how could you print that about Hillary and Fatal Attraction and put those pictures side by side. You do some really bad bias reporting.

Some of the methods for counting states doesn't add up. Obviously you can't count Michigan or Florida (although somebody does--Terry) but it isn't just those states. Did anybody notice that Barack Obama actually won Texas if you count the caucus and popular vote combined. 98 delegates to Clinton's 95. The math can't work, especially if you are starting with fake numbers.

Anybody (Obama or Clinton supporters) that claim they will be voting for McCain if their candidate doesn't get the nomination, is a fake democrat anyway. Hello? Suck it up and vote against McBush. It is bad voting decisions like that that gave us Bush (TWICE!!).

To Maya,

I take it you *can* condone:

Clinton's willingness to play the politics of fear (images of bin Laden & the 3am phone call ad)

Clinton's embrace of reckless cowboy foreign policy (the "obliterate Iran" remark)

Clinton's cynical embrace of a dumb-populism (experts are "elitists" and I'm not going to listen to them)

Clinton's willingness to stoop to racial divisiveness ("hard working Americans, white Americans")

What's the difference between this sort of gutter sleaze politics and what we've been putting up with for eight years from the Bush administration?

No thanks. Clinton has proven herself to be entirely unprincipled, grossly opportunistic, and wholly dishonest.

It's time to unite behind Obama and take back the White House.

After 25 years of voting, I'll be doing something I've never done before. Come November, instead of voting for a candidate, I'll be voting against one. Leave it to this party to repeatly put up a weak and in this case, badly flawed candidate. It is a clueless voter, who does know that all these "super d's" are backdoor deals brokered for gain. We need a better and more honest system. No delegates, just one person, one vote. End the pandering and brokered deals and fake endorsements. The Dems deserve what we will be handed in November, but the people of this country deserve and need so much more.

Hilary has fought a tough battle. Unfortunately her campaign strategy was off. She's a brilliant woman. She just hasn't shown the leadership in her own campaign to be POTUS. Her stategists were "old friends" who were trying to run a campaign like her husbands and forgot the world progesses every day. I'm impressed with Obama's skill and leadership. He has tried to unite everyone, and even though thrown off course a time or two he has shown his ability to keep his campaign on course. Glad to see the superdelegates getting off the fence.

Larry and the rest of the Hillary supporters...Obama doesn't owe Hillary anything and she hasn't earned it either....She has repeatedly attacked him, his character, his judgement....made fun of his speeches and record and his position as "young" senator....he has done just fine and winning in all categories on his own....he will win the nomination and the general election with God and millions of supporters to believe in him....Hillary represents the politics of old and he's trying do something new.....If she wins big in WV and Ken and drop out, it only proves to everyone that she is about her and nothing else....what would happen to "everyone needs to vote and be heard"....she better stay in until 6/3rd, superdelegates will put him over the top...she can bow out and we can get on the ball with beating mccain...and everyone who made up in their minds in 1957 who they would vote for and for poisoning others with this same nonsense...SHAME ON YOU!.....GET OVER IT, EMBRACE OBAM 2008/2012

The suggestion that Hillary should be Obama's VP selection seems to make practical sense in that it holds the promise to bring their two coalitions togather. However, given her almost pathological obsession with being the top dog, I wonder if she would be capable of giving him her full support. Frankly, I would be worried about his personal safety with Hillary and Bill around. Efessbee, Jacksonville, FL.

I have been a Dem. all my life.I feel that if Mr. Obama wins the nomination I will have to switch my vote to Rep. I just don.t think that Obama can live up to all that he is telling everyone he is going to do for the people and he just does not have the expertise to do the job.

First serious woman candidate and we get a nutcase. Hillary it's time to leave, don't leave angry, just leave. Wait until June if you like, and then go away.

You are not a fighter; you're a self-serving brat to keep the party tangled up in your personal goal. Read the tea leaves, move on already.

This country will NOT be hijacked by you.

Hillary is the best candidate, otherwise Senator McCain would be a good choice since FLA and Michigan are being disenfranchised by the DNC...

We all know that she 'll be ahead in the popular vote

Hillary 08!!!

Keep strong we are with you!

The worst thing that could happen is for Hillary to finally admit that she has no chance and drop out and to then see her included on the ticket with Obama. There is a reason that people didn't give her the vote to make her the nominee and most people who voted for Obama have no desire to see her on the ticket.

BigBen - When you're down by 170, picking up 28 delegates doesn't matter. Nobody's trying to belittle a Clinton win. The fact is, it's just not that important and has little impact on anything.

Also - The popular vote doesn't matter.

TO THE HILLARY CLINTON SUPPORTERS...YOU ARE SO QUICK TO SAY OBAMA IS STEALING THIS ELECTION....MORE AMERICANS HAVE VOTEDFOR HIM THAN HILLARY...HE IS WINNING THE POPULAR VOTE...SO WHAT IS YOUR ARGUMENT????? AS FAR AS FL OR MI, HILLARY AGREED THEIR VOTES WOULD NOT COUNT....SHE CHANGED WHEN SHE SAW SHE WAS LOSING...FROM DAY ONE HILLARY'S CAMP THOUGHT OBAMA WAS GOING TO BE A PUSH OVER....OOPS!!! HE WAS NOT... HE HAS BEATEN IN EVERY ASPECT OF THIS RACE, MONEY, DELEGATES, SUPER-DELEGATES, POPULAR VOTES.....

TAKE YOUR VOTE SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU FEEL TO DO SO, THAT'S WHY THIS COUNTRY IS CALLED AMERICA....

STOP WITH THE RACISTS REMARKS ...AS AN AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN, I HAD TO VOTE FOR A WHITE AMERICAN PRESIDENT FOR 30 + YEARS...IT DIDN'T STOP ME FROM VOTING CAUSE HE WAS WHITE, NOT TO SAY I DID NOT HAVE A CHOICE....

AND IF OBAMA WAS NOT DESERVING OR QUALIFIED FOR MY VOTE I WOULD NOT VOTE FOR HIM....BUT HE IS QUALIFIED AND BRINGS A DIFFERENT KIND OF POLITICS...

IS THIS AMERICA, THE LAND OF THE FREE? WE AS AFRICIAN AMERICAN HAVE PAID OUR DUES AND HAVE BEEN CONTRIBUTORS TO THE HISTORY OF THIS COUNTRY JUST AS ANY OTHER RACE.....AND HILLARY OR ANY OTHER CANDIDATE CAN NOT WIN WITHOUT OUR VOTES EITHER....STOP THE BIAS...

YOU VOTE ON A PERSONS QUALIFICATIONS...NOT THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN.....

Now the rest of the Superdelegates need to come to their senses!

For the "democrats" who say they are voting for McCain if Hillary isn't on the ticket.....This is immature behavior resembling that of a child who doesn't have his/her way. Are you going to fold your arms, stomp off into your room and slam the door as well???? I mean really....grow up people. It's this sort of STUBBORN behavior that has landed this country where we are today.....people in leadership positions refusing to hear out something other than what they had in mind.

Closed minds raise poverty lines!!!! As we've all seen over the last 8 years.

Get your acts together and act like adults.

Obama 08!! Time for change and to bring my baby HOME!!!!

Hillary's main concern now should be how to get her supporters back on board to support the democratic nominee, aka Obama.. Yet she is still desprately trying to find a way to get the nomination somehow for herself.

She has many good qualities, but sound judgement is not one of them.

People...I am guilty of bashing. Yes, I can admit it. But we all are. It is time to stop blaming each other. Both sides did it. It wasn't just the Obama supporter or just the Clinton supporters. IT WAS BOTH SIDES.

We need to get past the he said, she said playground justice and focus on the real issue...KEEPING MCCAIN out of the White House.

As I said before, I am guilty. I bashed on both sides. I started supporting one candidate and later changed sides. Who I support doesn't matter because their stand on the issues is almost identical.

Rush wants us to continue to bash and to keep us weak because he knows we could get anyone elected if we stood together. He fears US...A UNITED DEMOCRATIC PARTY!

So let's leave the name calling and finger pointing to the children on the playgrounds and act like adults. Once again, me included.

Let's end the negative and focus on the challenge...Beating McCain.

This is my pledge. Who stands with me?

Superdelagates are afraid of a WOMAN as president. Obama is in the pockets of lobbiests and old white heads in public office. The best is yet to come when he os elected and what a great mistake America has made. We will be scarred for a very long time. Just like all of you who supported the war at the very beginning. A lesson yet to be learned. Americans are not smart when it comes to voting people into public office.

The best is yet to come when he os elected and what a great mistake America has made. We will be scarred for a very long time. Just like all of you who supported the war at the very beginning. A lesson yet to be learned. Americans are not smart when it comes to voting people into public office.

Watch for backlash if Clinton is VP. She is exact opposite to what Obama stands for. Knowing her masterful manipulation and divisiveness, any offer to her as a VP will divid Obama supporters. Any deliberate effor to use polls to push for Clinton joint ticket is a self-defeating manoeuvrea and doomed to fail.

NY senator Shumer is never an OBama supporter and he is lost with Clintons. He has no bearing, no credibility, whatever..

Senator Clinton will win today with her politics of fear and pander...to save her face, to continue to destroy and divide the Democratic Party, and to find some new "spin" material. It is very, very sad.

I hope soon that she will see the dignity in working toward unity in the campaign to take the Republicans out of the White House. That is the goal, regardless of which candidate wins the nomination. The prize is bigger than both of them. I hope that she wakes up and sees this quickly. She may as well join the Republican party now, as she is actively helping them.

Hillary knew after Indiana and North Carolina that she had lost. But she needs to get her money back, so she put on her game face and soldiered hit the trail.

This woman needs to be selling used cars--she missed her calling. What a piece of work, and she's not even good at lying. Her lies are so transparent. No one is surprised to hear her supporters are not educated.

Say good-bye to the Clintons and let's move on with our lives.

Even with the win in W. Virgina this doesn't change who is the stronger candidate for the fall. Lets unite people and put and end to this Republican machine.

The Obama campaign might even help Hillary with here $20 million dollar camaign debt. Now what does that tell you about a man who wants to unite the Dem and Rep party?

we need the superdelegates to offset the pledged delegates that hillary will pick up in WV & KY which would then end the race. Obama, do NOT select Hillary as VP - you ran based on a change in washington, hillary is the old guard - can you imagine hillary ( and Billy) running around washington undermining what obama wants to change....a positive dream ticket would include bill richardson, etc......send hillary back to ny.
