Chelsea Clinton has been campaigning for her mom in Puerto Rico since Tuesday.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — The U.S. Navy denied Chelsea Clinton access to a former firing range in Puerto Rico on Wednesday, Navy officials said.

The Navy rejected the request because U.S. law forbids campaigning on federal property and because the Navy allows only people clearing the Vieques range of ordinance to enter the area, the officials said. They said they did not know what Clinton planned to do there.

The U.S. Navy used the long-controversial Vieques range — the majority of the island of Vieques — for bombing and artillery practice until May of 2003. It was the target of frequent protests by Puerto Ricans who objected to its use. It is now federal property being cleaned of unexploded ordnance.

Clinton — who has been campaigning for her mother, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton — is in the U.S. territory ahead of its June 1 primary. It is the largest prize left for the Democratic candidates.

Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, is also due to campaign there.

Freida NYC, don't accuse Obama supporters of calling you uneducated, low income and hard working white people, where have you been when your girl (HILLARY) continue to say that about her supporters, and how can you support some one as I said before that thinks so little of you, do you not here her in her speaches I have heard her say that and I sat there and said "that is unreal" well I hope they are intelligent enough to know she is dropping an insult, and I hope they are intellegent enough to know that she is really not one of them, well I guess you really don't know that.

Sandy   May 14th, 2008 5:25 pm ET

Adam, I couldn't have said it better myself.

Dina   May 14th, 2008 5:23 pm ET

I have a far more intriguing question when it comes to Chelsea "I'm A Grown Woman Now" Clinton…does she or does she not have a 6-figure income based on employment which requires to actually be of service to someone other than her mother's campaign?

What kind of job does Ms. Clinton have that allows her to make 10x as much money as those good folks of WV and KY (whom she, mom and dad relate to so well and can feel their pain) yet not show up to work on a regular basis because she stumping for and with mom and dad? I'm sure there are plent of smart, hardworking people with college degrees who would love to work where Chelsea does and whom likely has some of the best medial insurance benefits in the country. So forgive me if her trying to prance onto a restricted miliatry base in Puerto Rico pales in comparison to this a substantive question in need of an answer. Anyone?

Adam   May 14th, 2008 5:19 pm ET

I keep hearing that Obama's supporters are generally more educated and you would think smarter than Hillary supporters. Then I look at comments like many of those above (not all) and just wonder where these voters are. Obama NEEDS the vast majority of Hillary supporters in order to be even competitive with McCain, so I would stop with the petty insults of a candidate many Hillary supporters adore.

stop the madness   May 14th, 2008 5:11 pm ET

These Clintons are all over the place thinking they are the exception to ALL the rules. They have the nerves to think that EVERYTHING and EVERBODY should change to suit them and their needs, well guess what this is a NEW DAY and the sooner you all realize this the sooner this whole process can go on. These Clintons got the whole nation held hostage in one way or the other. For sure the Democratic Party and the rest of us that have ventured over to support Obama.

It's time to pack it up, it's time to understand you all are not the superdogs you think you are, it's only her supporters that have not comprehended this, I only wish they would hurry and send the money she needs to recoup her losts so that she can go her way, but I'm sure they won't , they just talk a good game. It'll be Obama that will have to step up and bail her out i just hope he only pays the venders that she owes leaving her to her own losses.

liar, liar pansuit on fire!!

Billy Gibbons in Houston   May 14th, 2008 4:58 pm ET

There are no people in the firing range and Puerto Rico is not a state.
WHY was she there?

k   May 14th, 2008 4:54 pm ET

I really don't understand why Puerto Rico matter's. I know that HRC will win the primary but I hope the superdelegates are not considering this to be vaild or count because when I was watching CNN last night, a representative from Puerto Rico said that they can vote in the primary but not in the general election. I'm not trying to disenfranchise anyone but if they can't vote in the general election why do they get a say so in who the candidate should be.

Relevant   May 14th, 2008 4:53 pm ET

You know I skimmed to the bottom and I really don't have any comment on this other than to ask:

Did Mom and her campaign managers realize that there is potentially live, unexploded ordnance there?? Why would they put Chelsea in harm's way like that??

Hillary got cheated on in her own marriage and didnt do anything in her defense….and you people think this lady can run a whole country? she just grinned and beared it. So the next time America gets attacked, what will she do? Most likely grin and bear it. She's a push over. She goes to what is best for her at the momment. Its been pointed out she changes her views left and right whenever it is convienent for her. Barrack has taken the higher road most of this campaign while hillary has been a cheap shot artist. People who will vote for mccain over barrack might as well say bush was the best president ever. The gas tax holiday is a joke. He has no real economic strategy that ive heard. He wants us in iraq for the next 100 years and we know how much that will cost. For those who say if not Clinton then Mccain, you must be the uneducated no college grads that hillary has fallen in love with.

Frankly, for all of you HRC supporters who won't vote for Obama when he's the nominee, that's fine with me. I'm content to know that the democratic party chose not to back a lying, cheating, stealing, crook like HRC. If Obama loses in Nov, it will only seal the deal that HRC will NEVER, EVER be the democratic nominee. I'm just peachy with that too! I'm glad her hatefulness will come back to her.

Charlotte   May 14th, 2008 4:01 pm ET

Obama can win all the primaries, he will not win the general. I am sure he will fall like Dukakis,Kerry etc. He is too liberal for us Reagan Democrats, who vote for the person rather than the party. We tend to be blue collar white people, who work hard and did not go to college. I am glad to hear all the blacks went to college and make loads of money. We should have more money in the states with that major improvement. Could Obama be pandering with the flag pin? Nah, he is above that.

I think that Michelle Obama should stay in IL! She is only proud to be American because her spouse is running for President. I wondering how she will feel when Borack Hussein loses to Hillary Clinton at the convention? I sure DO NOT want her as "1st Lady"!

After reading some of the comments here, it sounds like Obama is drawing a lot of "Blind", Ugly, stupid people along with him. It is a shame that Obama supporters CAN NOT be civil in this race for the White House.

Besides that, Obama WILL NOT be able to beat McCain in November. Even having McCain as President is a whole lot better than having Obama as President. He would be a "Rookie" "OJT" President. And it would end up being worse that having "Bush" serve a third term!

Karlie   May 14th, 2008 3:58 pm ET

I have to agree with Chris. I'm a retired white woman who, after getting over the idea that a woman in the White House would be nice, did my homework and and now support Sen. Obama. He has detailed plans every bit as good as Sen. Clinton's. His experience isn't in the U.S. Senate, but at the state level. But that's actually better. He isn't part of the Washington "establishment," but he has seen the corruption first hand in his short time there. His health care plan is, in my opinion, even better than Hillary's….universal coverage with choices. People can stay in their employer-funded insurance plans, if they wish, and the employers will have a much easier time funding them (translated: lower insurance costs that way). Or, people can have several other plans instead. Everyone will be covered. Read the plan…it's only fifteen pages, and the Q & A is good too. That explains how the plan will help employers and the self-employed.

It saddens me that some Clinton supporters keep saying we blindly support Sen. Obama. I think both candidates have some supporters who read up on all the issues and can discuss them in depth. But they also have supporters who are excited about their candidate yet aren't all that well informed. What's new about that? But do we have to resort to name-calling and hateful comments?

No self-respecting Democrat would vote for a Republican just because they're angry that their favorite didn't become the Democratic nominee. All of us want our own candidate to win, but the issues are far too serious to get all pouty about this. If people know the issues of the Democratic candidates and of John McCain, they'd vote Democratic. (Unless they were McCain supporters all along anyway.)

michael   May 14th, 2008 3:56 pm ET

I've never seen so many ignorant comments on one site as I have on this one.

Mary G   May 14th, 2008 3:56 pm ET

I would imagine Chelsea heard about the prolonged bombardment of Vieques and wanted to see the affected area. Vieques is one of the islands that makes up Puerto Rico, a U.S. possession. The U.S. Navy shelled a large portion of the island after forcing those living there to retreat to the other side of the island. President Clinton halted the bombings. The clean-up of unexploded ordinance continues to this day. Amazingly, about half the people of Puerto Rico hope that their islands become a U.S. state. Perhaps their thinking is that the U.S. government would not treat a state as miserably as they've demonstrated they would treat a possession.

BTW, either Democratic candidate would be fine by me. I'm convinced that they both have America's interests at heart and would do a commendable job as commander-in-chief. In other words, neither one of them disgusts, angers, or scares me, but some of you bloggers sure do. Gee, how does it go? Do you get on the Ticker, spew some venom, and then go mow your lawns, make lunch, or finish a task at the office? Just wondering.

tigerakabj   May 14th, 2008 3:56 pm ET

Juan from L.A.   May 14th, 2008 3:49 pm ET

Ron from TX you're exactly right. These witches are good. Of course they knew the Navy under federal law would deny them to do so. Why in the world wouldn't they campaign in bases here in the States, and likewise would generate buzz among Boricuas who are against Viques.

Like mother like daughter. In 20 years she will say she is qualified for President just because she campaign for her mother and visited the 50 states or how she claimes the 1000 colleges. But when the questioning got hard like the Lewinsky, the horns came out just like her mom and pop.

And wouldn't it be really funny if Chelsea became the first female president and Hillary didn't. No one has ever wanted (or expected) to be president more than Hillary Clinton and it would be so ironic if she was the ONLY Clinton to never be one! Perfect!!

I think the Clintons are grooming Chelsea for the presidential bid 8 years from now. Chelsea will be using her childhood experience of the WhiteHouse, dodging bullets in Kosovo as a teenager and as an adult campaigning for her mother and of course trying to use the Navy visit as " Mission Accomplished" to be eligible for President in 8 years. She would say she has life long experience and should be the next president. She should join the Navy as other young women of her age.

Please keep Hillary away from the democratic ticket– she will get the Republicans really fired up, and Obama will lose all the hard work he has put into this process.

We should learn to take a political risk! This is what Obama refers to as Change!

Hillary is NOT taking a political risk; she is a known in and out of Washington. She is married to an "impeached" past-president.

The only person taking a "political risk" here is Obama (a black man from no where) and his supporters against the mighty forces!! Keep Hillary away from the democratic ticket!

I am a Democrat that is sick and tired of the Hillary bashing by the educated Obama supporters. They sound more like children than adults. Vicious and callous in their blogs. Yet they are supporting the love and peace unifier Obama. If this is what supporting Obama is like no thank you. I was going to vote for him I am not now. I will not throw my support behind someone that fosters the kind of hate that his supporters show. I am now starting to take a closer look at McCain, we will see what happens.

All you have to do is watch any one of Hillary's speaches and you would know exactly what her plans are for handling the economy, jobs in America, health care for all, if someone can answer these important issues then they should watch Obama's speeches about change (what) hope (for what) and now it is all about his unofficial race with McCain. A little presumptuous of him don't you think? Wow I just want to see his face turn red when he doesn't win the GE. And this is not a racial comment. He runs away from West Virginia b/c he feels he can't win….Let's see, he has bigger fish to fry in the name of McCain.

Bottom line, if Hillary's supporters are going to support McCain out of spite, they are doing more disservice to Hillary and our party than anything else. As a Barack supporter, I have been extremely offended by different comments made by Hillary herself in addition to her different surrogates and supporters. However, if she were to somehow win the nomination legally, I would vote for her over McCain any day. McCain represents a step backwards for the nation, not the type of progress or change that both Hillary and Barack would represent.

None of the 2 million Puerto Ricans can vote by law for President and Hillary wants their popular vote tally to count against Obama. Chelsea made a ploy to pander to the people there and lost. Hillary you can run, but you can't hide the fact you are losing and doing it in the worst way.

Maxine + 1   May 14th, 2008 3:14 pm ET

First she said the popular vote didn't count, when she was ahead, now the popular vote counts.
Second she said FL and MI shouldn't count since they didn't follow the rules.
Third she said the number to win is not 2025 but 2209.
Fourth she needs more money Please
Fifth, she didn't need the small states since they don't count. Now she needs ALL the states.
Sixth she said she is here for all Americans, now she only needs the white, blue collar, uneducated.
Seventh she is the canidate with the most experience, now she doesn't need to listen to economist, or and one else for that matter.
Eighth she said Obama is unelectable, now oh he is a great person.
How sad is this canidate……I loose more respect for her every day.
Which is it Hillary, I am getting confused.

Doug R.   May 14th, 2008 3:14 pm ET

Navy denies Chelsea Clinton access to former firing range…and our Supreme Court appointed President ignores and violates the rules, laws, and the Constitution (which I'm sure he can't even read) and does whatever he wants, especially lie to, mislead, and deceive law abiding citizens of ther United States.

Jo Ann   May 14th, 2008 3:12 pm ET

I am sure the Clinton's knew she would be denied access, this is just
another way to the media to report on her. She and her mother need to go home. This is another example of the Clintons trying to do anything to win.

Susan Missouri   May 14th, 2008 3:10 pm ET

Chelsea,

Good job campaigning for your Mom!

Keep it up :)

obama 08   May 14th, 2008 3:08 pm ET

I think it 's hilarious that Clinton is trying to win the popular vote and thinks that winning Puerto Rico would somehow help make her case for the nomination. Puerto Rico can't even vote in the general election. Also, how can she claim she has solutions to our economic problems when her own campaign is $20 million in debt? She's not a fighter, she's a cheater and Terry McCauliff is a raving maniac. What does it tell you when her main demographic is uneducated people?

Brian from Fort Mill, S.C.   May 14th, 2008 3:07 pm ET

As a consolation prize, Dick Cheney offered to take her hunting! :)

peter in PA   May 14th, 2008 3:06 pm ET

Jack Walden   May 14th, 2008 3:05 pm ET

Or maybe Dick Cheney was hunting there!

jr   May 14th, 2008 3:05 pm ET

Maybe Hillary gave Chelsea some inside Intel that the Bosnian sniper was now know to be operating in that area. Chelsea's task should she have chosen to accept it was to let the sniper know that all was forgiven and to remind him to vote for her mother in the up coming Puerto Rican primary on June 1st.

Trenton Sims, Los Angeles   May 14th, 2008 3:05 pm ET

In November, no doubt McCain will carry some states convincingly and lose in just as many others. Does anyone seriously think that the Republicans can carry California[eg.] no matter who the Deomcratic contender is and no matter who won it in the primary? Look at what is happening all over th country — the Repulbicans are losing long held safe seats to Democratic upstarts and new comers. This is a whole new time and mood. This November's election is wide open. Throw out all the historical demographics. Things are changing

The supporters of the each candidate will vote for the eventual nominee of the Party in the General Election.
Have people forgotten that Hukabee and Romney won some red states too. Does Anyone seriously think that because they beat McSain in those states, McSame will not carry those red States in November??

Get real Hillary.. Its Over.
Lou Dobbs could beat Mc Sain in November.

America is not so racist as to volunteer for 4 more years of McBush just to spite a black candidate..
Besides, if we should simply do whatever Hillary thinks is best for us..why even bother to conduct primaries?

MP-Pennsylvania   May 14th, 2008 3:03 pm ET

For all the women who support Hillary<
I am a woman. But I support for a candidate who can make a better place for our children and grand children and generations to coma. I would like to see a woman president. But not at the cost to the future generation.

I admire the tenacy she has at this age. But still when I researched about her, being politically vigilant for many years, I understand that Hillary will take care of the future generation in her family, not ours…..

Anita in NC   May 14th, 2008 3:03 pm ET

It continues;
this outright animosity;
name calling;
attacks of racism and
"antipathy towards those unlike themselves"
in the cause of political candidates.

Are these the unifying ideas of CHANGE?

NOT A HATER 08   May 14th, 2008 3:02 pm ET

Carefull, Chelse. You might come under sniper attacks.

Chelsea should get a real job, I forgot she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth just like her mommy. The Clintons are not different than the Bushes. Down with the elite.

Chelsea is 28 so she still has plenty of time to join the military, which is a lot more meaningful than her hedge fund job.

A military career may get Chelsea ready to run for presidency some day, unless she is already counting her 35 years of experience from when she lived in the White House.

Eddie   May 14th, 2008 3:00 pm ET

Some people ask why when Obama gets a lot of black votes they are not called racist, but when Hillary gets a lot of white votes they are called racist.Your candidate Hillary clearly stated that here uneducated white voters will not vote for Obama, but on the other hand blacks will vote for her, also when asked many of Hillarys white voters said out of thier own mouths that race was the reason they would not vote for Obama. This is a simple explanation, even a hillary supporter can understand. She made you all racist in her rhetoric.

Jack Walden   May 14th, 2008 3:00 pm ET

Bill Clinton lied to the American people as president. He lied to Hillary as a husband. She has accepted this behavior. Now she wants to lead America. How can you trust someone that is so accepting of such abhorrent behavior? And, she has lived with Bill longer than Reverend Wright was Obama's pastor…please, think about what you would be getting if you support this woman.

Roy Arellano (San Antonio)   May 14th, 2008 2:55 pm ET

They can pander all they want. I am a proud Hispanic-American, native son of California, Veteran, Commissioned Navy Officer, and Independent. I will not vote for Clinton no matter what or who she sends anywhere. She has proven to be dishonest, political, and lacks fundamental key personallity traits needed to change our nation. Funny that many say she has the latin voting block. Too bad the media doesn't understand how we really are as a people within this nation. Everyone I've spoken to from San Diego, to San Antonio, all the way to Atlanta, Georgia, completely disagree with HRC as a viable candidate.

Ban Michelle   May 14th, 2008 2:54 pm ET

Sandy   May 14th, 2008 2:49 pm ET

How is this newsworthy? A candidate's daughter asked to go somewhere and was denied. How does that make a story? Perhaps if she had been sighted stamping her feet and pounding her fists, but without that, there's nothing.

Chris, Middletown, CT   May 14th, 2008 2:46 pm ET

I so cannot understand "if not Hillary…then McCain" - but then ask the HRC supporters "which issues do you support Hillary on?" - they can never answer….its usually…."we need a woman in the White House" - omg….even a Saul Alinsky following "misspeaking" - panderer - please say you are listening to her (mixed) messages and researching them to see if they are remotely true….if you have ever answered this question with "they all do" - thats a feel good answer that makes you believe they do….when in fact….only Hillary does…

Its time…just look at the character and the policy offerings….and see who you will vote for….Hillary is bankrupt in so many ways..

Mat Grant   May 14th, 2008 2:46 pm ET

FLA and Michigan must count, they are also Americans

Obama can be her VP until he learns how to do the job. He might be eventually ready.

America cannot be entrusted to him as a guinea pig for an experiement in the lab.

Hillary 08 - Yes she will!!!
Puerto Rico, Florida, Michigan, West Virginia, Kentucky for Clinton!!!

Maggie VT   May 14th, 2008 2:45 pm ET

The Clinton's don't follow the rules???? They own the rules!!!!!! Ed Rendell!!!!! Don't you think Ed, the Obama campaign should make that decision and not you?????? And why would they want Hillary on the ticket??? So perhaps you could get involved with the White House???? NOT!!!

QuietStormX   May 14th, 2008 2:44 pm ET

Why is Puerto Rico so favored for Hillary Clinton? Because they are Latin and uneducated? I'm sure they have not been dumb and blind over these months of the nomination. If they read the news reports and follow the issues raised and differences between the two democratic candidates. If they want to move forward and not back, then I see them ready to turn the page. No more stunts and pandering from the Clinton's.

demwit   May 14th, 2008 2:44 pm ET

What!!?? Clearly it would be in our nations best interest to let the Clintons, and Obamas, tour the whole Vieques firing range…, un-escorted of course.

Mike in Columbus   May 14th, 2008 2:44 pm ET

The majority of Clinton supporters will support Obama in November…

Some will not, but I think most realize the stakes, and put that above sour grapes and petty jealousy.

However, most of the folks who keep repeating they won't support Obama on this blog will probably stick to their word. They can congratulate themselves if Obama loses, and smirk for a bit. They can also pat themselves on the back when the US troop casualty count comes in each month, and feel proud they help perpetuate that. They can smile to themselves as the dollar continues to weaken and friends and family can't find blue collar jobs in America, and know they had a hand in that too. As more conservative judges are appointed to the supreme court, they can laugh to themselves and say "yeah, but we sure taught the DNC a leason, didn't we?"

So be proud Obama haters, you are the true Americans aren't you?…
Let me answer that for you…

Norah   May 14th, 2008 2:44 pm ET

I am really surprised at the poll results in PR. I work with many people and companies in PR and they ALL say that they and everyone that they know are voting Obama. There seems to be increasing anti Clinton sentiment there and I have no idea where the poll results are coming from.

Tyrone   May 14th, 2008 2:44 pm ET

Crushing Victory, Crushing Victory, Crushing Victory,

All day long this is all CNN keeps parroting.

But how quickly you CNN'ers forget. This Crushing Victory, was supposed to be 80-20 and even 90-10, Bill and Hillary's "in the red" campaigners did not even allow for the "other" candidate picking up 10%, boy these Clinton's sure are arrogant! and "Clinton News Network" is right there behind them all the way!

Monica   May 14th, 2008 2:43 pm ET

"Obama was right about "bitterness". However the bitterness comes from his ignorant supporters. People, please at least try to sound as educated as the MSM claims you are.
If "educated" is too high a bar for you, maybe you could try to sound mature.
Either way, it seems to be a stretch for the Obamabloggers to sound informed."

And then I saw your post name,,, "If not Hillary…then McCain". You expect others to be mature and not bitter but you cannot manage it yourself.

Henry Miller, Cary, NC   May 14th, 2008 2:42 pm ET

It is time the American people lose the emition when it comes to chosing their next President. It is all business and economics.
We in Canada rely heavily on the U.S. economy and have been doing well. However, your recession is starting to ripple this way.
Clinton is a strong leader with great experience who I believe can steer the United States into the leading powerhouse it needs to be.
The media we see here show pure emotion regarding Clinton and Obama. The fact of the better leader with the most experience does not seem to be highlighted.
So, just vote for Hilary and call it a day.

Maybe she wants to promise that her mother will clean it all up this summer and the land will be divided up and given to all of the people in PR.
And by the way, the Clinton bloggers say just as many mean things about Obama and his supporters. I have been reading alot about how the Obama supporters are so mean and that they will not vote for him because of that and then in the same breath they call him and his supporters names. Little silly don't you think. It does not make some of the things that are said okay but it is a little… the pot calling the kettle black.

Jason before you get to sick of the democrats, think back when Bill Clinton was president by the time he left office " no democrat could hold our heads up", that's how someone like George Bush got into office. The shame, we felt over lieing about " not having sex with that woman, then oral sex is not sex, if, I am not mistaken isn't he a felon, who also lost his law license. Also how big a part did Rush Limbaugh's crowd play in the election in West Virginia. Hill says her supporters are poor uneducated, white country. That's not very flattering, though the Obama supporters said nothing about it. We will stand for something and not fall for anything.

Sean   May 14th, 2008 2:37 pm ET

Sharon in Georgia: Your ignorance is flowing over! A three day weekend over Easter weekend is hardly running away. Knowing when you can't win is just smart (Hillary should take note). He had over 20 debates, so you can't say he ran away form those. I'm sure there are times when Hillary has answered fewer than 8 questions. He is not running away from FL and MI, but he is trying to respect the rules the DNC set forth and at the same time acknowledge FL and MI. It's clear who you support, but try to argue the truth, and not this drivel.

Elizabeth, NC   May 14th, 2008 2:36 pm ET

This is one of the more reasons why Obama should not pick Hillary as VP. 'Daughter Chelsea sent to train in a Navy Barracks' oops did I say train, I meant campaign. Read between the lines.

Olivia   May 14th, 2008 2:36 pm ET

As I've said before……a lot of Obama's supporters are really mean-spirited. I don't know if that's because they gravitate to him or if he brings out the worse in them.
I hope the puerto ricans realize by now that obama's main support is african americans and payback for 98% onus will be high on his list.
Hillary has always been there for latinos. She is the best candidate who will be there for us. Some superdelegates are trying to bring this race to an early stop…a cut-off….and history will judge them for it in a negative way.

Vote Hillary!

I think I read about the Superdelegates for Obama on TIME.com.. Not sure why CNN hasn't mentioned it. If they are the ones you are referring to, they are two college students, following the wishes of the "college voters" they represent..

I live outside of the United States and watch with amazement
the divisiveness that exists within one party. Can you all please
remember that it is McCain and the republican party you are supposed to be directing such animosity toward so we don't end up with another Bush-like administation. I say "we" because the policies in the U.S whether we like it or not affect the rest of the world, not just the U.S. My country is also at war because of American U.S foreign policy, so could the American voters stop this petty bickering and get it right this time please, it's not just about you!

we ARE bitter!!!!!   May 14th, 2008 2:33 pm ET

I've been to Vieques…it's so darn beautiful.

Perhaps Chelsea forget to "Change the rule" which is typical of Clinton brand!.

Question to ask Clinton   May 14th, 2008 2:32 pm ET

The question I want to ask Clinton: what on the earth make her think that Clintions are beyond rules and laws while ordinary people have to abid them? Look at the election rules, the impeachment and fundraising regulations and so on.

The Navy should of invited the whole family and provided an un-armored vehicle or better yet a Humvee with "hillbilly" armor. Have a nice day.

Clinton Fatigue   May 14th, 2008 2:31 pm ET

So, you're covering this bizarre publicity stunt, and yet you will not cover the two superdelegates Obama picked up today.

Either show some semblance of journalistic integrity or change your name to the Clinton News Network!

Chris   May 14th, 2008 2:31 pm ET

bitter Obama people. Bitter..Not really a story. Get over it.

Nigel, ME   May 14th, 2008 2:30 pm ET

Bravo!
I think the DNC should take some lessons from the NAVY. Hillary can't walk all over them.

For the record: I deny Hillary and her phony, goal-post moving campaign. Just think about the circus her campaign is running, now they're pandering to folks who would never have voted for Barack anyway.

Not sleeping at the switch   May 14th, 2008 2:30 pm ET

Hillary will win PR because they know she will continue our outdated policies there. I KNOW 99% of the people in the US do not know that the VAST Majority of the people in PR are on WELFARE and do not pay Taxes like you and I. PR is a Tax Haven for Business and EVERYTIME PR has to vote to be an actual STATE it is overwhelmingly voted DOWN…..Why NOT??? Live on the US Tax Payers money and since you are not a state pay NOTHING!!!! People need to know WHY people support Hillary and it is NOT because she is good for YOU!!!

Drew, Central FL   May 14th, 2008 2:30 pm ET

Too many GOP provocateurs mucking about today. How is this news? I certainly don't care what Chelsea does. Boricuas are smarter than the Clintons give them for.

Si se puede!

If she were wearing a flag pin, they might have let her in, unless it was made in China, of course.

Saleh   May 14th, 2008 2:29 pm ET

Question to RENDELL: If Clinton was wnning, would you have asked her to nominate Obama as VP? Now that she's sure going to loose, let Obama pick his own VP, and its not going to be you!
